I need. A fic. Where. Kakashi and Rin from the timeline established in "Ming Fan ends up in Naruto and massively derails the plot" end up in canon. And just kinda fucks around and gives us fun reactions n stuff
As a refresher, that timeline looks like this:
Izuna was first Hokage, Tobirama second Hokage, and Kagami the third
Sakumo was appointed 4th instead of Minato since Ming Fan interfered with his mission gone wrong
Kannabi bridge went unfortunately similar to canon, and Obito fell into Madara's hands.
With Sakumo still alive at the time, Kakashi was able to recover from this without the major personality shift, and due to a combination of Sakumo and Ming Fan's additional training, when it was Rin's turn on the chopping block, she instead survived and now continues to live as the Konoha's second jinchuriki
Obito attacked Konoha with the intention of releasing the kyuubi, and at the time Kushina and Minato were in the Senju compound for the birth
Mito got in his way, delaying him long enough for Sakumo to also arrive
In the fight, both Mito and Sakumo died (fucking thanks, Obito. I don't know if Kakashi's gonna be able to forgive u for that one this time around) but Kushina and Minato survived, and Naruto was born healthy and without the fox sealed into him
Kakashi is understandable devastated, and as recovery efforts begin, he's taken in by Minato and Kushina. He offers little fight against this.
With Sakumo's death, Kagami was once again appointed as the Hokage. After only a year or two of stabilizing Konoha + preparing his successor, he quickly gives Minato the hat, and retreats once again to retirement.
Minato makes Kakashi and Rin both ANBU, expressing his desire to have them by his side (at least this time they're slightly older, with Kakashi at 15 and Rin at 17) and puts them on home guard, specifically as Naruto's ANBU guards. It's an easy job, and helps Kakashi in particular to heal some, even if he gets even more rigid about things like rules and formalities
With Izuna as the first Hokage and Kagami as the third (and technical 5th) Uchiha-village relations were actually very good! Thanks to this, the Uchiha massacre was avoided entirely
Kakashi is raised pretty much as Naruto's very protective older brother, with Rin in a similar boat but she still has her own family so there isnt quite so much trauma fueled dependency from her end.
Naruto grows up to be alarmingly talented, with Kakashi and Rin tutoring him, and Minato and Kushina obviously doing their best (though Minato remains mostly busy due to the unfortunate realities of being a Hokage. Meanwhile Naruto is absolutely a total mommas boy)
Kakashi and Rin end up actually fighting over who gets to be Naruto's sensei (Naruto wants NEITHER OF THEM!!!!! HES A BIG BOY NOW STOP CODDLING HIM!!!!!)
Canon then proceeds mostly the same, though with some very obvious major changes
Somewhere along the way, Itachi is convinced to ditch Konoha even without the massacre, and later down the like Sasuke also follows suit to investigate what happened with his brother— though this time he leaves with orders from Minato to go undercover, and investigate Sound
(fucking THANKS dad!! -Naruto, probably, when he finds this out)
+ also I originally had some vague ideas for the 9 tails jinchuriki Sakura— with both her and Naruto eligible for the role when it times come to pass the responsibility down. Kushina ultimately going with the very selfish choice of not wanting her son to suffer the same fate as herself, choosing instead to vouch for the skilled civilian girl to take on the burden. Maybe incorporate that into it, that could be fun
BUT LIKE. Codependent queerplatonic besties Rin and Kakashi, some time around when they're fighting over who gets to be Naruto's sensei (Minato wants nothing to do with that argument, no matter who he picks someone is going to stab him so he refuses to make the choice himself) — and then somehow wind up in canon
Kakashi is so fun in that au, he's a LOT closer to being the strict, bratty kid he used to be than the lazy, perpetually late slack off we know and love in canon (although, despite his preaching about protocols, he can be alarmingly loose when it comes to bending rules to suit him. Being the special little guy of not just 1 but 2 Hokage's absoloutley made his bad habits so much worse, he can get away with almost anything and he knows it)
He also has some insane unresolved feelings ab his father's death, who is cemented as a hero both in his heart and the hearts of all of Konoha, for both his service and his sacrifice
Sakumo's death wasn't drowned out in the massacre of grief of literally all his loved ones dying in such quick succession, and so it's been given a lot more time and space to fester— Kakashi absoloutley has some revenge type shit going on with the "mystery masked man" who attacked Konoha and killed his father, and Rin stands beside him— having exacted a promise from him to not take on the burden of revenge alone ("that's what comrades are for, Kakashi!")
He can have his revenge quest but only if she gets to come with, you hear!! They probably had some huge blow up fight over it years ago that ended in like, and super dramatic blood pact to do this together. Yay friendship !!! If one of them dies the other will go insane.
Watch your fucking back Obito, if Kakashi becomes too emotional to kill you at the grand reveal, Rin will handle the "overcome by murderous rage" part on his behalf.
Anyways, throw them into cannon !!! Yippie !!!
The two Kakashi's can not look eachother in the eyes without canon!Kakashi developing a rather violent twitch and AU!Kakashi pulling on a face of pure disgust. They are everything they hate in a person and they share the same face. It's very uncomfortable for the both of them.
Having way too much fun specifically thinking ab them reacting to Sarutobi as Hokage— Sarutobi is not and has never been Hokage in their world, they have no idea what to do with this. He's one of the Hokage's advisors, but retired alongside Kagami, so he hasn't been politically relevant in years, not even as Sarutobi clan head since that position recently went to Asuma in their world.
Meanwhile Sarutobi and Danzo are going through all the stages of grief at the knowledge that Kagami was their 3rd Hokage, oh man are they Experiencing Emotions rn fr
That isn't even covering like. Oh hey! Btw! Sakumo was Hokage for a good few years!
(Multiple people looking at this strange, uptight version of Kakashi who very visibly seems to think he's better than 90% of the people in the room at any time: "....that checks out...")
Also!! This Kakashi has never heard people talk bad about his father bc Sakumo's mission never fucked up! The village loved that guy, even after so many years, Kakashi will still occasionally hear murmurs of "if only lord 4th was still around"
He is very much known as and proud of being "the son of lord 4th, the white fang, who died to keep the kyuubi from being released and killing us all"
I'm sure there were undoubtedly some people within Konoha who didn't especially like Sakumo, but even still, theyd never fucking DARE to say anything within earshot of Kakashi. Total death wish, why would u do that?
Obv, other countries no doubt celebrated his death (especially in Suna where he was wildly unpopular and deeply feared) but like. In Konoha? Nah people LOVE that guy, even after so many years.
All of that is to say that if a single person breathes wrong about Sakumo "deserving his death" Kakashi will go fucking insane on their ass. Immediatley. There will be blood. Rin will not hold him back.
Anyways silly Kakashi and Rin snippet time:
"So are you two— dating?"
"I'm out of her league." Kakashi says as simultaneously, Rin replies,
"The only thing that can get Kakashi up is a rule book"
"Isn't that right, Kashi-chan?"
"Can you not??"
"Oh, I'm sorry I forgot only your Kushina-neechan can call you that" Rin teased, and Kakashi turned a shade of red so bright he seemed to glow with it even under his mask.
"I was drunk!"
Rin gave him a comforting pat on the back that did absoloutley nothing to actually comfort him. "And you'll never live it down."
"I would be a great sensei!" Kakashi denied, very much ignoring the immediate noises of doubt and disbelief coming from everyone in their general area.
"You hate children!" Rin accused, pointing a disbelieving finger at him.
"I would be a great sensei for Naruto!" Kakashi corrected himself, and Rin rolled her eyes.
"And then what? You tie up the other 2 and leave them somewhere while you teach Naruto?"
"It'd be good for their character!"
"You were supposed to deny that that's what you'd do that, Kakashi!"
"Well if you like the other 2 so much, then you can teach them! And I'll just take Naruto!"
"He needs a team Kakashi!"
"Sensei said—"
"Sensei said you were a little bitch as a kid and a team is what helped straighten out your attitude."
"He did not!"
Rin sniffed. "Maybe he didn't use those exact words, but—"
"Well a team certainly didn't help your attitude, did it? And besides, you don't even like kids either!"
"Hmph. I'd make an exception, because I'm a good sensei."
I think Rin and Kakashi have genuinley fought exactly 2 times.
One was when Kakashi was spiraling a bit on his revenge quest for his dad and Rin got him to promise to let her in on the revenge so he didn't fucking kill himself alone trying to avenge Sakumo.
And one is their current, very petty arguing over who gets to be Naruto's sensei
(Team 7 ends up having 2 very enthusiastic sensei's, who also end up getting a stern talking to from both Minato and Naruto of all people about playing favorites. It's deeply embarrassing for everyone involved.)
I actually just need Rin and Kakashi very loudly arguing over who gets to be team 7s sensei while canon!team 7 stands there like ??????????
AU!Kakashi and Rin are nagging Canon!Kakashi about how lucky he is to be their sensei. Canon!Kakashi needs them to shut the fuck up and get out of his line of sight immediatley so he can have that mental breakdown he's overdue for
AU!Kakashi is going to cause problems for Canon!Kakashi on purpose. He's looking directly into his counterparts eyes and going "Wow Naruto you look just like ur dad. Who is my sensei btw. Did other me tell me that? You should ask him ab that. Sensei said I'd get to be ur big brother when u were born. Just so u know. Oh hey Sasuke! Wow it's sooo funny that ur on team 7 when I also helped train Itachi. Crazy."
He refuses to be silenced he thinks canon!Kakashi is being a cowardly little bitch and will not take "everyone I know died and I'm incredibly depressed" as any sort of reasoning, he's calling it an excuse and telling Kakashi to do better
(Rin is telling him to slow the fuck down and be nicer to himself)
The Kakashi's fucking HATEEEE eachother it's super awkward for literally everyone around them
Anyways the Uchiha massacre !!! in the AU, the Uchiha's relationship with the village is very good, they're incredibly well respected, powerful, and one of the centermost clans of Konoha. Arguably the centermost clan, especially since the Senju are pretty much all gone now
So the Uchiha massacre being a thing is totally out of nowhere and horrifying to Rin and Kakashi. Like, it would have been even if the Uchiha were in poor standing, but that's like THE clan!!! Holy shit!!! And they're— gone? Dead? Killed in their own homes?
They're both told Itachi did it and kinda uhh. Don't fully believe it.
Itachi did leave the village in their world, but peacefully and for unknown reasons still under investigation (and then there was a ton of fun stuff with Sasuke facing a ton of sudden pressure as the new clan heir) and Kakashi and Rin both knew him, having been on team Ro together, so there's a lot of disbelief at the idea that he could do such a thing
But also like, they are in an alternate dimension. One that honestly? Kind of seems to be the worst timeline to them.
Anyways uhhh also fun playing with the HUGE difference in how jinchuriki are treated in the two konohas— one in which the kyuubi was released and decimated a chunk of the village, and another where Obito was stopped before it was released, + their jinchuriki are known war heroes
(Rin was made into a war hero of her own right, coming back from their mission as the new sanbi jinchuriki. People like to say she bested the demon with her will of fire or smthn, it makes for a great story)
Obv they still face a lot of negative stigma (particularly from civilians) but nowhere NEAR as much as canon konoha. Plus like. One jinchuriki is the Hokage's beloved and popular wife, and the other is a war hero. So.
Rin and Kakashi are hearing that Naruto is the kyuubi's jinchuriki and staring blankly at whoever told them. In their world, Kushina still holds the title, and the clan council is in the middle of choosing who will be the next one (Sakura or Naruto)
Rin can help give him jinchuriki lessons!! They can bond over having demons in them <3
Also thinking about how since AU!Kakashi got more time w his dad, he's a lot more aware of and proud of his clan heritage as a Hatake. He wears his clan mon on his clothes just like his old man used to, loud and proud
It'd be cool if I grabbed a fistful from that other obkk child bride ghost marriage au where Rin survives and Kakashi gets kind of partially claimed by the Uchiha bc of Obito's eye + the ghost marriage
Not the ghost marriage part to be clear (Sakumo would never fucking allow it in a million years) but the "Kakashi kind of gets picked up by the scruff by the Uchiha bc of his sharingan and gets special lessons from them and lowkey becomes an honorary Uchiha" bit. Would give him even more reason to a) be really fucked up about the massacre + know Itachi, and b) approach Sasuke
Also it'd just be fun and super funky, especially for those around him reacting to it
Let him wear a shirt with the Hatake mon on one sleeve and the Uchiha mon on the other, in alignment with his eyes!!! It'll be fun!!! It'll be quirky!!!
(Also, it'd mean he's the special little guy of 2 Hokage's and the most important and powerful clan in Konoha. Even more reason for him to be the way he is. Also: infinitely funny.)
I have a couple more abstract thoughts but I think this has become more than long enough, so I'll stop there. But like !!!! Dimension travel my beloved

Sitting back, eyes closed, you soak in the heat of the water of the natural hot spring, relishing the way it soothed the ache in your sore muscles. Your last mission, one of utmost secrecy at the bidding of a the now deceased Lord Third Hokage ( and wasn’t that a startling fucking thought, knowing the old man was good and dead when he’d been around to see three hokages including himself come and go and then even came out of retirement in Minato’s place ), had run long and difficult; only two of the six that had set out had come back, with one of the pair being yourself.
Two of those who would never return had been your own students, still so green at the gills and small in stature in your eyes that wearing their blood home still made you ache all over in ways unrelated to your strained body.
Water suddenly sloshes up over the sides of the public baths you recline in, but you don’t react. You recognize those footsteps, recognize the breathing patterns behind you to your right and recognize the familiar aura of that intense chakra that you used to be so jealous of — but that was a long time ago, and you no longer had any care or need to be jealous of a superior turned equal.
“What ways have you rid yourself of your students now, Kakashi?” you ask lazily, not bothering to open your eyes. “I hope they aren’t trailing behind you like a litter of lost kittens.” No matter how fond you were of Kakashi, his children were no obligation of yours, and despite how good it felt to bask in the relentless warmth of the public bath, you would abandon it in favor of peace and quiet. You were in no mood for children — not now. Not after what had happened on this last mission. A silence follows, though comfortable, before the unseen man replies.
“I told them to take the day off,” he admits quietly, settling down nearby. “After what happened, it’s the least they deserved.”
You hum thoughtfully to yourself. “Mmm, I agree,” you murmur, then sigh and cross your arms over your bare breasts, eyes still closed. “They’re too young for this. I still think we should bump up the genin applicant age requirements to sixteen.”
You can practically sense the man nearby nod. “Yes. All the trauma… It isn’t healthy. Not for children — it’s why I never take students.” His voice is soft and conflicted; he loves this trio, you already can tell. Nothing wrong with it, of course, those sorts of feelings from teacher and student  just typically backfire eventually — your own set being the perfect worst-case example.
“And yet now you lead three,” you muse wryly, a half-amused smirk on your lips. A scoffed sigh at your right shows his own ill-concealed amusement, and the two of you fall back into silence, wordlessly enjoying the heat of the water as well as one another’s company.
After a moment, a soft utterance of your name — hesitant and cautious — has your ears metaphorically pricking up. “Where…” Kakashi pauses, thinking the question over; ultimately he decides to pursue its answer. “Where are yours? Your students.”
Your kids.
A stiff, cold silence settles over you both, the frigid sensation cruelly eating into Kakashi’s bones despite the heat of the baths, and you say nothing — but he can see the way your muscles have tensed in a way that looks painful, and he’d seen the way only you and a single lost-looking chunin had returned bloodied and bruised from a mission that had started out with six in number, and he knows. Kakashi knows what happened, he just doesn’t want to believe it. You’d had this pair of students at your back for years now, they were about to graduate entirely and leave your tutelage. Kakashi himself knew them both by name, had greeted them whenever he visited you for whatever reason; they’d both made homes for themselves in you and your house, and for you to be without them after striking out on a job with them was the only real evidence he needed of the truth.
But again, he didn’t want to believe it.
“Gone,” you finally mutter, voice cold and empty of emotion. “Information was bad. One of ours sold us out on top of it. We couldn’t catch a break.” Another long silence separates the two of you, and the small area of water between you both feels like an endless ocean. Kakashi silently mourns with you, knowing nothing could soothe the hurt of what’s already happened; you’d lost students before, twice before actually, but these had been the first you’d taken on in so long, and they’d been with you for years at this point. Adding onto the agony,  you’d only ever lost one at a time in those two instances before — and never your entire set.
Kakashi wonders when and what he’ll have to tell his own students; they’d joined you and yours for exercises and more than a handful of missions in the past, and Kakashi knew how fond Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura were of the pair of seventeen year olds that followed your lead — but later. They’d hurt enough this week. “I — ” he starts to apologize, wanting you to know he understands, but you don’t let him.
“It is what it is,” you almost growl, and Kakashi knows that you don’t want to speak about this anymore. He won’t make you. You never forced him to discuss his own losses, so what kind of person would he be to press yours?
The two of you sit in silence again, the tension slowly easing into a more comfortable aura, and you both finally relax, basking for an hour in the simple, easy quiet that had fallen between the two of you. You can hear each other’s breathing, can sense the soothing pulse of one another’s chakra, and it’s an easy existence. The two of you had always managed to rest together once your burning jealousy faded and Kakashi’s self-deprecation eased enough for him to accept the hesitant companionship you offered — not friends right away, but you’d started off by sharing a few drinks every now and then, and then meetings every other fortnight or so became weekly, then biweekly, and they finally evolved into happening whenever one of you felt the need to see the other.
Like now.
“God, my calves ache,” you grumble, finally breaking the silence again, and he doesn’t bother fighting off the fond smile that creeps up at the sound of your grumpy voice. He’d been nervous that the most recent mission would change everything, but that was foolish; neither of you were strangers to loss. You’d manage, as always.
“If it makes you feel better, my shoulders feel like shit,” he offers, his soft smile widening upon hearing you snort.
“You trying to one-up me, Hatake?” you ask lazily, sitting up and stretching. He turns to answer, and after seeing them so often it’s easy to practically ignore the way your breasts lift above the water and reveal half-hard nipples as you raise your arms.
“I could make this a competition if you really wanted one,” he retorts easily, and your amused huff turns his smile to a slight grin.
“Fuck you,” you reply. A warm, excited buzz starts to fill him, a feeling he frequently had when in your presence; god, he loved spending time with you, however it may be.
“Right now? Normally we drink first,” he teases, and another silence falls between the two of you. Kakashi squeezes his eyes shut and kicks himself a little, wondering where the urge to say something that hinted at being vulgar to you had come from; this wasn’t one of his dirty romance novels, this was you, and Kakashi liked you. He didn’t want to fuck this up.
He jumps a little at the feeling of someone straddling his lap, and when his eyes instinctively flick open they widen at the sight of you gazing down at him with a dirty grin twisting your lips.
“Don’t tell me the old man can’t get it up after making the joke,” you tease in turn, and he starts grinning again. Why was he worried, again? This was you he was speaking to. You’d said much filthier things, things that would get you kicked out of most public places should you be overheard.
“Big talk for someone with such a small dick,” he replies, tilting his head to the side while looking up at you, and you scoff.
“I think my cock’s plenty large, Hatake,” you rumble, reaching between your bodies and taking his cock in one hand. A soft gasp leaps from his lips unintentionally, and you laugh breathily. “See? Large and still growing,” you murmur playfully through your messy grin, and Kakashi laughs in a way that devolves into a shaky whimper when you run your thumb across the sensitive underside of the tip of his cock.
“I’m n-not sure that belongs to you,” he manages to choke out as you start pumping his shaft one-handed beneath the water, and you hum slightly.
“Isn’t it?” you ask slyly, leaning down and beginning to lave hot, open-mouthed kisses along his neck. You stop for a moment with your tongue pressed flat against his racing pulsepoint before biting slightly at it and sucking at the hot flesh before moving up to his jawline. Soft pleased noises are your reward from the man you’re straddling, and you smile softly against his heated skin in between kisses and bites before continuing.
Your free hand begins to wander, gently beginning to massage the shoulders he’d complained of aching, all while covering him in love bites and kisses. “God, I’m so glad you’re home,” Kakashi whispers, his big hands coming to rest on your hips as you caress him with both your hands and your mouth. “Y’were gone so long-“ he’s interrupted when your mouth covers his so your tongues can lave over each other before you move on, and he keeps speaking. “-I kept getting so fucking hard and couldn’t do a damn thing about it without you, and I… Fuck, I missed you, I wanted you home, wanted you home so bad!” His deep voice comes out in a slight whine as his hips buck up into your loosely fisted hand, but you don’t fault him for it. Kakashi had always been especially sensitive to your touch, and this time was no different.
He continues to nonsensically ramble as you play with his cock and drown him with your lips, your hips slowly starting a smooth rhythm of grinding against him to soothe the taut heat in your belly.
“You talk too much,” you growl into his mouth, nipping at his lips in between kisses all while getting rougher and rougher with each roll of your hips and jerk of your hand. “Shut up and fuck me until you have to carry me out of the fucking hot springs.” It all comes out louder than you’d intended, something that makes Kakashi a little nervous; this wasn’t a private bathing area, anyone could come in at any time, and if you got caught the two of you would be blacklisted by the staff. You had to be careful.
“Y’gotta shut that pretty mouth before you get us caught,” Kakashi moans, his callused hands grasping at your hips as the water sloshes around you. “F-Fuck, that feels good…!”
“I gotta shut my mouth?” you reply, voice filled with exasperated sarcasm. “Hatake, you’re whining like a virgin touching his first pair of tits, don’t even try me.”
“God, you’re such a fucking brat,” Kakashi groans, and you chuckle right before he captures his mouth with your own at the same time as you lift your hips. He does the same, freeing his cock from beneath the water, and you sink down on it before it really has a chance to start getting cold. The two of you moan into the other’s mouth at the simultaneous feeling of being filled and filling someone.
“You’re gonna be the death of me, Hatake,” you whine breathily into him, and he moans deeply and rolls his hips up into yours in response. The only noises falling from those sinful lips of his are stuttered whines and groans, noises you mirror and respond to in kind as he fucks up into you at the same time you thrust down, the head of his cock slamming against your sensitive cervix as the cock your insides are practically moulded to carved out it’s usual place inside you.
“F-Fuck yes — please, more!”  Kakashi whimpers, and you let your head fall back at the tone of his words, slamming down just a little bit harder. Water sloshes violently around the two of you, splashing up over the lip of the bath as the two of you roll your bodies together in that perfect way that the two of you were well practiced in.
Throwing your arms around his shoulders, you hold on tight and he brutally fucks his hips up into yours, water splashing and his heavy balls slapping audibly against you as he fills you to the brim with his cock. “O-Oooh-!” you moan suddenly, the noise swift and punched out of you. At the sound of it, Kakashi’s voice cracks.
“Oh, God yes — harder, ride me fucking hard, just like that-!”
His eyes are rolling up now, and the grip he has on your hips is bruisingly tight. One of his big hands runs up the length of your spine, his forearm crossing your shoulder blades while his hand grips desperately at your shoulder, tugging you closer to him and mashing your chests together. One of your own hands moves to cup the back of his head, your fingers disappearing into his white hair, and your own head lolls forward so your forehead rests against one of your arms around his shoulders.
“Fuck, Kakashi,” you whisper out in a whine, moaning softly as he cants his hips up in the way he knows you like without even thinking. “A-aah-! Mmmhh… Oh, fuck…”
“S-So good,” he grunts, “Fuckfuckfuck — Y-Yes, c’mon, s’close-!” His rhythm is getting lost in the pleasured haze you’re both collapsing into. You can feel yourself on the brink, and you relinquish your grip around his shoulders with one hand to push the other between your grinding bodies to rub furious circles around your clit, your hips stuttering messily up into your own touch.
“Y’gonna cum for me, Kakashi?” You ask breathlessly through a moan. “Gonna cum in me, gonn fill me up? Gonna breed my whore fuckin’ cunt?”
“Only a whore for me,” Kakashi growls plaintively against you, and you whine.
“Y-Yeah, baby, only for you. ‘M all yours…” The promise has him moaning again, your own voice joining him as the two of you both ease closer and closer to the edge, a long drawn out series of filthy noises and sounds falling from both of your lips at the same time.
The stone at least two feet outside of the baths is darkened by water that’s splashed over from the violent movements going on in the heated pools, and both you and Kakashi are sopping wet and soaked; anyone with a brain in their head would know what’s happened, people who frequent the public baths here aren’t typically idiots — but you don’t care. You’re too fucking close to cumming to give a fuck about the disgust, about the reports that would be made, about the notice that would be put up warning patrons of the consequences of being caught fucking on the property.
“M’gonna cum,”Kakashi whimpers breathily, “God, I’m gonna cum, gonna cum so hard!”
“Yeah?” you ask weakly, letting out a gasped cry when he hits inside perfectly. “A-Aah! Y-Yes, yes — cum for me, Kakashi, fill me up!” You watch through a haze as his eyes roll back and his jaw drops, his mouth open and ready for the moment you spit in his mouth. A garbled cry echoes in his throat moments before he swallows what you’d given him, and two quick ruts up into you end with him keeping his hips up and grinding his cock inside as a familiar warmth spreads inside your cunt. You circle your clit faster and faster until your own orgasm washes over you, your own eyes rolling back and one twitching slightly as you clamp down on and begin milking his cock of all the cum it has to offer, pressing down into where he’s pushing up into you.
Your grip on him tightens as you cling to him like some love-stricken beast, and he reacts in kind, squeezing you back and clutching your naked body close as his cock twitches inside of you with each new spurt of cum he releases inside.
“Fuckin’ — F-Fuckin’ love you,” he mumbles into your skin as his heart races against yours, and you hold him close while he does the same with you.
You press a gentle kiss to the crown of his head. “Love you too,” you whisper, allowing yourself the simple pleasure. ‘I love you’s were only said in moments like this, with him balls deep inside where he belonged and filling you up like you deserved.
The two of you rest with his cock still in you, basking in the afterglow before Kakashi finally breaks it.
“Come home with me,” he says quietly. “Sleep in my bed with me tonight, wanna hold you to sleep.” You’re quiet for a moment, unsure, but eventually nod.
“Okay,” you whisper. You’ll allow yourself the luxury of comfort, even if just for tonight. If anyone but Kakashi had offered it, though, you know you would have denied them. Kakashi just had a way about him that you couldn’t deny. “Let’s get out of this water and — and go home.” You hear his breath hitch when you refer to his home as your own, but don’t comment on it. Why would you, when not a word you’d uttered was a lie?
And hell, if the two of you fucked a handful more times around his house before falling asleep for over eleven hours, no one had to know but the two of you.

about the ending I am a FIRM believer of minato-yori lived bc otherwise what's the point. I say this bc yori said when it reached the point of breaking the universe turned back in time to the very beginning, and everything would be reborn. n kore-eda has said that the final scenes depicted them being 'reborn', n though he's talking about the scene where they crawled through the waterway representing rebirth, for me it extended through the consequent scenes showing the joy of acceptance and freedom you can only get by getting reborn—by returning to the beginning. a return to the beginning would be akin to getting a second chance to live, and you can only start over ultimately through forgiveness.
we saw it throughout the climax: hori's regret, hori and the mother's reconciliation, minato's acceptance—these are all forgiveness in some ways, for another persons and for yourself. forgiveness seemed impossible for saori whose anger had been shrugged off and for hori who had almost jumped even and for minato who ruined someone's life for his own safety and so it is something grand, something that's almost a victory won after long, straining battle where everything in your world has piled up into a mess, and so it's fitting that forgiveness is the breaking point allowing everything to go back to the very beginning—allowing rebirth.
the bad end route doesn't satisfy me because it doesn't allow rebirth to fully happen: what kind of second chance the mother and hori will get without minato-yori? it strips the kids away from the very stories that would allow the mother and hori to have a second chance. what kind of second chance minato gets with himself in a world that doesn't bother him, where he could live his life to the fullest anyways? that strips his struggle away from the very story that even allowed him to forgive himself in the first place.
minato-yori dying would leave the stories in the living world empty they would become completely different stories. like you don't get an ending with an afterlife bc nothing happens and nothing would break it's just A Thing and I feel like it would betray the whole movie which has grabbed us by the collar to show the complexities of humans n their social lives. you won't get an ending in the real life either—whatever it was that they have faced, they would have to face it again.
what you only get is a second chance. and that journey, that life, the sheer brutality of it is what I feel makes monster Monster. and you simply can't get it by dying

The main event of the ceremony has begun and everyone in attendance stood up in unison (with the exception of Luis and Sumire who both remained seated) as they watched the bride, the Lady of the Hour, Miho Kobayashi elegantly glide down the aisle where at the end stood her one true love, her very soon to be husband, Tomi Chōten who was looking at her with complete love and pride as he waited for her to join him. A gentle squeeze of her hand reminded her of the person that she was currently holding onto the arm from, Goro gave his pseudo-daughter a proud smile as he led her down the aisle, beforehand, Miho had asked him to, not wanting to go alone and because Goro had been more of a father to her than her actual one had been and there was no one else she wanted to “give her away” so to speak. Goro, who was absolutely honored and even gotten a bit emotional, was more than happy to accept.
It didn’t take long for Miho to make it to the end of the aisle, turning to Goro, the bride and her butler gave each other a warm hug before Goro made his way to his own seat as Miho handed her bouquet to Ritsuko and went to join hands with Tomi. The couple gave each other a loving look as Shisuta, the officiant for the wedding, cleared her throat to begin her speech. “You may be seated.” She addressed the audience who all now took their seats.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, we are gathered here today to celebrate one of life’s greatest moments, and to cherish the words which shall unite Tomi Chōten and Miho Kobayashi in marriage.”
Everyone attentively listened as Shisuta spoke clearly and loudly detailing the love between Miho and Tomi, some people wiping their eyes and sniffling in an attempt to control their emotions making Sumire silently scoff to herself and earning her some glares from the guards that were surrounding her as per orders from the bride and groom. The anarchist sighed and start to impatiently tapped her finger on her stocking clad thigh, mentally screaming at Shisuta to just get it over with already.
After a couple of minutes of giving proper formality (“If anyone wants to object, speak now or forever hold your peace.” Immediately everyone turned to Sumire who just scowled and flipped them all the bird but ultimately said nothing), it was finally time for Tomi and Miho to exchange their vows, after Miho had finished with hers and nearly brought the whole chapel to tears, it was now Tomi’s turn.
And although she did not show any visible reaction, Sumire’s eyes lit up slightly.
“You look as beautiful as the day I first laid eyes on you, my Queen…”
Sumire carefully shifted to sit properly, ignoring the scathing look from the guards.
“I know I said this before, but…a man could spend a lifetime searching for a good thing, and he could never find it.”
Unbeknownst to literally everyone, nobody took notice of the camouflage mechanical spiders that creeped and crawled around and settled themselves all over the venue.
“Either because he wasn’t looking hard enough, or because he wasn’t paying attention…”
A group of smaller spider soldiers crawled onto the guards surrounding Sumire and lied in wait for the moment the signal was given.
“Fortunately for me, my eyes were open when I laid sight on you, my beautiful wife.”
Sumire gripped the underside of her seat and for the first time since this day began, smiled widely, teeth showing and all.
“Words can’t express how I feel about you, and how happy I am that you will be in my life.”
Feeling up a small button on the underside of her chair, the silver eyed girl faintly muttered the phrase that will determined the fate of this wedding.
“My cute friend is a black cat.”
With that, she pressed the button.
“So…thank you, my Queen, and my love.”
It happened in an instant, as Sumire was swallowed up by the trap door that had opened right underneath her seat and disappeared, the screams of the security drowned out the last thing Tomi said as they were electrocuted to the point of passing out. Multiple gasps and screams were heard throughout the room as the wedding abruptly ended and the show was about to begin.
— Outside —
Aranai Norikoru scrolled lazily on her phone as she sat on her beloved Yamaha motorcycle which was running (and had been running for a while now, the pink haired girl made a note to make Sumire pay her some gas money when she sees her) while she waited for her friend to exit the chapel where her friend’s aunt and that slimey bastard Chōten were to be wed.
Unsurprisingly, the only reason why she was even here was to serve as Sumire’s getaway driver when shit inevitably hits the fan, Aranai accepted of course, despite the teasing she did to the anarchist beforehand, she dutifully came to her friend’s aid which lead to her waiting outside right now for any sort of sign of the black and purple haired girl.
Sure enough, speak of the devil and she shall appear, Sumire bursts out of the door and made a mad dash towards the Bōsōzoku with a giant grin on her face, damn near crashing into her but not enough to drive her to the ground, Aranai placed her phone in her pocket as Sumire frantically got on the motorcycle behind her and held onto the pink haired girl tightly. “Drive, fUCKING DRIVE!” She yelled and the chapel doors opened to reveal a few guards that had chased her out of the door, Aranai didn’t need to be told twice as she kicked her motorcycle into gear and the two criminals high tailed it the fuck out of there, laughing like maniacs all the while.

i… really don’t know what to come on here and say about minato shoji coin laundry for this second to last ep. bc i was all prepared after watching the ep to come on and praise it, but after what reading what other people have said (and no, it’s not me just following the crowds or being easily influenced), i feel like i can’t just praise it. bc it made me cry, it made me bawl, it made me feel a lot, all the scenes revisiting their old moments and minato getting the courage to tell shin they were dating and all the times shin called minato cute, it made me sob and also kick my feet bc it was cute and like… that’s the show, cuteness with that underlying emotional weight. and what i was going to say was that i like that the amnesia storyline requires minato to have some more emotional maturity and, and this was even more blatantly shown with the parallel with the letter at the end of the ep, that it essentially puts minato in shin’s place, except there’s some very important differences, those being that shin isn’t just some blushing, insecure man who can’t face his feelings, he’s literally forgotten them, and while all of minato’s behaviour was his own decision and responsibility to make, shin is working from nothing and still being more willing than minato was. and also being that minato doesn’t just have to push away someone in denial of their feelings and stay determined like shin did, there’s actual hard decisions to be made here, bc if shin has forgotten those feelings, he can’t just push him to get them back, or just push him into a relationship anyway without him remembering their past, and while yes there’s nuance to whether shin’s persistence was right despite rejection, there’s a lot more nuance here, and a lot more reason to back away when he’s putting shin in a much more difficult position that shin ever put him in. i see why they wanted the parallel to work, and while i love it for seeing how far minato has come to fight for shin, I just don’t think it does work, bc ultimately it plays into minato’s long standing belief that shin is better off without him, bc now trying to fight for their relationship just makes things hard for shin, and he can believe that stepping away is amicable bc it’s the right thing to do. and that’s the thing, it is, and that’s why it doesn’t work bc the story should be telling minato that it’s right to fight for him.
and then i read @bengiyo and @lurkingshan ‘s posts and i just thought… sigh. you’re right. as much as i don’t want to admit it bc i adore the show so much, and can even see what they’re trying to do, ultimately i shouldn’t go soft on them. and yes i can praise them for what they are doing that’s good, but i can also be endlessly mad and annoyed that this is the ending we got. that we had to show how far minato has come but actually hasn’t come and he was right all along like this, when we didn’t need amnesia and separation and a rehash of their best bits to do that. it’s like nostalgia bait almost, that they have to call back to s1 so directly, even in all the things they did this ep, it’s so telling that none of it was from s2, to elicit an emotional response from me when i could have been bawling my eyes out bc im watching a minato and shin from the end of s2 that have come so far, still having to overcome some really difficult situations. and it’s maddening that this season, after making so much progress, felt like it had to ultimately go all the way back to square one just to milk drama and get its ending, when we should’ve just kept going forward. we could’ve dealt with parents, or coming out to people in the neighbourhood, or an issue at university or at the laundromat. we could have, and this is asking a lot, had a frank look at their approach to intimacy now that they’re living together, and it’s not about seeing them be intimate for the sake of it, it’s the fact that this is a part of their relationship that needs addressing, and they could come to a point where minato says I’m not ready or i don’t want that kind of stuff and I would’ve been so happy bc it would’ve been an actual adult conversation. and while yes im glad they’re not taking this amnesia thing so seriously and making it at least a little fun before it’s just crushing, i kinda resent the idea that you need this big drama for an ending. like sometimes we can just keep having story beats and end on that. the season had been so good for creating these small bits of drama that address the issues in their relationship and help them grow so just keep doing that. we just don’t need it.
so yes, i can still watch it for what it is, but man am I gonna be wistful for what it could’ve been

(I'm sorry for the mistakes) Who, on a scale, is most and least likely to hurt (psychologically or physically) MC?
I'm not really big on Yandere's who physically hurt their darlings so I don't think they'd EVER hurt you of purpose physically. Also this one is difficult LMAOOOO
Most
Hoshi- Hoshi is an asshole. He constantly degrades you and hearing the same negative thing repeated over and over, you might start to believe it. Also with his pranks, he's most likely to hurt you physically, even if he didn't mean it. He's not that higher then Kei, but he's ranked one since he's most likely to hurt you psychologically and physically.
Kei- After that one post where Kei would make multiple accounts to put you down anonymously so you turn to him for comfort, he is so much higher in my mind. He was already extremally manipulative before honestly, I just didn't think about how far I could go with it, but now I know, and boy do I want him to be this ultimate manipulative mastermind. He took psychology, he's going to be a beast at manipulating you. He wants you and there's NOTHING he wouldn't do to have you. He'll kidnap you and manipulate you so that you think he's just doing something good for you, that he's SAVING you. He helps you the most in the entire game, there is a reason why he is the second to last route, because he's such an important character. He knows. He knows EVERYTHING and he uses his knowledge to help you and make you rely on him and only him.
Habiki- Psychologically, I think Habiki would be higher then Hoshi, yet so far away from Kei. Habiki doesn't mind doing his own research on other to try and ruin their relationship with you and doesn't care about your own social status. He'll put you down to feel better about himself. Whether that be insulting words that go deep, or ruining your social life but sticking by your side to boost his own ego so he can say that he's such a good person he stayed by your side.
Yani- I don't think Yani manipulates you at all actually, at least she doesn't TRY to, she has no shame and just flat out tells you things, WHICH SOMEHOW MAKES THIS WORSE FOR YOU! I can't get too into it, but Yani is the most psychologically damaging without needing to even manipulate you.
Haruto- He mainly manipulates you when it comes to other people. Like how he can tell when someone you meet isn't a good person(when in reality he could just not like them getting so close to you) and how he's been right every other time about the people you meet being bad(when he might've just made something up about them that would make you leave them)
Jun- Mainly guilt trips you honestly. She heads back home and just wants to spend time with you but you're over here hanging out with someone like HARUTO?? Like come oooon! give her some attention too before she has to leave for college again and won't be able to see you for so long! She's not really good at any other manipulation tactics, but she gets away with this one cause she's so cute.
Kage- Kage isn't that high just because he struggles speaking to you. He'll kidnap you if it comes down to it and I think if he could speak more he'd be a little bit higher on this list, but he can't and so there's not a lot of manipulative dialogue.
Minato- I don't think he'd ever manipulate you on purpose, I'm sure if he manipulated you it would 100% be an accident and just what he believes is right or the safest option for you.

ObiKonan ask! Canon AU. Post war. Obito and Konan live. They fought to the death, basically. How would they overcome that and get together? Is it even possible?
I hope you know how much I love your ObiKonan asks!
I'd like to tackle a few things before I can get to the ObiKonan part - just to set the foundation of this AU. :)
~~
Alright, so this is definitely a slowburn Enemies to Lovers type of trope.
-Konan would have survived Obito's chokehold and genjutsu after some time, and while she's recovering, she would realize that something is incredibly off about him. The memories of his broken mask that resulted from her ultimate jutsu would make her put 2 and 2 together: Tobi is not the real Madara.
-So we fast-forward to the declaration of war, and then to the Fourth Shinobi World War. Konan makes a very surprising appearance before the mask reveal, and she confirms that he is not the real Madara.
-Konan aids Naruto, Kakashi, and Gai in battling Tobi, who is very surprised to see that Konan survived. Anyways, they fight and fight - then mask reveal happens: Konan is then very shocked to see that the masked man this whole time was someone else - someone who simply roamed with the identity of Madara - and this person bears the name Obito Uchiha.
-Konan would feel enraged by the fact that this man who has scars on his face has fiddled and manipulated her along with Nagato, and potentially catalyzed the death of her love, Yahiko. It turns out that Yahiko's intuition about the masked man they met years ago was correct. Feeling broken by the fact that she played into Obito's game, she falls on her knees in despair. Naturally, Naruto would wake her up with his yelling and talk-no-jutsu, and this sparks Konan's conviction of wanting to fight by Naruto's side.
-As the battle continues, Konan gets to understand more and more of who this Obito Uchiha is, and what his motivations are, and how he is involved with the real Madara Uchiha, the ancestor of the Uchiha Clan, and how he is involved with Kakashi Hatake and Naruto's father.
-That doesn't erase her initial resentment towards him, and after all the scenes that we see in the war, Konan fights against him until he is defeated by Naruto and the alliance, and she is now facing our white-haired DILF who is all broken and paralyzed. She learns more about him, and how Rin's death had broken him, etc.
-Fastforward to the battle with Kaguya, and then the defeat of Kaguya, but this time, Obito also survives. Naruto and Sasuke release the Infinite Tsukuyomi, and everyone is alive, etc. etc. (Note that Konan was captured by the branches of the God Tree and was stuck in her own eternal dream). She witnesses Naruto saying goodbye to his father, Minato, and her heart starts to ache for the boy.
-We move onto their trial, where Konan, Sasuke and Obito are defended by Kakashi and Naruto along with Tsunade. Konan is under house arrest and surveillance, and will not be returning to Amegakure until further notice. Sasuke and Obito would set out together for their journey of redemption.
-Their whole exchange the entire time after the war was cold and silent, with Obito unsure of how to act around Konan, and Konan bearing resentment towards them. So, weeks before Obito and Sasuke would set out for their journey, Obito takes the first step in approaching her - somewhere by a cliff where Konan would be standing, taking in the scenery of the vast forests of The Land of Fire, with little paper cranes gently flying around her.
-Her back would be facing him, while Obito stands a few paces away. Obito breaks the silence, telling her that they can't just keep avoiding each other. Konan scoffs and tells him that it's easier said than done, because thanks to him, her whole life has been nothing but a lie and that he's been laughing at her face for decades.
-Obito tells her that he never forced her to do anything. He never forced her to join him, and that it was her own choice to follow Nagato, who in turn followed him. Konan's paper crane shifts into a kunai, and she immediately fires multiplie paper kunai towards Obito, but it hits the trunk of a tree. Konan is seething with rage as she glares at Obito with unshed tears in her eyes, and she tells him to never speak Nagato's name.
-Obito, unfazed, coldly tells her that she knows it's true. Here, he watches Konan shift and summon her paper wings, and she floats above him. She tells him that she should finish him once and for all, and she could care less what would happen to her because she no longer has anything left to lose, since she's all alone. Obito turns to walk away from her, and he tells her something shocking over his shoulder - "You're not."
-During the absence of Obito and Sasuke, Naruto would usually keep Konan company. Konan doesn't really give face and keeps to herself the entire time she's in Konoha, but she would crack a smile and let loose around Naruto only.
-Eventually, Obito and Sasuke return. Obito seeks out to find Konan once more, and sees her brooding by that cliff. He sits next to her, much to her surprise. Konan doesn't say a word though, and they just spend time like that, in silence. They go on like this for days, where Obito finds Konan, sits with her, and it's just silent, and then he would leave.
-One day, Konan was unable to sleep, and she would roam around Konoha and she would find herself in the cemetery, and she would unexpectedly find Obito kneeling by Rin's grave, silently crying for her. She would conceal herself and watch him, and she would hear the words he's uttering... such as how he wishes she was here, and that he should've just been dead... and he still doesn't understand why he's still alive. This makes Konan's heart tingle in sadness, and she would re-evaluate everything that she's done and thought after she leaves him alone.
-The next time Obito visits and sits next to her, Konan makes a paper crane fly over to his hand, indicating that she means peace. Konan tells him that she will need to take some time to forgive him for everything, but she is not opposed to starting somewhere. She doesn't miss the gentle smile on Obito's face.
-They meet up a few times, and they just start talking. They talk about their regrets, their feelings, their views, and even their hopes. This time, Konan tells him that she wants to know about Obito. Slowly and with a lot of time, Obito tells her about Rin, his lost dream, and how things changed for him. One day, Konan does something that shocks Obito - she vists Rin's grave and offers her silent prayers. This sparks something in Obito's heart, and he finds himself seeking her out even more.
-They start bonding further; Obito takes her around. They go out to quiet restaurants and teahouses. Konan sometimes would visit his humble home, and they'd sit in his balcony and have some tea as they talk about random things, usually about Naruto, where they share light jokes together, etc. Konan starts to slowly open up to him too, and she would smile at him more often, and think about him, and even does things that he likes - such as buying dango to share with him the next time he visits her.
-She talks to him about Yahiko one night, and Obito listens intently. After listening to her describe Yahiko and her love for him, Obito does something bold, which is place his hand over hers, and he'd tell her that he's sorry for everything that went down and that he's gone. He tells her he'd do anything to change everything. Konan then surprises Obito and squeezes his hand, and for the first time ever, she tells him that she forgives him.
~~
I could go on with this, and yes, they do eventually end up together, but a Postwar AU would make it a rather slow development. :)
(Long story short, they'd technically get together after going on missions and after a few sessions of sparring together, their sexual tension would be released XDD)
I hope you enjoyed this take, though! <3

It's my honest opinion that Danzo didn't actually do a lot of the things he did for the village, as he claimed. He liked to tell himself that, sure, but I believe that was just a lie he told himself to justify to himself his own actions. I think that ultimately, whether he was honest with himself about it or not, he did those things for the benefit of his own ambitions, or just to be petty. When viewed in that light, I think Danzo's decisions ultimately make more sense, though they make one hate him more too.
In essence, I see Danzo as a resentful, jealous, petty cockroach of a man that subconsciously acted on those emotions while convincing himself that his actions were for "the greater good of Konoha". And to further convince himself that it wasn't his own petty emotions ruling his actions, he created the Root with the creed of not allowing its members to engage with their own emotions.
That's sort of the irony of his character; Danzo preached distance and suppression of one's emotions in order to carry out the mission, but was ultimately ruled by them under the surface because of his refusal to grapple with them honestly. You can't truly act outside of your emotions if you aren't aware of what they even are, afterall.
Let's look at some of his actions. Hiruzen was chosen as the 3rd hokage over him, and what did Danzo do? He created an entire shadow organization that carried out sabotage missions, assasinations and such that even the regular anbu were not privy to.
Hiruzen didn't want to pursue damages from other villages after the 3rd Shinobi war ended, because he didn't want any further conflict to break out needlessly. It was Danzo that pushed for the pursuance of damages more than anyone else, and as a result Hiruzen had to step down and take the blame onto himself. It's probably not a coincidence that Danzo's insistence resulted in the hokage spot he had wanted for literally decades being open, giving him the opportunity to possibly take over.
When Minato was chosen as the 4th Hokage, he was furious. Danzo also happened to be the man that leaked the information a few years after that incident, that Naruto had the 9-tails sealed inside him, conveniently leaving out the fact that Minato was his father and that Minato had wished for the village to see Naruto as a hero for taking on the burden of the 9-tails. Uniting the village wasn't the reason, and I'll get into why it isn't, further down. I believe he did so because he was still resentful towards Minato for not only becoming the 4th hokage instead of him, much like Hiruzen did before, and with Minato and Kushina both being dead, Naruto was the next closest person he could lash out against.
In the immediate aftermath of the 9-tails attack, Danzo helped spread rumors that the Uchiha were behind it, despite knowing the fact that they wanted to join but were ordered not to, including by himself. Why? That certainly wasn't for unity. There's nothing unifying about driving a wedge between Konoha and one of it's oldest, and most powerful clans, especially when that clan runs the ninja police force that kept the day to day peace in the village. That's why I call bullshit on the reasoning for revealing the secret about Naruto being unifying everyone against Naruto in their hate and distrust. He wasn't concerned about unity in the immediate aftermath of the incident at all, in fact he did what he could to destroy said unity.
So what then was his reason for spreading those rumors that the Uchiha were behind the attacks? And I don't know for sure, but we do know he lusted after and was jealous of their power. It could've been sheer resentment of the power they had and he didn't have. Or maybe from the very beginning he wanted to plant the seeds for the Uchiha to attempt to rebel so that Konoha would have a reason to crush them, giving him the chance to steal all those Sharingan eyes. I don't know. But it certainly wasn't for "unity".
Several years later, when the Uchiha understandably got so tired and pissed at being treated like shit becquse of those suspicions, and started planning a coup d'etat, he sabotaged Itachi and Shisui's plans for stopping the coup in a bloodless manner (by way of using Shisui's Koto Amatsukami on Itachi's father and the clan head Fugaku during a clan meeting). Danzo had one of his root agents of Aburame descent fatally poison/paralyze Shisui with insect venom, and then stole one of Shisui's eyes right out of his skull, and would've taken the other if the pain and shock hadn't allowed Shisui to overcome the paralysis of the poison. He justified this by saying Shisui's power would be better off in his hands than used on such a gamble. But we don't know that Shisui's idea couldn't have worked. Fugaku was the clan head, and held a lot of respect. Which leads me to believe that while Danzo may have told himself it wouldn't have worked anyway, ultimately he just wanted an excuse to steal Shisui's eyes.
When it became clear that Shisui's death prevented that route from being taken, Hiruzen wanted to try to enter into dialogues with them directly. What did Danzo do? He wnet behind Hiruzen's back and basically convinced Itachi that either he kills the entire clan besides Sasuke so that Sasuke at least can live, or he lets the coup take place, and EVERY Uchiha including Sasuke would die. This resulted in the Uchiha massacre, and "coincidentally" allowed Danzo to obtain a ton more extra Sharingan for that Hashirama cell arm of his.
Lastly, there's the fact that he and his root members stood by and did nothing during the Pain assault. Afaik it's literally stated that he did this to make Tsunade look incompetent, so that he could take her place as 6th Hokage.
Point is to all of this, I believe Danzo was an incredibly selfish, jealous and petty man who did everything he could to convince himself it was for the good of his village. He was ultimately ruled by his base desires, because he didn't have the emotional awareness or honesty with himself to grapple with his own emotions.

Just had to get this off my chest but I just rewatched episode 12 and when I tell you the tears would NOT stop flowing like I have the nastiest headache right now I can’t believe myself?? There’s just. There was so much going on there like the fact that I realised I actually like tsuge and his character like his friendship with adachi is so solid and I realised that the conversation he had with him in the cafe, was exactly what he kinda should have had with kurosawa? (Like yeah they do eventually on the rooftop) but like that reassurance that the magic wasn’t what would make their relationship stable it was them actually just communicating with each other and getting to learn abt e/o that way, mistakes included like OOF I thought it was really nice cause it had the romantic aspect with him and kurosawa, but also him realising that it applies for any relationship including his friendships with people too I just. Man I love how they placed so much importance and value on all kinds of relationships with people you come across in life :( AND THEN the rooftop scene oh jeez,,, something funny I always wondered about was how long adachi was riding that bike cause we went from broad daylight to nighttime but ANYWAY can I just say hearing kurosawa say ‘adachi?’ In that soft, unsure voice as though he couldn’t believe his eyes felt like m*rder I had to pause and collect myself . also can I just say I forgot. How tender that entire scene is like that’s when I truly broke down because Are They Insane. What do you mean they have an entire conversation with kurosawa literally cradling the back of adachi’s head and there’s a moment there where he re-adjusts his hand and closes his eyes to breathe and naina I- I’m losing my mind why,, why did they have to invent gentle intimacy like that WHY? Okay lemme stop myself because I’m realising I could talk about that scene for 10 hours straight but can we seriously focus on the fact that even though they literally broke up kurosawa was ready to essentially propose if adachi somehow still showed up for their date. Like the levels to that make my head spin and i’m not even gonna touch on the fact that adachi immediately starts crying after that cause I will lay down and never get up like it probably set in again that the love kurosawa has for him is unconditional and like he just mentioned that he couldn’t possibly fathom anyone else having his heart apart from adachi like oh…. I’m so sorry this is unbelievably long but lastly I just wanna say that I know for sure they were called in the next day after kissing in the lift for a meeting with hr
1) do not apologize ever . actually u should send me more of these i need to read all of them ur thoughts are like tasty treats for my brain
2) honestly i thought i had nothing to add but actually i remembered a detail ive seen literally no one talk about that makes me so insane . so u remember how tsuge mentions that minato heard from rokkaku about krdc being off at work and thats why tsuge came to talk to adachi and ultimately gave him the push to go see kurosawa. Like?? rokkaku being that worried about his seniors who he cares about So Much is the One Single Reason krdc even met again that day .???? and then him and fujisaki doing their own fireworks show just to maybe make "someone feel happier" ouughghfgghhh ,, ,. rokkaku ultimate protector of the gays i love he.........
3) also tiny detail during the bit where adachi says he regrets it and hes being all self-deprecating and u can See kurosawa shaking his head not wanting adachi to talk about himself like that. whhwt .. why. who thought. w. hey ?? did they think about me?????? when they wrote that????????? Huh??????????????????????
4) why would u remind me of the head cradle i feel sick i .. i have to watch the scene 10 times again excuse me
5) again. the fact that kurosawa considered an Actual Miracle that adachi would show up and probably believed it wouldnt happen but he bought the pens anyway . and he knew adachi would be too embarrassed about rings. head in hands i cannot , fucking do this this show makes me so Unwell!!!!! Its Fucked UP !!!!!!!!!

Shipping Questions for the Mun - Accepting!
Tumblr media
what’s the best thing about shipping for you?
The best thing about writing ships is all the various ways muses get from point A to point B, and then beyond Point B.
Point A is the start: whether muses are strangers, long-term friends, rivals, etc., this is the point the romantic story begins, whether the muses and muns know it or not (sometimes, you don't know as a mun that the muses are starting something until you're already writing it!).
Point B is in RP, generally, the two big reveals: opening up physically and emotionally. As to the order, they can switch depending on the muse and situation, but ultimately this would be a point in a romance novel where, after several highs and lows, the muses have admitted romantic feelings to one another and enter some sort of relationship.
Beyond Point B is the life they embark upon after that, and what's often left out of a Hallmark and/or Disney movie. Can they sustain a relationship? Do other life factors get in the way? Does the relationship bring out the best or worst in them? What other in-character drama can crop up in-between those fluffy, slice-of-life scenes that the muses have to figure out in order to keep ahold of their happiness, or decide to let it go? A good example is the ship I've got going with @dxfiedfxte's Minato: they're in a romantic relationship, but due to his choice of profession, Sonia has yet to introduce him to her family or make their relationship public because they won't approve. And it's beginning to wear on them both.
All of that is why I love writing romantic ships. It's sweet, it's emotional, it's painful, it's sexy, it's funny, it's life-changing. Because it's the people you enter relationships with, romantic, familial, platonic, and so forth, that really shape someone's life.
do you have a pet peeve when it comes to shipping?
Beyond rushing from point A to point B in the description above, what truly bothers me is a lack of communication from the other mun, especially when they aren't happy with how a ship is going.
Overall, I'm pretty simple to ship with once it's been plotted out and there's been proper lead up to it/the ship feels earned. I feel inspired when others reply to threads, and if there's nothing active going on, sending new prompts, plotting, or just spitballing 'what if?' ideas for the ship.
What tends to kill my passion for a ship are muns who just don't reply to threads...ever, and don't communicate that they're bored of my muse, the ship, etc. I'd rather just be told that someone wants to break a ship and not write it anymore than be led on. Or if they'd rather plot out what the muses will encounter next, even better! As much as I like writing fluff, I like being able to write conflict into even the happiest of relationships. Like Sonia, I'm not much for a 'they lived happily ever after' sort of ending for muses after they've admitted feelings for each other/became a romantic couple/get engaged/get married/etc.
The more they have to keep growing as individuals and with each other, the better.
do you prefer fast plots, pre-established relationships or slow burns?
Slow-burns. Slow-burns always, but especially on this blog. Asking for fast plots and/or pre-established romantic ships with Sonia is one of the quickest ways for me to not want to write a ship with you.
One, she's not a quick ship sort of muse: Sonia is actually pretty hard to start a romantic relationship with. And two, I generally just like relationships to feel earned. If it did move quickly, I think there would be a higher chance that the romantic ship is more superficial than genuine.
how does your muse handle breakups?
On the surface and in front of most people: very well. Sonia looks rested, focused, determined to move her life forward the best she can because she really has no other choice. Her own personal problems are always second, or third, or even lower in comparison to being a princess. It's disgraceful in her family to be nursing a broken heart.
In reality: Pretty fucking awful, especially if she's the one being broken up with. Considering Sonia will try to make a negative situation positive whenever she can (fixing things, and leadership, are pretty much her future), she's often the one who's dumped. You can bet there will be some combination of the following: poor eating habits/forgetting to eat entirely, not leaving her room/home for awhile unless she has to, leaning on friends/eventually forcing herself to go out with friends (provided they won't discourage her unhealthy self-soothing methods), actually getting drunk to the point of passing out (this is a feat for Sonia considering her alcohol tolerance. It's also horrible for her liver), anti-depressants, some recreational drugs, preoccupation with hobbies and other things that are supposed to make her feel good.
In her high school days, it's usually Chiaki (and maybe Sayaka) who has really seen Sonia be an absolute mess. In her adult years, it's often her cousins who look after her as they're old enough to, care about her like a sister, and feel indebted to her for how much she shielded them from the various abusive behaviors in the Royal Family.
What she doesn't usually do: see a mental health professional, actually admit how much she's hurting, decide to make her ex's life a living hell, intentionally blasting her best/revenge life on social media (though that sometimes happens, especially if her family intervenes), or have one-night stands/an immediate new relationship/fuck the first person who volunteers. Admitting she needs help is, again, shameful in her family, and Sonia would much rather destroy herself than take out her anger on, or hurt, someone else.
Remnant of Despair aside, of course. That bitch is horrible.

ok i got bored and mentally obsessed with sengen so everyone welcome my first fanfiction in years:
in which Senku feels nostalgic for the first time in years and love makes him do a silly mindless thing
this is not proofread + no real warnings methinks, besides Dr Stone S3 spoilers and some hcs for the future cast. your only content warning is some Sengen or Gensen (Senku x Gen), but can be interpreted in either platonic or romantic love.
Cola Advertisement
It’s late out. Very late. Might even be 2am. Senku is too lazy to check his watch, though.
He wanders the streets of the rebuilt Minato City, partially headed in the direction of his home, partially willing to let any distraction lead him a different way. It had been a long day of continuing his many various research projects with Chrome, who’d left earlier. He’s got a pregnant wife after all, can’t spend all his hours at the lab with Senku. He’d asked Senku if he’d like to join them for dinner, as Ruri would likely be happy to see him. He declined however, his mind elsewhere.
He was sure Chrome had only invited him because of how out of it he had seemed today.
Senku tilted his head upwards, gazing at the endless starry expanse, somewhat blocked by tall, concrete towers and drowned out by glowing fluorescent light. It was done. It had been done for some time. Humanity was restored, there was no more work to do, and it had been five long years since the end of it all. Senku didn’t like to admit it, but at the end, he’d felt satisfied, but the impending threat of uncertainty had loomed behind him for long enough, and he had to accept it at this point. He’d love to admit that he had not a millimeter of interest in processing his own feelings, preferring to distract himself with science, but today, even science hadn’t done the job. He sighed and kicked a stray pebble, frustrated at his own feelings. Who could he even talk to about this, if he even wanted to?
Taiju would be understanding, but he also wouldn’t quite get it. The big oaf had other responsibilities now, and Senku wouldn’t care to pester him with something as trivial as this. Kohaku was an option, but she had better things to do, being the owner of her own dojo and all. Besides, she was simply glad to see the former glory she’d been born outside of. She wouldn’t understand the loss Senku felt. Tsukasa might, but he had his little sister to care for. He considered Tsukasa a close friend all the same, and he might even get where Senku’s coming from, but Tsukasa missed out on quite a bit of the excitement. Maybe he wasn’t the best idea, after all. Chrome was an option, too, but he was probably sleeping by now. He couldn’t bring himself to contact him, not when all his sleep would be taken up by a screaming infant in less than three months.
Senku sighed again, running a hand through his hair. Thinking about this was pointless. Feeling this way was pointless. It would ultimately get him nowhere, because there was nothing to be done about it. If anything, he should be pleased. Humanity saved, Whyman defeated, society back to how it was before. People living out their lives, time passing by in the blink of an eye, everything wrong and right with the world back into place. This was what he wanted, wasn’t it? Yes, this was what he wanted. But if this was what he wanted, why was there this emptiness present in his chest? What was missing?
He felt sick, nausea rumbling through his body all at once. He gritted his teeth and kept walking, swallowing the feeling away. He didn’t have time for this.
He started walking faster, with more purpose. He was going to head straight home and go straight to bed, disregard any of his feelings and just sleep them off. Surely he’d be fine come morning, and everything would be normal again. Science would do just the trick to distract him, he’d do his work with a bounce in his step, and he’d smile without feeling the need to purposely crinkle his eyes to make it look real.
His steps became smaller and hurried, his eyebrows began to knit together in a frown, and his fingers curled into fists. Feeling this way was ridiculous. Yet, no matter how many times he thought that, the feeling refused to go away. It stayed, no matter how tightly he dug his nails into his palms, no matter how roughly he bit his lip, no matter how quickly he drove his legs to walk him home. All at once, his body seems to release, and he exhales, suddenly stopping his pace. He looks down at the ground, examining the red marks in his palms from his nails. He sighs yet again, slowly getting sick of all this sighing, and continues on his way, relaxed pace reclaimed. Anger and frustration was no way to go about this. Remaining calm was his best bet.
He walks near a TV advertisement screen embedded into the wall near a shopping plaza. He spots something familiar on the cover. It’s the picture Minami took of him in the stone age, several years ago. His tongue was out, in the classic pose Albert Eistein took. Next to the image were big words that read: “Come to Ishigami Museum, and get to see the first picture taken since the rebirth of the stone age, and the camera it was taken with!”. His mind took him back to that moment, where they had him pose in various clothes and stances, before they finally settled on an appropriate one, and he simply stuck his tongue out. He exhaled, a light chuckle following it. A smile grew on his face, and his eyes softened. Perhaps feeling this way wasn’t so bad if it made the nostalgia this sweet.
The screen changes, showing a new advertisement. This one was for Ryuusui’s three-star Michelin restaurant, led by Francois. The advertisement read: “Feeling Greedy? Stop by Ryuusui’s Greed, three-star Michelin restaurant to fulfill all your desires!”. Senku couldn’t repress a smirk this time, reminiscing on the most greedy man in the world, and how he helped rebuild humanity. He’d been incredibly useful in navigating the seas and the skies, and his greed only further spurred him on to completion of the rebuild of society. Francois was also incredibly useful. Nobody quite made bread like them, or any foods like them for that matter. Their dedication to hospitality and feeding greed made them just as useful an asset. Senku let the smirk slowly reduce to a soft smile, ignoring the feeling of his heart swelling. Nostalgia was sweet, but if he kept thinking, he’d keep remembering.
Again the screen changes, flicking to another advertisement. It was a ramen advertisement, with Ganen, one of the previous Ishigami villagers, enjoying a large bowl of ramen with a pleased smile on his face. The advertisement read: “NEW Special Spicy Ganen’s Favorite Ramen! Available at most grocery stores!”. This took him back, too, to when he’d made ramen for the villagers for the first time. In his mouth, it was crumbly and bland, but to them, it was like ambrosia. A faint smile arrives on his face as he remembers the expressions and awe of the villagers at the mystery food, amazed that a single man could complete such a feat. Really, it had been nothing at the time, but it was still pleasing to know that the villagers would no longer have to feast on nothing but fish. This nostalgia was oddly sweet too, but he felt a pang in his chest when the ramen reminded him of his first meeting with a… particular character.
As though reading his mind, the screen changes, the next advertisement a beautiful glaring red, and sporting the visage of said particular character, happily smiling and holding a cola. He’d recognize this person anywhere, even from miles away; the split dye, the lavender coat, the twisted smile, and the curved stone scar. Asagiri Gen. His “dear” mentalist. All at once, fondness and regret seem to swallow him whole. His heart swelled and at the same time, his stomach sank. A wide smile spread on his face before he could stop it, and at the same time, his eyes burned with liquid emotion. Of course. Of course, he’d be on a Cola ad. He swallows thickly, gazing at the advertisement, blinking his emotion away. Five years. It’d been five long years. He’d done everything to bite his tongue and forget about losing contact with some people, letting the regret turn into fuel to keep him pressing on through his experiments. Love was ten billion percent pointless, and he’d had not a millimeter of interest in it… It only brought mindless decisions, after all. And yet… Senku still experienced love all the same, like when he’d babysit Suika for Kohaku, and when he’d visit Taiju and Yuzuriha for nothing more than saying hello, and when he’d have long reminiscent talks with Tsukasa, further rambling about science to him as Mirai watched with rapt attention. He’d lost contact with a few people, but somehow, the most painful by far was Asagiri Gen, no matter how little he liked to admit that. He’d had a TV show to run and fame to fuel, so his schedule was always taken up by work. And Senku had to throw himself into new science projects in efforts to fill the empty void that loomed once humanity had been rebuilt. They went their separate ways, and now he’s here. Standing in front of an ad screen, staring longingly at the figure within, trying to pinpoint the reason his heart swells with pride and affection and why his stomach drops with regret.
He knew from the moment Gen had mentioned cola that, one day, Senku would have to make some just for him. It was partially obvious, but something in his mind clicked. He just knew. Cola had to be the next step. He knew, when Gen came to him excitedly about the fizzy water, he was expecting Cola. And he couldn’t help but tease him just a little bit, showing how it’d be used for baking soda instead. He’d long since had the cola prepared, just for him, and made sure to put it somewhere where he’d obviously see it. He smiled fondly at the memory, partially wishing he’d seen Gen’s expression when he saw the Cola. Then, he’s reminded of the gift Gen got him in return. An observatory and telescope, just for him. Above and beyond, that guy.
Senku remembers how Gen was with him almost every step of the way, even staying when things went south. “Most shallow man” my ass. The trust he put in Senku was enormous, and Senku had an equally large amount of trust in Gen. Perhaps more than just trust. Far, far more than simple trust.
Love leads to mindless decisions.
Perhaps this is why he comes to the conclusion that, if anyone is awake and available to talk to him and would fully, completely understand where he’s coming from, it’d be Asagiri Gen. Perhaps this is why he searches in his phone for Gen’s old number, hoping against all hope that he’d pick up the call. Perhaps this is why his hands shake as he presses the call button. Perhaps this is why his palms sweat as he holds the phone in his hand, listening to it ring. Perhaps this is why his heart thuds in his chest, echoing in his ears, louder than the ringing of the phone. Perhaps this is why his heart stops when the ringing stops and a familiar voice speaks in a shaky, yet giddy voice.
“S-Senku-chan!?” He can hear the shock in the other man’s voice, and is overwhelmed with emotion. He doesn’t know whether to laugh or to cry. He clenches his hand in a fist, staring directly at Gen’s face on the advertisement.
When he responds, he surprises himself at how soft and affectionate his own voice sounds. A tear rolls down his cheek.
“Hey, Gen.”

'Boruto' series re-envisioned
tw. opinions (and the wording is all over a mess so read at your own risk), plot-bashing (is that even a thing?)
[This is my opinion on what Boruto, as a sequel to one of the greatest Shounen franchises should have been. Remember, this is entirely my wishful thinking and I don't mean to disrespect any of the writers, animators or the fandom.]
Tumblr media
Boruto, as an MC, had immense potential. This point has been chanted to the ground but it is true. He is a third gen Uzumaki and second gen Hyūga. And we all know Uzumaki have monstrous chakra reserves. What he needed was to work hard for it. Where was the training arc?
Think about it. We never got much backstrory about the Uzumaki clan and what their motives and morals were. It would have been cool to see another character use the chakra chains (beside Kushina and Karin). He could have explored Uzushio, the plot could've called for contacting the remaining Uzumaki who supposedly scattered all over the globe.
Maybe Boruto could have worked with seals? Minato, his grandpa, is known as one of the greatest seal masters. If the writers were going for symbolism, why not use that?
Same goes for his Hyūga lineage. We get so much info about the Uchiha in Naruto, it could have been refreshing to see the Boruto lore delve into the Hyūga faction, which isarguably the third (or even the second, not counting the Senju) strongest clan in Konoha.
Think of all the jutsu Boruto could have had in his arsanel with a Byakugan. It's hightime they get the deserved recognition.
Coming to another member of Team 7, Mitsuki is a clever character idea but ultimately wasted postential as well.
If the power scaling continues to get upped in the pace as it is now, there will be nothing left for the Time Skip. Shippuden gave us Sage Mode but Mitsuki already has that. Viewers will look for something new and we all know even Kishimoto wrote himself up a wall with Rinnegan and the Otsutsuki race. What will Ikemoto give then?
Speaking of Otsutsuki, it was sort of dissapointing to see them getting introduced this fast. Some will say Boruto is slow paced and yes, I agree, but in terms of keeping that air of anonymity, it fails terribly.
It would have worked better if instead of Momoshiki landing like a bug out a tree, they got clues and rumors instead.
The whole Code and Kara situation should've been handled first and then led to the reveal of an Otsutsuki nest, perhaps?
Or a portal like the one in Last to a mirror dimension or somthing where the Otsutsuki live? Maybe a dive into how they came to be? It is revealed that humans are an entirely different race and what we see of the Naruto cast are a mix between Otsutsuki and humans.
Also, WHERE IS THE BACKSTORY? Same thing with Hyūgas really. The Hamura thing came out of nowhere. The Last is a below average excuse to tie up loose ends.
Now, Kawaki, I have a love-hate relationship with him. On one hand his backstory provides the perfect intro to post-war tragedies (and a hc of mine that smaller villages in the outskirts still get ignored in favour of the capitals)
But he just feels like a dollar-store Sasuke. As if the writers were like, oh Boruto needs a rival? Add in an angsty guy to contrast his sunny demeanor. I know this is a recurring trope in shounen but it works because it is handled well.
And people say Boruto is handed everything on a silver platter? Kawaki basically lives with the freaking Head of the Village, the elite of the elites, is looked after by the former heir to the Hyūga and gets to be a genin because he has a cool explody power? And all that why? Because he is a mistreated orphan? (what about the kids who lost their parents in the war? what about aforementioned kids in small-sized villages? what about cases like sumire? what makes Kawaki SPECIAL, naruto?)
Kawaki shouldn't have been given any of those benifits. Let him figure out how the world works, let him make mistakes, show his potential as a good guy, let him prove himself as a character worth stanning. Give him a serious politics-based arc explaining that part of the Boruto era rather than some murderers chasing a boy with some magical cure.
Coming to the side characters (yes, I'm saving Sarada for later and there is a reason behind it), let's start with Shikadai. First thought, he is the most carbon-copied version of his dad out of every next gen character.
It's no news that scenarios and often characters revered as prodigies are dumbed down to make him shine but imo most of it is owed to the factor that there is no element of suspense or an ultimatum for that matter.
Kakashi, Minato, Itachi, Orochimaru, Shisui worked as prodigal characters because of the situation. It was war time and kids were forced to grow up. The stakes were high and even then, the plot revolving around them was such that it made them raise the bar higher.
Shikadai seems flat compared to many characters. Remember, Shikamaru was not called a prodigy, he even flunked tests because he was too lazy, but whenever the situation was tense, us viewers could count on his snippets of thoughts for a clarification, or little behaviors to show he realized and often times refused to work for what is right over what is needed because that is smartness, taking a level-headed decision with the least collateral.
On the other hand, Shikadai is fed information and he just 'explains' stuff like a NPC.
I can't help but think, what if Shikadai inherited Temari's temper? Mix that with Shikamaru's actual genius (not the baby puzzle-solving we see in that one arc with Kakashi) and he could be one of the team members to look for clue about the Otsutsuki's existence. Also, I'd like more windstyle-user Shikadai plz.
Moving on to Inojin. He is also one of those characters that I neither like nor dislike. He's just... there.
What Boruto needs is better world-building and ain't no better way to accomplish that than exploring side characters. Inojin doesn't have an affinity for the Yamanaka mind-body-switch so make him train for other stuff.
Let viewers know where jutsu like that stems from (yin and yang release), give him some productive time with the border patrol, stress on the fact that Konoha's citizen don't go to sleep at peace just knowing Naruto will pull some god-level jutsu.
The Yamanaka are an extremely important part of the security system. Remember how Inoichi was part of the team figuring out Pain's black chakra recievers? Make Inojin do something similar with, perhaps some Otsutsuki relic or remains (going with the mystery au)
Then comes Chocho. How to put it simply? At first I despised her. And no, it has nothing to do with her appearance. Actually, I find her and that new girl from the recent Labyrinth Game arc, Batta, amazing.
The fact lies with her attitude. Tell me one attribute that comes to mind while thinking of her other than Butterfly mode and eating chips. Sure, she loves to eat, we get it. The fact again boils down to her falling flat as a character.
Chocho could use her lightning release in many ways and it must be strong too, considering her mother comes from Kiri. She could have earth-release, that would be great to see as none of the main cast prior to this have that.
And if they are going for a Ino-like character, let the girl have some reality to her. A twelve-year old girl is far mature and has other troubles than just thinking about cute boys and girls.
She can retain that aspect but make her serious when it comes to missions, or her family, show her spending time partaking in her hobbies that do not include eating, ogling at movie stars and muttering un-funny jokes and inuendos. Give her depth, for a lack of better words.
And for Hagoromo's sake, LET THESE KIDS HAVE SOME SORT OF GOAL and not just exist because their parents hooked up smh.
Last but not least, Sarada. I, like many others, really like her character. She isn't yet another girl who despises anything remotely 'girly' and is not afraid to show her emotions and voice her thoughts loud and clear. She is practical and relatively smart without being an overkill.
What bugs me is her very existence.
No, I do not want to get roped into a 'sasusaku : good or bad' debate but they just don't make sense to me. And this is coming from someone whose first anime ship as a ten-year-old was sasusaku.
In any case, Naruto (not citing the last few chapters) made it clear that Sasuke did not see Sakura nor Karin as a romantic interest. And honestly, I still am onboard with him being an aro ace because, hello representation!
And whatever happened behind the scenes post The Last are only headcanons, so the idea of Sasuke suddenly marrying Sakura seems a stretch to me. Let alone him having a kid who he suddenly cares so much about after ignoring her for twelve years...(coming to the problem of 'as to why he did that anyway' later)
Sarada, in my opinion, should not exist.
Like, okay, Naruto has a kid but why should Sasuke as well because of that? PTSD is a thing and we are repeatedly shown that Sasuke has grown a fear of familial bonds due to obvious reasons.
If we calculate their ages, the new gen was born sometime when they were 20-23 y/o. Yeah, I'm willing to bet Sasuke did not get past that nagging anxiety of eighteen years in just three or four.
If they wanted to make Sasuke the mysterious sensei figure who is rarely in town and is always going in these crazy amazing solo missions, don't make him a deadbeat dad. Come onnn...
Canon!Sasuke would never just abandon his wife and child for the sake of the village that ruined his family (again, trust issues), the village that he saw ab*sing a child because of something out of his control (who's to say Sarada was not picked on and scrutinized because she is a former nuke-nin's kid and an Uchiha like Naruto was due to Kurama?)
Instead, Sasuke should have just been a traveller. He should still be wandering the nations to find his way in life, being someone beyond an Uchiha and escaping the burden that was placed on his shoulders at a very young age.
You know how I keep mentioning the small villages that probably get ignored? Show him helping them, him cleaning up traces of corrupted organizations like in the last few episodes of the anime.
Show his kinder, softer side in a believable way (not the comic relief that Boruto provides), show us him seeing the beauty in life and finding a reason to live.
The Sasuke we see now just feels like an empty shell. I remember seeing a post the other day saying that he showed genuine emotions in Shippuden but now he looks like he has lost all motivation to even stay alive. And he was definitely guilt-tripped into returning to Konoha.
Yes, that would mean Sakura would remain either unmarried or marry some no-name character. Though, that seems unlikely as her pining over Sasuke eliminated all chance of relationship progress with any other character.
It would be refreshing to see her let go of her childhood crush and just moving on, leaving behind the last link to a Sakura she did not accept, the one she changed. I don't mind having an episode dedicated to them having a heart-to-heart as good old pals, all romantic feelings aside.
Maybe on that bench too, if you get what I mean. It would show us how far they have come, as shinobi, as Konoha's ninja and as people, from naïve kids to being the village's pillars.
Now, as to what the overall plot of Boruto should be, I have this idea of the war still going on when Naruto ends. Just hear me out.
If Ikemoto wants to resolve the Otsutsuki matters in this series, why not begin it with an intense fight scene where the generations following the main cast (Konohamaru and the rest) are fighting some low rank entities who serve the Otsutsuki.
It could lead to multiple of these strange class of aliens attacking from portals like ones the Rinnegan creates and base the entire series as a survival genre. Not only would that raise the stakes from being a one-episode conflict resolve, as it is now, it would mean the generation in the middle would become hardened veterans who the kids could look up to, not cannon fodder.
Make the prior war times return, but this time with an unknown race altogether. Make rifts between the Alliance, comment on how that affects the social and economical standings of various nations, involve the Daimyo.
Naruto can still be the all-powerful Hokage but make the rest of the caste equally useful.
Another idea that just popped up while writing this: what if they made mosters like in the Worm series appear? That threaten the world and some villages are forced to break the truce as they believe some ancient jutsu caused these attacks but cannot figure out from which nation.
Not even jutsu, it can be scientific modelling too since the Boruto era are scientifically far advanced.
Maybe I'm just reaching but with the huge power scaling like they have done, the stakes actually need to be high. Or else, every situation that they come across, we know they will get through it because of high rank jutsu they possess.
And for the last issue, just 'Boruto'. As in, the name. I'm aware it is supposed to be an homage to Neji but it feels so rip-off. There are so many good ones like : Hiro(for its irony as he is to be a hero and it starts with 'H'), Akihiro (personal favorite, means bright), Kaito (means ocean, an homage to the land of whirlpools), Asahi (mirror's Hinata's name meaning which is sun), Shinya (genuine, personal favorite), etc. etc.
Tumblr media
A/N : That is it for this part. I can make another as I have ideas just buzzing in my mind and no time to turn them into fanfiction. Let me know if you enjoyed these and feel free to PM or reblog adding your own ideas too!
Also, anyone wanna be friends? 😅 I really want to rant about Naruto with someone and none of my friends watch enough anime to even comprehend what I'm saying most times.

“1 mil for you already, huh?” Reiaki hummed as she scanned through the dead pool.
The Black Cat of Minato and Hex 13 had been seated comfortably on the couch located in the middle of the Queen Card’s office, reviewing the price that represented their own bounties.
The Queen, from her office desk, only chuckled and waved her hand dismissively. “The price of my death? It matters not. Utter nonsense, it is.”
Miku raised a brow. “You knew this was coming, didn’t you?”
Queen Card smiled and gracefully rose from her seat. “And what does it matter. Whether it is one million or one hundred million? Who would dare come after my head? All who know mine name would never commit such treason.”
Through the digital screen behind her mask , the Queen’s line of sight travelled back and forth between Reiaki and Miku as she slowly walked towards them.
You two, on the other hand, are rather composed.
Reiaki-chan, you have been targeted ever since you were born and you’ve seen just about everything.
Miku-chan, you were an ordinary girl who had been done wrong by the wrong crowd.
She paused, standing right before them, staring right down at the women from her height.
She stopped herself from making any other moves.
Calm yourself…
These are old bounties from previous attempts on their lives…
How incredibly frustrating…
Ideally, I would prefer it didn’t have to come to this.
This is necessary…
But I still do not find this pleasant by any means…
“Reiaki-chan, Miku-chan,” Queen Card said slowly. “Perhaps you’ve heard this tale before. From here on out, the stakes will be raised exponentially.”
She crossed her arms. “For what I will have you two do, somewhere down the line… or perhaps sometime in the near future… your lives may be truly on the line. Your names will be known more than they have been before and more enemies will come running to claim your lives as soon as they get the chance.”
Reiaki and Miku took a second to glance at each other, allowing the Queen’s words to sink in.
The blonde woman bursted into a fit of laughter, throwing her head back, gripping onto her stomach and all. “You kidding?! We knew all that already!”
“This is what we signed up for,” Miku said as she stood up from the couch. “If we stay here and do nothing, we’ll all be dead.”
“We’re trusting you with our lives here,” Reiaki said, also getting up from the couch. “You just instruct us on what to do.” She judged the Queen’s arm in a mischievous manner. “After all, we know more than anybody, that you wouldn’t let us die, right?”
The corners of Queen Card’s lips lifted into a proper smile. “You two truly know just the words to put even Her Majesty the Queen Card in her place… Very well, then. Does not matter how much higher the bounty goes, it is my role to ensure your survival through it all.”
Reiaki and Miku returned her determination.
The Queen turned away from her teammates and approached the floor-to-ceiling window, tossing the ends of her cloak over her shoulder.
Through it, she could view all of Minato Division.
And just a few kilometers away from her own headquarters was the wall that surrounded the Chuohku division, where the Party of Words resided.
That’s right.
It’ll all be worth it…
“I will take the ultimate glory. No matter who gets in the way or what the price is.”
“And that glory that I speak of…”
“Is you, right over there…”
Division Rap Battle Dead Pool
Do not ask me what this is and why I am posting it, this is yet another product of the insanity that goes on in our 18+ discord server
Credit to @toyama-division / @suginami-division for the idea! 😈
It’s no surprise that with the formation of the Division Rap Battles by the Japanese Government (also known as Chuohku), many teams have been formed either through coercion or by their own volition, with those teams come many high profile people or very prolific celebrities both old and young. As such, a betting ring was formed, by who? Well, no one knows, it could be from criminals to politicians to random civilians to even other contestants in the very same tournament, all that matters is that every person in the Division Rap Battles has a bounty on their head, this is a list of how much they’re apparently worth.
As for the reason why? Figure it out yourself.

this sequence doesn’t need any embellishment, but i still think about it constantly.
i’m thinking about yamato, who, for the first time here, uses his jutsu for his own interests, against the people who trained him to use it only for theirs.
thinking about the fact that kakashi’s arms are still cut up and bleeding from wounds yamato gave him, and yet here he is, breaking law after law, risking his entire life to save someone who two hours ago was trying his best to assassinate him.
thinking about the fact that kakashi comes to the foundation against the hokage’s orders, that he breaks into this facility knowing full well that it amounts to treason, that he deliberately orders yugao away before he does anything illegal, not just so she can get help, but so she can’t be implicated in the choice he’s made.
thinking about the fact that self-preservation and concern about potential future consequences are things that don’t even register in kakashi’s mind, not when there’s an immediate ethical choice to be made.  in the future, he might be arrested for what he’s about to do.  he might be executed, even.  but all the nebulous, potential future consequences in the world can’t affect his decision, because right now, if he lets danzo do something to yamato, he’s done something wrong.
[it’s like what he says many years later in the manga: to know what is right and choose to ignore it is the act of a coward.]
thinking about how badly danzo wants kakashi dead.  kakashi is the kid he couldn’t ensnare, the one he tried to exploit by preying on the pain of minato’s death but whose spirit was ultimately too strong to be made into another of danzo’s lapdogs.  kakashi foiled all of danzo’s plans three years ago and now he’s foiling all of them again; he can’t be intimidated, he can’t be broken or brought to heel, even lost and hurting and alone as he is - at the most critical moments, he still always does what’s right, not what he’s told.  nothing danzo does can change that.  there’s something guiding kakashi that danzo can’t touch, some kind of moral magnetic north inside him that can’t be cowed by any of danzo’s usual machinations.  kakashi will not be led.  that look he gives danzo when the smoke clears - it’s all fight.  that’s somebody who’s prepared to die for a principle, and danzo doesn’t know what to do with people like that.  he has no power over them.
[thinking, incidentally, about the fact that danzo must have hated kakashi’s father, and that he must hate kakashi even more, because kakashi is the version of sakumo who refuses to recant and who repeatedly decides not to die, despite how badly he wishes he could or thinks he should.]
thinking about kakashi, outnumbered and crouched there with yamato knocked to the ground behind him, preparing to fight his way through every single person who shows up to stop them from reaching the exit, including danzo himself.
thinking about how kakashi is doing all this for someone he barely knows, who tried to kill him, who thought that death was a well-deserved punishment and who fully expected to be forsaken, forgotten, and abandoned to his fate.
thinking about what that must feel like for yamato, who never in a thousand years believed that anyone would come for him.
