He is so obviously an older brother.

He cares and he looks out for everyone he can. He tries to help and to warn, yet when they stop listening to him he nods, steps back and watches. He lets them make their own mistakes.

He lives and dies for his brother. He sacrifices his career to learn what happened to his little brother. Then he dies to avenge his little brother.

He puts his younger sibling above all others.

It does not matter if they got along in the end, they are siblings and he would kill to have his brother back.

In the end he thanks Jon for the chance to get back at those who killed his brother.

He thanks Jon because no matter how angry he is at Jon the man helped him avenge Danny's death.

Yesterday I listened to s1, ep33 of The Magnus Archives and it’s the first time I hear Tim and I just have to say how dare he talk to the defiantly sleep deprived archivist like that. The little shit picking on the fact that he mixed up a couple of numbers, so what if he did sometimes that just happens

Please tell me that at some point I’ll start to like Tim because at the moment I would gladly slap him in the face if I had the chance

Jace has called Alec on three separate occasions since the first episode and always asked something from Alec first so this is new. I hate on jace because this is the third time out of 23 episodes. Alec has almost died four times so far and jace has only seemed concerned with half of them. Jace put Alec first when Alec got attacked by a forsaken, when he had to use his parabatai connection in parabatai lost, and now. it’s really not that special if we are 23 episodes and he’s only been caring to Alec in three major ones. while Alec always knows something is wrong with Jace and has put him first many more times

also Alec is just holding a weapon and he’s the hottest on the show this isn’t up for debate
