Minecraft Diaries AU | Layla and Jason Ross When the siblings get involved in my self-indulgent shenanigans

Anyway, meet Layla and Jason! They're siblings (Jason older, Layla younger) who guard their home town, Manarkia. They work under the lord whose also their dad.

Layla is a practicing magicks user, while Jason uses magicks every once in a while. (Fun fact, Jason's a premature shadow knight!)

Michelle is my character and Atlas is my friend’s character :) apologies if Dante looks funny next to all of them, I was trying to more accurately portray his Hispanic heritage bc I was low key struggling to make him look right at first and forgot to make it more stylized like Laurence 💀 also, Dante’s eyes are brown because the blue eyes are way too much. Laurence’s eyes are like.. blue hazel, if that’s the right word (they’re blue and green)

Dare I say that Cadenza may be one of the most tragic characters in my rewrite..

Like first, when she’s 11 her village is burnt down, both her parents are killed right in front of her, she falls into a river with her 5 year old sister who is then swept away and presumed dead.

Then, years later, one of her adoptive fathers is killed in his sleep, and her brother is a mess.

Then she’s turned into a chicken for a while and while that’s going on her brother apparently kind of dies and comes back blind and traumatized and different.

Then she is reunited with her sister after like 13 years, just for her to immediately die a gruesome death.

Then her sister comes back just like her brother did. And just as things are kind of starting to get back to normal, her bother and sister and a bunch of others go missing for FIFTEEN YEARS.

They come back but her brother is clearly even more messed up than before and she has to watch his decent into madness from afar until he eventually just up and disappears one day.

Then like a year later the same things happen to her sister.

Then a couple years later they’re both back again but now there’s a war to be fought and that very war kills her fiancé right before her eyes.

Oh and then both her siblings fall into comas and no one knows what to do.

Girl has been THROUGH it.

Lapis Valentine’s Day thing!!

A little quick sketch of them :3 anyways lemme share like the shit load of art I have of them

Starting with like the colored stuff along with initial headshot + younger lapis. He is so itty- fun fact he gets fur on his arms and grows along his lower back around the time fall and winter roll around and then mostly sheds it off in spring

Also if they saw that aph has the Irene relic they’ll literally study her until he’s able to make a relic on his own

Anyways the kid drawing has a little story to it where Juniper (Lapis’ mentor and guardian) adopted lapis from the streets in order to have someone to pass their magic research onto and to continue it- like brings lapis to their house deep in the woods/kinda jungle area of Tu’la and sooner than later starts to work on a project/studying how enchanting works. They’re grinding up some lapis when they realize they don’t have enough on hand and offhandedly holds their hand out saying “Lapis.” As if asking for it, and ofc the kid gets confused for a moment since they’re just watching the process and instead of retrieving the stone she’s like ? Me lapis? Yes hi :3 and juniper felt too bad to correct them and felt they needed a name Anywyas so Lapis officially joins h the Voidkeeper family !!!

She live with Kiki since Kiki was told she had a hard time going into her natural wolf form. So Kiki asked if she’d like to live with her in phoenix and roxxie ofc said man what the heck why not!. Roxxie stole her clothes off some dude who called himself the goblin king and in season 2 some guy who was preaching about how humans pollute the earth and that he’s married to a goddess of mercy ?? Season2 Roxxie doesn’t live with Kiki she lives on her own
