I just realized I never described how I pictured all the characters looking in their monster forms in this post.

Jon is large, vaguely owl looking in appearance, with eyes dotting his feathers. His feathers are mostly a sort of dusty brown but there's also a lot of grey because this man is so very stressed. The eyes sometimes glow green but only when he's using his powers or really upset.

He was changed at a very young age but it's been so long for him that he often lies and claims he was born to this life. No one questions it but there are some that can't help but doubt him.

Elias/Jonah is similar to Jon, though his form is looks much more like a peacock and is much smaller, closer in size to human body. He's elegant, with a lot of greens and blues, constantly preening and always watching with the many eyes he's covered in.

He was born to this life and had been alive for so long that he's actively had to change his identity more than once.

Sasha is a living marionette. Carved out of very dark wood, with ball joints and hair made of yarn that she occasionally changes out depending on the look she's feeling that day.

She was painstakingly crafted and then given life. In this way she is unmistakably recognized as a naturally born monster, though she is also in many ways a created monster.

Tim is a lycanthrope. Thick, dark fur with amber eyes and a lot of muscle when he finds himself drawn to hunt. His teeth and claws are equally intimidating too, though he normally puts on a front, carrying himself with the demeanor of a golden retriever.

He was changed by members of the circus. Tim watched them change his brother, much to his horror, before he was also infected. Unlike Danny, he ran. His confusion and terror made him into a beast, which he still has a hard time handling.

Martin starts this story human but eventually he asks Jon to change him and after a great deal of reluctance, he finally does. His monstrous form is a massive minotaur, with a lot of ginger fur and large horns.

He's self conscious about his new form at first but Jon is absolutely smitten and finds him adorable.

I know of Tubbo. The way he operates that restaurant, I understand why working under him would have required such... [Laverna's face pinches.] managing. Though, running a country from behind a marionette is an excellent way to grow a president, I'm sure.

i don't, like. hate tubbo. it's-- he's been through plenty, and i know i could've gone about it better, but. i don't know. whatever.

but i was still stupid. thought i could simultaneously turn shit around and make things better while shooting myself in the foot. then people started getting executed, and the laws tightened up, and paranoia bled into every single particle of air. so.

and— honestly, there was reason for the paranoia, thanks to pogtopia. rebellions, conspiracies, all that. cuz, uh, they were the initial party that schlatt and i exiled from manburg— the people in charge before we showed up and won the election. i . . joined them, eventually. ha.

after a few months to about a year, i think, there was a war, shit went down, wilbur fucking died, and so did schlatt. one blew up the country and killed himself with it, the other had a heart attack and nobody shed a tear for him.

it's. whew. holy shit, it really was that insane.

As I said yesterday I'm going to do a new version of Rin's team (I changed one pokemon lol)

Most of the explanation are copied frome the original post

Decidueye: for the starter I choose Decidueye because owl are Rin's favorite animals (in the recent chapter you can see that when he was a child he a had a little owl plushie 🥹)

Masquerain: for the recent chapter Nomura said that Rin's eyes look like Masquerain so I decided to put it in the team for fun ahahaha

Glaile: I think Glaile looks like Rin, maybe for the ayes or for the angry expression, but I honestly think that Rin would like this Pokémon because it's kind of scary

Banette: this is the marionette Pokémon and I think it matches the Rin's title of a puppeteer

Tyranitar: from me the chapter where Rin's background is explained we can see that he was really fascinated by the monster of the cartoon/anime he watched and wanted to be like the monster, so Tyranitar, the pokemon that is inspired by godzilla, who also resambles the monster that was shown in the chapter feels perfect for Rin

Giratina: for the legendary I choose giratina because I think its behavior matches Rin's, as in they both manipulate their surroundings to their liking
