applying for retail out of desperation to pay rent while actively having to wrestle back the memories of the time when a violently angry customer hit me with a broken rake that i wasn't allowed to let him return and the management did fuck all about it, and all the times i got told i'd go to hell because i was working sundays instead of being at church, and all the times someone yelled at me and called me an idiot because I couldn't count incorrect change they gave me under pressure or go against store policy for them, and all the times management cracked down on me because too many people didn't want store cards when i asked them, and all the times i had to clean up spilled products and barf and literal shit while still expected to go running back to my register as the only cashier left in the store, and all the times when my manager made inappropriate comments on the size of my ass, and all the times I had to come in while feverishly sick, and the time when a lady stayed past closing for a full hour while shouting racist slurs at the guy working in the furniture section only for her to not even buy anything bc we couldn't magically pull a discount out of our asses for her, and all the times people stole shit and i was blamed for not passive-aggressively stopping them by offering to scan the item presently being stolen hard enough as they went running out the door with it, and the time i threw my back out lifting heavy shit and they had to take me to the back and give me a drug test for some reason and report the injury and then just put me right back out on the register without doing anything else to actually help with my back, and all the times i had to deal with severe burnout from masking all the time and forcing myself to make eye contact all day and appear normal to the point where i dissociated hardcore for like two years and didn't feel like myself even when off the clock anymore, and all the times i went home with my hips and my knees and my feet hurting so bad from standing for pretty much 8 hours straight that i wouldn't be able to stand up or walk without pain for the rest of the night, and the time when...

hey there! big fan of your art & writing here, and i recently roped my friend into reading your weresnoodle rps (they got through them all in a day and i am STILL shocked and impressed abt it). i know you’re not into ahit anymore, so feel free to ignore this message if you want, but we were just wondering if there had been a set plan for the AU’s ending after the last one left off? the cliffhanger is KILLING both of us, so i figured i may as well ask. hope you’re doing well!! 💚

Hey! Sorry this took like a week to get back to you- It's been a few years since this rp stopped, and while I've talked with @kiptsune and there is a chance we may continue sometime in the future since we still like this story a lot, we figured we've probs left everybody on a cliffhanger for long enough. (SO sorry about that, I completely forgot what the last bit we'd posted was!!) And I DID promise years back that I'd say how the rest of the story we planned would go if it didn't seem like we'd finish it, so here I am, finally making good on that promise!

So yeah I spent the past week going through our old plans for this AU and talking with Kippie to help piece things back together, rereading old parts, and finally gathering everything together to write how I think the end of the story would go. I did have to take some creative liberties to fill in some smaller story gaps here and there, so no guarantees this is one-to-one how things would go should we pick it back up, but I did my best. XD ; I also have the rest of the RP we'd written after Chapter 10, so I'm posting that along with the ending summary!

Hmmmmm... There appears to be the promise of a good time planted squarely under this box propped up by a stick- a completely natural thing to see out in a grassy area such as this!

Perhaps I should have a closer look...

Dunno if it would count since it's not its own independent ttrpg but Toonkind dnd is pretty fun and has a ton of different groups and stuff

True! I've only ever played DnD in one game before (that's ongoing, but on hiatus at the moment) so I'm still kinda learning the ropes of it. XD ; I tend to need help with actual character sheet stuff and the like, I'm better at the more RP side of things than I am at the numbers and mechanics, but with a patient enough GM I'd probably do fine! I mean the game I'm in has been going alright enough so I'm probs just being unnecessarily hard on myself. <XD ;
