Wood Engraving Wednesday

GERI WADDINGTON

These wood engravings are by English artist Geri Waddington (b. 1953), and are inserted into her brief essay about her visit to "French Papermakers & Other House Guests," published in Matrix 29 (Summer 2010), pp. 14-16, printed at John and Rosalind Randle’s Whittington Press in Risbury, Herefordshire, England in an edition of 725 copies.

Waddington describes her visits to Moulin du Verger, in Puymoyen, France, operated by proprietor and master papermaker Jacques Brejoux, Moulin de la Rouzique (now a museum) in Périgord, and the Moulin de Larroque in Couze-Saint-Front. Much of her narrative, however, dwells on the house she stayed at which had many other non-human residents, including doves and bats that live in "pigeoneer" holes and lizards that live in the walls, as reflected in these engravings. Other denizens included frogs, toads, hornets, masonry bees, and a barn owl. Waddington writes:

I am not sure if my blocks or my printing can do justice to these beautiful papers, but perhaps it is enough just to own some of these little pieces of history, mementos of a continuum of craftsmanship stretching back nearly five hundred years.

Geri Waddington trained in painting at the Slade School of Fine Art and started engraving in 1995. In 2001 she was elected a member of the venerable Society of Wood Engravers, and served as its chair in 2014.

Selena Gomez's Engagement as Represented By Destiny Matrix

Selena's Love Line consists of the program 19-7-15.

At 16 she has a soulmate entry with 7. That number continues to appear until the years 21 - 22.5 where she has 13 which indicates something coming to an end (The first end to her relationship with Justin Bieber) where she has the sequence 7-13.

7 in the negative position indicates the inability to overcome obstacles as well as arguments and quarrels. With that being her soulmate entry number as well, it shows these themes occurring within her relationships. 13 indicates endings and releases, ergo 7-13 would indicate the end and release of a relationship due to the inability to overcome obstacles.

The following year, Selena enters a 6-year period, which signifies the meeting of a potential romantic partner, which is the year that she met Benny Blanco.

At 29 she has her second soulmate entry with 19 which is when she reconnected with Benny Blanco.

Interestingly enough, he also has his second soulmate entry at 33-34 with the number 22 which aligns with Selena's chart.

Additionally, Selena and Benny recently got engaged under a 10 which is Selena's central energy AND Benny's Heart Chakra energy.

The idea of it, hence its name- is that instead of being an adult when the war begun and he was given the matrix, Optimus was the not-so- prepared-age of thirteen vorns old. DC Costume Timeline Links

As the internet gets harder and harder to search, I'm losing to access to one of its best features - sites by probably autistic people highlighting every costume a character has ever worn, down to issues where the boots got miscoloured.

I'm going to attempt to archive these sites. And also more normal sites that just provide good information. But I already can't find a lot of my former mainstays, so I'm asking for help if any of you know anything!

2 life paths don’t exist

there is no life path 2 in numerology because 0 equals 9 in numerology. this means if someone has a unreduced 20 life path they will still be an 11 life path because it’s the same as 29 (2+9=11). the only 2 energy that exists in numerology occurs when ur month + day number equals 2 (example: january 1st -> 1+1=2) or if ur literally born on the 2nd day of the month (example: jan 2, feb 2, march 2, etc). also if u were born in the year 2000

0 and 9 are connected because when u reduce a number containing 0 it will be the same if u replace it with a 9. example: the number 30 reduced is 3 (3+0=3) right? now replace the 0 with a 9. 39 (3+9=12->1+2=3). it reduces to the same number. this how they’re connected in the matrix

the original matrix had far less orbs so we will follow in gollov's footsteps and calculate only the energies she outlined in here book. we are dealing with 22 arcanas so if it equals 23 or more it must be reduced. i will wall you through the whole thing, but this is a rule that must be kept in mind when calculating your own chart.

i have labeled the matrix with letters so you can see where and what components create an energy in your chart!

so like at the time, this piece of merch had ppl like 👀👀 bc the concept and the graphic novel vibe and the way it said ‘to be continued’ had ppl thinking this might be a hint at a secret project!

and over the years, phil would keep hinting at wanting to channel his creative energies into a project, and how he'd love to do smth interactive like bandersnatch ! esp in 2019/early-2020:

in 'The Scary Reason I Didn't Buy A House' (april 2019), he said: "I do actually have a story in my head, I'm just not quite sure how I wanna tell it yet. So it could be a book, it could be like a TV series-style screenplay, it could be a movie script. I just need to consolidate all these ideas in my head and turn them into the thing. But I have been thinking about it for about five years, so it's just when the right time is to actually release the ideas."

in 'draw my life: part 2' (august 2019), he said: "maybe for the next secret big project, it's time for Philly to think about the big dreams he's always had! [...] What I've always dreamed of doing is writing stories and directing films to take what's in my mind and share it with the world on your screen, maybe even a bigger screen. Now remember the rule of secret projects! Who knows what's going on and if it'll ever be real, but let's just say some writing is happening."

in an interview from february 2020, he said that his plans for 2020 included: "a few projects on the burn which I'm not ready to announce fully yet. They all involve writing. There are some stories I'd like to tell, so with some hard work and a bit of luck I might be able to share these with you on-screen on in print next year."

in the TalentWorks podcast from vidcon london (february 2020) at about 29:35 (youtube link), he said: "I think I've reached a point where I'm ready to sink my teeth into a new big project [...] I'm ready to do something new that's also very Phil and very my own thing, so I've been looking into- I'm really obsessed with interactivity. I think there's been a big boom of it since Bandersnatch [...]. I already pitched one interactive thing which didn't work out, but I got a lot of other ideas that I'm thinking of."

and in one of the stereo shows, dnp also confirmed that they tried pitching an interactive show to netflix but it fell through cause of covid ! and there was this insta story of dan being in LA in january 2020, which aligns with the timeline mentioned in the podcast. a transcription of that stereo moment is here

so it was never confirmed whether the glitch hoodie was actually supposed to be smth greater or if it was just a fun merch idea, but it was a common fan theory that glitch was supposed to be one of phil's projects!
