Murder by Choice comic/fic where it’s like those reincarnation manhwas where the MC goes back in time to right some wrongs and it’s Carla going back in time to the start of the game in the plane.
One, she has to pretend that she doesn’t know that Margot is an Overseer and straight up evil.
Two, she could try prevent the deaths on the island, easiest being Lukas, his being an accident, hardest probably being Portia’s bc Margot was hunting down Genetica info she thought Portia had access to.
Three, realising Freddie would still be getting blackmailed bc of Elena’s death that he caused.
Four, debating whether or not to warn Ruben from introducing the group to Haven.
Five, Carla having to act normal bc the vacation didn’t start off with Lukas dying so the stay isn’t tainted with death (at least in the beginning.
Six, Carla realising that Margot could’ve had dirt on other people, she doesn’t know who might be being blackmailed if she manages to skirt Freddie away from that fate. (Janet and her ghostwriters, Jax and his Mafia debts, maybe something else unknown about another character?)
Seven, just bc (if) she manages to save the ones who died previously, that might not save them, and/or someone else could meet a similar gruesome fate. (Probably again, Lukas, Portia, maybe Mrs Bird, and Q too, I could see Margot going after the employees as they would be the most loyal to Ruben to keep him safe. Hell, maybe Margot would deduce that Carla was interfering and tries to take her out personally, not using Freddie in the lighthouse if he’s come forward with his grievous mistake.) (no one is safe even if no one has died so far is my reasoning. I could even see using Dr Kat or Janet as a hostage, since they’re the arguably the most innocent in all of this.)
(Maybe this whole thing could be just some regular ‘godlike being intervened’ or it could straight up be an ‘unforeseen side effect of Genetica’ and maybe some of Genie’s dna got into Carla’s system and reacted like this. Who the fuck knows, but I want this to be a thing bc genuinely I would’ve loved to see a different path, where we could’ve saved people in the game, but I understand that the company wanting to make more chapters means there has to be some sort of continuity.)

Confession: I was addicted to this app instantly. It has great storyline, sound effects and good graphic. Kudos to the artist, writers and app developer. I highly recommended this to those who love murder mystery visual novel games that don't revolve around romance.
Favorite character: Portia(surprisingly), Katharine, Margot, Freddie, and Mrs Bird
Least favorite: Q, and Janet
Hated: Jax
Even the mini games are fun to play and challenging.
Cut scenes are good.
The voices they use fits each characters.
Suggestion: I hope the next protagonist will be male though I know it would be Carla again, I hope not. I hope there will be more jumpscare.
I can't wait for the next chapter!
Why this app is so underrated?

Sophie's Hon Vol. VII Hot Girl Summer Edition 🔥🍹☀️
It's a Hot Girl Summer as Sophie's living an idyllic Summer with her Hon & best friends 😎
SPRITZ UP YOUR SUMMER
In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, while promoting St-Germain's Hugo Spritz, Sophie told us her recipe for a Hot Girl Summer:
“My recipe for a hot girl summer is pretty much playing with my kids [Willa, three, and Delphine, one], hanging out with my best friends, drinking some cocktails—you know, which ones—and enjoying the sun, long may it last. As long as the sun’s out, I’m a happy chap,” Turner says, looking, indeed, like a happy chap. —Harper's Bazaar
And that's precisely what she's doing this Summer, enjoying the sun at green polo lawns, presenting trophies to polo winners, having barbecues and lot of spritzes with her besties, and canoodling with her boyfriend in corners at music festivals. Let's see:
PIGGYBACK RIDE 🏇
Short after Sophie posted a few pics of her romantic picnic with Perry in the English countryside, the British & international press made public more pics from that day.
The pics are from June 29, 2024, during a day of polo at Cowdray Park Polo Club, part of Perry's family estate in West Sussex.
In the pictures we can see Perry taking Sophie on a piggyback ride across the polo lawns, joined by one of Perry's sisters:
Ahhh the perks of having a very tall boyfriend . . . .
~~~
It's worth to note that the last picture went viral on social media!!! 👏👏👏
~~~
The lovebirds were also seen holding hands & hugging:
~~~
PAPA SALT
On July 10, 2024, Sophie and Perry were seen leaving Margot Robbie's launch party for her new Gin brand "Papa Salt" at Roof Gardens in London:
Perry's bestie & roomie Sascha von Bismarck and girlfriend Ella Richards were there too.
~~~
QUEEN OF LOVE AND BEAUTY 👑🏆🏇
Rowena had no sooner beheld him than she uttered a faint shriek; but at once summoning up the energy of her disposition, and compelling herself, as it were, to proceed, while her frame yet trembled with the violence of sudden emotion, she placed upon the drooping head of the victor the “splendid chaplet which was the destined reward of the day, and pronounced in a clear and distinct tone these words: “I bestow on thee this chaplet, Sir Knight, as the meed of valour assigned to this day’s victor.” Here she paused a moment, and then firmly added, “And upon brows more worthy could a wreath of chivalry never be placed!” The knight stooped his head and kissed the hand of the lovely Sovereign by whom his valour had been rewarded; and then, sinking yet farther forward, lay prostrate at her feet. —IVANHOE: A Romance
There are not medieval tourneys anymore, but I think a polo match is close enough!
On Sunday, July 21, 2024, Sophie and Perry were seen together again at Cowdray Park Polo Club, in West Sussex, attending the final match of the British Open for the Cowdray Gold Cup.
The event was so packed that Sophie had to sit on Perry's lap 🤭
A very comfortable seat it seems . . . . 😉
Which reminds me of a funny interaction I found on twitter about the last picture, where someone mentioned that Perry "is touching some sideboob" 😜😂 But they are right 👀🤭
~~~
During the half time the lovebirds were seen is high spirits and chatting with friends.
Here with Tabby Doherty:
Here with Taura Lamb, Rupert Gorst and Ella Richards:
Here with Taura Lamb and Ellie Johnson:
Here with Taura Lamb (*) and Tabby Doherty:
(*) Taura Lamb's fiancé, Jesse Burgess, was also there.
Also in attendance were some of Perry's closest friends since childhood.
~~~
At the end of the match Sophie and Perry approached the podium to watch the awards ceremony . . . .
~~~
. . . . And here came the biggest surprise of the day: Sophie was in charge of presenting the Gold Cup to the winners, as well as other prizes to all the players.
Indeed! Emulating the fair ladies awarding the jousting champions from medieval times, Sophie played the role of the Queen of Love and Beauty and presented the Gold Cup to the champion team:
~~~
Among the former female presenters of the Gold Cup we have:
The Viscountess Cowdray on duty, like Perry's mother and paternal grandmother.
Members of the Pearson Family like Eliza & Emily Pearson (Perry's sisters) and Amanda Pearson (Perry's sister in law).
Sarah (Ferguson), Duchess of York.
Diana (Spencer), Princess of Wales.
Elizabeth (Windsor) II, Queen of the United Kingdom.
Sansa Stark is proudly smiling somewhere!!!
~~~
After presenting the Gold Cup, Sophie and Perry stayed a bit longer watching the end of the prize-giving ceremony, and later left the green polo lawns hand in hand:
~~~
In these videos you can see the whole award ceremony:
youtube

The gentleman walking behind the lovebirds is Perry's father, Michael Pearson, the Viscount Cowdray.
Also in attendance were Perry's younger brother, as well as some of his auncles, aunts, cousins and nieces.
~~~
At the end of the previous video a fan runs to Sophie to ask her for a picture. In this one you can see the fan getting his picture with Sophie, while Perry waits for her:
instagram
I can't get over the hand holding 😍
~~~
Months later, Tatler Magazine reported about Sophie's presenting the Gold Cup Trophy in its November 2024 issue:
KNACK IN THE SADDLE ‘She brought the glamour,’ a socialite gossiped about Sophie Turner, who attended the Gold Cup Final at Cowdray in a chic Louis Vuitton shorts suit and heels alongside her boyfriend, Perry Pearson. Indeed, the Game of Thrones star was the talk of the town, the toast of which had gathered at the Pearson family seat to watch the Dubai polo team take the win. The great and good of West Sussex had turned out in force, including Clare Milford Haven and her newly married daughter, Louisa. Hedgefund billionaire Louis Bacon arrived in style, helicoptering in with his wife, Gabrielle, and his Alsatian. Meanwhile, Aidan Christofferson’s glass-bubble chopper had the polo set buzzing. But Turner stole the show, receiving a great whoop from the crowd as she presented the cup. Queen in the North? More like Queen of Cowdray. —Tatler UK
And thanks to the camera of Hubert Cecil we have a new pic of the lovebirds:
Queen of Cowdray, indeed!
~~~
A TOKEN OF LOVE ❤️
On a recent Q&A with The Cut, Sophie talked about having a Brat Girl Summer:
Are you having a hot-girl summer? I mean, I’d like to think I’m having a hot-girl summer. But I don’t know if you can say that about yourself. I feel like I am, though. Or maybe even a Brat-girl summer? Yeah, I think I’m having more of a Brat-girl summer. I don’t fully understand what it means, but I am listening to the album. So I guess that counts as me having a Brat-girl summer. —The Cut
And indeed she's listening to Charli XCX's "Brat" Album: On Saturday, July 27, 2024, she posted an IG story titled "Brat Summer Unlocked," where we can see her dancing to the rhythm of Charli XCX's Apple with her besties:
~~~
I was super glad to know that Sophie was having quality time with her best friends, but what really caught my eyes was the long, gold necklace she was wearing in the video. Because I think that's Perry's Cowdray necklace, the one with his family estate sigil logo:
But the really cute detail about Sophie wearing her boyfriend's necklace is that, according to the tale a little bird told me, Perry wasn't in the UK that weekend, since he was staying with his family in another country. So he basically left his necklace with his girl as a token of love during his absence.
They are too sweet, I swear I can't 😭
~~~
A WEEKEND IN THE WILDERNESS
On the first weekend of August 2024, The Gentleman's Journal hosted a Summer event that started with a Lunch at Blenheim Palace, a visit to the Wilderness Festival, and accommodation at Estelle Manor.
There's no pictures of Sophie and Perry at Blenheim Palace, just a few pics of Perry with some of his friends, including Rupert Gorst and Sascha von Bismarck. But Rupert & Sascha are precisely the ones that Sophie captured on an IG Story at the Wilderness Festival:
~~~
Later, thanks to the Daily Mail, we got some pictures of Sophie at the IHG Hotels & Resorts “Into the Wild” bash at the Wilderness Festival:
~~~
And we may not have pictures of the lovebirds during that weekend, but thanks to British Vogue, The Standard and HELLO! UK, we have a few reports of them together at the Wilderness Festival:
Sophie Turner, for her part, picked a low-key combination of linen shirt, tiny shorts and trainers, her blonde hair thrown up in a claw clip. The former British Vogue cover star was keeping a low-profile at the festival with her boyfriend, Peregrine Pearson (“I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time,” Turner told Chioma Nnadi in June – and she looked it), but her denim Louis Vuitton shoulder bag was a dead giveaway. —Vogue
While cerebral literary talks and panels took place on one side of the festival, most celebs were to be found at an array of VIP events held by Wilderness sponsors. IHG Hotels threw a daytime bash on Saturday complete with a roving fortune teller, a silhouette artist and two tiny people dressed up as topiary hedges. Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner was canoodling her aristo boyfriend Peregrine Pearson in one corner, while Professor Green held court in another. —The Standard
Other hot contenders for best celebrity spotting was Audi’s space, where James Norton, Professor Green and Millie Mackintosh bunkered down, as well as the IHG Hotels & Resorts “Into the Wild” bash, graced by Sophie Turner and her aristo boyfriend Peregrine “Perry” Pearson, Cara’s sister Chloe Delevigne, Jaimie Winstone and dancer Eric Underwood. —The Standard
Stars embraced whimsical chic during a weekend of luxury escapism at the annual Wilderness Festival, held in Oxfordshire’s Cornbury Park. Actress Jaime Winstone, socialite Chloe Delevingne and Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, with her boyfriend Peregrine Pearson, were just some of the famous names enjoying music from Michael Kiwanuka, Faithless and Jessie Ware. (...) Guests later danced the night away at the festival’s music venues The Hustle and The Valley, as well as celebrity spot The Riddle, where Sophie and Peregrine were seen looking loved up among revellers including model Jodie Kidd and presenter Natalie Pinkham. —HELLO! UK
Keeping a low profile and canoodling in corners, huh? 👀🤭
Good for them!
~~~
And finally, a few days later thanks to Sophie's friend Taura Lamb's fiancé, we got a better picture of Sophie at Estelle Manor during that weekend:
~~~
Actress Nadia Parkes, another one of Sophie's best friends, was also at the Wilderness Festival with her boyfriend during that weekend.
I hope they all had a blast!
~~~
And this is all for this report. I will be updating this post as new Summer content appears!

A hard as nails cop reluctantly teams up with a wise-cracking criminal temporarily paroled to him, in order to track down an escaped convict cop killer. The mismatched buddy buddy formula exploded onto the screen here in a ball of violence, profanity and pin sharp one liners. It also launched Eddie Murphy into 1980s stardom. Directed by Walter Hill and starring Nick Nolte alongside Murphy as part of an electrifying black and white double act, it’s unrelenting in pace and bad attitude. It could have been so different though, with the likes of Stallone, Reynolds, Pryor and Hines attached at various times for lead parts, it now is written in folklore that Murphy got the break and grasped it with both hands (he was actually fired at one point mind!). Thankfully the problems behind the scenes were resolved to give us a classic of its type. A big success for Paramount it paved the way for more choice same formula pictures in the decade, but few were able to be so course and daring with the racial divide explosions. Murphy is outstanding, quick as an A.K. 47 in vocal d...

Monday Merriment
Infusing grandeur into otherwise drab Mondays with five things/ideas/events for the week.
1. Yesterday was the laziest kind of Sunday. One where you think you’re going to a friend’s for brunch, but don’t find yourself in a Lyft home until twelve hours later... A girlfriend from high school moved back to the city after a stint in the peninsula over the summer, and has been giving me a run for my hostess money ever since. Hosting several of our friends at least once per week, Rachel has quickly become an expert in creating beautiful environments in her Pacific Heights home. She outdid herself this weekend, when she planned both a casual brunch and an Oscars dinner party. I opted to attend only the brunch portion, but became consumed by our vision for the ultimate Oscar-watch cheese board, and decided to stay for the show.
Post-eggs and mimosas, Rachel and I ventured to Mollie Stone’s, where we curated enough items to render the Rich Table chicken she ordered obsolete. Here’s how to recreate: four cheeses (we did one hard sheep with truffle, one soft honey-infused goat, a triple creme from Cowgirl Creamery, and a classic aged white cheddar). Four fruits (grapes, blackberries, pomegranate seeds, and sliced kumquats). Four spreads (red pepper jelly, honey, quince, and fig jam). Four nuts (pistachio, spiced pecans, regular almonds and the marcona version). Three vehicles (Acme sourdough, fig olive crisps, and Rustic Bakery olive oil + sel gris flatbread crackers). Two cured meats (salami and prosciutto). Two olives (nicoise and castelvetrano). And one ramekin of cornichons (adorable baby French pickles).
2. I similarly spent my Valentine’s evening at Rachel’s, but in a slightly less collaborative fashion. Rachel made dinner, while I spent the afternoon preparing dessert at my apartment. I hadn’t made a cake in a while, so decided to riff on Violet Bakery’s lemon elderflower masterpiece for Harry and Meghan’s wedding. I did an almond fromage blanc (like creme fraiche but made with milk rather than cream for a more tart base) cake, with lemon curd filling and an elderflower meringue buttercream (more stiff and less sweet than a traditional buttercream). The result was to die for. I’m still kicking myself for not taking a piece home for breakfast the next day.
Here’s the recipe: Cake Ingredients - two boxes white cake mix, one cup St. Germain elderflower liqueur, one cup fromage blanc (or sour cream), six egg whites, 1.5 cups vegetable oil, one tablespoon almond extract. Cake Instructions - combine all ingredients with electric beaters or Kitchenaid mixer, then divide between four greased 9-inch round pans and bake for twenty-five minutes at 350 degrees. Lemon curd filling (or substitute two jars of store-bought curd). Buttercream (follow this recipe, but add three tablespoons of St. Germain elderflower liqueur and one teaspoon of almond extract at the very end before you’re finished combining). Assembly instructions here.
3. While perusing what’s new for fall on the couture runways, one item was so reminiscent of a 2019 Margot Tenenbaum, I was surprised they didn't hire the Goop queen herself to debut the look. The enigmatic character was rarely seen in the film sans oversized sable fur coat, and this Oscar de la Renta crystal embellished mink would surely be coveted by the character if she were sitting front row last week. The fur also reminded me of the iconic Scalamandre wallpaper line featured in the Royal Tenenbaums. With an unfriendly price-point, the zebra and tiger prints are inaccessible for most. Luckily, Christiane Lemieux’s affordable design company The Inside partnered with Scalamndre to offer furniture and throw pillows in the epochal prints. I’m currently vacillating between the yellow skirted zebra ottoman and coral screen for my apartment...
4. Speaking of aspirational prints, none hold a candle to the ultimate in print-chic de Gournay. The intricate hand-painted vignettes can be found everywhere from the designer’s wallpaper, textiles, and dishware to their partnership with Aquazzura for luxe footwear. Though, I never imagined using the brand’s designs as wedding decor, which is exactly what Chloe Richards and Lee Rubinstein did for their summer wedding in the Hamptons. Every part of the celebration was touched by de Gournay - from the invitations to the bride’s custom Giambattista Valli gown. The most impressive bit came in the form of a solution to traditionally dowdy reception tents. Impressively, de Gournay wallpaper served as inspiration for the hand-painted tent walls, to stunning effect. Given that I have neither a fiance nor a de Gournay budget, the aesthetic may be out of reach for me - but that won’t stop me from daydreaming about it the rest of the week...
5. Curator George T. M. Shackelford, of the Kimball Art Museum in Texas, is an expert in late 19th Century French art due to his Yale PhD and nearly four decades of museum work. Recently, he put together an intriguing look at the last decade of Monet’s life, on exhibition at the de Young Museum until May 27th. During the period, Monet painted portions of his five-acre estate in a small village outside of Paris called Giverny. The collection focuses on Monet’s interpretation of natural phenomena, ranging from the widely-known watery lily pads to more vivid pieces depicting the bright florals directly next to his home. Save the date for the ArtPoint gala celebrating the exhibition on April 27th (tickets go on sale next week)!
Have a wonderful week! xx tt

Nina Dobrev attended the 2nd Annual Maison St-Germain Event at Little Beach House in Malibu.
Ilaria Urbinati isn’t her stylist anymore. Her new stylist is Kate Young, Margot Robbie and Selena Gomez’s stylist. The change is very notable, her style has become more mature during the last couple of events.
Here she’s wearing a white lace Altuzarra dress, with Alumnae silver sandals and a golden clutch. I like this look it’s very summery and appropriate for the event. The only thing I would change is the color of the clutch. I don’t like mixing silver and metal.

'Outlander': 5 burning questions from the finale
Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe in Outlander (Photo: Starz)
Warning: This post contains spoilers for the “Eye of the Storm” episode of Outlander, as well as the book Drums of Autumn.
Due respect to Titanic‘s red-hot lovers Jack and Rose, but Jamie and Claire Fraser showed what it really means to never let go on Sunday night’s Season 3 finale. The climax of “Eye of the Storm” finds the couple’s ship, the Artemis, being battered about by a blustery storm that dumps Claire over the side and into the briny deep. As she sinks to a watery grave, she leaves thoughts of survival aside and seems to embrace the “quiet happiness” of the great beyond. But Jamie’s not about to let her be the Jack Dawson in this romance. Diving after her, he steals an underwater kiss before bringing her back to the surface, where they cling to debris from the ship as the titular storm’s eye passes overhead. Unlike Rose, Jamie ensures there’s room enough for the two of them.

That rescue capped an eventful hour that bid farewell to one major Outlander character (Geillis Duncan, now minus a head), saw the rescue of another (Young Ian Fraser, Jamie’s trouble-prone nephew) and left the Frasers washed up on the shore of a new world with new adventures in store. But even with all of that incident, “Eye of the Storm” didn’t have time to answer everything. Here are the five burning questions we’re left with about how Season 3 ended and how Season 4 might begin. (Spoiler alert: We may have peeked ahead in Diana Gabaldon’s book series — including the fourth novel, Drums of Autumn — for some early answers.)
How long until Jamie and Claire are back on Scottish soil? After being away from Scotland for 20 years, Claire barely had time to enjoy her adopted land’s finest print shops and brothels, before embarking on a high-seas adventure to the Caribbean. And now her return trip has deposited her in another one of her adopted homes: the future United States of America. Following the hurricane, she and Jamie wash up on the shores of the colony of Georgia, and while the rest of their traveling party — including Young Ian, as well as newlyweds Fergus and Marsali — aren’t on their portion of the beach, a local family helpfully informs them that the remains of the Artemis aren’t too far away. Scotland may be far away, but Claire could take Jamie on a tour of her Boston stomping grounds … 200 years before she’s actually a Beantown resident.
Don’t expect their sojourn in colonial America to be over quickly. While there are Scotland-set sequences in Drums of Autumn, they don’t involve the Frasers, who remain in the colonies, if not necessarily in Georgia, for the foreseeable future. “It really does shift the whole foundation of the show to the American colonies,” Outlander executive producer Ronald D. Moore told Deadline in a postmortem interview. “The show’s always going to have a foot in Scotland. It’s not going to completely abandon, like, Lallybroch and Inverness and some of the stories back there, but you know the balance of the story and the weight of the story is definitely going to be in America from now on.”

Will there be a mother and child reunion? Claire and her daughter, Brianna, may not be in the same city — let alone the same century — anymore, but she’s still a fiercely protective mother. Heck, she’s even willing to commit murder to keep her child safe. Having learned that Brianna is the 200-year-old child referenced in Margaret and Archibald’s prophecy promising the rise of a Scottish king, Geillis promptly sets about offering up Young Ian as a sacrifice so that she can slip back through the time stream to the present day and spill some 20th century Fraser blood. Luckily for the unsuspecting Brianna, Claire allows her daughter to keep her head by separating Geillis from hers.
That’s something Brianna can thank her mom for when they meet again. Because even though they went their separate ways in Season 3’s fifth episode, convinced they’d never see each other again, circumstances in the present day will necessitate a trip to the past for both Brianna and her beau, Roger Wakefield, whose own family tree traces back to William Buccleigh MacKenzie, the illegitimate spawn of the temporary union between Geillis and Dougal MacKenzie. We hope Brianna brings her own “bat dress,” along with plenty of extra penicillin, on her way through the stones.
Are there other time travelers? “I’ve never met another time traveler — only you,” Geillis tells Claire in “Eye of the Storm.” That’s partly true. Neither Geillis, nor Claire, has consciously met another person who has journeyed back through the centuries. Nevertheless, it’s a big world out there, and there are several time jumpers in it, two of whom we actually met in Season 2. That would be Master Raymond and the Comte St. Germain, who were part of the France-set storyline that dominated the first half of that season’s story arc. At the time, neither man made Claire aware that they were all three part of a secret time travelers’ club—and they haven’t crossed paths with her since—but Gabaldon has made it clear in separate novellas that they’ve each visited different eras and had their own adventures.
Claire will be able to say that she’s met another time traveler besides Geillis — and mean it — when Brianna makes her time jump in Drums of Autumn. (And should the show reach the sixth novel, A Breath of Snow and Ashes, both mother and daughter will encounter a time traveler by the name of Wendigo Donner.) And while she takes the same route to the past that her mother did via the stones at Craigh na Dun, “Eye of the Storm” revealed that there are other time portals scattered around the globe. Geillis, for example, plans to dive through a glowing pool located deep within the Abandawe cave. Future books reveal that other gates to the past and future can be found on North Carolina’s Ocracoke Island, as well as Hadrian’s Wall in England and Loch Errochty in the Scottish Highlands. Forget pub crawls — the next big thing in tourism should be time-portal crawls.
Duncan Lacroix as Murtagh in Outlander (Photo: Starz)
Where’s Murtagh? Jamie’s right-hand man, Murtagh Fraser, was never supposed to survive the Battle of Culloden. But the show departed from the novels in a major way by granting his bearded brother-in-arms a reprieve, much to the relief of fans and actor Duncan Lacroix. Murtagh and Jamie encountered each other again at Ardsmuir Prison, where Jamie kept a careful watch over his sickly friend. “It’s a big role reversal,” Lacroix told Yahoo Entertainment. “Murtagh has always looked after Jamie, and Jamie’s the one now taking care of him.”
Unfortunately, Jamie wasn’t able to protect Murtagh from being shipped off to the colonies along with the rest of Ardsmuir’s prison population. But now that the duo appear to be on the same continent again, a reunion has to be in the offing. And one way that could come about is if Murtagh replaces a character fans know from the books: Duncan Innes. Also an Ardsmuir prisoner, Duncan joins Claire and Jaime on their mission to rescue Young Ian, and stays with them as they build a life in the colonies. He also meets and marries Jocasta Cameron, Jamie’s aunt, who runs a plantation in North Carolina. It’s already been announced that Orphan Black‘s Maria Doyle Kennedy will play Jocasta in Season 4. Maybe Murtagh will have found his way into her heart in place of Duncan? Not that Lacroix will spill any details. “If I told you, it would cost us both of our lives,” he remarked to us, not entirely joking.
youtube
Will Jamie and Claire ever age? A 20-second teaser trailer for Season 4 that aired at the end of “Eye of the Storm” revealed Jamie and Claire discussing how the American dream might also become their dream. That’s dramatic stuff to be sure … but not as dramatic as the pronounced streaks of gray running through Claire’s hair. Although the Frasers made frequent mention of the fact that 20 years had passed since their separation and reunion, Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan still looked eternally youthful once they were back in each other’s arms. Claire’s gray hair, along with Jamie’s rugged stubble (grown at personal request from his bride in “Eye of the Storm”), suggests that they may start acting — and appearing — their age in Drums of Autumn.

Head there early to avoid long lines of cars on Texas 237. Wear sunscreen and comfortable shoes and take cash since WiFi there is sketchy and vendors’ credit card apps don’t always work.

Milieu, a luxury shelter and lifestyle magazine, was founded in 2013 by Houston interior designer Pamela Pierce. Galveston Historic Homes Tour
The Galveston Historical Foundation’s annual home tour is must for history buffs and for newcomers to the area who want to learn more about the Gulf Coast’s architectural history. Galveston is a tourism city now, but it was once a thriving port city where merchants built beautiful Victorian and Queen Anne-style homes, grand examples and bungalows, too. The 2019 tour had eight homes and the 2020 lineup should be announced soon.
When: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. May 2-3 and May 9-10
Where: Tour homes to be announced

Impossible ! Mais voilà chose faite, maintenant !

Nina Dobrev serves 9 winning looks in 2018
Nina Dobrev is our newest celebrity style crush. On Wednesday, the Dog Days star stepped out in NYC rocking an ’80s-style denim jumpsuit, equipped with puffy shoulders, by Ulla Johnson. Dobrev paired the daytime summer look with white slingback block heels, tortoise cat-eye sunglasses, and a chic red Chanel shoulder bag. This is just one of many fashionable winning looks Dobrev has worn in 2018.
Throughout the year, Dobrev has elevated her fashion game, wearing fresh designer dresses from top houses including Dior, Valentino, and Altuzarra. The actress has moved on from her early-aughts style — which consisted of high-slit maxi skirts and tight sheath dresses — to glamorous gowns that land her on best-dressed lists.
The actress’s style evolution can, in many ways, be attributed to celebrity stylist Kate Young, whom Dobrev began working with this year and who also happens to be the No. 1 most powerful Hollywood stylist in 2018, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Young’s clientele includes A-list celebrities Selena Gomez, Natalie Portman, Margot Robbie, and Michelle Williams, among many more.
And just as Dobrev’s style has bloomed, so has her career. As a teen, the actress played roles in Degrassi: Minis and Degrassi: The Next Generation. In 2009 Dobrev landed her first major breakout role in The Vampire Diaries, and she starred in the cult-favorite film The Perks of Being a Wallflower in 2012. Now Dobrev is back promoting her newest film, Dog Days, which she stars in alongside Vanessa Hudgens.
Ahead, see Dobrev’s best fashion looks so far in 2018.
