I can be very socially awkward and insecure, especially in groups of people I don’t know that well. I can get overstimulated easily and will need time to recharge. Ah your runner ups are a mess! I hesitated a lot between Koko, Sanzu and Baji. Now I still wonder how Sanzu is a runner up with basically everyone…Anyways in the end, and after research, I settled on Baji!

Baji will give you princess treatment, plus your hair will be the best it ever looked. He’s protective, loyal, willing to sacrifice himself for you and is more stable than the other two. You can see it as them being closer to kings/princes but he’d be the knight in shining armor. Plus your adorable princess will have a place in his heart like Peke J.

Your meeting was funny. Baji decided to calm down a little from the gang life as it upset his mother a lot. Plus he had to get better grades. Somehow you got assigned as his tutor. Now you expected a delinquent…not loreal next hair model who’s polite but clumsy. Baji is clumsy in social situations, sometimes he’s a bit too honest which may upset people. At first you two clashed a lot and he just didn’t know how to speak with girls correctly. But at least he wanted his grades to get better! So that’s why you stuck around. He became nicer and more polite thanks to Emma and his mother coaching him. Did you see the infamous nerd Baji? Yes you did and thanks god you snapped him out of it. That’s how you got introduced to Peke J. A man who takes such good care of a cat can only be good.

Don’t worry, this weird friend zone moment will end soon. Actually it ended on the spring festival. Baji invited you. Considering how excited you were about dressing up for it, he let you chose his outfit and even his hairstyle. You insisted on paying so he insisted on paying for the food+ activities. That day, you two got mistaken for a couple so often that he decided to do something reckless. Yes he confessed under the fireworks. This could’ve gone very bad for him but I guess the weeks Emma spent coaching him to show his good side helped and you accepted.

Baji as I said before is a very loyal person. But he’s also very protective but at least not the stalker type. No if he has a problem he’ll tell you. Whether it’s a friend he’s suspicious about or somewhere you’re going alone that’s not safe. God forbids you tell him you’re going out to buy late at night. He’ll buy it and deliver it for you. If it’s an outing with friends he’ll just wish you to have fun and send him a goodnight message once you’re home or if you need him to drive you. Speaking of driving, he may be very reckless in his driving but if he got royal cargo (aka you) then suddenly he becomes the safest biker around. The gang is surprised every time they see that. I mean he went from forgetting to wear a helmet to custom making one for you as well as a jacket.

The original gang often tease that you tamed the wild beast that’s Baji. Which is kinda true. You once scolded him so bad for getting hurt that he’s now more cautious. He also let you decorate him as you want. As long as you don’t send pictures to the others…he still owes Mitsuya lunch and he’d never hear the end of it! You’re such a good influence on him that his mother adores you! Frankly, with her and you in the mix he may avoid his grim fate…

Baji is very insecure about how your parents may perceive him. You’re the apple of their eyes, he has a delinquent reputation. No matter how many times you tell them his heart is in the right place, it’s normal for them to disapprove. That’s why he does his best to appease them and no matter how many challenges and words they throw his way, he’ll do his best to prove them he’s worthy of you. Good thing he’s a gentleman who will do the right steps unconsciously. If I had given you koko he’d have tried to bribe them. Don’t get me started on Sanzu.

Baji loves coming to your window late at night with snacks and just chatting with you. And if you try to tackle him he’ll let you then playfully fight back. Between the thrill of being caught and just your presence, these moments shine bright in his memory. He’s also the type to drop everything if you called, even if it’s for an emotional reason. Baji will always be your shoulder to cry/vent on. He may not be good at comfort but he’ll try to make you smile and will make you feel validated! Which is what you need in these moments (I try to make them laugh. Apparently it’s not the best thing to do idk)

In the end, Baji is a very caring boyfriend who puts you on a pedestal (most of the time. If you do something bad he’ll tell you in private). He’s protective, caring and willing to change for better for your sake. Congrats, the knight became your prince.

Aelys Targaryen’s match has to be in every world is Aemond Targaryen. I was trying hard in every way I possibly could to provide you a match that wasn’t Aemond, but every technique I tried led to him (she does end up with him for a good reason after all). But lemme start with my reasons: Both Aelys and Aemond carry the weight of the Targaryen name, and their sense of pride in their Valyrian heritage runs deep. I do not see in anyway for Aelys to fall in love with someone who doesn’t already bear the Tarageryen name (even if she was not a Targaryen) — her pride would not stoop so ‘low’. In Aemond, Aelys would find a counterpart whose own pride drives him to clash with others. Aemond is someone who is used to being underestimated or overshadowed—by his eldest brothers even even his younger brother, by his half-sister, and by his status as the infamous second son of House Targaryen—and this struggle for recognition and I think it would somehow resonate somewhere in Aelys’ soul. She is loud and always grasps for any sort of attention, and she is of royal blood. But being born in a family of 14 children and as someone who isn’t the oldest nor the youngest, she has to figure and carve out her own self amidst her family. Aelys’ free-spirited nature would be at odds with Aemond’s more brooding demeanor (we love our local Emo though). Yet they both act in rash, Aelys on impulse and Aemond with some impulse, but a little bit more calculation. Aelys is quick to speak her mind, unafraid to express her emotions, and driven by an innate sense of justice that often leads her to act without thinking of the consequences. I think this might frustrate Aemond at times, who is far more careful in his actions and views the world with a more cynical lens. Yet, I think this constrast between one another with blossom and be some sort of a foundation for their relationship. Aelys’ unflinching loyalty to those she loves would speak on some level Aemond, who, beneath his pride and ambition, has a more vulnerable side that he guards, but he is still a man who puts family above anything else (I’m so sorry Aemond. You would never betray your family and I am still quite upset at Condall’s decision at Rook’s Rest). While Aelys’s passion and wildness would draw him in, Aemond’s intensity and this quiet strength he builds inside him would challenge her in ways that she would find both infuriating yet thrilling. Both Aelys and Aemond are extremely protective of their families, though they show this loyalty in different ways. Aelys would defend her loved ones and, when angered, would go to extreme lengths (murder) to protect them, prolly also using her social standing to make sure that those who wrong her or her family are humiliated or punished in the worst possible manner. Aemond, though perhaps way less fiery in his methods, also has a loyalty to his family and is willing to do whatever it takes to safeguard its future—this sense of duty and ambition to prove his worth to his family is similar to Aelys, who also values the protection and well-being of those she cares about. Aelys and Aemond both have a sense of intense pride, not just in their bloodline and pure blood, but in their skills. Aemond’s skill as a dragonrider—his bond with the mighty Vhagar—mirrors Aelys’ love of dragon riding and her mount, Cannibal. They are both the blood of Old Valeria and Aelys would see in Aemond the same fire and ambition that she feels in herself. Have I yet to mention how obsessive each individual is? Because it would create such a fascinating relationship. Where Aelys’s emotions run hot and fast, Aemond’s tend to smolder beneath the surface. They would help one another embrace this new side of themselves (also can you imagine a new au with them where they did not grow up as children, but met later in life? THE TENSION? THE RIVALRY? I’ll stop myself here,) Can you tell I love this ship?

HEADCANONS

The dragons always seem to dance and people would scramble in fear or look in awe as Aelys sat atop her dragon soaring through the sky with Aemond behind her. Aelys is a competitive and Aemond is not one to turn down a challenge when faced with one. This leads to them at times to race their dragons through the sky. Aemond has the bigger dragon, everyone knew that. But Aelys’ dragon was slightly smaller and quicker than Vhagar. And Aelys never lets him forget that and always insist that they must race. Aemond had definitely got to the point at one point that he knew that Vhagar would not win, but the sweet smile plastered on Aelys’ face was worth every loss to the one eyed prince.

Aemond was one to not showcase his emotions freely, even restricting some of his feelings in-front of Aelys. In the beginning of their relationship, he would not shed a tear in front of her. It felt humiliating. One day, Aemond had promised Aelys he would attend the ball hosted by the Tyrell to celebrate Lord and Lady Tyrell 20th anniversary and Aelys, in such excitement, got all dressed up. Whenever Aemond asked what she would wear, she would giggle at him and tell him it’s a ‘secret’. The day of their departure, he sat by himself in the carriage before Aelys scrambled in cladded in an azure dress decorated in sapphires. That is when it clicked him. She wore this for him. His sapphire eye was not someone he held dear to his heart at all, yet at this moment where the Maiden incarnated in front of him wore it proudly. Tears prickled at the corner of his eye and he quickly blinked them away. It was stupid of him cry. Right? Well, Aelys laughed at him for a few hours so it must have been.

Aemond may be a second son, but that phrase does not deny that he is part of the royal family. Money is handed to him in his hands whenever he wants it. And there is nothing that will ever stop him from buying the most extravagant things for Aelys. Whenever he comes across any rare gems, he has them designed by specialists and created by only the best blacksmiths JUST so he can give it to Aelys and see her laugh in happiness. He would waste all the money there is in his coffers if it meant seeing her smile. And while he loves to give her big gifts, sometimes he would see a bouquet of roses and think of her immediately (he obviously buys it and leaves it on her bed as a surprise!)

Ok, perhaps you are thinking why I have included a Targaryen banner, despite stating the words of House Martell? Let me tell you the lore I created! I could not imagine a world she is not a Targaryen — she has this madness and fire kindling in her heart that can not be mistaken for any other house. But she was also a Martell! Free, sassy, rebellious and luxurious — all traits known in Martells. (I apologize for how short the explanation is, it makes sense in my head, but I do not know how to explain it!) In this universe, Queen Alysanne sent her daughter, Vissera, to marry the Dornish King in hopes of creating a stronger alliance between both nations. And their son, Qoren Martell married a Dayne women and from this union came 14 children with Aelys being the 3rd child.

DRAGON

I think Vermithor would the best choice for Aelys! They are both fiery and unapologetic, while sharing this fierce devotions for one another and their beloved ones. Vermithor is a beast of strength and loyalty and defiance — he would not let anyone harm Aelys in anyway. Like Aelys, Vermithor is a free individual and refused to be claim by anyone unless they truly impressed him (similar to Aelys’ own picky nature). While Aelys is more passionate, Vermithor would be a more grounding presence and not burn everything Aelys wants him to. That is unless they Vermithor has been upset by something too.

RELATIONSHIPS

ALICENT HIGHTOWER is a mother figure of sort to her. Aelys loves her Dayne mother above anything else, but when Aelys claimed Vermithor at the tender age of 7, she was sent to ward under King Viserys. Alicent, at first, only feared that Rhaenyra would try to wed Aelys to Jacerys ans she could not, in no universe, allow Rhaenyra to have Vermithor as it will only make her stringer during the Dance. So Alicent swiftly engages her own son, Aemond, to Aelys. It was pure political at first, but Alicent grew softer towards the young girl — she was alone and a stranger to this world just like how Alicent had been when she first came to the Red Keep. Alicent immediately took Aelys under her wing after that.

CASSANDRA BARATHEON is one of Aelys’ closest friend. Alicent had decided that it was only fitting for Aelys to have her own lady-in-waiting now that she is to marry a Targaryen Prince and she had already been a Martell Princess at home. Cassandra was the first one sent to Aelys and her closest one too. In Cassandra, the two could gossip, dress up, go to balls and all the other things ladies did back then. They are the prettiest and judgiest of besties

JACERYS ‘VELARYON’ is not one Aelys is fond of. Aelys believes in the superiority of certain blood over others and Jace is a bastard? Aelys is not afraid to show her distaste towards him the second she heard rumors of her engagement with him. She was a princess! And she will remain so. Although this hatred is not only reserved for Jace, but RHAENYRA TARGARYEN too. Something about her had always ticked Aelys off. Why was this spoiled princess trying to ruin her life and make her marry a bastard!? And when the incident at Driftmark occurred, Aelys had felt nothing but hatred towards Rhaenyra. When the king was not around, she would vocalize her hatred at the ‘Mother of Bastard’?
