Senku x architect reader

Reader helped Senku make a bunch of his blueprints before the petrification, and once he has his footing in the kingdom of science he decides to send out a group to go looking for Reader’s statue. Only to realize it was one of the many statue’s tsukasa destroyed >:) how do you think yuzuriah would react when she realizes one of the latest statues she repaired was Reader’s? How quickly would Senku try to revive reader after the war with tsukasa is over?

Back in the modern world, Senku would most of the time not make his own blueprints. After all, that's why he had [Name] with him. She didn't complain, happy that her drawing skills would at least help him with his learning passion of science.

The two are childhood friends, Senku had practical dragged [Name] in his goal of making a spacecraft, seeing the girl doodle in her notebook during lunch time, taking this to his advantage, the trio was born, before Yuzuriha joined a couple years later.

Up until the purification, she was always by his side, equally showing his excitement in Science because that meant being useful to him by making blueprints and getting his praise!

Drinking his energy drink, Senku looks over at the girl for a brief moment as she happily draws out his idea.

"[Name]!" She looks up confused, hearing his voice only to see a bright light coming straight to her.

"Ah shit." She says, dropping her sketch book.

It had been 3700+ years since the world was turned to stone, Senku had tried to look for [Name]'s statue when he had free time but no luck. After Gen had found him wandering around the forest, he knew that Senku quietly looking for someone must mean that they're very important to him.

So, with a little convincing, gathered some of the villagers look for the statue.

When they did actually find said statue, Senku had stood before all the broken pieces of the broken stone. He didn't say anything at first before quietly thanking everyone for their help with the search.

Bending down to gather the broken stones, Gen noticed his shoulder slightly shaking.

After winning the war with Tsukasa, he handed the broken pieces to Yuzuriha before quietly telling her to fix this statue inside the small hut besides the laboratory. Yuzuriha agreed to do so, a little confused with how serious he was. Even stating that fixing this statue would be her first priority with the other ones.

The girl spent days working on it, and Senku wouldn't dare come inside until Yuzuriha was almost done. Stepping back to see if the pieces matched, she almost dropped the pot filled with the substance she used to glue the stones back together, eyes wide with disbelief.

"[Name]?" She says in agony, hands shaking. Sure, she fixed a lot of statues in the past, but to fix one of her best friends makes her want to vomit. Especially knowing that Tsukasa had taken part in her destruction since she was found near the Tsukasa empire.

After crying a bit, she was determined to fix [Name] now, fired up, spending three days without resting.

And soon enough, her best friend was fixed up.

Upon Yuzuriha telling Senku that she finally finished fixing [Name] up, he went over and dumped the revival fluid, a bottle of it he had hidden away when the three had left to escape Tsukasa in the beginning.

For the sole purpose of using it on [Name].

Yuzuriha squeal, clearly shocked on how he didn't hesitate, "Wait, Senku! She's not waring any-"

The [H/C] haired girl fell into his arms, unconscious, her hair barely covering her chest as Senku held her. A genuine smile on his lips as the girl slowly opened her eyes, eyes unfocused before looking up at Senku.

".." She blinks slowly, only to be met with a sight that she would never think she would ever see from Senku. The boy was trying to suppress his tears from rolling down his face but failing as the tears hit her face.

Ignoring the fact that she was completely naked, she comforted him first before Yuzuriha gave her clothes. While helping her face in them, Senku had his back facing them, rubbing his eyes, and ears flushed red.

Its been a couple weeks since [Name] was back, Senku would regular check her over, stating he wanted to make sure there wasn't an lingering side effects of the purification since she was put back together.

She was happily working on blue prints, Senku had made her a sketch book and pencils for her to work with. When he had mentioned building a ship, she went straight to work, laying down on the floor near to the telescope, completely in her work when she feels a hand on her legs, holding them down. Confused, she looks up to see it was Ssnku, looking a little annoyed.

"Oi, you're not wearing pants, so stop kicking your legs in the air. Someone can walk in and see under your dress." He says as she lets out a grumble since she's been interrupted.

Sitting down beside her, he looks over her designs. "Are these blueprints for the ship?" He asked. She nods, looking up at him as she rolls over on her back, legs pressed together and bent.

Her eyes stay on him as he flops the pages only to givgle quietly, "What's so funny?" He asked looking down at her.

"Oh, nothing. I just realized that nothing has really changed since the world changed. We always did this in your room, remember?" Smiling happily, she says

"...i guess you're right." He says, pushing the sketchbook onto her face as she complains about it, completely unaware of the way Senku's face is red. He's just glad that these moments stayed the same even if the world changed drastically.

The quiet atmosphere of the cloudless, starry night was accompanied by the occasional sound of glasses clinking together or the silent noise of chemical reactions. Yes, that’s exactly what you hear. It might be around 1 a.m., yet he is still working—constantly. Ever since he woke up, he has been on and about.

It was almost heartbreaking, seeing your crush- I mean friend, overwork himself. He should know that sleep is essential for human life, so why? Why doesn’t he go to sleep?

“That’s it!” You thought and got up from the comfort of your sleeping place and sneaked out of the science shed in which you’ve been sleeping for the past few months. Slowly, on your tippy-toes, you get to the laboratory where Senku is currently experimenting. 

It’s always “Go to sleep so you’re fresh tomorrow,” or “Go get your beauty sleep (Name), not like you need it.” But what about him? Seriously, he is like a child. Well, he was just 15 when this big responsibility of restoring the world fell on his shoulders, but even a 15-year-old should know about the importance of sleep.

You peek your head through the curtain that works as the laboratory door and see him, staring at a glass full of an unknown chemical substance, unknown to you at least. 

He then turns his head to look at you, staring you up and down. “(Name)? What are you doing here? Why aren’t you sleeping?” He questions you and continues stirring the substance.

“I could ask you the same thing, really.” You let out a small sigh and walk into the laboratory, the only light here being two lightbulbs, which are enough to illuminate the whole working space. On the table could be seen a bunch of makeshift equipment and a cute drawing of you two, made by Suika.  Seriously though, what was she thinking when she drew it? 

“I’m working, obviously.” He stated as he put down the beaker, finally turning to me.

“Well then, get a break, and let’s go to sleep. It’s like 1 a.m. already!” You tell him sternly, there’s no room for debate. 

And so he quickly cleans his work space and goes along with you, back into the science shed. You waste no time laying back down into the comfort of your bed, even though you could hardly call it that.

Senku, albeit quite annoyed, also joins you. He slowly lies down, surprisingly closer than usual.

“Hey, (Name)?” He calls out to you. “Is there anything you miss? From the modern world, I mean.” He asks, and you turn to look at him, confused at where this question is even coming from.

“I miss a lot of things, honestly.” You start slowly, tearing your eyes from his. “Like good ramen, sushi- oh I miss that so much, I hope we get rice soon.” You take a breath in; after all, this is a lot to talk about. “I miss our classmates, even if they were annoying sometimes.” You look back at him, finding his red eyes, which are reflecting the night sky from the window behind you. “I miss the life with barely any responsibilities.” 

He nodded along, agreeing with all of this. “Oh, and I also miss our sleepovers. I guess we have a sleepover every day now, but I miss playing videogames with you and eating snacks.” You sigh.

“I swear, I’ll make sure the civilization returns as soon as possible, (Name).” He looks me in the eyes. “For you,” he breathes out.

“What’s that even supposed to mean?” you chuckle nervously. 

“Whatever you want it to.” He smiles at me and then turns around. Falling asleep faster than you’d think is possible. 

“HEY- !”

chapter 2 of 2/2-i.senku series

a/n: I'll be doing a poll soon regarding this series later in the day, I'll keep it up for a couple of days

Senku was well aware of how much in awe the [h/c] haired girl was, practically shining glitter. He was sweating bullets but tried not to let it show; after all, he needed to make sure this playdate went well so he could get his end of the deal.

"A leek." She says in awe, shaking in her seat.

His eye twitched at this.

Her butler was writing something down upon hearing this. The girl stood up and this made him flinch. "Is your hair always this pretty?" She says with a high-pitched voice excitedly, gushing about his strange but cute, leek-shaped hair.

'This girl can't be a year older than me.' The 6 year old thinks. 'Much less the heiress of a big company like her old fart.'

"Senku, can I design a robot based on your hair?!" The older girl says as he's just annoyed from hearing her voice.

Her butler didn't waste any time measuring his hair and gently plucking out a piece of his hair.

"My apologies, Master Senku." The bulter says, bowing before handing him a small envelope as compensation.

The older girl was happily doing something on her stretch book before handing it back to her butler. Senku, having enough of this, stood up, knocking down the cup of tea onto the tablecloth. "Can we do something else? I hate playing princesses with you." He says bluntly.

The girl blinks at this before nodding. "Oh, okay." She gives him a smile, standing up, she goes over to him and grabs his hand. "We can go look at the flowers outside." She beams, tugging him forward.

They only lasted an hour outside the gardens in the backyard before Senku got bored. Instead of letting her suggest what to do next, he made his mission to stroll inside the mansion like he owned it, the [H/C] haired following behind, holding onto his shirt, which he tried several times slapping away but no luck.

He knows that her family is still moving things in so the library they must have, like all rich people do, should be around here somewhere.

"What are you looking for?" She asks him, which he ignores. Looking around corners, he finally finds the library; it is filled with books from top to bottom. Without thinking, he runs in, making the girl flinch, she runs after him. "Wait for me!" She cries out.

Senku had found a load of new books on topics he'd read, but these were clearly much better since they actually went into deeper detail. With a pile of books he carried.....more like the [E/C] haired girl carried moved to a corner, Senku sat down and began to read happily.

"Are we just going to be reading books?" The girl asks, sitting down on her knees, tucking in her dress, very ladylike as she stares at him.

When she doesn't receive an answer, like a cat waiting for its owner, she sits there, staring at him until he finally finishes a section. 

Very patiently, she waits and listens as he passionately rants, like a kid on Christmas. Blinking, she stares into his eyes, which remind her of the brightest apple she's had in the morning which makes her hungry again.

When she finally lets out her opinion, it seems like she sparked more from him. "Woah, you know about this too?!" He exclaimed.

"I thought you were just like all the other kids my age."

For the rest of the day, the two spend the time in the library, her butler often bringing in snacks.

".... I made these blueprints." She says shyly, rolling the paper in between them. Senku finally took a break and stared down at the paper, reading all the notes and looking at the designs.

"I want to make robots like my Dad makes machines." She says, pointing. "But he says I can't use any grown-up machines because I'll get hurt." She pouts at this. "So my butler follows my blueprints and makes the equipment for me. And I put them together like a LEGO set." She beams at this.

"So this is like Science but with robots," Senku says, clearly impressed. "Pretty amazing."

"Yeah, I guess so."

It was clear the two were bonding from the revolution of this, and of course, Senku ruins it. "What's your name again?" He asked, which made the [H/C] haired blink at him before looking dejected.

"....it's [Name]." She mumbles with an emotionless voice.

"Right, [Name], can I keep coming over-" She perks up at this, she's never had a friend, could he maybe be the first- "so I can read more books." And she's back with that dejected expression.

"...."

"...and maybe I can see you work on that cool robot you're making." Senku finishes off, looking up at her with a grin before choking upon seeing her expression. "Oi, what's wrong?!"

The playdate ended with [Name] finally coming out of her dejected state when Senku actually tried to cheer her up, and he was just being blunt like always. Kids tell the truth after all.

"Mister Byakuya!" She squeals happily, running into the man's arms as he picks her up, spinning her around.

"[Name]! It's nice to see you're doing great now!" Byakuya exclaims.

Senku watches this interaction with annoyance.

"Papa isn't home right now because he's at the office," the girl says as soon as she's let down.

"Can Senku and I have another playdate?" She begs his dad.

"Sure, sweetie." Byakuya petted her head gently. "I'll drop him off next weekend." She smiles at this before thanking him.

While walking to the car with Byakuya, Senku looks back to see [Name] waving at him frantically. "Bye Senku!" She says loudly as her butler bows at them.

Sitting in his room, exhausted as hell. Remembering the envelope that Butler gave him, he opens it, expecting it to be a stupid thing, but he's in awe when the envelope is filled with money. A chunky, pile of cash.

It was all going as planned, the North American team succeeded in turning on the petrification device, and now it was just a matter of minutes until it reached us again. You planned it with Gen, to confess to the love of your life right before you get petrified, so you can drown in shame and embarrassment until you get revived again, you totally forgot to account for the unfortunate situation you are in.

Senku got shot down, most of you did, really, including you. You were lying on the ground, barely breathing by now, and not far away from your side was Senku, who also found himself in an almost identical predicament.

“Senku…” You choke out, your teary eyes trying to grasp as many details of him. But he probably didn’t hear you, for he was too busy talking with Dr. Xeno. 

“...The truth is, my people and I are just full of desire.” You heard Senku say before the light could touch you. The stone spread around your body, leaving you in an empty darkness, only you and your thoughts.

“I cannot take it anymore…” You thought. It’s barely been 25 hours yet this is getting too boring. Before, you could stay awake for a whole 3720 years, until Senku revived you, but now, after a day, you want to give up?

“Remember, what did I think about?” 

“Oh.”

“I thought about him.”

Yet it aches so much.

When you first met Senku, you were just a first grader, too smart for your good. Hearing your classmate say that he wanted to get to space as soon as possible was funny. What a cute dream, really. But he didn’t just say what he wanted, he worked for it. Hours after hours spent in the library, researching things. Hours spent at home or outside doing experiments.

It did not take long for your curiosity to take over and approach him, which is how you ended up befriending him.

There were many more interesting memories you often found yourself reminiscing about. There was one that stood out though. 

Last year in middle school, your whole class decided to have a get-together in a park, basically a picnic, it was late afternoon and the guys decided to play truth or dare. A guy 

asked Senku who out of the girls in the class would he like to date the most. Of course, the radish-head said no one, since relationships are trouble-prone. One thing however stuck. Taiju snickered and said your name. You immediately waited for Senku to deny it, however, he didn’t, his cheeks might have flushed a little, too.

So why? Why can’t you just confess? He will either reject you, or he won’t.

You will either be able to move on. Or you will get a romantic partner. It’s either a win or a win. So why. 

Either way. Back to counting.

Something over seven years? And then crack. 

You were awake now. Standing in front of you were Senku and Suika. Everyone else was close by, still petrified. 

“Senku?” You let out a soft whisper, and he nods.

“Sorry for not responding to you back then.” He said, and you immediately recalled how you called out to him, but he didn’t hear you. 

“You heard?” 

“Of course. I also wanted to talk to you back then, but the situation called.” He said and you let out a sob. 

“Idiot, that’s why I love you.” You say and wonder if you should regret it.

“I know, same, now let’s got wake up the others.” He said as if it was not a big thing. Of course, he sucks when it comes to emotions but c’mon!!
