As the lord's sister, you must assist in any way possible but it also means to put your feelings aside no matter how badly it kills you inside.

As head guard of the village, you must serve your lord. Do not have feelings, you need to do what is necessary to be a good guard.

Every morning the sun shines directly on y/n, illuminating her gorgeous skin and her raven black hair.

It always takes at least an hour for y/n to come down the stairs.

She takes time to get ready, to carefully brush her hair and style it.

After that, she picks out her outfit for the day.

Usually, she wears pinks and purples with green but today she decided to wear a dark blue dress with a white skirt and puffy sleeves that are see-through.

Finally, she heads downstairs, and when she does she is met with Zoey and Aphamu at the table with Levin. They are both fawning over him too much to notice she walked past them to grab some food.

“Aphmau, I must shop today I'm in need of some herbs. Do you wish to come with me?” y/n mentioned.

“ mhm yes, I suppose. I do need to grab a few things as well” Aphamu hummed.

After sitting down and eating breakfast both girls got ready to leave. As they were leaving of course they were stopped outside the door by commotion going on.

Quickly both girls try to figure out what is going on.

It’s an argument between Garroth and two O’Khasis guards standing in front of Zane the high priestess of O’Khasis.

Aphmau steps in and talks to Zane. After a moment of conversation, aphamu blurts “So if the problem is his helm then he will just remove on the wedd- “

“ No “Garroth cuts her off.

“ No?” Aphamu repeats his words back to him

“ I will not take it off” he exclaimed

“ in O’Khasis it is a law for a guard to obey his lord and can be punished if he does not lord Aphamu “ Zane points out

“ Garroth I demand you remove your helm for the wedding “ Aphamu’s voice wavers in unsureness it’s obvious she doesn’t want to be saying this but she is in the presence of someone higher position than she is.

“ then I’ll quit!” He snapped.

“ garroth! What has gotten into you!?” she questioned

“ Wait! “ y/n finally spoke. “ aphamu may I speak to you for a moment “ y/n took her aside by arm and whispered in her ear.

The day goes on and here comes the next day, the wedding day!!!!!!!!

All day is spent with the girls in one house and everyone is doing something.

Cadenza is sewing the last touches on a dress she hasn’t finished.

Y/n is doing Donna’s hair.

Kiki is doing donnas makeup.

Emma is preparing the food.

And Aphamu is helping finish building the wedding spot.

After all was done and the time came it was beautiful The vows and how amazing everything looked the wedding was just beautiful except it was missing someone who y/n couldn't help but feel alone without.

“ aphamu I think I shall take Sir Garroth a piece of cake, it is quite delicious and I think he should enjoy some” y/n explained while grabbing some cake and beginning her way to the guard towers.

Y/n walks up the guard's tower stairs to garroths room with the cake from the wedding he was unable to attend. She thought of him the whole time watching Donna walk down the aisle. She slowly approached garroths door and hesitated before knocking but gained her confidence quickly and knocked….. he answered without his helm on his hair so messy and his eyes tired and heavy as if he had been crying, she couldn’t help but feel a want to hold him

“ garroth I brought you cake “ she spoke softly almost whispering. A little part of her felt targeted by his eyes as he stared at her for a few moments until he finally opened his mouth

“ thank you lady y/n “ he spoke softly before getting closer to her

“I appreciate your care, “ he said staring into her eyes just so intense that he couldn’t take it anymore despite knowing it was wrong.

Against everything he thought, his lips yearned for hers so much so not being able to kiss her has grown mentally painful for him.

His eyes begged for permission his lips couldn’t speak. His lip slightly twitched, wanting to speak but he couldn’t, he didn't want to do anything else but do what he had been longing to do since the day she had given him an apple in the barn she hid him in, wearing that giant white bow on her dress.

In this moment he feels physically weak in the knees at the sight of her.

“ y/n…..you look very gorgeous tonight,” Garroth smirked while eyeing hernip and down.

“ yes t t thank you, you too. Oh uh I mean you look very handsome yourself ” she stutters out.

He laughs a little at her stutter and shyness.

“ you think so? “ he asked

Now returned to silence for a moment the air felt thick like they both wanted to say something but neither could say it.

I'd like to make it known that y//n has had a lot to drink but surprisingly she has been able to act normal until now and when I say normal I mean she can say sentences “Normally “She would have never brought Garroth the cake it’s unprofessional and inappropriate but she did because she wanted something from him and that is him.

She stares at him for a moment debating if she’s willing to do what she thinks she’s going to do.

“ yes,” she says out loud which causes Garroth to lift his head in confusion.

I have a weird but strong fixation on Kiki x Zane. Yes it’s toxic. Yes I love it and need to explore their relationship more. No one talks about them.

Kiki, who has long been single throughout the series, meeting this really sweet guy who indulges her interests in animals and creatures. He even got her a gift. She really feels a connection with him.

Meanwhile, Zane has this pendant he needs to drain the power of and oh, that’s a cute girl. Let me just talk to her and trick her into taking this pendant and drain the magic within it. He was using her. Or from her perspective, just playing with her feelings.

Kiki didn’t know of this plan. Even after the wedding and everything that happened to Alexis, she still thinks fondly of Zane, blissfully ignorant or the devastation he’s caused even within her own village. Until she gets to Bright Port with Aphmau. She’s already exhausted from the physical strain the pendent has on her. And when she and Aphmau are placed under house arrest, she hears the guards speak of Zane’s engagement to Aphmau. Not only is she sick, but now she’s devastated. She really thought she had something with him.

Zane rarely thinks of Kiki, only thinking of her as a nice girl, but still just a pawn in his game. He’s not even aware of how deeply she really fell for him.

This might be a hot take? But I am OBSESSED with the idea of Zane x Kiki in Mystreet had she existed in that universe I think they be so so fun I love them.. definitely would be a super healthy couple since I hc they would've met/dated a little before the start of the series and at that point Zane would NOT have been an excellent person and Kiki would NOT have tolerated it lol

This is incredibly indulgent, but I like to believe MYST! Zane, esp towards the beginning of the series, is very cunning linguist and can definitely don a very charming persona. I think they would've met in their early-mid 20s, and Zane is immediately enamored and so w/out thinking he whips out the manipulative rizz and they go out. This of course can't last forever however and once he sort of reveals his true colors it's over

I do think in this circumstance he did genuinely care about her, but didn't really know what to do about that? Like he'd spent so much of his life pushing people away but now that there's someone he is interested in he does the only thing he knows makes people like him - sweet talk. He charms her to the moon and back and that works really well for a while but as previously mentioned it's not something he can keep up forever, and she doesn't respond very well to finding out he pretty much been lying about himself to her for this entire time and break it off then and there

I might also use this to add Leona into my myst rewrite since I hc her to be Zane's kid, like maybe shortly after he and Kiki breaks up she skips a period? 👀 and she'd raise it solo with the help of her brother and maybe some of their friends, but maybe she wouldn't say anything to Zane since they had such a nasty break and her opinion of him would still be pretty hostile at this time

I like to think they meet up again later down the line, probably sometime between s3-s5, before starlight. In my rewrite that'll be several years since s1 so Zane'll have plenty of time for growth and self improvement. I think she'd see that and be inclined to give him a second chance, and start a tentative friendship, and of course she'd admit to not telling him about Leona..

Idk man I just think about this a lot and think there are so many fun angsty things that could be done here

MCD Series Rewrite & Mystreet Universe Rewrite ->

MCD rewrite!Katelyn is mostly indifferent to being pregnant and having children. During season 2 and on-way, she has a “if it happen, then it happens” mentality and she’ll do her best to raise the child she does ever become pregnant. However, during season one, the idea of becoming pregnant terrified her because she was a jury member and Katelyn not only experienced how Zane used her family against her, she also saw how Zane constantly used Abby against Jeffory.

Actually, since Katelyn x Kiki is an endgame ship in my MCD Rewrite, technically Katelyn does becomes Leona’s step-mom & while Leona’s already an adult when the Katelyn & Kiki started dating, Katelyn’s already fully embraced the possibility of Leona seeing her as a parental figure later down the line. Because she genuinely wanted to be with Kiki (because being with Kiki requires one to fully care about pher daughter (not caring about Leona is full on deal-breaker in Kiki’s eyes & Katelyn fully understood that)) and Katelyn also felt like she has healed enough mentally and physically she had finally started putting her walls down & fears away to be in that position.

Now, Mystreet Rewrite!Katelyn. While she has experience with babysitting and would gladly watch any of her friends’ children. She doesn’t want to get pregnant and she doesn’t want children of her. In fact, if she ever discovered she was pregnant, she would quickly delete that fetus. And if she got pregnant and discovered said pregnancy pass the point that she would feel personally comfortable with aborting it then, she’ll probably either a) give fully custody of it to her dad or to one of her brother, b) give full custody to whoever got her pregnant (assuming neither of them lived together), c) give full custody of it Aphmau or Nicole, or d) if none of those options are available/don’t want fully custody then she’ll give it for adoption.

The only way Katelyn would have a hand in raising it is if she discovered the pregnancy pass the point she would feel comfortable with aborting it and the person who got her pregnant lived with her. Even then she’ll try to let the other person do most of the work (and actually it’ll probably force her to speed run anger management because while she’s doesn’t want it, she also doesn’t want to be abusive. And then speedrun therapy because at some point she’ll realize she doesn’t want to repeat the mistakes Elizabeth made)
