that’s really cool tho. i have a pretty serious distaste for a regular Bb clarinet but christ bass clarinets are fucking hardcore my guy.

is that your first woodwind? i kind of hope it’s not bc you’re gonna need some serious breath control and work up a killer embouchure.

regardless, your lips and cheeks are gonna be sore, numb, and tingly as fuck~🎃

edit: tenor sax reeds are like identical to bass clarinet, so check these guys out. i use a #3 for my sax but if you’re just starting on bass clarinet i’d go for a #2 or #1.5 imo.

(for other’s reference, first is a Bb clarinet that’s about a 3lbs and close to 2ft and the second is a bass clarinet which is 3ft and 15lbs)

We may not be Macy's or Charlotte but Toronto's Santa Claus Parade is the oldest. It was started in 1905 by Eatons. Sadly, a cultural piece of our historic past is in danger thanks to lack of funding. This year may be its last. Thanks to all the people who organized and participated in this year's parade. It takes a lot of hard work, dedication and personal sacrifice to put on such an event. Our parade reflects the various cultures that go into making Toronto such a multicultural city. The parade is representative of all of our people in Toronto, the GTA and even outside of it. Thanks everyone.

What I really need to happen is for some racist dude to show up at a high school shouting antisemitism stuff, only to get very loudly interrupted by the marching band rolling out in parade block just blasting random notes

Not even a song, just random ahh notes that are also horrible to listen to (Like D# or high high E)

Or, some anti-lgbtq person to show up with all the signs and followers and megaphones, and get drowned out by the marching band playing the gayest song they have in their inventory.

and in the background pit and drum line are having the time of their lives hitting the biggest and heaviest things they have (bonus points if there’s multiple bass drums or gongs and they are all hit at once)
