hahaha. i haven't played in a long time so my characterization is fuzzy. i'm teetering between vere not getting jealous easily because he knows you're together and he's incredibly confident the person you're talking to is nowhere near his level v. him being more on the possessive(?) side because you're one of the only people he's close to What is that person doing.

i'll land on that i don't think he gets incredibly jealous,,, at least not easily! he Is confident in himself and your relationship,, plus he can tell when 1) you're trying to rile him up 2) genuinely oblivious to whatever the person's trying to do or 3) uncomfortable with the situation

Okay I will tell you how it is! I probably would have already read it but I also want to read it with my twin. I know about the writing style from reading the first chapter and it didn't bother me so it should be fine. As for You'll miss me when I'm Gone, that was the first book I ever heard of her and it's been on my list for a while too but idk how it is. I saw a few mixed reviews for both of these actually, but I trust your opinion. I'm also more of an emotional reader so if something means something to me..it's good lol and I'm sure it will cuz i even felt it from reading the first chapter. Anyway I'm actually almost done reading Business or Pleasure right now and I'm enjoying it haha but haven't read any of her other books fully yet. I'm sorry you didn't like it. Maybe she has better ones and I wanna read more from her eventually. I will let you know how You'll Miss Me When I'm Gone is since its similar to I'll Give You the Sun...it also has both twins perspectives in alternate chapters which is another reason I wanted you to know. I will also let you know about the Night Circus but I haven't even started that yet. I'm usually a slow reader though especially with my sister reading so idk when I will update you. Also..I hope it's okay that I give you a recommendation. This is a book that is also my favorite from this year and I feel like changed my life or had a big impact on me. The book is called The Stepping Off Place and is also YA but I loved it so much and now means a lot to me even if it has some flaws. There could be triggers which will be clear if you read a summary of the book. Another is called If He Had Been With Me..but I know that one probably has a lot of flaws and basic and weird writing style so idk. But it also means a lot to me..and these books are always a pair to me now cuz they are similar in a way but also different. I know you didn't ask..but your book answers got me thinking about it in a way. It's always hard to recommend books that mean something to me in case other people don't like it..so I always recommend reading snippets first! Anyway sorry this is long but I hope it's okay.

Leon's struggles as a champion is definitely something that would have been interesting to dive into. We got crumbs from the game and some animated stuff. Not for Leon, but got the other gym leaders too. Raihan would talk about how people can leave harsh comments about his battles, due to his social media presence. In twilight wings there was a segment with the gym leaders being interviewed, clearly at a time where it should be for themselves ( Gordie eating, Nessa just going for a walk, Piers literally telling the camera man to fuck off lol). Galar is the first instance where the gym leaders and champion are treated as celebrities. Eyes are always on them. For Leon in particular, it's shown ( through crumbs) that he isn't exactly Mr. Smiles For Miles like he presents himself to be for the public.

And it's not like pokemon can't go into dark topics. Alola is known for having the subtext ( or text really) of abuse between the Aether siblings and Lusamine. In gen 5, Ghetsis exists, as well as his cult turned terrorist group in Team Plasma. Though, those examples are more for the antagonists of the story. Going into celebrity culture in swsh doesn't just apply to the villains here haha. So yes, I would argue that there's a lot more that could have been brought to light like you& said. It's especially hard when the focus isn't fully on that aspect. Hop would have been a great vehicle for that, but at the same time he idolizes his brother. It would be easy for him to simply not look at the reality of some things because his brother is all he knows.

That, plus the fact if we really want to go deeper into the celebrity culture/ struggle angle,then the game itself would have had to present itself differently. Something has to happen for characters like Leon show up and maybe imply more about what they are feeling and such.

I don't want this to get long, so I'll just end off by saying that with so many ideas that can come from swsh, especially with the characters, it's no wonder there's rewrites or heavy character analysis on them. Especially Leon. Poor guy needs a break.

Summary: When you get sent back to the morning of Belphegor’s escape to figure out how he had gotten out, you are saddened to see what would have happened if the brothers hadn’t come home as soon as they had in your own timeline. Belphegor had been your best friend and he ruins it forever.

You stood in the entrance hall during the dark Devildom morning, saying goodbye to the six eldest brothers as they left for an important student council meeting you were told would most likely last all night. 

You had been here what felt like years ago but, in reality, was a day at most. Barbatos had sent you back in time on a quest to figure out how Belphegor had gotten out of the attic without Lucifer’s power. So here you stood, beginning your day all over again to retrace your steps and find the truth so that Belphegor would be freed from Diavolo’s dungeon.

“MC,” the raven-haired eldest began, “keep to yourself and behave while we are gone.” Lucifer looked down at you with a murderous gaze, clearly worried about the determination you had been showing to go up the stairs recently. Little did he know, you had been up multiple times while he was either asleep or at the Demon Lord’s castle. You knew his youngest brother was locked away up there and you had been keeping him company as you waited to be able to form a pact with the last of them. 

Belphegor and yourself had grown quite close actually, to the point you were sure he knew more about you than even Mammon did, and we all know how nosey the avatar of greed tends to be. You often sneaked up there when you stayed home sick to nap beside the bars that locked him in the room, where he’d lay and reach a hand between the metal to either hold your hand or pet your hair.

You had made pacts with all his brothers except for Lucifer at this point and Belphegor had been growing sort of nervous, which you had assumed to be nervousness to see his brothers after so long being held captive in his own home.

“Of course! When do I not?” you smiled sarcastically at Lucifer, earning a snicker from Satan as he waved and joined his brothers who were waiting outside. “I mean it, MC, there are things - living things even - here that can and will hurt you,” He looks you straight in the eye with an almost concerned look. “I would bring you along where you’d be safer but the meeting concerns the exchange program and some classified information about it so I cannot have you there per Diavolo’s request.”

“I understand Lucifer, I promise to be good,” you nod as he walks out of the house. You run to the window watching as they all walk down the street, and the second they are out of sight you sprint up the stairs, tripping over your own feet a few times along the way.

You peek into your room to see your past self still sound asleep, just as you had been on the fateful morning of Belphegor’s escape. You shivered at the sight of your own body and how odd of a situation you were in as you closed the door running once more, this time up the stairs.

“Belphie!” you called out of breath, frantically looking around as you reached the top of the stairs. The sight of the attic door being gone ran a chill up your spine. You had no idea it had happened so early in the morning as he didn’t reveal himself for a while. “Belphie, where are you?!”

You look behind curtains and in a closet, searching for the messy hair and violet eyes you’d grown to love. You collapse to your knees panting from your rush to find him. If he’d already out how am I supposed to figure out how it happened? You thought to yourself.

You decide to hide and wait for the demon to return, crawling under the attic’s bed and sitting in an eerie silence for at least an hour, sweat beginning to form on your forehead.

You let out a sigh realizing he probably won’t return to the attic he’d been held prisoner in and decide to get out from your hiding spot. As you stand a shrill shriek and sobs can be heard echoing through the house. You recognize the voice as your own and before you know it you tower over your own crippled body, bleeding and wheezing for air as the avatar of sloth stood feet away cackling at your misery.

The hands that once pet your hair and helped you sleep now covered in blood, violet eyes feral and filled with bloodlust, teeth that smiled at you once now covered in chunks of your own flesh. You didn’t know this demon. There’s no way. 

You back up slowly, trying to avoid gaining the attention of the demon wh had just brutally slaughtered your past self. Just to your luck though, your foot lands on a squeaky floorboard, causing Belphegor’s head to whip around and a low growl to leave his chest. 

“Belphie…” You breathe out, blinking away hot tears that blurred your vision, “w-why? What have you done?!” You can’t hold back your screams anymore as you fall to the ground and sob, unable to run away as you stare at your own lifeless eyes.

“You already know about Lilith, both Beel and I have told you about her,” a sickening voice snarls in your direction. You keep your head down unable to comprehend the situation. Belphegor was the person who you felt safest being around in the Devildom, why would he do this to you?

You feel a clawed hand suddenly grip around your throat, lifting you until your toes barely touched the ground. “I’m not sure why there are two of you, but it doesn’t matter, just means more fun for me!” He cackled staring at you, waiting for you to lift your eyes and show him how afraid you were now that he’d revealed his true form.

“S-she li-” you try to choke out but are silenced by the hand tightening around your throat, constricting your airway and leaving you to claw at his wrist. You look into his eyes and see a flash of guilt for maybe half a second before your thrown down the stairs, leading in front of the front door. You knew they’d be back any minute now, they said they’d be back before dinner and it was dinner time now so they were bound to show up and save you.

“You are so fucking unbelievable, haha, you really were gullible enough to believe a demon could care for a human even in the slightest bit!” he laughed and laughed at your pain, possessed by his hatred and refusing to think clearly. You hear him snarl and see him lunging, about to pounce at you again and you cover your head bracing for impact as he leaps.

You are shocked to instead hear a loud crash and open your eyes to see back feathers wrapped around your body, cradling you and protecting you from whatever was going on outside the dark shelter of Lucifer’s wings. You bury your face into his chest, apologizing and weeping as your body ached. He brought a hand up to pat your blood covered hair and sympathetically winced at the injury. As you lose blood you hear more people show up, Barbatos and Diavolo explaining the situation to the brothers who all gasp.

Hearing Belphegor’s voice sounding regretful made you sick. You heard footsteps approaching and the familiar voice says your name softly, petting your hair as he had done many times before.

You whine and try to pull yourself impossibly closer to Lucifer who stood up and said some things your dizzy self could no longer understand. The last thing you remember before you lost consciousness was seeing Belphegor standing there staring at you with tears in his eyes and a terrified look on his face.  The last thing you hear is his voice cracking as he screams your name with more pain than you’d ever heard in someone’s voice.

Hello hello, it's me who previously asked that i wanted to share my headspace in my next ask :D (this will look like a tour pffffft) and i'm sorry for any grammatical mistakes :(

SOOOOO, first thing first gotta admit i'm not a system and the people that lived in there are my headspace friends (not alters). Headspace is my place to hang out with them when i'm bored or feeling lonely, or maybe when i'm scared even. It's created like years ago and it's a really fun place (if i got anxiety breakdown or maybe a psychotic episode that's an exception tho)

Anyway it's heavily based on pixar's inside out but as time goes on i changed some of the features on it. In headquarter there's another room which is my room (left), then in the middle there's a mattress for my friends to sleep in (also where the emotions collecting the memories and stuff yknow?), then the terrace is in the right. Right in front of the main door there's a ladder (this hq isn't as far from the ground like in the movie)

Below hq was a really big cliff/canyon, now it's pretty much a super deep lake cause there's an apocalypse happening in here and when i went back the water's already full lol. What's interesting tho was the water, it's black cause it's mixed with old memories that'd be forgotten. Totally not a safe place to swim :0

And thennnn there's my library of memories! It's like a- well library lol, it's another thing that i changed from the source tho. The shelves are woods and there are pretty vines decorating it! The memories tho aren't well organized lmao, also their shape is an orb like in the movie but i wanna change it into fireflies in a jar but idk yet, maybe a tiny orb in a jar, when i open it it'll be like a projection or sum

Then you keep going through the library then you'll find a tree house! Like REALLY big tree house. That's where the mind workers and some of my other friends lived in!

And you might find this extra space while exploring the library tho, i'm not really sure where it was located cause either if i go left or right i'd find it in less than 30 seconds (my mind's making it easier to find lol). Thing is it's a pretty cool place to chill out or having a break from the walk. The floor isn't like in library (pale cream/pink? Ground like in the movie), it's tiled with white small stones and in the middle of it there's a fountain. It's been here since the early days i made this place, i have no idea why it exist cause it's seriously not from the source and why even the heck i still remember it?

Ohhhh i forgot to add, there's this "restricted area" that exist not far from the library, means it's also near hq and the lake. It's restricted because it's full of triggering memories from my trauma, idk why it's collected in there but yeah. That's also where "it" lived, a being that idk WHEN i'll be able to get rid off and is very dangerous. It's trying to manipulate, gaslight, and shit talking me like thouuuuuusand times and it's seriously annoying!

Anyway from the outside it looks like a crack that made a hole, i made a slide so i wouldn't have to fall but in the end of it, it's all looking rusty, abandoned and old. In the bottom it looks like a cave with 4 or 5 doors in both left middle and right sides, in each doors there's a lamp above it, and the floor isn't the same as the ground outside it's pitch black. This place is also flooding a little, which make it more uncomfortable to walk in. I'd never wanted to go in there anymore :/

after i read some of your posts i realized that my inner world is so small compared to those who had forests, field, or hotel looking world haha. i wanna add these stuff tho, but i gotta think on WHERE do i wanna put it so i don't get lost too much in here. i'll give you more update when it's finished (if i'm confused i'll ask some stuff here though hehe)

A/N: Firstly, happy birthday to the Jeonghan, our con man. I know I'm a day late so forgive me for that. Secondly, I've no idea what the hell I wrote. I've cancelled two other drafts I wrote for his birthday cause none of them were coming together and in the end I've decided to post this shit. "What's Jeonghan doing here?" You hiss to Mingyu who has a hard time prying his eyes off of Chaeyeon. "I invited him. I never thought he'd actually come. I'm surprised too." He replies.

"Wha- why would you invite Jeonghan to my birthday party!" You glare at him to which he rolls his eyes, "Come on now, he's in our friend group. And college is almost over. You don't know when you'll see him again. Ogle him while he's still here." He smirks.

"What did you just s-"

"Oh come on, don't act like I don't know that he's your secret crush. Maybe make up with him and if you're lucky you'll get some good dick as a birthday present." Mingyu chuckles at your open mouth before scurrying away to avoid your wrath. You glare at his retreating figure before inhaling sharply. And before you can stop yourself, you start to look for him.

You spot Jeonghan at the large porch in the back of Mingyu's house, sitting in one of the porch seats while sipping beer. He looks dashing as always, his black hair messy, his pale skin glowing in the moonlight, his cheekbones getting a prominent shine. You sigh.

Jeonghan was an exhausting person to be around and maybe, he'd say the same for you. You've known him since highschool and after a particular incident of him spilling his banana milk all over your brand new scarf, you decided to call it war. To this day you believe that he did it on purpose because you told your homeroom teacher that he slept during his class.

After that it was like an unspoken rule- you two would bicker whenever you were in the same space. It only infuriated you that he was so good looking, smart, famous and the fact that you had some feelings developing for him. Each time you saw him with a girl you'd feel a bitter feeling all over and you could only hope that those feelings would pass over time. But no they didn't, they only grew- the small branches had formed a tree now, the roots planted deep in your heart.

"How long are you going to stand there and stare at me?" Jeonghan calls, without turning behind. You clear your throat before walking to him, "Didn't expect to see you here, fuck face."

"Can you not call me names for a day please? You're just jealous I'm good looking." He remarks drowning the can of beer.

You snort, "Haha. You wish, loser." You plop down beside him. "I see you've finished quite a few cans. What's up? Got ditched?" You poke him.

His words are true and they infuriate you. You can't help but get defensive, "What do you know, sad boy? I'm enjoying myself just fine."

"Stop saying that, will you!" You snap. Jeonghan chuckles before looking at you. He unabashedly eyes you up and down, heating your cheeks up in the process.

"Nice dress," he murmurs. His words catch you off guard and you glare at him, "Stop staring at me, pervert."

"You were staring at me earlier."

"Seriously? Can you stop for one goddamn second?"

"You're the one who started it."

"That's it. I shouldn't have come here," you stand up to leave but to your utter surprise Jeonghan grabs your hand, sending your heart to a frenzy. "Wait."

You frown, "You have a gift for me?" Jeonghan nods before sitting straight, setting down his can. "Before that, I need you to know something."

"I bought it that day after I stained yours. I was going to give this to you as an apology but dear lord, you were on my ass the second I got to class next day." Jeonghan speaks and a blush coats your cheek leaving you feel vulnerable all of a sudden.

"I don't know what to say," You whisper more to yourself. Jeonghan chuckles, "I know, you're touched. It's okay, we're even finally."

You bite your lip and exhale loudly before meeting his eyes, "Thanks." Jeonghan moves his hand in a dismissive wave. "I thought I'd finally give it you, call it a truce. We'll probably never see each other again after this month and I wanted to depart on good terms."

Your throat constricts, an overwhelming sadness enveloping you. He's right, you two would probably never see each other again. His dad owns a huge business and he'd probably go abroad to manage it.

"You're right, let's call it a truce," you whisper staring at the scarf in your lap.

"Come on now, don't look so sad, sad girl," Jeonghan teases you and you roll your eyes. He's still the same.

He hands you a beer, "Have a drink with me to sign the truce." You quietly laugh, taking the can from him. You two share a comfortable silence, staring at the night sky, the music from the party fading into the background until Jeonghan decides to break it.

"I know you like me, ___." The words slip past his lips like it's the most casual thing ever. You choke on your beer before looking at him eyes wide like saucers, "W-what!"

Jeonghan slightly turns to face you, his features calm, "You don't have to act. I've known all along."

Jeonghan runs a hand through his hair, sighing, "See? There you go again, running that damn mouth." Your lips press together as you clench your fists, thinking of a way out. In the blink of an eye Jeonghan scoots closer to you and leans in to capture your lips in a kiss.

“Let her go? You ruined what my men and I built for years; I'll take away what you cherish most in front you. And you can’t do anything to avoid it”

Joker's blood boiled with angry. How did he dare to hurt you?

"I won't warn you again, let her go right now, NOW!"

The guy, just for enjoying Joker's furious, put the knife down and cut your abdomen, you cried in pain. Joker went crazy, and when the knife stopped touching your skin, bullets were raining at your kidnapper.

You ran away, tripped and fell, but you could see Joker unloading the bullets on his enemy.
