jess- maddie phillips!! i absolutely loved her in teenage bounty hunters and as cate in gen v and i think she would be such a great jess & would love to see her explore more of the complexities of the character <3

mike- brian altemus (i've had such a hard time deciding on a mike fc because i can't find anyone in an accurate age range that fits his vibe)

sam- sophie thatcher or milly alcock (they're both booked and busy so ik this would probably never happen but they're both great at playing badass softies and are both sooooo samcore)

emily- i honestly think the movie casting fits very well for her (ji-young yoo) but i also rily like havana rose li or kaylee kaneshiro would kill the emily vibe !!

chris- fred hechinger is the ONLY chris fancast ever and i love him so so much. he would be the most perfect chris and he captures the vibe so well as simon in fear street

josh- tied between tamo amir and aria shahghasemi <3 love them both so much and i think aria especially has the tortured film bro aesthetic of josh DOWN in legacies!!

matt- mason gooding!! he is the loveable jock of all time in scream 5 & 6 and i think we all know he looks great in a letterman jacket ;)

ashley- liana liberato or odessa a'zion! i'm still holding out hope that the movie cast is for the canon characters themselves and not entirely new characters because odessa would be the perfect stoner ashley< 3 i also loveeee liana and even though she is absolutely booked she would kill it as ashley

i'm honestly not sure for hannah/beth because i haven't been able to find anyone that fits but courtney eaton is definitely up there for me

This song is totally a Thea song too. Thea goes through a really bad eating disorder that resurfaces during s2, and there are moments she has of weakness. I can totally see Mercedes and Tina singing this to her.
