HERE'S A THOUGHT~!

In the MCU, the Time Stone was found by the sorcerer Agamotto thousands of years ago.

So this dude, someone who was according to official papers was "a being" who was not human. And from the looks of it found the stone on earth.

Now here is my thought about this, what if this guy found the Time Stone in the Crystal Cave all those years ago. It would make sense for the crystals in the cave to have been affected by the time stone and have the properties of possible futures.

The Birth Place of Magic.

Agamotto might have taken the time stone but some of it's powers still remained there in the cave. Druids and other magic folk revere and fear the cave, cause if not careful one could go mad with all the possible outcomes of the future.

Merlin, long after Camelot, ends up back in the Crystal Cave and witnessing all the possibilities of the future. He learns much but also goes slightly mad for a time.

Then at some point he travels and finds Kamar-Taj. There he can feel the Time Stone but much more powerful then the cave. It calls to him, recognising Merlin as a worthy wielder or fellow kin.

Now I'm completely for the concept of Merlin being Magic itself and if Magic came to be in that cave, Merlin is a part of the time stone as we saw in the first episode of Merlin where he basically stopped time saving Gaius and slowing it down saving Arthur.

If the Infinity Stones were created by the Big Bang from 6 singularities, what if there was a 7th one.

Magic.

Diverse and capable of all 6 aspects of existance.

Making Merlin one of the very few to be capable of touching the stone itself, along with the other five.

feeling emotional bc im thinking about s1 merlin coming to camelot and looking around in awe and wonder and then stumbling upon an execution and flinching away at the sight of the gore vs s5 merlin who keeps his back turned from his enemy before inhaling and squaring his shoulders to turn around with a cold expression and kill them. s1!merlin who smiled so wide and was so young and carefree vs s5!merlin who forces his own self down into a box to allow some colder persona to manifest to kill his enemies. thinking about child!merlin crying when the livestock in ealdor was killed for meat and s1!merlin pouting on hunts vs s5!merlin who has killed hundreds if not thousands all for arthur - his hands stained with so much blood he cant see his skin, his body, his soul. all he sees is a monster. s1!merlin asking gaius if he was a monster vs s5!merlin knowing he is but unable to stop himself to keep arthur safe and sound.

Imagine after Merlin and Snow get married Merlin got cursed again (to his credit it wouldn’t be his fault it was an actual witch this time) like I’m imagining he’s out fighting a witch with the rest of the f7 like old times Yknow? And well being cursed to be a troll for a whole year and not being able to keep your skills sharp must suck when fighting a witch that’s keeping everyone else too preoccupied with minions to help you fight the main bad guy who decides to use a.. tiny.. curse (hilarious i know)

Yeah don’t worry the guys handle the witch before anything bad happens (unless your angsty, I’m not tho) i fear i do not have a good enough grasp on their characters to actually write something like this but listen you people are free to use these I’m just the idea dispenser

does anyone ever think about that, while she was under Morgana's influence, she treated Morgana with the same care and concern that she did in the early seasons???? because I do, I think about that a lot

Medici x Merlin Short

Merlin: *Meets Giuliano and is not impressed*

Giuliano: Do I know you?

Merlin: I sure hope not, or you'll most likely be seeing too much of me.

Giuliano: *Confused but intrigued* And why is that?

Merlin: Because I'd have done something stupid for the right reasons and somehow be rewarded with being your servant.

Giuliano: *A silent pause*... That's oddly specific.

Merlin: Believe me, with my luck, it'll happen within a day.

Giuliano: *Dumbfounded*

After a lot of drinks in the tavern where they met, a fight was avoided and one whole, less bloody, Giuliano was escorted home.

Lorenzo: You have done a great deed in returning my brother home whole and without injury, when you did not need to stranger. I offer you a place in our household. Work for us and you shall be rewarded with a high pay for your service to my brother.

Merlin: *Turns to Giuliano* See what I mean?

Giuliano: *Surprised* Brother!

Merlin: *Stares back at a confused Lorenzo* I'd like to have 2 days a week for myself and you've got a deal.

Lorenzo: Brilliant, you're hired.

Giuliano: *Making a fuss drunkenly* I'm right here, don't I get a say in this!?

Merlin: Of course Messieur, your the boss after all. Now let's see how badly of a room I'll be dealing with for the foreseeable future. *Helps support Giuliano while given directions by someone*

Giuliano: What!? Are you calling my room a mess?! You can't talk about me that way! *He whines childishly yet not shoving or pushing Merlin away.*

Merlin: Of course not Messieur. Never would dream of such Messieur.

Giuliano: *angry pouts* Sarcasm I see.

Merlin: Now I'm sure you're just seeing things Messieur. *Sarcasm drips from his tone. As he tries to hold back a smirk*

Giuliano: *Understands the tone and argues back.*

They did not notice or acknowledge the bewildered stares of the Medici members behind them, as they bantered like old time friends.
