The downside of having an old west gunslinger type character for a dungeons and dragons 5e game is that now i have to learn how the heck to draw guns
#not literally i mean like art wise lmao#I have a gunslinger lone ranger type construct character made out of wood and metal farm equipment and her name is Wheelbarrow#and i've been meaning to draw her but... 1) i have a lot of freelance stuff to draw first and 2) how do not make gun look like boomerang...#she has a revolver for range and shotgun for close up fights#and melee-wise she's got a built-in sickle that can pop out of her forearm like a switchblade#also after a boss fight that was a giant mimic disguising itself as a tavern#she got a guitar that's also a mimic as loot! it technically can be used as a bludgeoning weapon if need be- it's alive and WILL bite#she's been trying to learn how to play it but her performance checks have been pretty consistently awful XD ;#alas... maybe one day she'll master fantasy wonderwall...

literally just bragging because we finally got this marble top early 20th century washstand up here and i set it up as a vanity last night
#sun painting is a reproduction i made of another painting because i liked it and wanted it in my house#i'll update the tag when i remember the url of the artist of the painting i have hung up above it#isn't the leaf lamp gorgeous i got it at an estate sale#also the big platter is carnival glass which is a little later 20th century fad of applying an iridescence to glass with metallic salts#meant to mimic tiffany glass#leaf dish i stole from an abandoned house over by the dairy queen
