I just got hit with a visceral memory of attending mcm comic con around 15 years ago and seeing someone cosplay the literal tumblr dashboard

Nothing beats the maniacal high of finally figuring out the perfect way to end a fic you first started planning back in 2019 but abandoned the same year because you couldn't think of said ending

Sometimes all you need to get out of a bit of an art slump is one silly lil idea... and a couple of bees. Because of course it'd be the bees. x'D

Inspired by an idea/possible HC I came up with about the twins early days on Sodor. And how they were supposed to come with their nameplates/numberplates... but they didn't! Whoops! xD So while S.C.C was trying to sort out that whole mess, the twins started their trickery. After all, they look completely identical. They could probably get away with switching names without anyone even realizing... And so they did! xD And thus began their reign of chaos! Thankfully once the nameplates/numberplates arrived that put a stop to their nonsense.... At least for a little while. ;D Personally I think it'd be really fun if they did actually fully swap names (I.E Bill was originally supposed to be named Ben, and vice versa), but maybe they just flip-flop occassionally for fun. Who knows! It really could go any way with these two. After all it's not like they'll ever tell us who's really who! xD That's part of the fun! Anywho, I had a lot of fun drawing these silly lil guys! And although I don't often draw backgrounds, it was refreshing to give it a go again and really just go ham with it. And I'm really happy with the outcome too! Made myself furious over the concept of a humanized engines dating sim except Edward isn't a datable option like he drops very subtle hints that he's low-key interested and he goes out of his way to assist you but the game just doesn't give you any options
