So, I stumbled across this band recently scrolling through TikTok. They refer to themselves as a techno marching band. I was intrigued with the clip I saw and music sounded pretty good. Decided to hop onto their YouTube channel and check out some of their songs. Really like the vibe they put out. Guess I found me a new band to listen to! Who would have thought I would be into a techno marching band?!
I am back in orbit and hope to return soon. I had to close a cycle and pass some space oddities, but hopefully I will find the chance to be here more frequently again.
Missed you and miss you. Thanks for all the likes, reblogs and messages. You kept my blog alive and vivid. So grateful. Thanks a ton. Looking forward to dive into your imagination and inspiration again soon.
Sending a tight hug and lots of love to all of you.
Have a wonderful weekend. In those times of separation it´s time to come together.

MEUTE - LoCKeDoWN2 - the "techno marching band" that appears in the Moka Efti dance contest in Babylon Berlin season 4
MEUTE is a Techno Marching Band - eleven drummers and horn players from Hamburg / Germany who fulfil the job of a dj with their acoustic instruments. The archaic conglomerate of brass and drums creates a new genre by combining hypnotic driving techno and expressive brass band music. MEUTE detaches electronic music from the dj desk and evolves the thrust of energy on stage or directly in the crowd. Be it on the streets or in the club, with or without electricity – MEUTE runs!
Band:
Marco Möller | bass drum
Timon Fenner | snare drum
Onkel | snare drum
André Wittmann | marimba
Philipp Westermann | sousaphone
Philip Morton Andernach | bass saxophone
Adrian Hanack | baritone saxophone
Johnny Johnson | trombone
Sebastian Borkowski | tenor saxophone
Hans-Christian Stephan | trumpet
Thomas Burhorn | trumpet
I love this music video. It's so simple with its use of a parking garage and the band in their uniforms and yet, the way it is shot, the use of lighting, editing and using the music to set the mood, makes it brilliant.
YAY! Last weekend - after 2,5 years of delay due to Covid - I finally made it to see the wonderfantasticspectualurful MEUTE. What a great energy of rhythm and love. What a beautiful dress code, when everyone is wearing a smile.
Oh, the quality of the snippet is low and you will not find a steady camera in here at all as you can´t listen without moving and being moved. So please, stay with me to the end. No way to escape from that energy. ;-)
