whyyyy do so few people actually put consideration into their dog's breed when assessing unwanted behaviors
#for context someone on reddit said they were having trouble with their six month old husky pulling on walks#my brother in mitzvah you got a dog that was literally bred to pull you#i posted a nice response to them basically saying like#'well i think what might be the best long term is to find an outlet where he can satisfy that urge to pull so he knows exactly when#he's allowed to do it'#like canicross or bikejoring#and you know maybe they did do their research into huskies they're clearly taking the dog to a trainer#so maybe these thoughts are uncharitable!#but like!!!! how do more people not know to look into stuff like this#someone a couple weeks ago was confused why their scenthound mix didn't enjoy walks 'like a normal dog' and called him lazy#like dude he's not lazy he just wasn't bred for a lot of active walkig#he was bred for a lot of slow ambling. with his nose to the fuckin ground.#get him some scentwork kits.#starscream.txt#anyways [gets off my soapbox]

#pizza tower#peppino#arts#mine#i have a thing where i make something curved and draw it very fast#and that makes me draw his nose so small compared to his sprite bc im trying to make the nose in one stroke#so i revisited some old concept art n sprites on the wiki#the one where hes in a fancy suit and he looks kinda confused??? i love it so much it lives in my head rent free#i want to capture that in my art for him#i should do some sprite redraws then to help#hes got like#not necessarily a square jaw but hes got a big jaw and chin; lots of space between his mouth and the bottom of his chin#and that just does not mesh well w the way my brain WANTS to draw him#so i think. bigger eyes and nose and more space than i usually allow between his chin and mouth#i SHOULD just sketch in my book to help w making my lines more natural again but weughh#anyway peppino is cute and i wanna go back to the way i drew him back in my pepperman comic bc i can feel myself slackin

i feel the need to mention that my cat has a perfect pacman eating a dot shape on his back and it’s the cutest thing ever

Im a genius im so smart i missed my stop and now im standing in the freezing cold waiting for the bus that goes in the other direction which only arrives every half hour and its so fucking cold and i want to cry

#ITS A STRUGGLE#at least pretty much everything is stuff i already wanted to learn but had just been putting off for whatever reason (procrastination) but#first cotl making me draw furries. and then animal crossing making them more complicated (tom nook's nose confused me)#then gravity falls making me draw old people. and now in dbh i am facing the struggle of Markus's subtle facial hair because i cant get away#with just doing a gradient that goes halfway up the face like i did with gravity falls. because it wouldn't look right trust me ive already#tried out of sheer desperation it was horrible#AGH#and then theres the whole thing of translating other styles into yours. especially when thise styles have vastly different levels of detail#compared to yours so you have to decide what kind of details to add and what kind of details to get rid of and AAAAGHHGHHH#also dbh characters having no bangs. most of them anyway#PLEASE bangs are the only thing that can hide how bad i am at hairlines!!!!!!!!#but at least that part is easy to learn. i can draw connor. hes the easiest dbh character to draw probably#hank seems like he'll have easier facial hair than Markus considering hes got an actual beard and also the fact that i will be a lot less#scared if making him look old because well. he is old#i mean hes only the same age as my dad but like..#he looks old. all his hair is gray. unlike my dad. only half my dads hair is gray#anyways point is im grateful for how much drawing characters that are Not Mine has improved my art but its so difficult#i need to draw my ocs...... and then I'll get back to Markus#i say that as if i haven't been drawimg my ocs all day anyways#rambling in the tags#artist

The ship of SidLinkYona has a chokehold over me I'm DREAMING about them being cute and polyamorous it's becoming a problem There could be worse things to dream about when I watch true crime documentaries, though.
I posted that on BlueSky yesterday AND GUESS WHAT! I dreamt about both SidLinkYona AND true crime :D
Surprisingly it wasn't scary? It was a fake scenario if i remember correctly and instead of people being scared they were all acting like stereotypical horror protagonists like "Let's go catch this guy :D"
