lore as of right now:

the concept behind the apocalypse is not a basic zombie blah blah one, basically the voices arent just affecting the sword holders but random citizens as well, leading to ppl growing violent and losing their sense of self, some ppl get affected slower than others yadda yadda, this leads to tons of bloodshed and violence because those who r "too far gone" essentially become like animals

I absolutely love mayor Monty, he's such a sweet man that just wants some people to visit him and hear him tell stories from when he was young and how much he loves his wife, not to mention him and mayor Thanyiel used to be best buddies and I think that's so cool...

I also like to think that eventually mayor Monty ends up seeing the player as their grandson like with Jim.

Final doodle pile for the day. There’s a little bit headcanon here too:

Jim braided mayor Monty’s beard for him.

The player was pretty slim by the start of Demo 1, a little underweight even, as a natural result of living through an apocalyptic future (briefly mentioned in this post) where food was scarce. They were more of a scout than an actual fighter if you look at their body type alone (and they talk like one too).

They gradually gained a healthy amount of body mass as their journey progresses. Especially after getting access to Turitopulis and befriending the ghost chef.

Oh and there’s depressed Builderman. The concept is just funny I have no explanation for it
