I was browsing Yugiohpedia and checked out her page. It said that's what she's credited as. Her name モブ子こ can be translated as "mob-girl," which may refer to her random appearances in the show. Still, it's nice that I can call her something more official.

Main Actors: Leo Yang, Chen Shu Jun, Wu Qian Xin, Wang Cheng, Austin Sui, Tian Kai

Plot: Lin Bao'er is a Southeast Asian shipping heiress who sets up shop in the coastal town of Lianhe, running into Zhu Guanwen, heir to the richest family in town, on the eve of his wedding to the mayor's daughter. Sparks fly immediately as the two are matched in intelligence, plotting, and care for each other. Given past events in their lives, the two join together to take down their enemies. (8.4/10)

Relationship: The past few webseries I watched were so mediocre I didn't even review them; however, this one had a decent relationship between the main leads. Despite being protective of the FL in his care for her, the ML does not baby, overprotect, or underestimate her and instead simply offers his help so he's always by her side and supports her rights (and wrongs). Morally grey power couple for the win! Do they have their issues? Absolutely. Does the couple that slays together stay together? 100%. (8.1/10)

Characters: I enjoyed the leads' portrayals of their characters. I felt that the main female antagonist was a little underutilized, but I found the main male villain interesting enough, though I have some doubts about the ending of his villainy re: still lying about past circumstances? (8.2/10)

Final Thoughts: First thoughts: this drama used the exact same set as Leo's previously-seen/later filmed Chinese Republican Era webseries Her Disguise. This was a decently done drama for only being 24 ~10-minute episodes. I liked the strong FL and thought the leads' relationship was pretty well done. An interesting plot and satisfying ending made me give this a (8.5/10)

EDITx2: this investigation is currently ongoing with live information being added as it is confirmed as relevant; I did not expect the entire internet to give a shit about soy sauce, and so early in the investigation there is quite a lot of outdated information, which has since been corrected, grown more in-depth, and begun to piece together into something more cohesive.

i am currently waiting on a response from the National Archives, a soybean innovation laboratory contact, and a researcher of the works of the Chief Historian of the United States during the occupation. this investigation is not an ARG, and in the real world, actual research takes time on a scale outside of the usual social media expectations. please respect that i cannot speed up the wheels of bureaucracy for you.

She speaks like 4 languages for some reason? She’s a domestic abuse survivor. She funds a lady race car driving club. She used her diaphragm to catch a deadly spider. She can fly planes. She’s kinky as hell. She used to be an army nurse. Just character of all time.
