MWW Artwork of the Day (10/8/23) Paul Gauguin (French, 1848-1903) Eve ("The Nightmare") (c. 1899-1900) Black printer's ink, ochre ink, liquid solvent on wove paper, 64.2 x 48.9 cm. The J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles
Near the end of his life in isolated French Polynesia, Gauguin invented his own technique to produce this unique, double-sided image. Both sides depict a young Tahitian woman as Eve in the Garden of Eden, surrounded by the Devil as a snake, a dark figure on horseback, and a fallen Adam. On its surface, Gauguin's experimental drawing looks primitive and casually made. However, its rough appearance belies a very sophisticated work, with nuanced mark-making and carefully aligned applications of color. The closest analogy to Gauguin's process might be the act of writing or drawing on carbon paper, which transfers marks to underlying pages.

If mirrors aren't real, how can character appearances be portrayed?
A pet peeve of mine in a lot of writing is character physical descriptions. I hate them enough that I try to avoid them unless I feel like it directly furthers the story.
I'm kidding, I only do it if the character I'm describing looks cool.
Why do I hate physical description? Well, aside from the general attitude people have about Men Writing Women and the like — which really just makes me feel self conscious, as a man writing a female lead character — it feels cheap. It feels like when you're at a book sale at your local used bookstore and they put a price sticker in the middle of the cover art on an antique book, and you try to take it off, and the adhesive rips away the art you were trying to see.
I don't know how many times a main character has been rushing to get ready, and stopped to look in the mirror, and then just...examined themselves like some sort of narcissistic douchebag. Their inky black curls tumble down their pixie-shaped face past almond-shaped eyes, a little button nose with a story, invitingly full, luscious lips that rhymes with hips, and what bangable hips those are...
I know not everyone is like me, but I look in the mirror, and I look at my eyes, then maybe fix my hair.
Again, maybe a lot of people just can't help but think about their honest-looking eyes, and their forehead furrowed in a crinkle as they think about their friend. They force themselves to relax, and chuckle a little. They've really filled out since they were a newborn baby screaming after just being delivered, and it is impossible to deny the rugged handsomeness of that chiseled jawline, that five-o'clock shadow that they've been chasing halfheartedly for years, or that delicate, almost feminine curve to their lips that they inherited from their dead mother because we have to cram as much character development as we can into this character looking at the mirror casually.
It's not even just the, like, overly sensual descriptions, it's the idea in general (it's just funnier to me to write the overly sensual descriptions), because it's always a massive immersion break.
I'm pretty sure that's usually why the "mirror scene" happens fairly early on in the story, or in a lull in the action, to signify that "things have changed" and they've lost that childlike innocence they've been holding onto for forty years. It still manages to feel like an immersion break early on because the exposition at the beginning of a story is only about immersion. I get you had a vision for what the character looks like and wanted to tell us, but...
Am I wrong? Are normal people going around constantly thinking in detail what they, and the people they associate with, look like? Again, leaving aside the gratuitous nature of MWW, what's weird about it isn't just that some guys have apparently never seen a woman in their life, it's that they suddenly turn to the camera and say, "That's my old friend over there. Her appearance is basically pre-loaded into my brain because we're friends and I'm maybe into her romantically, but for your benefit, I'm going to talk about her thighs."
I think "mirror scenes" can work really well in movies, because often it can have the opposite effect of making me sympathize with a character when they do something relatable in the mirror.
Female character gets out of the shower in a towel, while brushing her teeth. She dries her hair off a little, listlessly regarding her reflection for a moment. She spits, makes some faces in the mirror, maybe plucks at some strands of hair, and leaves. Maybe she pops a zit, I dunno.
Hey, I do that! Imagine if a character in a movie did the book thing.
Female character on the way out the door stops and looks at herself in the mirror. She looks her body up and down, smiling wistfully, then chuckles ruefully, shakes her head and leaves.
No, really. That's basically what happens in books. I get that it can be an easy way to establish what a character looks like, and how they feel about it, but, again, it feels cheap.
Anyway.
Rant over.

Men Without Women
By Haruki Murakami
I have read this book while I was inside my 2nd R*H*B"@!
Recently, I was bombarded by videos of pretty foreign women that in some ways resemble the hmmmm... Girl beside fidle. I will be completely honest, I didn't like what I saw, fidle the flash... no... Cisco fits better... Looks like somebody else. The girl reminds me of the girl driver in the first story of Murakami's book. Maybe it's because of the hat. It's not an insult, It's an impression maybe because of the surrounding. Maybe from Dubai, reminds me of the pink cabs. (I am making my own assumption. If you'll find them online make your own too. It's normal)
The more I think about it, the more I also think about myself. In which story I will fit to be at par with her? (I always do this because I am a Candor. I am fair and whenever I give criticism it should always be rational, reasonable and theory based) Well, .. I think mine is worse. whenever I think of writing to tell my epic story I kinda feel like I am that girl. The one borrowed from Arabian nights. Ewww... (I mean the one in MWW) Whenever I compare that story and my stories, I see total absolute porn. Maybe a deep porn. I hold them hanging for continuation, to be continued on the next day. I am not sure if anyone is reading but it feels like that. Arabian nights of my fairy tale days made the actuation sound CLEVER. Murakami's made it look like a MOMMY PORN. But with all honesty, try to answer... Why do you think the king visits the queen every night? with a threat to kill her each day... are you sure there is a plain story that will stop you from killing the person that you want to kill? That shallow? There is THAT right? Not unless she is a spy with lots of classified information or an oracle that tells the future or answer your hardest question. They should have mentioned that in the story, but they didn't so no.
I stopped making comments. It looks porn cheap. My angry cheap is better. I always think of that. It stops me from writing. Even here. How do you keep people without looking cheap. At least here I have my own space... page... territory... turf. Just read.
You know him? Fidle?
This is mean? I said mine is worse. I have said so many times that I am hard to others, harder to my friends and hardest to myself. Maybe I should use harsh.
Yeah, I saw her in others. I said she's pretty. AI made me say that. They are rewiring my brain. At least with her physicality. I just asked if that is his story. Not who I think he is.
His a big man anyway.
They said that the queen had 1001 stories. I have thought of around five more side stories that can branch out from this one. Maybe I will beat her in time. I hope it won't take more than 1002. Not written... Spoken to someone... yeah like that mommy porn. Bummer.

Our professionals in assignment writing are very particular to their job and are eager to be of assistance to you in attaining outstanding scores in your academic responsibilities.
Topics we cover for your Statistics Assignment Help
Statistics is a mathematical discipline that involves encountering several complex topics. You are required to complete corporate statistics assignments, applied statistics tasks, as well as other statistics issues using mean, median, and mode, among others. Nevertheless, we have categorized several domains of statistics in which you get assignments throughout your time in college. The following categories are derived from advanced statistics. Where you may depend on our online homework assistance service.
Mann-Whitney U Test:
The test known as the Mann-Whitney U test is about by several different names. Names such as the Wilcoxon rank-sum test, MWW tests, and others are among the well-known names. As was said earlier, this is a non-parametric test that compares the null hypothesis, which states that two populations are identical, to an alternative hypothesis, which states that a certain population tends to have bigger values than other populations. It is a procedure that is difficult to comprehend, and most students in higher education struggle to find solutions to statistical issues that are based on the Mann test. The extensive mathematics, and calculus in particular, is the cause of the difficulties that are being experienced. Under the Mann-Whitney test, there are an extremely limited number of assumptions that are made in which the observations for both groups are deemed to be independent.
Regression Analysis in Statistics:
It is by this method that specialists make their estimations about the link between the variables. To determine whether there is a connection between one or more independent variables is the primary objective of regression methodology. To comprehend regression analysis in local words, it is necessary to adhere to the definition provided by our specialists. An individual may have a better understanding of how the value of the dependent variable shifts in response to changes in the independent variable via the use of regression analysis. Thus, you may see free statistics samples that are provided on our website, or you can ask our chat representative for area-specific free statistics examples. Both options are available to you if you are interested in learning more about the ideas of regression analysis.
Spearman's rank correlation coefficient:
Charles Spearman is the inspiration for the naming of this. Which is sometimes refer to as Spearman's rho. The statistical dependency between two variables may be estimated with the help of this method. To determine the nature of the connection that exists between the two variables, this method makes use of a monotonous function.

Pairing: Taron Egerton x Reader
Prompt: Taron does everything he can to make sure the reader is comfortable while sick.
Word count: 950
A/N: This is 100% self indulgent after the week I’ve had. I don’t need a man, but I wanted one to come comfort me and cuddle me. Not beta read. All mistakes are my own. Enjoy some soft, caring, wonderful Taron.
Tumblr media
As he opened the door to your shared flat he heard the shower running, letting him know exactly where you were. His suitcases made a thud as he dropped them in the entry, rubbing his hands together he headed your way, ready to see you, hug you, hold you. After months away filming he couldn't wait to show you how much he missed you, needed you, while he was away.
When he creaked the bathroom door open slowly steam billowed out– a warm welcome indeed– but his smile faded when he didn’t see your form standing in the shower singing whatever song was stuck in your head at the moment. A loud, barking, cough breaks him out of his head. One. Two. Three times. Gasping for air. His eyes fall to you through the blurry glass, with your still body, head pointed up to the ceiling, eyes closed, sitting cross legged on the floor of the shower letting the steam permeate your lungs completely unaware that Taron was even there.
The slide of the shower door causes you to pathetically jump and gasp –as if you would be able to take on whoever was trying to rob or kidnap you had it not been Taron. The gasp causes you to fall into another one of many coughing fits. His head pokes in with a soft call of your name, the guilt for having failed at not startling you is all over his face. “Love.” his voice still soft, full of  concern “Are you okay?”
He squats to your level not caring his shirt is getting wet from the stream of water when he tries to reach for you but you brush him off hanging your head again.
“Taron you’re not supposed to see me like this.” You whine pathetically, head lolling to the side opposite him with a muffled cough to eye him. Concern covers his face. This isn’t you, he thinks, this isn’t okay. Even when you’re sick you are still feisty with him. He can tell now what your plan was; to try and get better before he got home.
“Love, listen to me.” His voice falters as he hates seeing you like this. To be quite honest you hate him seeing you like this. “I’m going to run to the pharmacy and pick up everything I can. Call the doctor to make a house call…”
“Shhh.” You tell him, holding an index finger up. “I’ve already,” another interruption and Taron waits with bated breath for you to calm back down and continue. “Got medicine. This morning.”
“Okay” he sighs as his mind races on what he can do for you at this point. Just be here now. Hold you close and take care of you. He slides into the shower fully dressed and sits next to you. “Okay then. I’m here for you. Whatever you need.”
He stayed in the shower with you rubbing your back until you had decided you got everything out of your system that the hot steam allowed. Helping you up he wrapped you tightly in a towel and sat you on the edge of the bed to pick out a comfy outfit for you and peel his wet clothes off himself. If you were feeling normal you’d make a joke about how you didn’t think those pants could be tighter than when they were dry as he struggled to peel them off his thighs. Instead you chuckle to yourself which causes another fit. You pout pitifully until he walks out of your shared closet with a Christmas onesie on, yours draped over his shoulder. “Oh. Yes. Give me that warmth.” You reach for it and he obliges, helping you put it on. As he’s zipping up the front you ask in a soft voice “can we spend some time cuddled on the couch?”
“There is nothing he would rather do more but first I am going to make you tea and get some food in you.” You are thankful that he knows you well enough to know you haven’t forced yourself to eat anything of substance today.
As he does you lay across the couch searching out a cheesy movie to watch in the background while Taron fills you in on his past couple of days and gently drills you about your sickness. How long has it been? Why didn’t you say something before? He could have come home earlier don’t you know? Now you do, but it honestly wasn’t that bad until yesterday you assure him as he sets your travel mug of tea on the table in front of you, and a plate of nibbles. “A cup of tea from your T, baby.”
“Thank you.” You giggle at his pun and raise up to let him sit, laying your head in his lap. Grabbing a carrot you take a small bite as he pets your damp hair talking in his soft, soothing accent. You barely register what he’s saying — enjoying the lilt of his voice,  the dark room only bathed in the light of the troubadour sign and the tv, and his thighs putting you at the perfect angle to stop the coughing for now.
Comfort. Peace. Home. Love. Care. All of those things wrap around you like a hug after filling your stomach and soothing your throat.  You soon drift off to sleep, Taron’s thumb stroking circles in your skin softly.
Taron doesn’t dare move aside from kicking his feet up on the table in front of him and leaning his head back against the couch. His body will hate him in the morning but he doesn’t dare disturb you as you finally get some much needed deep sleep.

I’ve been struggling with a lot of emotional things as of late, with mercury retrograde in action and all. Sometimes my only relief from the chaos swirling in my brain is when I lay my head on my boyfriend’s chest and focus on his heartbeat.
Nighttime is the worst for me and as I type this it’s 2:30AM on the dot here where I live. I spend most of my nights staying up because I struggle to sleep. This is one of those nights. So when I have hard nights like this, my boyfriend’s heartbeat is what can calm me enough to maybe fall asleep. I time my breathes with his as well. I don’t think he realizes how much I rely on that. How much listening to his heartbeat in his chest reminds me that I’m alive and with reason. That he’s alive and with reason. That both our hearts beat despite the heartbreaks we’ve been through. Mending each other and building.
This man and his heart is something I will cherish forever

if there was a camera in my room, you’d see my insane ramblings to myself at 2am about how theres actually 3 marks in the With Markiplier series.
real person and content creator, Mark Fischbach with his markiplier persona (who can be counted out of the in fiction events)
in fiction actor mark with his stage name Mark Iplier who’s on parole and acts in roles that he doesnt care for, writes his own stories, and is a prissy bitch.
in fiction, in fiction friend mark portrayed and written by actor mark who has no idea that his life and existence is a story made by actor
like those actor aus in reverse, i guess
does it amke sense? NO! becuase why is EVERYONE else like dark in an in fiction, in fiction reality but actor isnt??
no, wiat, it does because in mww its made clear that reality and fiction are one and the same so if a person were to write a story that included their self insert that would become more and more real and im just, im losing my mind, its marks all the way down, nothing is real everythings real and i shoudl just leave it all to the practiced theorists because im just, i have WORK TO DO like actual work to get paid for i

MWW Artwork of the Day (3/15/23) Sarah Bernhardt (French, 1844-1923) Bust of a Woman (c. 1874) White marble bust, 63 cm. high Private Collection
Bernhardt excelled particularly in the modelling of busts, for which she received acclaim from critics. In her 1907 memoirs, Bernhardt proudly speaks of friends and acquaintances sitting for her portrait busts in 1874. At Bernhardt’s London exhibition of 1879, it is her busts that stand out among her works, with one reviewer writing, ‘the “star” of the Comédie Française is preferable in busts. All these are expressive and characteristic [...]’ (The Illustrated London News, 21 June 1875). It is likely that the present bust, whose unidentified sitter is distinguished by an extravagant feathered headdress, dates from this period in the sculptor's career.

ves I'm writing angst for the first time ever and I need your guidance 😩😩
do you have any angst 101 tips?
i see you have come to seek the high priestess
jk jokes aside yes i do baefy :* i’m flattered aaaa ily nonnie i’m not a pro but here’s some that’s working well for me so far djjfiee idk how to give advice properly so i hope this will do :))
——
ANGST 101
1. this first one isn’t limited to writing angst, but it’s best to first determine which perspective you’re more comfortable with writing: first person, second person, or third person. i personally enjoy writing in third person when it comes to angst but most seem to enjoy second person first. either way, just keep writing and acknowledge your strengths because it’ll help you on the long run.
2. add fluff. plus points if they’re the happiest they’ve ever been in their lives or just having fun. just show the audience the highest point of their lives then:
3. use said fluff to amplify the angst. it’s like burning something but instead of waiting for the item to burn into dust, you’re gonna want to enrage it more so douse it with fluff fuel. is it evil? yes. good, it should be. i mean, pure angst the entire time is beautiful too but approaching it with using happy moments is *chef’s kiss*
4. angst doesn’t always have to be about crying and arguments, it can also be the internal war the character goes to and you letting the reader see that. like i said, find out which perspective you work with best because each pov has its pros and cons.
— first person: easy way to allow the character to have a mental conversation with the reader without having to use direct speech in a dialogue. also a banger if used correctly.
— second person: i still have a love hate relationship with this one but it’s easy to use it when you want to be direct in your narrative.
— third person: switching perspectives between characters is easier and you can use this to your advantage when exploring the scene. (depends on your writing style)
5. if you’re caught in a dead end, look up angst prompts to get you going! it’s okay to look for something as reference or inspiration.
——
i’m sorry if this is messy lmaodjfje anyway i hope it makes sense either way mww :* lmk if you need help w it bby

sorry but what do you mean by good faith headcanoning? /gen (i agree w/ you and you don’t have to answer this if you don’t want to, i’m just curious)
Oh I’m fine answering stuff like this! Helps me get my points across easier if people actually know what I’m talking about after all. Apologies in advance this got very long because I’m tired and can’t write short explanations when tired.
In a nutshell, it means not making some incredibly complicated headcanon that “explains” how x thing that clearly applies doesn’t actually apply. I just call it good faith headcanoning because it’s headcanon that doesn’t stem from much, if any canon basis, but that also isn’t used to excuse or push harmful or super unrealistic interpretations. An example of a good faith headcanon would be that Meta Knight is blind and his mask is what lets him see. There’s nothing that suggests or supports this in canon, and considering he still flies off even without his mask, it can be assumed it’s not actually required for vision. But saying that you headcanon he’s blind ultimately doesn’t do any harm, and just as importantly, doesn’t deny important established information.
As an example of a bad faith headcanon… Ok, this is gonna be silly, but I’m kinda brain’t right now. Say someone decided they don’t like the fact that Kirby loves strawberry shortcake for whatever reason, and said that they headcanon that Kirby LOATHES strawberry shortcake. In response to people pointing out that Kirby’s love of strawberry shortcake played a major roll in Squeak Squad, and has been depicted in other situations as well, they decide to say they headcanon that Kirby actually DOESN’T like it, but had to eat it for a challenge. Or they headcanon he was being “influenced” by something to make him want to eat the shortcake, as well as in every other instances of it being eaten.
The problem is that while this sort of thing technically DOES work as an explanation, it’s not a “fair” or reasonable one. No matter how much people point out that it contradicts something that’s been established, the person can always just point to their complicated workaround and say that “you can’t police my headcanons that’s mean!” In essence it’s basically the same issue teachers/professors have with you doing an opinion or argument-centric paper on something that can’t be disagreed with or argued against; at that point you’re not addressing the information, you’re just dodging the issue.
Yes, it’s true that people are allowed to headcanon what they want and that policing it(when it isn’t harmful/disgusting) is a shitty thing to do. I agree with that entirely. I’m also not against a bit of tip-toeing around in the vague parts of canon, and in fact that’s probably how the majority of my headcanons came about. However, in my opinion, there’s a point where it becomes a bit too much, where it’s really clear it’s all just an excuse to ignore important and well-established information about a character. Ignoring canon is fine until ignoring it fundamentally changes aspects of everything connected to it, in a way that no longer resembles the actual media.
The simple solution is to just call it an AU and then go from there, instead of making excuses for why X is like Z, when in the series X is shown to be like Y. In that case, so long as the impacts of changing that aspect are shown, and again, it’s not just an excuse to make abhorrent content, there’s no problem.
In reference to how this came about, the “bad faith” headcanons I was talking about would be the ones that basically say “Marx wasn’t actually a bad guy”, “Marx wasn’t being selfish”, “What Marx did wasn’t manipulative”, etc. as a means to justify Marx not experiencing consequences. Doing that essentially removes the basic core aspects of Marx’s character. Milky Way Wishes’ entire plot revolves around the simple fact that Marx is manipulative and a liar. He basically admits it himself when he says he got the sun and the moon to fight, got Kirby to summon Nova, and then brags about that whole thing going according to plan.
While it’s not out of the question to give him a motivation besides wanting to rule, like I did with Magolor in my headcanon, that motivation shouldn’t/can’t be used to undermine or otherwise excuse his actions. It doesn’t matter if he wanted to take over in order to improve Popstar or whatever(which he didn’t, because he gets excited about being able to cause all the mischief he wants, by the way). At the end of the day, he still probably caused major problems when the sun and moon started fighting, lied to and later attempted to kill Kirby(indirectly through exposure, then directly by fighting him), and ultimately got Nova destroyed. If the headcanon solely exists to say “but it’s ok and doesn’t matter anymore”, whether to woobify him into just a naughty widdle clown boy or (eugh) ship him with Someone, I can’t see a plausible way that it is in good faith and not just a tailored excuse to deny his wrongdoings in canon.
Now, this might seem like there’s an unfair line, because obviously not every unrealistic headcanon is in bad faith, but imo it can be figured out pretty simply. Generally, it can safely be assumed to be bad faith if multiple of the following things apply, within reason:
-It’s ignoring core information that, when changed, changes something completely in ways beyond just what’s being changed (ex. If you say Marx was actually possessed and that’s why he did MWW rather than being power hungry, there’s going to be more affected than just everyone going “oh it’s not his fault, ok” and then doing nothing)
-It’s changing so much information to make sense that, in justifying the one headcanon, many other things no longer line up or make sense, but go unaddressed (ex. Saying Meta Knight wasn’t bad in Revenge of Meta Knight because he wanted to take over Dreamland because there was actually some kind of great evil that he needed control to destroy, and that saying it’s because he wanted to end the lazy lifestyle was just a coverup to not cause mass panic)
-The headcanon attempts to justify an act that can’t be honestly justified or made ok in the canon circumstances (ex. Saying Sectonia actually wanted to rule Floralia and take over Popstar for good reasons that Kirby couldn’t see, like trying to unite them into a safer whole, or trying to justify Hyness’ mistreatment of Zan Partizanne by saying she’s actually the bad one)
-It is used in a manner that basically attempts to “victimize” the creator or “villainize” people who disagree if discrepancies in their headcanon are pointed out (ex. The creator “headcanons” Dedede is actually totally evil in order to write characters hating him, and acts like they’re being bullied when people correctly point out the positive relationships Dedede has with the main cast, as well as his role in aiding the side of good in games like Return to Dreamland, Triple Deluxe, and Star Allies.
-It is otherwise an unsupported, implausible headcanon being used to excuse gross and/or malicious content (ex. Headcanon excuses for shipping gross pairings, like MetaSusie or p*do/*nc*st ships)
While these criteria technically mean my shortcake example doesn’t count, I think there’s also always going to be a bit of case by case judgement with this sort of thing. Another important note, a bad faith headcanon isn’t necessarily bad conceptually; in most cases the issues can be solved by just making it an au with the appropriate changes, as that removes the issue of “how much canon can a headcanon ignore before it’s basically just an au?” As an example, “Au where Marx wasn’t a bad guy” is very different from “Marx wasn’t a bad guy”, while still allowing the same concept to be explored.

I need a Xiao Zhan stay at home dad AU fic so bad right now.
Like imagine a few years down the line xz just quietly slips away from the entertainment industry and he and yibo hire a surrogate (who they pay handsomely and are very nice to!!!) and they start trying to have a baby🥺
Like imagine them going through the surrogacy process and trying to make sure potential surrogates aren’t bxgs or solos 😭
Imagine them taking their baby home to Chongqing and Xiao Zhan’s mama is just crying tears of joy and Jianguo has her tail up and very daintily sniffs the baby🥺
And Xiao Zhan is a stay at home dad, still doing his artsy stuff on the side but taking a long break from the entertainment industry while Wang Yibo is still one of the top stars in China and ugh. They’re such a power couple.
They no longer give a single shit about what the public thinks and just start living as an out couple and family and Yibo is so cute with him and the baby. Teaching his kid to bike and skateboard from way too early an age and rubbing it in to Xiao Zhan about how his kid can ride a bike but he still can’t 😭
And oh god they’re so cheesy they would totally have matching outfits for the whole family. Baby vlone shirt. Supreme diapers.... yibo gets a super aerodynamic state of the art stroller and gets it signed by Rossi.
Imagine xz pinching yibo’s chubby cheeks and then then their baby’s chubby cheeks and saying ‘I see no difference here’ and yibo swatting his hand away.
Once their kid gets into school Xiao Zhan starts planning his comeback and writes a play. It ends up as a small production written, acted a designed by him. There are some deeply embedded wwx and lwj refernces in the script and set design. On opening night some of the most artsy people in theater and film are there and Yibo’s in the front row crying tears of joy next to their bored kid who’s playing with a techdeck. It’s a critical and financial success. A lottery system has to be set up to try to avoid a waiting list.
Yibo LOVES being the embarrassing dad. Im thinking World’s Greatest Dad t shirt (but cool). He loves letting everyone and especially his kid know how loved and supported he is. Hearing ‘dadddd you’re embarrassing me’ is the sweetest sound he’s ever heard.
Omg they finally go on that skii trip together but they take the whole family and kiddo’s grandparents are just spoiling him rotten the whole time. Yibo approves and Xiao Zhan tries to be the harsh parent but he’s too much of a softie and just lets kiddo get spoiled rotten, at least on their family vacation.
Xiao Zhan and his mom teaching their kiddo the family recipes 🥺
Yibo back seat driving in the kitchen telling them to make it spicier. Xiao Zhan asking him what he’s trying to prove here.
They’re both perfect sons in law and their mothers in law adore them.
Inspired by
Interviews I can’t find at the moment:
the one where Xiao Zhan talks about being a traditional man and wanting a family (I think that’s in one of his Ma Weiwei interviews *shakes fist at mww*)
the one where Xiao Zhan is asked where he sees himself in 12 years and he says he sees himself living as a normal person with one dog and one cat
DDU episode where Yibo says that in the future he sees himself having more free time and having a kid and a dog. Han ge reminds Yibo that he’s in his 40’s now and he has even less free time. Feng ge replies saying something like wow a woman a kid and a dog huh? And Da laoshi reminds him that Yibo didn’t mention a woman.
If I can find links for those I’ll add them later
