Chemistry between actors was amazing, but the storyline tho... in KDrama
Kang Sora as Oh Hara and Jung Seungjo as Goo Eun Beom in Strangers Again: the story ruined everything
Tumblr media
Lee Jaewook as Baek Kyung and Kim Hye Yoon as Eun Dan Oh in Extraordinary You:only if Baek Kyung wasn't written as a red flag by the manhwa writer
Tumblr media
Jeon Doyeon as Gil Bok Soon and Koo Kyo hwan as Han Hee Seong in Kill Bok Soon: the storyline was good for a crime thriller but unfortunate for them
Tumblr media
Moon Sangmin as Lee Jihan and Jeon Jong Seo as Na Ah Jung in Wedding Impossible :they get happy ending but the storyline was messy imo
Tumblr media
Lee Jaewook as Han Tae Oh and Choi Hee Jin as Kang Hee Joo in The Impossible Heir : yall know why. Everything in this drama was messed up except the chemistry between these two actors
Tumblr media
Ki Do Hoon as Yangcha and Kim Ji Won as Tanya in Arthdal Chronicles: basically Kim Ji Won has chemistry with everyone she acts alongside
Tumblr media
Lee Jae In as Lee Yoon Seo and Cha Woo Min as Ko Kyung Jun in Night Has Come: honestly I didn't even consider them before I saw all those edits on YT
Tumblr media
Go Youn Jung as Jung Jisoo and Seo In Guk as Kim Seong Hyeop in Death's Game: even the smallest moments between them was enough to establish how beautiful chemistry they had
Tumblr media
Lee Dohyun as Go Chang Myung and IU as Jang Man Wol in Hotel Del Luna: one of the best pairings in a KDrama to exist

DRAMA REVIEW | Perfect Marriage Revenge (2023)
Tumblr media
There’s an argument to be made about how Perfect Marriage Revenge had a perfect execution because it was a 12 episodes long drama and didn’t waste time for unnecessary conflicts. Everything took its right time and was resolved in a cohesive way with the characters development.
Both leads were compelling and had amazing chemistry, but the secondary characters were equally interesting to watch. All the performances outstanding and you can tell the actors are enjoying themselves in their respective roles.
On a story about a woman looking for revenge against her own family, this kdrama had a perfect balance between makjang and romcom. Making it an easy and fun watch. I highly recommend it!

I HATE THISSSSS
I loved newjeans!!!! I was rooting for you!!!! We were all rooting for you!!!!!!
But your ceo and creative director started to act like a greedy fuckin finance bro and TRIED TO USURP A COMPANY and GOT CAUGHT! like a fucking dumb stupid guy!!! And she’s supposed to be a smart capable artistic creative diva!!!! Her downfall was that she aligned herself with the wrong people aka loser men aka that vice president A from the leaked kakao texts (who got accused of sexual assault btw! and ceo lady looked the other way)!!!
And now ex-ceo mhj—because she did in fact get fired from her position as ceo—is making a whole lotta noise with the press and now the Korean National Assembly?? and now one of the newjeans members went in front of these politicians?
Whatever. I don’t wanna talk about it anymore.
I just am done.
mhj and the newjeans members are now just making a whole lotta ruckus so hybe will let newjeans out of their contract without making them pay $200 million in termination fees. so mhj can put them in a new contract under a new label she controls, even if she has a non-compete clause in her contract, she can still pull the strings behind the scenes.
I hope hybe never releases newjeans cuz that’ll be what’s best for them imo. It’s really really fucked up but these girls can scream and shout and struggle as much as they want but they should never be allowed anywhere near mhj ever again. they should be chained up to a radiator and given methadone cuz these girls’ brains were hardwired and that shit needs to be flushed out. mhj fed them poison frfr.
It might be impossible to make sure they have absolutely no contact but hybe should not let these girls go.

Queen of Tears
Tumblr media
This series is not perfect, but it is still good. It has a solid storyline, and great characters. Hong Hae In and Baek Hyun Woo have been married for 3 years and the love that had united them at the beginning seems to have disappeared in their distance and silence after a miscarriage that broke their hearts. When Baek Hyun Woo finally has the courage to present the divorce papers to Hong Hae In, she tells him she has a tumor and doesn't have much time left. His decision to stay with her gives them an unexpected chance at finding that love that had united them once. Family interactions between their very different families questions dynamics and help characters grow.
I like the fact that they didn't take the easy way out with our main antagonist. The story in itself is really good and I loved it, however, production was a bit careless with details that were too big to miss: Hae In's operation - how can a person with a brain tumor have a surgery with her hair intact. Or Hyun Woo's neck injury suddenly disappearing in a second, ext. These kind of details show some careless oversight. But we can forgive them - we laugh it off and keep watching to see what happens next.
I liked it and recommend it.

SOLO LEVELING WEEK
Day 4: Night / Creative Use Of Shadows
"NO!" Min Byung-gyu snapped awake, jerking up from the mattress. He panted as his hand clutched on his shirt, crumpling the fabric into his fist until he sensed a tinge of pounding in his heart.
"Byung-gyu?"
He turned over to the other side of the bed, seeing the confusion in Lee Ju-hee's blue eyes. His throat tightened in regret, knowing he had disturbed her peaceful slumber. "It's okay. Go to sleep." He told her. "Same old nightmare."
His beloved blinked and pushed herself up with her elbow, crawling her way toward him where she leaned her cheek on his shoulder. "Whatever that is, it's not going to happen again, okay?" She murmured. "Sleep once you're ready. I will be right here."
"I know," Byung-gyu mumbled. He grabbed her hand and brought it to his lap, intertwining their fingers together, feeling the softness in her palm to soothe his nerves. "You're the only one who can calm me down."
Ju-hee smiled, joking. "I always do a great job, right?"
"Of course," he chuckled. He glanced at the window where a bright, full moon clung to the sky. "The moon is beautiful, isn't it?"
It made Ju-hee flush a bit, not certain if Byung-gyu meant his words literally. Nonetheless, she nodded. "It is. You once told me a story about it, remember? The one with the rabbit."
"Yeah. The Jade Rabbit."
"Can you tell that again?" She knew Byung-gyu was passionate about history and myths. He would lit up every time the topic was mentioned, his sad expressions quickly morphed into happiness, and there was nothing else Ju-hee could ask once she saw the love of her life smiling.
"Alright," Byung-gyu indeed smiled. His paramour scooted closer and waited for the story. "The Jade Rabbit, despite its cute and fluffy white fur, was no ordinary bunny. It lives in the Moon Palace with Chang-e, the goddess of the moon, and is always seen making elixirs of life for the immortals. . ."
No trace of nightmare was seen in his face again. Byung-gyu now held his usual expression, serene and enthusiastic, and his voice blended into the quiet air of the bedroom whilst Ju-hee listened closely, enjoying the tale as sleep slowly returned to her. Soon, Byung-gyu would notice it by the time he was done with the story, and he'd tuck her into his arms with the reassurance that no nightmare would plague him again. Ever since the first she had spent the night with him, it became a routine, and Byung-gyu could no longer sleep without her next to him, finding the best comfort in her presence.
