Hey? What's this? A positive rant? 😱

I like Katelyn and Travis' relationship. A lot of people don't, whether it's Travis' creepiness, or Katelyn’s abuse. Travis started off to have a bad attitude and a gross manner towards Katelyn, but Katelyn was thankfully able to retaliate and match his energy by being able to knock him back and show Travis that this behavior is not okay. When Travis stops having these sexual tendencies, bettering himself to lean more romantic, Katelyn’s pushing did not stop.

She learned to be okay with how she treats Travis after that because she expects the worst from him. Ever since, Katelyn has been beating down on Travis, which they do talk about. Travis understood why his behavior was wrong and fixed himself. Katelyn made a huge cut back on her violent tendencies once she was told Travis will be better. Once they got over their bad issues, they were able to connect and overcome it. Their flawed relationship is a great example of not giving up on striving to be better. They were able to work through it and have a semi-normal relationship after it. A lot of people seem to miss that. They either say how Travis is being violently abused, or how Katelyn is being sexually harassed. Most of it is defending Travis, even if he made Katelyn learn that she needed to fight back in the first place. Travis taught her she needed to push him around if she wanted normalcy.

They're not unsalvageable. They've achieved a happy relationship even through the plot, they've overcome and if you don't believe it, watch the show for yourself. You can see their change and see their growth. They've come to respect each other. I enjoy Katelyn x Travis because it can both be tragic and sweet at the same time as it shows how even with their rough start they were able to thrive after.
