Imagine: spending an afternoon in Hogsmeade with Luna Lovegood
Fandom: Harry Potter
One of the most awaited days of the year finally came around: the day of the first trip to Hogsmeade. You made plans to go there with Luna all the way back on September 1st, when you first met after the summer break.
Marching hand in hand with your friend, you point at all the shops you pass, wondering where to go. Remembering you wanted to send an owl to your parents, you make a quick run to the post office, and Luna, in need of a new quill, stops by the Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop.
When you're both done with your errands, you find yourselves walking around Hogsmeade again, unsure what to do next.
"How about a cup of tea?" Luna asked, pointing at Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop.
It's totally Luna's style to pick the dating hotspot for Hogwarts students, when neither of you has ever suggested that you're anything more than best friends. The blood rushes to your face as you say:
"I don't think we should... go in. You know most people meet here for dates, right?"
"Oh, really? I went here on my own last year and it was really nice," she says, shrugging her shoulders. "And we still can go on a date, if that's what you prefer. A friendly date, of course."
"I mean..." you try to think of any argument against going, but Luna's innocent, faint smile is enough to convince you. You sigh and tell her: "Sure, we can go. As friends."
Luna's smile grows bigger as she grabs your hand and drags you into the tea shop. At the end of the day, you don't regret going with her; your conversations somehow got even more enjoyable than usual over a few cups of delicious tea. And the surprised glances from the couples surrounding you, clearly meeting there for "regular" dates, couldn't ruin the experience.

Would it be okay to see a story about Luna Lovegood having a Pinocchio spell cast on her? Even though it was meant to ridicule her, Luna finds it more useful than problematic. She actually lies on purpose so small animals could perch on her nose
Pinocchio's Gift
Notes: Sorry this took forever. I kept getting side tracked! Nevertheless I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for requesting! Feel free to request more! <3 It’s been forever since I’ve written for HP. I think it’ll be fun though! I'm so sorry if Luna or other characters are OOC and if certain aspects aren't exactly accurate. And my editing skills aren't the best but I do hope you still enjoy!
Requested?: Yes
Wordcount: 1k
Chapters: 1/1
Warning(s): None, but Luna isn't treated the best.
Characters: Luna Lovegood, Ravenclaws classmates, Albus Dumbledore, and Madame Promfrey (mentioned)
Luna’s POV
I hummed to myself as I was admiring the flowers and scenery. The Hogwarts gardens were magical. I laughed to myself as I said this of course they were magical. It's Hogwarts after all. I strolled around and gazed at each and everyone of the flowers. But particularly the hydrangea and the African Violet, they were the most intriguing of the bunch. But I’m biased. Those are my favorite flowers after all. But it isn’t because of their looks. It’s what’s on the inside I admire. I admire the meaning.
The hydrangea flower represents gratitude, honesty, and deep understandment. And the African Violet represents spiritual wisdom, faithfulness, and humidity. I love the meanings or what the representations of them are because it reminds me of myself and my mother. She died when I was very young but I can remember some details and from what my father has told me as well. I remember her kind smile, her jokes, and her creations. She was wonderful, I miss her but she’ll always be with me.
I sighed as I walked away from the hydrangea and african violet turning towards the blue roses. I decided to bend down and admire them closer but just as I did so I swore I heard some footsteps. I turned quickly around but no one was in sight. Was I imagining things? I grabbed a hold of my wand from my pocket and pointed it forwards.
I positioned myself upwards and I stepped forward, I looked around the garden, nothing seemed out of the ordinary at least I thought so. Everything seemed so… normal. I turned back around heading back to the flowers until I heard a voice of one of my house mates. I whipped my head around to face the trio of them, they were hiding behind a bush. Before I had time to process what was happening I realized her wand was pointed at me and she casted a spell on me.
“Pino!” One of them yelled.
I heard another say “RUN! Come on run!!” They ushered away, leaving me. Everything felt strange, not right. I fell to the ground in shock, I didn’t know what to do or what was happening. And that was when everything went black.
–
I felt myself stir awake. When I opened my eyes everything was blurry. I tried to sit up and my surroundings started to get clearer. I realized I was in the hospital wing. What happened?
“Please lay back down Ms.Lovegood.” Madame Pomfrey ushered me.
I situated my elbows downwards where I could somewhat sit up. “What happened?” I asked, looking up at her.
“You were cursed.” A new voice answered. I turned my head to see Headmaster Dumbledore. He was off to the side but he swiftly moved to my bedside. I felt a bit nervous, a curse like one of the unforgivables? That doesn’t seem right. I think it’s something different. I waited patiently. I stayed quiet, giving him some time to explain what happened to me.
After a minute he explained, “There is a curse called Pinocchio. It’s not one of the unforgivables…it’s something different. Ms. Lovegood, have you heard of the muggle movie or story of Pinocchio?” He asked. I nodded. Where is he going with this? What kind of curse did they cast on me?
He continued to say, “I am sincerely sorry to inform you that is what is happening to you. You have some of the same…characteristics of Pinocchio.” That’s what I felt different from before. I could turn into wood!
“Sadly, instead of a fairy trying to help you one of your fellow housemates did this to you and if you continue to lie your nose and along with yourself will turn to complete wood.”
I was in shock. This is a surprising revelation.
“But there is a cure and the students who did this will be punished.”
Why? What if this is a good thing? I thought.
“No.” I finally said aloud.
“What?” They both asked.
“I don’t want to get rid of this, I want to prove them wrong.” I felt determined.
“Ms.Lovegood this is not the way.”
“Please headmaster, I need to do this.” He looked at me pensively for a minute. “Alright Ms.Lovegood you may precede but if anything happens we must give you the cure.”
“Of course sir,” I smiled. It wasn’t necessarily that I just wanted to prove them wrong. I also thought this was a gift, a blessing if you will. Not a cure, not some evil curse. This could be a good thing. Dumbledore turned and walked away and headed to the door. I saw him open the door, our eyes met. I saw a twinkle in his eyes. He smiled warmly at me and opened the door to leave.
I turned over and plopped my feet to the stone flooring. “Where do you think you're going?”
“Back to my common room of course?”
“B-but you just got hurt.”
“I don’t see the problem with it, I’m perfectly healthy. I might have a wooden nose but other than that I’m fine.” I smiled warmly at Madame Pomfrey. She sighed and resigned “Off you go…” She paused, pointing a finger at me “But if you hurt in any way you make sure you come back, understood?”
“Of course.” I stepped away from her and skipped to the door. I opened it and gently closed it. I decided it was time to pay the gardens another visit.
–
I breathed in the fresh air, it felt good to be outside again. Some may say that I should rest or that I should take a break after all that occured here but I think otherwise. I looked over at the flowers. They were beautiful. I placed my hand over the flowers lightly caressing them as I skipped along. The air tickled as I continued to skip. I let out a laugh, this was truly my happy place.
But then I heard a different laugh. I turn around and meet the gaze of one of my housemates. It was actually a trio. The leader said, “I heard from Dumbledore that you decided not to let him fix you! You sure need it!” She laughs and her ‘friends’ join in. I felt a tug at my heart. But then I thought, ‘I’m not gonna let them ruin this for me. I made my decision and I don’t regret it.’
“You're a monster!” She says. Honestly this is just childish. Can she not come up with anything better than that?
“I am no monster, you represent all that is bad while I see the beauty in everything. You think that everything is awful. All you see is the bad, I see the good. And you are utterly wrong. Feel free to continue this little…debate but I’m not gonna let you tear me down.” I say as I move past them. I look back for a split second and see she looks dumbfounded. For someone who’s a Ravenclaw she doesn’t do her house well.
I walk towards a tree and head to sit down. I close my eyes and take a few deep breaths in and out. But then I hear a bird chirp. I smile as I open my eyes. It landed on my nose! But it isn’t long enough. I hate to lie but this is an emergency! I blurted out the first thing that came to my mind, “I hate trees.” My nose grows just long enough for the bird to perch on it. The bird is a small Bluebird. It looks so soft. I carefully place my hand under its beak. The bird chirps happily and I couldn’t help but giggle.
Huh, perhaps this wasn’t a curse, I was right this was a gift. Even if it had evil intentions or cruel intentions whatever you would like to call it. It ended up being the greatest gift I could ask for even if some would say…what do the muggles call it? Problematic? Even if it’s problematic I’d say this worked out wonderfully. I know they wanted to ridicule me, but it didn't work.I guess you could say I got my happily ever after just like in the fairy tales.
The End

Let Me Help | F.W
———
Pairing: Fred Weasley x reader
Summary: After losing a quidditch match, Fred is frustrated and you help him by giving him a post-match massage, which leads into something more, or well something sweet.
Warnings: massaging, making out, hickeys, moaning ig, praising (ish), slightly steamy but mostly fluffy, fluffy!fred, nap-time together, cuddling, littlespoon!reader, bigspoon!fred, pls i want to have nap-time in fred's arms
———
The roar of the crowd had dwindled into murmurs as you, Hermione, and Luna sat on the bleachers, watching the Gryffindor Quidditch team gather on the pitch below. The match against Hufflepuff had ended moments ago, and to everyone’s surprise, Gryffindor had lost after a season of winning.
It wasn’t just a loss—it was a hard-fought game, filled with moments of near victory that had slipped through their fingers.
Fred and George, always the heart of the team, looked particularly worn down. Fred’s usual buoyant demeanour was dimmed, his lips were pressed in a firm line, nodding as Oliver clearly scolded him about something. He wasn’t one to take criticism lightly, especially not when he was already down.
“I think Wood's giving Fred a hard time,” Hermione murmured, squinting at the scene below.
“Fred looks sad,” Luna observed, tilting her head dreamily. “Maybe he’s just feeling the weight of the nargles today.”
You tried waving to Fred, catching his eye. "It's okay Freddie..." you mouthed, attempting to comfort him slightly from the bleachers.
He looked up and, instead of the cheeky grin and exaggerated gestures you were used to, he blew you a small, almost apologetic kiss.
It wasn’t the playful, confident one that usually made you laugh; it was soft, almost sad, and it made your heart ache.
“He’ll be okay,” Hermione reassured you as you all made your way down from the stands.
The walk back to Hogwarts was subdued. The team split off to the showers while you, Hermione, and Luna headed toward the common room. Your mind was on Fred the whole time, wondering how you could cheer him up.
When the players eventually returned, freshly showered but still visibly tired, you led the cheers in the common room to boost their spirits. George gave a half-hearted grin, Angelina and Katie exchanged appreciative smiles, but Fred hung back, his smile never quite reaching his eyes.
Determined to help him, you waited for the crowd to thin out before slipping away and making your way to the boys’ dormitory. Knocking softly, you peeked inside. Fred was sitting on his bed, his head resting in his hands, and the sight made your chest ache.
There was no sight of his dorm mates, they were likely out and about, lurking around campus somewhere.
He looked up when you entered, and his face softened immediately, though the exhaustion in his eyes noticeable.
“Hey,” you said gently, closing the door behind you.
“Hey,” he replied, his voice low. He patted the spot next to him, and you sat down, the mattress dipping slightly under your weight.
“What’s wrong?” you asked, though you already had a good idea.
Fred sighed, running a hand through his damp hair. “Oliver. He’s... he’s been on my case. Said I was distracted during the match, that I wasn’t focused enough. Maybe he’s right.”
You frowned. “That’s not fair. I watched the whole match, Fred. You were brilliant out there.”
He shook his head, a humourless laugh escaping him. “Doesn’t feel like it. We lost. And Oliver... he’s just so stressed about this season. Guess I was an easy target today.”
Reaching out, you placed a hand on his arm, stroking gently. “Ignore him. He’s just upset because he cares too much about the team. But that doesn’t mean he’s right about you. You gave it your all, Fred. I could see it. And I’m so proud of you.”
You hated seeing him like this, your Fred, who always had a joke or a cheeky grin, now looking so defeated.
Fred gave you a small, grateful smile, his gaze softening further, though the weight of the day still lingered in his expression. “You’re too good to me, you know that?”
“Someone has to be,” you teased, squeezing his hand. “You’re not half as annoying as you pretend to be Weasley.”
The corner of his lips curled up ever so slightly, and you decided you’d do anything to make it stick. An idea popped into your head, and you straightened up.
“Sit on the floor,” you said suddenly.
Fred blinked at you, confused. “What? Why? You’re not planning to hex me, are you?”
“No hexes,” you promised, laughing. “Just trust me.”
Still skeptical, Fred slid off the bed and sat cross-legged on the floor. “This better be good,” he muttered, though there was a hint of amusement in his tone.
You knelt behind him, placing your hands on his broad shoulders. The moment you started massaging him, he tensed, clearly surprised.
“What are you—”
“Shh,” you interrupted, grinning. “Just relax.”
It didn’t take long for him to give in. A low groan escaped his lips as your fingers worked over the knots in his shoulders. “Merlin Y/N, that’s... bloody amazing,” he muttered, his head dipping forward.
“You’re all tense,” you said softly, your fingers kneading the muscles in his neck. “You’ve been carrying too much stress.”
Fred let out a deep sigh, his body slowly relaxing under your touch. “You’re going to put Madam Pomfrey out of a job,” he joked, his voice muffled. “This is—blimey—I could get used to this.”
You smiled, continuing to work your fingers along his shoulders and down his back. The earlier frustration and tension seemed to melt away, his breathing slowing as he leaned into your touch.
“You know,” he said after a while, his voice lighter now, “if you ever decide to quit school, you’ve got a future in saving stressed Quidditch players.”
You laughed, continuing to massage him. “I’ll keep that in mind.”
As you leaned closer, you couldn’t resist planting a soft, lingering kiss on the side of his neck. Fred’s breath hitched slightly at the unexpected gesture. Smiling against his skin, you pressed another kiss just below his ear, then one more at the curve where his neck met his shoulder.
“Wha—” Fred started, his voice thick with surprise and something softer, “what are you doing?”
“Cheering you up,” you murmured, your lips brushing against his skin as you spoke.
He let out a low, content hum, tilting his head slightly to give you more access. “Well, I’d say it’s working,” he moaned softly, his grin evident even though you couldn’t see it. “Bloody hell, you’re good at this.”
You giggled, continuing to pepper his neck with light, affectionate kisses. “Good. You deserve a little TLC after today.”
Fred turned his head slightly, his voice a little breathless now. “A little? I deserve this every day.”
“You’d get spoiled,” you teased, kissing just below his jawline.
“Already am,” he admitted with a happy sigh. “And if you don't stop I might just take you here and now." He moaned again, as you left him a hickey, sucking sweetly on the side of his neck.
"You like that Weasley?..." You cooed, continued planting sweet kisses around his neck and he threw his head back, groaning softly.
"Mhm, feels so good love..." He hummed, eyes shut as his breathing grew heavier.
You chuckled, pulling back slightly to look at him. His eyes were closed, his lips curved in the most serene smile you’d seen all day. His usual cheeky confidence was still there, but it was softer now, tempered with gratitude and affection.
When you finally stopped, Fred turned around to face you, his brown eyes warm and filled with gratitude and adoration. “My girlfriend's incredible,” he said softly, reaching for your hand.
“You’re not so bad yourself,” you replied, smiling.
He got up and made his way onto the bed, hovering over you as he pushed you down gently, making you lie down with his hands beside your head, trapping you beneath him essentially.
He then bent down into a kiss, sweet and unhurried, his lips warm against yours. You giggled, as he continued, parting your mouth slightly as his tongue slipped inside.
His lips were soft, pillowy against your own. "Fred..." you moaned into his kiss softly as he sucked on your tongue. You could feel the soft tickle of his breath beneath your nose, your fingers running through his hair as you breathed each other in.
He too, had always managed to make you melt at his touch, to feel good, to feel loved, you were weak beneath him.
When he pulled back, his forehead rested against yours, and he let out a content sigh.
“You really know how to cheer a bloke up, don’t you?” he teased, his grin finally back.
“Someone’s got to keep you from sulking,” you quipped, poking his chest playfully.
Fred chuckled, moving to lay beside you on his bed. You curled up against his side, his arm wrapped securely around you.
For the first time that day, he looked completely at ease, the weight of the match’s loss forgotten.
As you lay there together, his fingers idly traced patterns on your arm. “You know,” he said after a while, his voice soft, “I don’t deserve you.”
You tilted your head up to look at him, frowning. “Don’t say that Freddie, you're amazing. You know, despite how much of a git you can be sometimes, you deserve all the happiness in the world.” You turn to face him, brushing some messy strands away from his face to see him, your Fred.
His grin returned, this time with a mischievous glint. “Well, if you insist... I suppose I’ll let you keep spoiling me.”
You laughed, swatting his arm lightly. “Don’t push it, Weasley.”
He laughed too, pulling you closer. “Too late.”
Fred pulled you into his arms, your bodies pressed against each other, your head rested below his, melting into his chest, one of the many perks being the little spoon.
The two of you laid there, tangled together, the world outside fading into nothing. His steady breathing lulled you into a peaceful nap.
When George returned later, he peeked in, grinning at the sight of you both asleep, Fred’s arms securely around you. He quietly closed the door, leaving you both to your well-deserved rest.

—starlight
pairing: soft!mattheo riddle x fem!reader
summary: mattheo had been liking you for years and when you loose your cat, it's finally his time to prove how good of a boyfriend he would be
warnings: really small mention of a loved one dying
notes: y/n is a bit luna lovegood coded
the morning was hotter than the days before, even though it was slowly becoming fall. mattheo and his friends had decided to stay inside for the first time in weeks and were now sitting in the Iibrary, busy understanding their potions homework.
"so" enzo mumbled, the words a bit harder to recognize, because he had the tip of his quill between his lips "what is the answer to number eight?"
"if i tell you, you won't learn anything" theo, the only one who was really understanding the task at hand, groaned.
"yeah, but we would stop wasting our time" mattheo mumbled just silent enough so theo wouldn't hear. blaise, who sat next to him, laughed.
"come on, mate" draco started pleading "you know i normally get these, but it's so hot outside, i'd rather swim in the lake"
"well, you have to earn that first" theo was not budging under the pleading of his friends. blaise, draco, enzo and mattheo groaned simultaneously
"where is pansy? shouldn't she sit here with us and be annoyed at you?" blaise asked, while his eyes wandered to the empty spot next to draco, that was normally occupied by the girl.
"she's got detention with mcgonagall, i'm copying the answers for her" draco answered
"well, now that's unfair" mattheo shook his head "why don't you say anything about that, theo?"
it seemed like theo hadn't even listened to what his friends were talking about. he was busy reading the next number and looked up confused. "what?"
"forget it" mattheo hid his face in his hands, while blaise and enzo exchanged a look, rolling their eyes
"woah" blaise suddenly made next to him "isn't that y/n?"
mattheos head turned, so did the rest of his friend's.
it was indeed you. the slytherins watched in confusion how you climbed the ladder leaning against the shelf. their confusion only grew when you didn't stop climbing at the highest shelf, but used your arms to pull you up on top of the shelf.
"what is she doing?" enzo mumbled
“i have no clue” mattheo watched you closely, following your every move.
he had been kind of in love with you since the third grade. his friends found his crush on you quite interesting, considering you were a bit curious and weird, but somehow all of them agreed that it was in a cute way, a bit too stubborn, a bit too much in your own world.
maybe the carelessness and constant happy mood you were spotted with only added to their confusion. mattheo wasn’t normally the guy to go for girls like you. and it was out of the ordinary to see him as nervous as he was around you. girls normally didn't make him nervous, but you did.
they all gasped simultaneously, as one of your hands hit the shelf a bit too far left and almost made you fall down.
“oh” you said, both at your close call and their presence, you had only noticed them now. “hi” you used the hand that had almost caused you to fall to wave at them
“hey, y/n!” theo raised his hand, copying your greeting, while his eyes were still fixated on the potions book on the table in front of him. he was the only one of his friends who was also friends with you, a result of your similar interest in astronomy.
mattheo watched you closely. he had stood up to catch you, in case there was another close call. him and the rest of his friends watched you as you crawled along the shelf.
“what are you doing?” enzo asked, louder than he had planned which resulted in madam pince shushing him. "sorry" enzo cringed, but it was already too late.
his voice had been so loud and sudden, that it had made you shriek. like mattheo had predicted, you lost your balance and fell down the shelf. luckily, he caught you before you could hit the ground.
“thanks” you smiled, patting his chest and climbing out of his arms.
mattheo was stunned at how relaxed you still were after almost falling to your death. well, maybe not death but you still could've gotten hurt really bad.
“i was looking for my cat” you smiled as if it was the most logical explanation, answering enzo’s question, without any hard feeling about him causing you to fall. “but she isn’t up there”
“ahh, alright” enzo nodded, acting like he understood what you were talking about, but he looked as lost as mattheo felt.
“see you later” you waved your hand at the boys before you turned around and left the library.
mattheo quickly grabbed his potions book, ready to follow you.
“what are you doing?” theo looked at him with narrowed eyes, almost sounding offended “we haven’t finished number nine yet”
“i was trying to..” mattheo trailed off, pointing at where you had last stood
“go” draco directed, pushing theo, who was ready to get up and discuss things with mattheo, back down in his seat.
blaise plastered a hand over theo’s mouth as he started protesting. mattheo nodded at his friends, silently thanking them, before he ran out of the library, hoping to still catch you.
to his luck, you had enough time on you to walk through the halls slowly.
“hey” mattheo breathed, matching your step “do you need help looking for your cat?”
“sure” you seemed happy enough about his suggestion “her name is starlight, but she doesn’t really answer to that, so there’s no point in calling her”
“okay” mattheo nodded “and she normally spends her time on top of the library shelves?”
“sometimes” you shrugged “she mostly spends her time all over the castle”
“do you often do things like that?”
“what?” you smiled “climb on top of shelves and let pretty boys catch me? not really, no” you shook your head laughing, while mattheo was still stuck on what you had described him as.
“how does starlight look like?” he tried a different approach as he followed you through the halls, almost sure you were heading to the astronomy tower.
“she’s a ginger cat”
“well, that’s explains a lot” mattheo laughed and you joined in “why doesn’t she answer to her name?”
“she belonged to my grandfather, she would only ever answer his calling, or react to his voice in general” you explained “he died a few months ago and my parents thought about giving her away, so she's now staying with me”
“that’s sad” mattheo frowned “i’m sorry about your loss”
“don’t be” you smiled up at him with big eyes and he almost missed a step on the way up. “he wasn’t the nicest, i don’t think he even liked anyone apart from his cat, but she’s nice enough most of the time”
“i get it” mattheo nodded understandingly “so where would she normally hide?” he looked around the room, trying to spot the orange fur of your cat. now that he thought about it, he remembered you chasing her around the halls a few times.
“you mind helping me up?” you pointed at the wooden beam over both of your heads
“seems like she prefers the higher spots, huh?” mattheo asked sarcastically, before he picked you up without another word of protest
you climbed on top of the beam, turning your head, before you finally shook it and mattheo helped you back down.
“where could she be if she isn’t here either?”
“i have one last spot in mind” you nodded, thinking “if she isn’t there, then i don’t know where she could still be”
“well, hopefully she is”
“as long as she’s fine” you smiled
mattheo followed you back down the steps of the tower, pending what he could still ask you. he wouldn’t waste any time he could spend with you, he would make the most of it.
his mind was racing, trying to come up with something, but the only thing he could remember was the list of thirty six questions blaise had shown him the day before, swearing that those were the best icebreakers at a first date.
well, this was far from a first date, but it did not hurt to try
“given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?” he muttered, recalling the first question.
your face lit up at his sudden question. “that’s a fun question” you smiled “let me think about it. does the person have to be alive?”
mattheo shook his head
“well then i would pick my grandmother, i think” you smiled, deep in thought “she was a great woman. i remember my grandfather being a decent person back when she was alive. she used to make these crocheted hats for me. i have them in almost every color”
“that sounds nice” mattheo smiled as he noticed how your features lit up while talking about your grandma. he followed you into the great hall, not even questioning it.
“what about you?” you asked him, taking a quick turn and walking up the steps around the wall of the entryway.
“what about me?” mattheo repeated confused
“yeah” you laughed at his forgetfulness “who would you have dinner with?”
“i don’t know” mattheo shrugged
“i don’t accept that answer” you shook your head “i can't believe that no one comes to mind at that”
there was someone coming to mattheo’s mind. but he couldn’t tell you. right now, he only wanted to have dinner with one person and that person was you, and maybe your cat, because not finding her would probably mean that you would be sad otherwise.
“merlin” mattheo answered quickly and you raised your eyebrows
“fan?”
“the biggest” mattheo grinned and cringed the moment your eyes left his face. he was ready to turn around and run away, but your sudden calling kept him from it.
“starlight!” you laughed, holding out your arms and catching the orange cat that had been about to fall from the highest shelf.
“hey” mattheo cooed, softly stroking the cat’s head. the cat hissed at him and he quickly pulled his hand back.
“she likes you” you smiled brightly despite starlight proving the opposite.
“you really think so?” mattheo asked unsurely.
“of course” you were pulling the cat close to your chest “she’s smiling at you”
mattheo wasn’t so sure about that. starlight looked like she was ready to claw his eyes out if left unattended in the same room.
starlight settled on top of your shoulder as you began to walk back down the stairs. mattheo was ready to follow, but starlight hissed at him over you shoulder and it took him a second longer to catch up to you.
despite anything you had previously said, he was sure that that cat absolutely loved you, even if she often spend her time sleeping in the most ridiculous places and making you search for her. he was sure you loved her just as much, even you had so casually talked about the cat's situation he had noticed that you couldn't have endured your parents just giving her away. he had also noticed the worry in your eyes when stalright hadn't been in the astronomy tower.
additional to that, he was also sure she already hated him. maybe she could sense the inappropriate thoughts he sometimes had about you.
“thank you for your help” you had walked mattheo back to the doors of the library, after he had claimed that his friends would probably appreciate his return to finish the homework.
“no problem” he smiled and he had almost sighed at how pretty you were, just simply standing in front of him “i’d do anything” he mumbled under his breath.
“what?” you laughed, not having understood a sound of what he had mumbled. starlight was busy playing with a strand of your hair. mattheo had to smile at that and you mirrored his expression.
“doesn’t matter” mattheo shrugged and his smile grew brighter as he watched you laugh at him.
you softly held a hand in front of starlight's eyes, before you stood on your tiptoes, softly kissing mattheo's cheek. “thank you, maybe we could have dinner some day” you said, before you waved him a final goodbye “say goodbye starlight” the cat hissed at him once again and you smiled pleased, before you turned around and walked back in the direction of your dorm.
“i’d do anything” mattheo repeated his earlier words when you were far enough away. his cheeks were red and his hand touched the spot on which your lips had rested a few seconds ago. “anything”

A WHIMSICAL DEAL | T.N NOTT X READER
word count \ 1.6k | fluff and stuff | slash / theodore nott x reader
in which theodore meets you at a Slytherin party and can’t get you out of his head author's note at the end!
A WHIMSICAL DEAL | THEODORE NOTT X READER
Theodore hasn’t set up a Slytherin party in almost a month because of exams.
That was something that had to change.
He and Mattheo had snuck into Honeydukes through the Hidden Eye passage, The barrel was hard to lift, but easy to sneak into the dorms under a simple Illusion Charm.
The tables were hidden in a small hole in the wall Lorenzo made, his expertise in bartending coming in handy as he set up a minibar for the party. No free drinks would ever pass under his eye, not unless either him or his friends wanted a good lay-in for the night.
For the most part, it was Slytherins at this party. Either that, or houses that were in the know.
Luna Lovegood was the most recent addition to the Slytherin’s main party squad. Ever since her and Blaise began dating, she started to visit the parties more and more to help set up and clean. While Mattheo and Theo weren’t so sure about it at first, the drink combinations she ended up making had gotten at least 20 more party-goers.
One of them being you.
Theodore had noticed you almost as soon as you entered the Common Room. You had a certain aura about you that he just couldn’t not notice, elegance he had never seen in anyone else he ever met in his life.
He had almost dropped his drink right then and there, quickly regaining his composure as he approached you. Enzo was going to have a field day with him. “Can I get you a drink, lovely?”
“A drink?” you giggled softly, hand resting on your hip. You looked so magical within the Slytherin lighting, something almost ethereal or radiant shining off of you. “I believe that you have Whorpflasters whispering in your ears.”
“Whorpflasters?” Theo asked incredulously, voice coming out more nervous than he intended.
“Yes, Whorpflasters!” you repeated, nodding slowly. “They’re very rude. Usually they whisper insecurities in your mind, especially around settings you’re not particularly comfortable with. Are you okay with being at this part?”
“Uh,” he whispered, a small blush creeping on his face. “Yeah, I’m good here.”
“Perhaps it’s exams.” you nodded, patting his head. “I think that you passed them with flying colors, if the Querbs following you are any tell.”
Theo nodded incredulously at that, watching you smile that whimsical smile before you walked off to get a drink. Enzo had winked at him when he saw you walking over, pointing his head to Blaise and Luna standing over his shoulder.
“Theodore, hello!” Luna said to him. She had whimsy about her too, though it just wasn’t the same as yours. Nothing he could think of seemed to compare to you.
“Hey there Luna.” he nodded, swallowing a bit of his drink before looking back at you.
“Have you met Y/N?” Luna asked, waving to Blaise as he walked off to talk to Mattheo and Draco.
“Uh,” he whispered, staring at you before looking back. “Yeah, yeah I met her. She said that I have Whorpflasters in my ear from exams, and Querbs following me around.”
“Well, do you?” Luna asked, her head leaning back and forth as she seemingly examined him.
“I have no idea what Querbs even are.” Theo whispered, hopelessly looking back at you again. You were standing at the end of the bar waiting for your drink, completely out of place yet fitting in all at the same time.
“They’re spirits attracted to intelligence.” Luna said to him simply, taking a small sip of her drink. “Though it seems that you’re also being visited by their cousins, Uerbs. Rather recently too.”
“The difference being?” Theo asked, looking at Luna incredulously.
“They follow people who have fallen in love.” Luna smiled, raising her glass slightly before walking over to where you were standing at the bar.
Theo was screwed.
“Luna said that you wanted to talk to me.”
Theo turned around as soon as he heard your voice, blinking in confusion when he saw you.
The both of you were currently in the library, Theo standing by one of the windows while he waited for Blaise. Blaise, who was supposedly meant to be meeting him for a small party reconstruction.
He quickly realized that this meeting was not about party reconstruction. That didn’t mean he wouldn’t take advantage of it though.
“Oh,” he muttered, clearing his throat. “Yeah, I wanted to ask you about Querbs.”
“Oh, Querbs!” you said, clasping your hands together. “Yes, they’re creatures from intelligence. They’re said to come from Phoenixes, their ashes are full of life and often produce a spark of it. It’s very miniscule and hard to detect, especially with the increasing levels of Phoenix endangerment.”
“That sounds very dangerous.” Theo agreed, subconsciously pulling a chair out for you before sitting down himself. “Why is that?”
“Well, that’s because of their feathers.” you explained to him. “Poachers love the fire they create, oftentimes a small lint from the feather can be used in extremely dangerous bombs. Two single feathers could blow up half of Hogwarts if the bomb is made correctly.”
“That’s,” he paused. “Really powerful.”
“Very much so.” you nodded. “Querbs come from those small sparks that feather lints leave. Of course, there’s also Uerbs. And then there are Xuerbs, but those are rare.”
He had heard about Uerbs, and quite frankly did not want to approach that topic. “What are Xuerbs?”
“They’re like baby Dementors in a sende.” you hummed. “Like Whorpflasters, but worse.”
“That doesn’t sound pleasant,” he said. “Is it?”
“No.” you shook your head. “But, there are much more pleasant creatures out there. Liborati are rather unique, they feel off of herbal plants in a way that is often rather good for them.”
Theo smiled softly as you explained how Liborati helped plants develop magical energy, and eventually went into more details about Querbs. He watched as you pulled out small books and read him passages, clearly very enthusiastic to explain this all to someone.
Theo questioned whether anyone else had ever bothered to listen, though he felt his brain short-circuit the moment your hand met his.
Maybe Uerbs weren’t so bad after all.
Theo and Luna currently were at the linrary together, both of them having been sent on a mission to get snacks for a sick Blaise. Why Theo was invited, he wasn’t sure.
“How are you and Y/N coming along?”
Now he was sure.
“What exactly is meant to be coming along between us?” Theo asked curiously, his hands in his pockets as he walked.
It had only been a week since he met you at the party, but he had already fallen head over heels. It was absolutely impossible to hide from anyone who truly knew him, especially since he couldn’t keep his eyes off of you.
No matter where he went, he couldn’t not think of you. Drinking, partying, sleeping, or doing schoolwork, you were always there on his mind. Sometimes he’d pretend that he was talking to you in order to keep himself sane, repeating your ramble on Uerbs and Querbs and Whorpflasters in his mind for hours at a time.
Even still, he hadn’t particularly asked you anything. Just about things you liked.
“You have more Uerbs developing by the second whenever you hang out with her, I found an infestation of them near your pillow.” Luna said. “Do you dream of her that often?”
“What is it with you two and being able to read people through creatures?” Theo groaned, looking down at the floor as he spoke. “Me and her are, well, I’m working on it. I can’t see things like you do, so you’re going to have to give me a moment.”
“You are quite lost.” Luna said calmly, her hands moving to open the door to Honeydukes. “I felt you’d want to know she has Uerbs following her around too. They’ve grown quite fond of you.”
Theo sighed softly as he stomped his foot a bit impatiently, hoping that nobody else would walk out of the tower but you.
He was currently standing in front of the doors of the Ravenclaw Tower. Or at least, what would be a door. It was a statue of a bird which obnoxiously asked riddles he didn’t have any time for, so he offered to stand and wait for you.
Though that idea seemed to be wearing off completely. That was until you walked out
“Theo?” you asked, your eyes darting up and down him. He had done his hair just a bit nicer than usual. He was wearing a suit, albeit rather tame, with a bouquet of your favorite flowers in hand. Along with all of that, he somehow seemed to find a limited edition of the book you had been wanting to read for ages, a signature from the author directly on the cover.
“I want to take you out on a date.” he whispered, holding the objects out to you. There was a large blush covering his face, eyes darting to the floor. “Will you, maybe, go on a date with me?”’
“Theo, I,” you whispered, looking at him incredulously before giggling softly. “Have you noticed my Uerbs too then?”
“I,” he whispered before nodding as he remembered what Luna said. “Yeah, I did.”
“I would love to go out with you.” you smiled, that whimsical smile that he couldn’t seem to get enough of. “Where did you want to go?”
“I made a dinner reservation, about two hours from now.” he whispered, smiling genuinely once you said yes. You had said yes. You had said yes.”
“Let me get ready then. Give me just twenty minutes or so.” you smiled, before turning back around to get ready. Theo chuckled at the sounds of your small yet excited squeals.

replaying your laughter
harry potter x slytherin!fem!reader ― Harry has a crush on a Slytherin, which could collapse the entire school, but he doesn't seem to care much.
slightly inspired by 'message in a bottle' by taylor swift. there could be a second part if anyone's interested in it. don't forget to like, or reblog, or leave a comment! those are always appreaciated.
word count: 1.4k
part two (covered in you)
#masterlist!
Harry was sure that half – maybe even more than half – of Gryffindors House would never forgive him for having a crush on a Slytherin. Yet, Harry couldn’t really bring himself to care. The lot of them had called him a liar just last year, and none of them, friends or not, had the right to tell him who was appropriate enough or not to go on a date with.
It was hard not to miss her when she was one of the few Slytherins in Harry’s year who had never insulted him nor any of his friends. As a half-blood, she didn’t care about ‘blood traitors’ or muggleborns nor was she a member of Malfoy’s gang. Also, the fact that she was best friends with Luna Lovegood made her trustworthy in Harry’s eyes.
Although they had shared many classes during their years at Hogwarts, Harry didn’t know when he’d started to feel this way towards her. Had it been during their third year, after he’d seen her yell curses at Marcus Flint because he didn’t want girls in the Slytherin Quidditch Team? Had it been during their fourth year, after he saw her in an elegant, deep blue gown at the Yule Ball dancing with a Ravenclaw a year older than them? Had it been during their fifth year, after he’d seen her comfort two first years from Slytherin and Hufflepuff that had spent their afternoon in Umbridge’s office? Had these feelings been there since he’d met her on the train in their first year after she couldn’t find her older sister?
Has he always been so clueless?
Now, despite the fact that this recently discovered crush made Harry’s heart almost burst out of his chest any time he’d see her – whether in real life or in his dreams –, it didn’t mean that he would easily hand the victory to Slytherin in the match they were about to play.
Standing face to face with Urquhart, Slytherin’s new Quidditch Captain, Harry tried to avoid her eyes and how imposing she looked dressed in the deepest hue of emerald green. Still, when Madame Hooch blew the whistle, Harry couldn’t help but raise his head in her direction. Her eyes quickly settled on his, and Harry almost punched himself for being the first one to look away.
Up in the sky, a hand on his broom keeping him steady, he thought he’d have a moment of peace from her. But, in his defence, flying round the pitch looking for the snitch and making sure that his team was playing well eventually led him to find the force of nature that was her on top of a broom. Watching the speed at which she flew, Harry was somewhat relieved that she had never intended to become a Seeker. Yet, as magnificent as she was with a Quaffle in her hands, Ron’s confidence that there was Liquid Luck running through his system managed to block all of the shots she’d thrown at him. Anyone could tell from the look on her face and her stance on her broom that she wanted to rip off Ron’s head, probably use it to mark a few points as well. Her kindness, Harry realised then, did not make her less of a competitive hothead.
The match finished with the snitch in Harry’s hands, granting yet another win to Gryffindor. A smile on his face, he let his eyes trail over his team, each with a grin on their faces as big as his. He saw Ron lifting both of his arms, celebrating with the scarlet and gold crowd, and Ginny dive-bombing into the podium from where Zacharias Smith had been calling the match.
Harry looked for her once more, finding her already on the ground with the rest of the Slytherin Quidditch Team. He’d started descending when he saw what seemed to be a fight between her and Urquhart. The Slytherin Quidditch Team had a finger pointed to her chest, which she quickly dismissed with a jab of her hand and a hissed that Harry got to hear as a ‘Don’t fucking touch me’. This infuriated Urquhart more, making him get closer to her face, but with only a stamp of her foot, she sent him flying backwards.
Madame Hooch’s whistle blew loudly across the pitch, and the crowd finally caught on what was happening. Harry saw them go from celebrating, or sulking in the case of the silver and green sea of people, to whispering excitedly about the tussle. Urquhart was now marching in her direction, though Harry noticed some hesitation on his pace when the determination settled on her face. He had known, not that Harry spent a lot of time observing her, that she was very capable at wandless magic. In Urquhart’s case, he was always ready to start a brawl, yet he never saw through; opting, instead, to play it cool when he realised that he wouldn’t come out triumphant.
Because of some kind of instinct, Harry drew closer to the Slytherin Quidditch Team, standing a few paces behind her. Zabini observed him, his eyes were narrowed and his arms were crossed; it was clear he wasn’t there to stop his teammates from fighting each other. Suddenly, Snape stood between Urquhart and (Y/N). His face was rougher than usual and with only a few words he sent the Slytherin Captain back to the castle. Then, Snape turned to them, raising his eyebrows at the sight of Harry.
“Potter, shouldn’t you be celebrating?” Said Snape. The mere mention of the word ‘celebrating’ added a layer of disgust to his face. “Or is it that you cannot bear that the attention is not on you?”
Before answering, he looked at her. She had glanced back at him at the mention of his name, clearly surprised that he was here. Their eyes met for a brief second, one in which Harry noted the colour of his eyes was similar to that of her robes.
“I was only making sure that none of the players of your house got hurt. Seeing as Malfoy wasn’t here to play today, to get yet another replacement would surely affect the team.”
“How… heroic. Always ready to save the day, Potter.” Harry smiled sarcastically at Snape’s comment. “Miss, I expect to see you at my office tomorrow morning. We will discuss your detention.”
“Detention? Urquhart was the one to start the fight. He was the one yelling at me and getting all over my face.” Harry was certain that weren’t for the fact that Snape was a professor and the Head of her House, he would have suffered the same fate as Urquhart, thrown back across the pitch. He stopped himself from laughing at the mental picture of that.
“It’s not up to discussion, but if you keep complaining you will do a month of detention rather than two weeks.” With her silence and the matter already settled, Snape started walking towards the castle, Zabini and the rest followed him.
Now that the two of them were alone, Harry didn’t know what to say. The bleachers were emptying, some members of his team had already left the pitch.
“Um, thanks for that, I guess,” she mumbled. It seemed she didn’t know what to say either.
“Uh, yeah, no problem.”
There was another moment of silence where both of them avoided each other’s gaze, looking at their shoes or the brown gloves on their hands.
“What did- What did Urquhart say to you?” Harry asked. He was curious, but he also wanted to keep talking to her.
“He basically blamed the loss on me, saying I wasn’t fast enough or my aim was off, which could be true, but it’s not as if the rest of the team got the same. He said it to me because I’m the only girl, so…”
“So he’s a prick and no better than Flint.”
She laughed at that, softly and probably reminiscing that time she cursed him for not wanting to put her on the team. Harry swore that if he could hear that laugh play in the back of his mind forever, he wouldn’t need anything else. It would be her laugh that’d spurred him on. He thought about running to Dumbledore’s office and using the pensieve to replay this moment over and over again.
“Yeah, at least Montague would yell at all of us.” She mentioned while beginning to play with the strap on her gloves. “Anyways, I think it’s time for me to get back, and you have a win to celebrate.”
“Yeah, yeah, I do. But, um, you played well today. You’re a great Chaser.”
She whispered a small ‘thanks’, biting her lower lip in an attempt to contain the grin that was about to erupt in her face.
thank you for reading!

if you don’t feel comfortable that’s totally fine!! love your work
An: Thank you and I'm sorry this took so long! I got a little carried away I am so sorry.
Expectations
Wolfstar!Daughter who is struggling to express her sexuality...
Summary: (See above) Reminiscing on some romantic encounters, you have come to the conclusion Harry Potter is not someone you'd ever date. HURT/COMFORT
WC: 7.1k
CW: The reader is so gay, she kissed Luna and Ginny, almost kissed Hermione, some intense negative self talk, mentions of not eating and guilty James and Sirius
The warm smell of toast and coffee wafted through the kitchen as you thundered down the stairs, your shoes slapping against the wood with unbothered energy. The kitchen was alive with the sound of the radio crackling softly in the corner, a cheerful tune mingling with the chatter of voices and the occasional clink of dishes.
Lily stood at the stove, flicking her wand to keep the eggs from burning. James leaned casually against the counter, chewing on a piece of toast and grinning at Sirius, who was regaling everyone with a clearly exaggerated story about his work as an Auror the day before. Remus sat at the table, reading the Daily Prophet with a steaming cup of tea in his hand.
You slipped past Lily with precision, she hardly glanced over her shoulder, smirking. “Late again, I see. I suppose your grand entrance was worth skipping breakfast?”
You gave her a cheeky grin, swiping the slice of toast right out of James’s hand as you breezed by. “Skipping? Please, I’m right on time,” You quipped, taking a dramatic bite and ignoring James’s exaggerated gasp of betrayal.
“Oi!” James protested, clutching his now-empty hand. “I was munching on that!”
“You snooze, you lose, Potter,” You shot back, already rounding the table to Sirius. He was mid-sentence in his story when your arms looped around his shoulders, pulling him into a quick hug. He stopped talking just long enough to lean into the affection, grinning like the proud dad he was.
“Morning, Cherry Bomb,” Sirius greeted, ruffling your hair as you pulled away.
“Morning, Dad,” You hummed breezily before turning to Remus. You leaned down to give him an exaggeratedly loud kiss on the cheek, making him chuckle and shake his head.
“You’re in a good mood,” Remus observed, a small smile tugging at his lips as he folded his newspaper.
“Am I not always?” You asked, snagging another slice of toast from the plate on the table and tossing him a wink.
Laughter and banter filled the room again as the chaos resumed. The radio switched to another upbeat tune, and Lily turned back to her cooking, muttering something about “pot-stirrers” under her breath. Sirius leaned back in his chair, smirking at James’s ongoing complaints about his stolen toast, and Remus sipped his tea, watching the scene unfold with fond amusement.
“Pops, can you-” You started, pointing toward the creamer sitting just out of reach on the table. Before you could even finish your sentence, Remus flicked his wand, and the creamer floated gracefully into your hand.
“Thanks, Pops,” You sang with a grin, pouring a splash into your coffee. “You’re on top of it today.”
“I try,” Remus replied with a faint smirk, returning to his tea and paper without missing a beat.
Before you could reach for the sugar, a familiar hand slid it toward you from the corner of the table. Harry, his hair even messier than usual, had just shuffled into the kitchen, still looking half-asleep but apparently sharp enough to anticipate your needs.
“Here,” he mumbled, stifling a yawn as he pushed the sugar closer.
You gasped dramatically, holding your hand to your chest as though he’d just saved your life. “And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why you’re my favorite Potter.”
Harry blinked at you, clearly too tired to respond with his usual quick wit. “Not a high bar,” He muttered, sliding into the chair next to Remus and slumping forward.
James, who had been about to take a sip of coffee, froze mid-motion, eyes widening in mock offense. “Excuse me?! I am the original Potter- one might say the prototype- and therefore the best!”
“Don’t forget the loudest,” Sirius added with a grin, earning a glare from James.
Lily turned from the stove, wagging her spatula in your direction. “Careful, love, you’re going to give Harry a big head.”
You snorted, swirling your coffee as you leaned back against the counter. “Please, his head’s big enough already. I’m just giving credit where it’s due.”
Harry, now more awake, gave you a sideways glance, a hint of a smirk creeping onto his face. “You know, you’re really setting the bar low if all it takes is a sugar bowl to win you over.”
“Hey,” you shot back, pointing your spoon at him, “don’t underestimate the power of good timing and selflessness, Potter. You could learn a thing or two from your favorite person.”
Harry rolled his eyes, leaning back in his chair. “If I’m your favorite, I dread to think how you treat your least favorite.”
“Easy,” You cheeked with a wicked grin, “I steal their toast.”
James groaned dramatically, throwing his hands up. “Unbelievable! You two are ganging up on me. Is this what parenthood leads to? Betrayal at every turn?”
“Seems like it,” Sirius chimed in, leaning back in his chair with a wolfish grin. “Honestly, Prongs, they’d make a great couple- at least then someone would appreciate your genes.”
You nearly choked on your coffee, sputtering as you quickly set the mug down. “Oh, come on,” You shot at Sirius, your tone sharp but playful, though a prickle of discomfort crept into your chest.
James was grinning now, clearly enjoying himself. “You know, he’s not wrong. Potter and Black- it’s destiny, really. Perfect balance of brains and chaos.”
“Merlin’s beard, not this again,” You groaned, running a hand down your face. “The only thing Harry and I are destined for is quidditch captain, and I’m winning.”
“But think of the headlines!” Sirius pressed on, clearly relishing the way you were squirming. “‘Auror Legacy Marries rebel Black 2.0.’ It’s got a ring to it.”
“Don’t,” Lily cut in sharply, waving her spatula like a weapon. “You’re embarrassing them.”
Remus huffed quietly, setting his tea down with a frown. “Honestly, can’t the two of you give it a rest? They’re kids, not a tabloid story.”
You seized the moment, folding your arms and aiming your most cutting glare at your dads. “Thank you, Pops. Finally, someone with some sense.”
Sirius, unbothered, leaned over to nudge James. “You notice how defensive she’s getting? Means we’re onto something.”
“That’s because you’re delusional,” You snapped, though your tone had lost its bite. “For the record, Harry and I would never work. He’s a disaster, I’m a disaster, and that’s just too much disaster for one relationship.”
Harry raised an eyebrow at you, a sly grin tugging at the corner of his lips. “Speak for yourself. I’d carry this disaster just fine.”
“Oh, please,” You fired back, your grin tight but still intact. “You can’t even carry your Firebolt without tripping over your own feet.”
The room erupted in laughter, and you forced a chuckle, though the weight of their teasing lingered. You’d always been good at playing along, but this time, something about it felt different. The jokes stung in a way they hadn’t before, but you weren't ignorant to why.
The laughter in the kitchen echoed around you, but it began to feel muffled, as if someone had pressed a pillow over your ears. You stared at your coffee mug, your grin faltering slightly, though you were careful to hide it. The jokes about you and Harry- something you’d always brushed off with ease- felt heavier lately, the sting burrowing deeper into your chest.
Your grip tightened around the coffee mug as the laughter in the kitchen grew distant, the sound blurring into background noise. Your mind wandered, pulling you back to a quieter moment, one you rarely let yourself dwell on.
The library was quiet save for the soft rustle of pages and the occasional whispered reprimand from Madam Pince. You’d been helping Hermione find a particularly elusive book for her research, one she was determined to get her hands on without incurring the wrath of the ever-watchful librarian.
“You’re sure it’s up there?” Hermione had whispered, standing on her tiptoes as she pointed toward the highest shelf.
“Positive,” you’d replied, smirking as you pulled your wand out and flicked it expertly. The book floated down, landing gently in her hands.
“Show-off,” she murmured, though her lips curved into a faint smile.
You’d grinned back, feeling uncharacteristically shy under her warm gaze. The moment lingered longer than it should have, her eyes searching yours as she clutched the book to her chest. There had been something there- something thrillingly unfamiliar. The space between you had felt electric, the quiet of the library amplifying every breath, every heartbeat.
You’d thought about leaning in, about what it might feel like to close the gap. But the creak of Madam Pince’s footsteps had shattered the moment, and you’d stepped back, laughing it off as Hermione tucked the book under her arm and muttered something about returning to the common room.
“Oi,” Sirius’s voice cut through your thoughts, pulling you back to the present. You blinked, realizing the room had gone quieter. Sirius leaned back in his chair, his expression softening as he looked at you. “You alright, trouble?”
“Yeah,” You smiled quickly, plastering on your signature grin to mask the lingering thoughts. “Just tired, I guess.”
Sirius didn’t press, but his gaze lingered a moment longer before he turned back to James, who was recounting a story you’d already heard a dozen times.
“Well,” Sirius said, clapping his hands on the table as he stood. “Time to pack it up, everyone. Let’s head home before the house decides to redecorate itself again.”
Lily shot him a look, though there was a smile playing on her lips. “That house doesn’t need redecorating. It needs a miracle.”
Sirius smirked. “And I’m just the man for the job.”
You chuckled softly, slipping off your stool and stretching as the others began gathering their things.
For now, you focused on the warmth of the kitchen, the familiar sound of Sirius and James bickering, and the way Remus always managed to keep everything running smoothly. It was enough, at least for the moment.
The goodbyes at the Potters’ were as warm and chaotic as the morning had been. Hugs were exchanged, and James couldn’t resist pulling you into an exaggerated bear hug, practically lifting you off your feet.
“Take care of my heir, Cherry Bomb,” James teased, grinning ear to ear as he nodded toward Harry. “You two are a dream team, after all.”
“James,” Lily said warningly, her tone sharp but her smile betraying her amusement.
“You’re delusional,” You shot back with a scoff, but the heat rising to your cheeks betrayed how much the teasing was starting to wear on you. You glanced at Harry, who offered you a small, sympathetic smile before pulling you into a quick side hug of his own.
“Don’t let them get to you,” Harry mumbled under his breath. “They’re impossible.”
“Right back at you,” You replied with a crooked grin, but your heart wasn’t entirely in it.
As you stepped back, Sirius clapped a hand on Harry’s shoulder and gave you a knowing smirk. “Don’t worry, Prongs, I’ll make sure they don’t elope without your blessing.”
“Oh, for Merlin’s sake!” You groaned, throwing your hands up as Remus gave Sirius a pointed look and muttered something about restraint.
“Goodbye, Lily,” You said pointedly, ignoring the boys and turning to give her a warm hug. She gave you a small squeeze, whispering a quick “Be patient with them” in your ear before you stepped away.
Sirius finally ushered you toward the car, jingling the keys in his hand like a prize. “Alright, let’s hit the road before James gets any more brilliant ideas.”
Remus rolled his eyes as he slipped into the passenger seat. “Or before you make any, for that matter.”
You climbed into the backseat, slumping against the window as Sirius started the car with a triumphant flourish. He seemed to take a little too much pleasure in the sputtering growl of the engine, muttering something under his breath about “showing Walburga what she’s talking about.”
The car pulled away from the Potters’ house, and the chatter in the front seat quickly turned into playful bickering between your dads. Sirius insisted he didn’t need a map, while Remus quietly pointed out every turn they were about to miss.
But you barely registered their voices. Instead, you stared out the window, your mind wandering again. The familiar streets blurred together as you replayed the events of the morning, the teasing, the lingering stares, and the way Harry’s half-smile seemed to carry a shared understanding.
But still, you were elsewhere.
You and Ginny had been wandering aimlessly, avoiding curfews and teachers, giggling over whatever nonsense had entertained you that day.
She had shoved you playfully against the wall in a narrow corridor, her fiery red hair catching the dim light as she grinned up at you. You’d retaliated immediately, pushing her back with a mock growl, but she was quicker, spinning and pinning you to the stone wall with a strength that belied her smaller frame.
“You’ve got to stop underestimating me,” She teased, her freckled nose scrunching as she smirked. “One day, I’ll wipe that cocky grin off your face.”
“Big words for a Weasley,” You quipped, grinning. “Want to back them up?”
Ginny paused then, her smile faltering just enough for you to notice. Her hands lingered on your shoulders, her grip light but steady. Her brown eyes softened, and something thick hung in the air between you, heavy and electric.
Her voice dropped, quiet and teasing, but there was a nervous edge beneath her bravado.
“Have you ever kissed a girl before?”
The question caught you off guard, and for a moment, all you could do was stare at her, the confident grin slipping from your face. You opened your mouth to respond, but before you could say a word, Ginny leaned in.
Her lips brushed yours, soft and tentative, the kiss lasting only a heartbeat. It was over almost as soon as it began, but the feeling lingered- a spark, warm and thrilling, like the crackle of fire catching on dry wood.
You barely had time to process it before Ginny leaned back, her cheeks flushed as she studied your face. “Well?” She asked, her tone light but her eyes searching. “How was that?”
You swallowed, your voice coming out a little breathless despite your best efforts to play it cool. “Not bad, Weasley. Not bad at all.”
Ginny’s grin returned, bright and cheeky. “Told you I’d shut you up one day.”
Before you could respond, Ron’s voice rang out from the far end of the corridor, calling for Ginny. The two of you jumped apart as if burned, your heart racing as her brother’s footsteps approached.
“Guess I'm caught.” Ginny muttered, casting you a quick glance. Her expression was a mix of amusement and something deeper- something you were familiar with. She turned on her heel, jogging down the corridor to meet Ron as if nothing had happened.
You stood frozen for a moment, your fingertips brushing your lips as you replayed the moment over and over in your mind.
“Oi, trouble,” Sirius’s voice yanked you back to the present, his tone amused but curious. “You’ve been awfully quiet back there. What’s on your mind?”
You blinked, realizing you were still in the car, the hum of the engine grounding you as the memory faded. You plastered on a grin, shaking your head as you leaned back in your seat.
“Just tired, dad,” you replied, your voice light and teasing. “Long morning.”
Sirius glanced at you in the rearview mirror, his eyes narrowing slightly in suspicion, but he didn’t press. “Well, don’t fall asleep back there. I’m not carrying you up the stairs again.”
Remus chuckled softly, turning in his seat to look at you with a knowing smile. “He says that, but we both know he would.”
You laughed, grateful for the distraction they didn't know they provided.
The car pulled to a stop in front of Grimmauld Place, and you were out of the backseat before Sirius could even turn off the engine. The heavy door creaked open under your hand, and the familiar musty air of the house greeted you. You were halfway up the stairs when Walburga Black’s shrill voice began to echo from her portrait in the hallway.
“Filthy half-bloods! Defilers of the noble house of Black!”
Without missing a beat, you stopped at the landing and turned to face her, smirking as her painted eyes glared daggers at you.
“Oh, shut it, you old hag,” You snapped, your voice dripping with mockery. “If this house had any standards left, your frame would be collecting dust in the attic.”
Walburga’s wails grew louder, incoherent insults tumbling from her mouth. Behind you, Sirius strode in, shaking snow from his jacket as he glanced up at the commotion.
“Oi, pup, what’s all this noise about?” He called, grinning when he spotted you leaning casually against the banister.
“Just giving dear old Gran her daily reminder that she’s irrelevant,” You shrugged, crossing your arms. “Thought she might appreciate the consistency.”
Sirius barked out a laugh, dropping his keys onto the hall table. “Ah, you’re a good kid. Keeping family tradition alive.”
He turned to Walburga’s portrait with an exaggerated bow. “Lovely as always, Mother. But if you don’t pipe down, I’ll have to introduce you to my new Muggle rock records.”
Her screeches hit a new pitch, and Sirius winked at you before turning to Remus, who was rolling his eyes and carrying the bags into the livingroom.
“Don’t encourage her,” Remus muttered, though his lips twitched with a faint smile.
Sirius waved him off, clearly pleased with himself. You snickered and started back up the stairs, shouting one last retort over your shoulder at Walburga.
“Hope you have a terrible night, you miserable cow.”
Her howls followed you all the way to your bedroom door, but you ignored them, shutting yourself inside with a satisfying click.
You flopped onto your bed with a dramatic sigh, your body sinking into the mattress. The familiar creak of the springs beneath you was oddly comforting, even as your mind wandered. Staring at the cracked ceiling, you let the faint noises of the house fade into the background: the distant hum of conversation downstairs, the occasional groan of the pipes, the muffled screeches of Walburga’s indignation.
The memories came rushing back unbidden, weaving themselves into the present.
It was well past midnight. Grimmauld Place was silent except for the occasional creak of the old house settling, its usual cacophony of voices replaced by the muffled hum of distant dreams. The kitchen was dimly lit by a single candle, its flickering flame casting dancing shadows on the aged stone walls. You and Luna had crept downstairs, stifling giggles like two schoolchildren sneaking past a strict headmaster.
Luna sat on the counter, her legs swinging idly, her pale blonde hair catching the soft glow of the candlelight. She watched you rummage through the pantry with the serene curiosity she always seemed to carry, her gaze steady and unbothered even when you nearly dropped a jar of biscuits.
Her soft laughter bubbled up, the sound light and airy, wrapping around you like a warm blanket. “Careful,” she teased, her voice barely above a whisper. “We wouldn’t want to wake the ghosts.”
You turned to her, holding up the jar triumphantly. “Ghosts don’t care about biscuits, Luna,” you quipped, though your tone lacked its usual edge. Something about her presence always softened you.
Luna tilted her head, a dreamy smile playing on her lips. “Maybe not. But I imagine they’d enjoy the company.”
Her words hung in the air between you, her gaze steady and unwavering. The intimacy of the moment- the stillness of the house, the shared laughter, the closeness- felt overwhelming. You set the jar down on the counter, your movements slow and deliberate, as if afraid to shatter the fragile quiet.
“What?” You asked softly, your voice low as you stepped closer. The question wasn’t accusatory, just curious, as though you could feel the weight of her thoughts pressing against you.
Luna didn’t respond with words. Instead, she leaned down, her movements slow and deliberate, as if giving you the chance to step away. When you didn’t, her lips brushed yours, soft and tentative. The kiss started slow, hesitant, like the first notes of a melody yet to find its rhythm.
But then it deepened, a quiet fervor building as her hands found your shirt, tangling in the fabric and pulling you closer. Your hands instinctively rested on her hips, grounding yourself in the warmth of her presence. The candle flickered wildly, like its flame was threatening to extinguish under the intensity of the moment, but neither of you paid it any mind.
When you finally pulled back, the world felt different, quieter, as if the house itself was holding its breath. Luna’s gaze held yours, her cheeks flushed but her expression calm, steady.
“Was that alright?” She asked, her voice barely audible in the stillness.
You nodded, your heart pounding as you offered her a small, shy smile. “Yeah,” You murmured, your voice thick with something you couldn’t quite name. “It was more than alright.”
Luna’s smile widened, and for a moment, the weight of everything else fell away. In that kitchen, under the flicker of candlelight, it was just the two of you, wrapped in a moment that felt like it had been waiting for you all along.
The memory lingered like a soft melody, playing on repeat in your mind. Luna’s serene gaze, her touch, the flicker of candlelight that had seemed to mirror the spark between you- everything about it had felt right. Safe. But as you tried to focus on her eyes, your heart sank.
Like some cruel trick, the silvery blue of her irises shifted, darkening until they glowed an all-too-familiar shade of green. The serene warmth of Luna’s face dissolved, replaced by Harry’s steady, piercing gaze.
A shock ran through your body, sharp and unforgiving, jolting you out of the blissful memory like a bucket of ice water. Your chest tightened, the sudden dissonance between memory and reality leaving you breathless.
“No,” you muttered under your breath, shaking your head as though you could physically dislodge the image. “No, no, no.”
Your hands clenched into fists, and a frustrated growl tore from your throat. You grabbed the nearest pillow and hurled it across the room with all the force you could muster. The satisfying whomp of impact was immediately followed by a loud crash as the pillow toppled your bedside lamp, sending it to the floor in a spray of shattered glass.
The sound made you wince, your frustration replaced by a pang of guilt. You sat up, running a hand through your hair as you surveyed the mess on the floor. The dim light of the room cast eerie reflections off the broken shards, and for a moment, you felt as fragmented as the lamp lying before you.
“Oi! Everything alright up there?” Remus’s voice carried up the stairs, calm yet laced with concern.
You winced, glancing down at the shattered remains of the lamp, your heart sinking. “Uh… yeah!” You called back, scrambling for an excuse. “Just… taking out some aggression on a pillow!”
There was a pause before Remus replied, his voice tinged with amusement. “And did the pillow learn its lesson?”
You hesitated, looking at the broken lamp before sighing. “Uhm… it seems my lamp learned it for him!”
A loud bark of laughter echoed from downstairs, followed closely by Sirius’s booming voice. “Don’t touch it! I’m coming up!”
Your stomach twisted as the familiar sound of Sirius’s boots on the stairs grew louder. You quickly crouched by the broken lamp, trying to sweep the shards into a neat pile with your hands, only to nick your finger on one of the sharper edges.
“Bloody hell,” You hissed, sticking the wounded finger in your mouth as Sirius’s voice reached the landing outside your door.
“Oi, trouble,” He called, knocking once before pushing the door open without waiting for an answer. He took one look at the broken lamp, the glass scattered across the floor, and your sheepish expression before crossing his arms and leaning casually against the doorframe.
“What happened?” He prodded, though his tone was more curious than accusatory.
You stood, brushing your hands on your trousers and avoiding his gaze. “The pillow was out of line, so I threw it,” You admitted, gesturing toward the offending pillow lying innocently on the floor. “Didn’t realize it had a vendetta against my lamp- unfortunately he took her down with him.”
Sirius’s lips twitched as he tried to hold back a grin. “Sounds like the lamp got the short end of the stick,” He mused, stepping further into the room to inspect the damage. “What’s really going on?”
You hesitated, unsure how much you wanted to share. Sirius had a knack for prying the truth out of you, but sometimes you weren’t ready to give it up.
“Just… had a lot on my mind,” Your voice muttered quietly. “Needed to let it out.”
Sirius tilted his head, studying you for a moment. Then, without a word, he pulled his wand from his back pocket and pointed it at the shattered lamp. “Reparo!”
The broken shards flew back together with a soft clink, reforming into the lamp as if nothing had happened. Sirius smirked, giving the now-intact lamp a light tap with his wand for good measure.
You stared at it, your cheeks heating with embarrassment. “Of course,” you muttered, rubbing the back of your neck. “Why didn’t I think of that?”
Sirius grinned, tucking his wand away. “Because you’re dramatic, Cherry Bomb. Always have to make a scene.” He leaned back against the doorframe, crossing his arms with a knowing look. “What’s the fun in fixing things when you can wallow in the chaos a little longer, eh?”
You rolled your eyes, though you couldn’t help the small smile tugging at your lips. “Alright, alright. You’ve had your moment. Don’t let it go to your head.”
“Too late, just lets me know you still need me.” Sirius replied, flashing a cocky grin. Then his expression softened, his gaze flickering to you with something closer to concern. “But seriously, kid, you good?”
You hesitated, the weight of his question pressing down on you. Sirius might joke around, but his ability to see through you had always been unnerving.
“I’m fine,” you finally said, though it sounded unconvincing even to your own ears. You tried to smile, hoping it would sell the lie. “Just a long day, you know?”
Sirius didn’t look convinced, but he let it go- for now. “Alright, if you say so. But if you ever need to talk… well, you know where I am.”
You nodded, feeling a flicker of gratitude for his understanding. “Thanks, Dad.”
Sirius smirked at the title, ruffling your hair as he passed by you toward the door. “Get some rest, pup. And maybe lay off the pillow abuse next time, yeah?”
“Only if it's learned its lesson.”
He gave you a playful glare. You laughed softly as he left, shutting the door behind him. The room fell silent once more, save for the faint hum of the house around you. You sat on the edge of your bed, staring at the repaired lamp and letting out a long, steadying breath.
"Dramatic," you muttered to yourself, shaking your head. But the small smile faltered, slipping away as something cold and heavy began to settle in your chest. A creeping dread gnawed at the edges of your mind, setting your breaths into an unsteady rhythm.
Dramatic.
You could almost hear Sirius’s teasing tone, James’s bark of laughter. The word echoed, sharp and cutting in the stillness of the room.
“They’re just joking.”
“Don’t take it to heart.”
“They don’t mean it.”
You’d told yourself these things countless times before. But their voices played on a loop in your head, louder and louder, until you could hardly think of anything else.
“If you get married, we’ll finally be a big pack!”
“You two would be perfect together!”
“You’d work so well- balance each other out!”
James and Sirius’s teasing words replayed with such vivid clarity, the echo of their laughter twisting in your chest like a knife. Even Lily’s and Remus’s softer reassurances slipped in, well-meaning but hollow now, reminders that they’d never taken it as seriously as you did.
Because all jokes have a bit of truth to them, don’t they? That dark, nagging voice in the back of your mind whispered its usual poison. What if they mean every word? What if they’ve always meant it?
The years of good-natured teasing, the remarks, the suggestions- they stretched out in your memory, suddenly too heavy to ignore. And for the first time, you wondered if that was all you were to them. If you were just a puzzle piece waiting to fit into their perfect picture.
The thought made you feel small, insignificant. Like your only worth to them was tied to something you didn’t even want. It wasn’t a new fear- not really- but it had always been something you could push aside. Something you could shake off with a roll of your eyes and a forced laugh.
But not today.
Today, it was eating you alive.
The weeks that followed were quiet. Too quiet. The lively energy you usually brought to Grimmauld Place seemed to dim, like a fire struggling to stay lit. The teasing banter that once felt like second nature now felt heavy, stifling. You found yourself retreating into your room more often, your appetite waning as the days blurred together.
At first, they didn’t notice- not fully. James and Sirius chalked it up to stress, maybe a rough patch. “She’ll bounce back,” Sirius had said confidently, leaning back in his chair like it was a guarantee.
But then you started skipping meals. Not just breakfast, but dinner too. You’d pick at your plate, offering vague excuses before excusing yourself early. The chatter at the table would falter each time you slipped away, the tension thickening like storm clouds.
You avoided Harry most of all. The warm sibling bond you’d always shared felt unbearable now, every interaction laced with an invisible wall you couldn’t bring yourself to break. He’d tried to confront you once, standing awkwardly in the doorway to your room.
“Hey,” he had said, his voice uncertain but soft. “You’ve been… quiet lately. Everything alright?”
You had plastered on a smile, too tight to be convincing. “I’m fine, Harry. Just tired.”
He’d hesitated, his hand gripping the doorframe like he wasn’t sure whether to stay or leave. “You can talk to me, you know. About anything.”
The lump in your throat had felt insurmountable, and you’d turned away under the guise of searching for something on your desk. “I know. Thanks.”
He hadn’t pushed further, but you’d felt his lingering gaze before he left, the door clicking softly behind him.
Sirius, of course, noticed the cracks in your armor. He’d tried to coax you back to your usual self with his over-the-top antics, but your forced chuckles only seemed to worry him more. Remus had asked if you were feeling ill, his sharp eyes scanning your face with parental concern, but you waved him off with a quiet reassurance that everything was fine.
The sun had long since dipped below the horizon, casting Grimmauld Place in a muted twilight. The kitchen was quiet, save for the gentle hum of the radio in the background and the occasional clatter of dishes as Lily cleaned up after dinner. You sat at the table, idly tracing patterns on the wood with your fingernail, your untouched tea growing cold in front of you.
“Alright, love,” Lily said softly, breaking the silence. She pulled out a chair and sat across from you, her eyes kind but steady. “I’m not one to pry, but something’s been eating at you for weeks, and we’re all worried.”
You froze, your fingers stilling on the table. “I’m fine,” you muttered, the words automatic, rehearsed.
Lily tilted her head, her fiery hair catching the faint light. “You’re not fine. And that’s okay. But shutting us out isn’t going to help.”
You swallowed hard, the lump in your throat making it difficult to speak. “It’s nothing. Really.”
“It’s not nothing,” Lily pressed gently. “You’ve been pulling away from everyone-especially Harry. You barely eat, you hardly talk, and you don’t even sass Walburga anymore. That’s not like you.”
The mention of Harry made your chest tighten. You clenched your jaw, your hands curling into fists on the table. “It’s nothing he did,” you said quickly, the words tumbling out before you could stop them.
Lily’s brows lifted slightly, her gaze sharpening. “Then what is it?”
You hesitated, the storm of emotions that had been building for weeks threatening to spill over. The kitchen felt too small, too stifling, and Lily’s unwavering gaze made it impossible to retreat.
“I just…” You started, your voice trembling. You shook your head, your frustration bubbling to the surface. “I’m tired of the jokes. The teasing. All of it.”
Lily frowned, leaning forward slightly. “What jokes?”
“The ones about me and Harry,” you snapped, your voice louder than you intended. “About how we’re perfect for each other. About how it’s destiny. It’s like that’s all anyone sees when they look at us.”
Lily’s expression softened, but she didn’t interrupt. She waited, giving you the space to continue.
“I’m not…” You took a deep breath, the words sticking in your throat. “I’m not in love with him. I never have been. And I never will be.”
Your voice broke on the last word, and you buried your face in your hands, your shoulders trembling. Lily reached under the table, her hand resting gently on your knee. “It’s alright, love,” she said softly. “Keep going.”
“I hate it,” you admitted, your voice muffled. “I hate how they act like it’s inevitable. Like my only purpose is to… to marry Harry and make everyone happy.”
Lily’s hand squeezed your knee, her touch grounding you. “No one expects that from you,” she said gently. “Not really.”
“They do,” you insisted, lifting your head to meet her gaze. Tears blurred your vision, but you didn’t care. “Even if they don’t say it outright, they mean it. And I’m just supposed to go along with it because it’s what they want.”
“Do you want to date Harry?” Lily asked, her voice careful, measured.
You shook your head vehemently, the words spilling out before you could stop them. “No. I don’t. I’ve never wanted that. I don’t… I’m not even attracted to men.”
The confession hung heavy in the air, the weight of it both terrifying and freeing. Lily’s eyes widened briefly, but she quickly masked her surprise with a soft, understanding smile.
“That’s what’s been eating at you,” she said quietly, more to herself than to you. “You’ve been carrying this alone.”
You nodded, your throat tight. “I just… I didn’t know how to say it. And I didn’t think anyone would take me seriously.”
“I take you seriously,” Lily said firmly, her hand never leaving yours. “And I’m so proud of you for telling me.”
Before you could respond, the sound of footsteps echoed in the hallway. The door creaked open, and you looked up to see James, Sirius, and Remus standing there, their expressions a mixture of concern and uncertainty.
Lily turned her head toward them, her gaze sharp. “Don’t you dare say a word.”
“We weren’t eavesdropping,” James said quickly, raising his hands in surrender. “We just… heard voices.”
You flushed, your chest tightening as their presence threatened to overwhelm you. But Lily’s hand squeezed your knee again, her steady presence grounding you.
“It’s alright,” She murmured, her voice low. “If you’re ready.”
You hesitated, your gaze flickering between the three men. James looked as though he was holding his breath, Sirius’s expression was unreadable, and Remus’s eyes were filled with quiet understanding.
Finally, you exhaled, your shoulders relaxing slightly. “I’m not in love with Harry,” you said, your voice steadier now. “And I’m not interested in men. At all. And I- hate that you guys assume. Assume I-” Your voice cracked and there was a long moment of silence.
Sirius moved first, his usual bravado stripped away as he slowly approached you. His grey eyes were soft, filled with something that looked painfully close to regret. He crouched down beside your chair, resting one hand on the table and the other gently on your arm.
"Kid," he started, his voice quieter than you’d ever heard it. "I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to... I didn’t realize we were pushing you like this."
You bit your lip, trying to hold back the tears that threatened to spill over. Sirius squeezed your arm lightly, his expression heartbreakingly tender.
"You’re my little girl," he said, his voice thick with emotion. "The last thing I’d ever want is to make you feel like you’re anything less than exactly who you’re supposed to be. And if we made you feel that way... I’ll never forgive myself."
That did it. The tears you’d been holding back slipped free, and you let out a shaky breath. Sirius reached up to gently wipe one away, his touch careful and loving. "You don’t owe anyone an explanation. You don’t have to be what anyone expects, not even us."
Behind him, Remus was watching with a guarded expression, his gaze flickering between you and James. The latter stood frozen in the doorway, his face pale and his hands trembling at his sides. He looked like he’d been punched in the gut.
"I..." James started, his voice cracking slightly. He swallowed hard, his hazel eyes glistening as he took a shaky step forward. "I didn’t know. I didn’t- Merlin, I’m so sorry."
You looked up at him, your tears blurring his figure. His voice broke again as he continued, his words tumbling out in a rush. "I thought we were just joking around, just... having a laugh. I didn’t realize we were hurting you. I would never-" He cut himself off, running a hand through his already-messy hair. "I never wanted you hurting."
Sirius’s hand remained steady on your arm as he glanced back at James, his expression unreadable. But the slight twitch of his jaw and the flicker of his gaze told you he was holding back words of his own.
Remus finally stepped in, his calm, measured tone breaking the tension. "It’s not about what any of us wanted," he said softly, addressing James but keeping his focus on you. "It’s about what she needed- and didn’t get- from the people who were supposed to protect her."
James visibly flinched, his shoulders slumping as he looked at you again. "I’m sorry," he whispered, his voice breaking. "For every stupid joke, for every time I didn’t think- just, all of it. I’m so, so sorry."
For the first time in weeks, you felt the weight in your chest lighten, just a little. You nodded slowly, your voice barely above a whisper. "I just want to be seen for who I am. Not... not who you all want me to be."
James nodded, his eyes glassy but determined. "You’re right. And from now on, we’ll do better. I’ll do better."
Sirius tightened his grip on your arm briefly before letting go, his hand coming up to cup your face. "We’ll figure this out, pup. You’ve got us. Always."
"And for what it’s worth," Remus added, his soft smile offering a flicker of comfort, "we’re proud of you. For being honest, even when it’s hard."
Before silence could over take the room; Harry entered the kitchen with his usual messy hair and an expression of mild concern, but the moment he saw your tear-streaked face, his demeanor changed entirely. His eyes darted between you, Sirius, and James, his body tensing like he was ready to jump to your defense.
“What’s going on?” He asked, his voice sharp with alarm. He pointed an accusatory finger at James. “Dad, what did you say? Did you-”
“Harry,” You interrupted quickly, your voice wavering but firm. You stood from your chair and took a step toward him, guilt tugging at your chest. “It’s not him. It’s not anyone’s fault. I just… I should’ve talked to you sooner.”
Harry blinked, his brow furrowing as he looked down at you. “Talked to me about what? Are you okay?”
You took a deep breath, your heart pounding as you forced yourself to meet his gaze. “I’ve been ignoring you, and that wasn’t fair. I’m sorry, Harry.”
He shook his head, his concern not easing. “Don’t worry about that. I just want to know what’s wrong.”
The words caught in your throat for a moment, but then you found the courage to say them. “I like girls.”
Harry stared at you for a second, his expression unreadable. “Yeah,” he said slowly, his tone filled with cautious confusion, “Me too.”
For a brief, horrifying moment, you thought you’d miscalculated everything. But then he raised an eyebrow, smirking as he added, “You kinda snogged my girlfriend, though.”
You blinked, startled by the unexpected quip. Then the absurdity of it hit you, and a laugh bubbled out of your chest, light and free. Harry grinned at your reaction, pulling you into a tight hug. His arms wrapped around you like a protective barrier, and for the first time in weeks, you had your best friend back.
“I was so worried,” He mumbled into your shoulder, his voice softer now. “You’ve been so distant, and I didn’t know what I did.”
“You didn’t do anything,” You assured him, your voice thick with emotion. “It’s just been… a lot. But I’m okay now. Or I will be.”
Harry pulled back just enough to look at you, his green eyes searching yours. “You could’ve told me, I’m always on your side, you know that, right?”
You nodded, tears pricking your eyes again, but this time they were accompanied by a warm smile. “I know. Thanks, Harry.”
He ruffled your hair affectionately, his grin mischievous now. “And, for the record, you owe me for Ginny. That was cheeky.”
“I’ll buy her flowers,” Your smirked with a chuckle, feeling lighter than you had in weeks.
“I said you owe me. Stop trying to take her from me.” He chuckled, shoving you softly.
The room, once so heavy with tension, now felt warm again. Sirius, James, and Remus watched from the sidelines, their expressions a mixture of relief and quiet pride. Harry kept his arm around your shoulders as he turned to his dad and the others.
“Well,” he said brightly, “looks like we’re all good here. Is the kitchen open again? I feel like I'm owed desert- you made my cousin cry.”
The group erupted into laughter, and for the first time in a long time, you felt like you could laugh with them- truly laugh, without the weight of expectation holding you down.

Luna Lovegood x Fem!reader
Warnings: Smut, cunnilingus, fingering, orgasm, aftercare, oral sex reader receiving, fluff
Eucalyptus. That was the scent that always stuck with you when you showered because of the intense amount that Luna had in your bathroom, and you'd come to associate her with it, even when she wasn't there... It was nice, other than making your mind wander to when she was there, to the feelings of her fingers, her tongue, her lips-.
"Love?" Ah! She was home.
Fuck yes.
"In here." You called, turning off the shower as you cleared your throat, trying to push the thoughts down as Luna pulled the door open.
"You showered without me?" Luna sounded almost betrayed, and you chuckled, not opening the shower curtain yet, not even bothering to grab your towel.
"Sorry, did you want to join me?" She paused, really thinking that over. That was something that you liked with Luna; she seemed to be deliberate in everything that she did.
"Well, I quite like it... But we do get distracted, which defeats the whole purpose of our shower." She said, and you chuckled, shaking your head as you restacked everything you used in the shower, wanting to keep the space as neat as possible.
"Baby, that can be the purpose of the shower." you reminded her, rubbing the towel through your hair with a sigh... It felt good to be clean.
"Right... But you wanted to get clean, right?" She asked innocently, and you nodded. This time, yeah.
"Mhm." You crawled out of the shower, feeling her presence behind you.
"Then it's good I didn't join." That made your cunt throb. "Mmmm." She licked lightly over your skin, making you shiver.
Fuck.
"What're you doing, Lovegood?" You felt her teeth dig lightly into your shoulder, pulling a gasp from you. "Ah." You'd let her bite you, you'd let her consume you if that was what she wanted.
"Did you know that your skin is sweet?" Luna asked, and you chuckled, leaning back into her as you cupped her cheek softly, feeling her fingers explore your skin, still damp from your shower... Part of you worried that you felt too rough, sometimes she commented on how your skin felt different right out of the shower, but she didn't seem to mind right now.
"I mean, I've never tasted my skin, so I can't say that I've really thought about that... What does it taste like?" You asked, and Luna tucked her face against your neck, inhaling again.
"I don't know... You... But you if you were a sweet." You furrowed your brows, chuckling as you shook your head... Luna had such an interesting way about her.
"Careful there, you're making it sound like you wanna eat me." She paused, her hands pressing softly on your waist to turn you around, easing you against the wall... You were realizing just how much you hadn't dried off now, how much her clothing was probably damp
"Not in a cannibalistic way, no... But I do want to go down on you." Your eyes widened as you felt her lick across your collarbone, moaning at the taste of your skin. "So... In a way, I do want to eat you right now." Oh my god.
"I..." You had no idea how to respond to that other than saying hell fucking yes, but Luna read you too quickly in her own way.
"Sorry, is that not something you want right now? We can lay down and I'll hold you, we don't have to-." You pulled her into a messy, frantic kiss, careful to hold her face the way that she liked before you let go, gesturing for her to get down.
"Get on your knees, Lovegood." Luna's cheeks pinkened as her lips gaped open, clearly shocked by what you'd said... You sometimes struggled to talk like that to her, even though she'd asked that you do sometimes... You just didn't wanna make her uncomfortable.
"Oh." She immediately followed your directions, and then you paused, grabbing her arm... There was something she'd said last time...
"Wait. Do you still get that weird feeling when you're kneeling like last time? You said it felt like your bones were moving wrong, like..." You trailed off, unsure of exactly what she'd said, but Luna caught on quickly, nodding.
"Nargles in my skin. Yes, I think I do." She said, and you pushed off the wall quickly - the last thing you wanted was for Luna to have any discomfort during this, and that had caused her a lot of discomfort last time and had really taken away from it.
"I'll be right back." She trailed her hand on your body as you walked off, only letting it drop once you were out of range of her touch, like the idea of her fingers leaving your skin was tragic. You smiled to yourself, shaking your head as you grabbed a pillow from your bed, walking back in with it triumphantly. "This'll help." You said, crouching down so that Luna could readjust herself on the pillow. She leaned forward, kissing your cheek softly in a way that made you blush.
How funny was that? She was about to go down on you, but her kissing your cheek made you blush like a schoolgirl... Small things, always small things.
"Thank you." Her beaming smile as you sat up was enough to make your knees feel like they had turned to jelly. "Now nothing can take my focus off of you." She said, sounding so determined that you really did believe her, but there was one thing that you wanted to make clear.
If she saw anything, she did have to say something.
"I mean, if there's a Nargle near me, I expect you tell me so that we can move... I don't want any peeping Toms."
"Currently... They are nowhere near you. I promise." She said, and you smiled down at her, brushing her hair out of her face as you let out a content sigh... You couldn't see them, obviously you couldn't, but you knew that Luna could, which sometimes?
Not what you wanted to have around you... You liked the private moments with her to be private like this. It was nice to get away from it all, even away from the unseen creatures.
"Good, because that would be-." Luna leaned in, licking a stripe up your cunt, pulling a gasp from you as you tried to not let your legs close around her head. "Awkward, fucking hell..." You whimpered, seeing Luna's smile when she pulled back.
Oh, you did that on purpose.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you... I just... You taste so good, I got distracted by my urge, you can keep talking if you'd like-." You let out a breathless chuckle, grinning down at her.
She was so sweet with you, fuck.
"Luna, I think you know what I'd like right now, go with your gut, baby." You murmured, and Luna frowned, shaking her head.
Why not?
"The gut isn't always the most reliable..." That didn't matter... The gut was right with you.
"But with me it is, we're in love, your gut can be trusted." You promised, pushing her hair out of her face as she sat there for a moment, looking at you with such vulnerability that it made you feel breathless.
"Promise?" She asked, and you nodded... She didn't need to ask, but you understood why she did. She was used to people messing with her, even if she didn't acknowledge it as that there had to be something in there that had absorbed that.
"Promise." She leaned in, her tongue tracing over you again.
Fuck me.
"Mmmm..." Your eyes rolled back as you felt her hum around your clit, a move that never failed to make your head spin... You weren't sure how you were staying upright, but God, you were gonna do you best.
"Luna... Oh, fuck..." You breathed, fighting the urge to just push her down and ride her face... you knew she liked it like this, that she liked you like this.
"You taste amazing, love... Always." Luna mumbled, spreading your folds with her fingers before she buried her face in you, like she wanted to consume you whole. You gasped, clamping a hand over your mouth as one found her hair, your world feeling tilted when her tongue found your clit.
Merlin, she always felt so good.
"Oh... Fuckfuckfuck... Yes..." You whined, grinding against her face even as you tried not to, her arms looping around your thighs to pull you closer, making you nearly lose balance.
Careful there, baby.
"Merlin, you're so fucking good." Luna was the best you'd ever had, and she just kept getting better. "So good." You whined, hanging your head back as two fingers slid deep inside you, making your mouth drop open as she curled them.
Oh fuck me... Fuck me, please...
"Luna..." Your voice was hardly above a whisper, but that was all that Luna needed to hear to know exactly what was going on, to know that you were frantically nearing the edge... You always finished fast with her.
"Are you close?" Luna asked, and you nodded frantically, biting on the back of your hand to keep from collapsing as she continued to toy with your clit, two fingers buried deep inside you.
"Mhm! Almost... I'm almost there, don't stop." You whined, your voice sounding completely unlike you as Luna grinned up at you, sweet and gentle even as she worked quickly inside you, making your legs turn to jelly and your mind melt.
"Perfect." She murmured, sucking your clit back into her mouth as you let out a high whine, scratching down the walls as you felt the heat in your stomach snap and you fell over the edge.
"Cumming, holy fucking shit... Luna!" You gasped, riding your orgasm out before falling into your next one ridiculously quick, making your head spin as you pushed her face away, wincing when you felt her fingers leave you.
Damn.
"I really like how my name sounds leaving your lips." Luna said, pressing kisses up your body as you let your head thud against the wall, heart still thumping as you fought hard to catch your breath. It was crazy that she managed to stay so calm while giving you such pleasure.
"That's wonderful, baby..." You murmured, feeling Luna's arms around your waist, pulling you to slump against her.
"Here." She traced up and down your spine, making you sigh as you tucked into her. "You need to steady your breathing, let me hold you up." You smiled lazily, leaning over to press a kiss to the side of her head... You could rally if she wanted something.
You wanted to rally if she wanted something.
"Do you want-." You started, but Luna just held you closer, effectively cutting off your communication.
"Not right now." Oh. "I will want something later though, but right now, holding you is good." Oh... God, that made your heart feel warm as you sighed, letting yourself fully be held up by her.
"Mmm... Protecting me?" You asked, enjoying the way that she seemed to hold you tighter the second you said that, like you were some precious thing that she didn't want to let go of... That she couldn't let go of.
"Always."

Keep Me (In the Shadows)
Word Count: 5.4k
Pairing: Draco Malfoy x female reader
Warnings!: 18+, unprotected, impregnation
Synopsis: The walls of Hogwarts contain many secrets of their own, but on a late night, you and Draco Malfoy find yourselves uncovering one of your very own.
“Is it true,” Draco begins, voice ragged and rough around the edges, “that everything in this blasted castle resets at midnight?”
You watch the way the hem of his ebony robe propels on a soft wind over the dusty cobblestone tiles of the corridor. He remains a few strides ahead as he always does, walking quickly, yet aimlessly. He’d once told you it’d been his way of deflecting attention. If his eyes remained straight ahead, naturally he’d be unaware that you’re following his every move or anyone else for that matter.
So, you trail him inconspicuously, keeping your eyes glued to the empty corridor walls, the back of his robe, and his platinum hair with no real destination in your mind either. Your only goal is not getting caught alone with him this late in the night when students are forbidden to be outside of their dorms. If one were to stop you two, say a professor, you’d both lie and say you were returning to your respective areas. Draco’s speed walking would be believable enough.
“I’m sure there may be some logic behind that, but ultimately, I doubt it…”
“And you and Potter? Did that relationship reset at midnight? Better yet, what’s the logic behind that?”
Draco practically spits the words out in spite and you come to a sudden halt as they echo throughout the corridor. His words are far too large for a space so empty, for a space where perked, attentive ears may overhear or eavesdrop. In a corridor where lurking eyes may pry around corners in search of the next day’s gossip, you have to be careful. It’d happened before, not to you and Draco, but other students, and their secret escapades had been aired out to all who dared to listen over the next morning’s pumpkin juice. Yet, Draco cares more about this than the idea of being caught and the risk of detention. You can sense it in the way his shoulders and back stiffen with his walk.
Tossing your left arm over your right, you give the upper portion a soft squeeze while inhaling deeply through your nose. Dust tickles your nostrils and the faint smell of leftovers fill the air. You take in the toastiness of roasted chicken, the garlicky herbs that had been marinated into bite-sized potatoes, the sweet cinnamon sugar coating that had been dusted over pumpkin pasties and handcrafted pies, and the savory aroma of buttered rolls as they all congregate in a single whiff. With a sharp exhale through your mouth, you spew your thoughts.
“And who told you that? Your loyal gang of servants over this morning’s breakfast? Crabbe and Goyle? Zabini perhaps? Is that why you avoided me in Potions today?”
Draco stops mid-step and glances down at the obsidian leather crafting the wholecut Oxford shoes laced at his feet. His inhale is just as sharp as your exhale had been and he spins on the heel so quickly that the violent whip of his robe is enough to take your breath away, even several steps away. His eyes laser in on you and the space between your bodies suddenly feels smaller. Tighter. Suffocating.
His strides are few, long and confident, and you know he’ll land in front of you before you have a chance to finalize your true opening argument. With the click, clack, clicking of his expensive shoes bringing him closer, you whimper.
“It doesn’t matter who told me. I want to know if it’s true. Why they’re saying about you and Potter getting back together, dating again, and when you were planning to tell me. All these nights we’ve been sneaking about the castle together and you didn’t bother mentioning it,” he hisses the words in a rush and sneers at the thought of you with the oh so perfect chosen one while he’s left on the sidelines. “You didn’t tell me you were considering it, considering him again. You didn’t mention it on the observation deck of the Astronomy Tower, not in stacks of the Restricted Section, not in your dorm nor mine, and certainly not here, in this blasted corridor. Why not mention it a week ago when y—“
“Don’t finish that sentence, Draco,” you snarl.
His brows pinch at the challenge, but your eyes go wide in alert from the words you know were close to escaping his lips. Lewd and shameful they would have been had they reached the atmosphere. You glance up and down the seemingly void corridor with those same wild, worried eyes. You know how things can be twisted to snare even the brightest and most innocent of witches, but the words that clung to his tongue wouldn’t need to be twisted in order to ruin you both. Your quick search is fruitless and you let out a shaky sigh while rolling your shoulders back.
“I was going to tell you, Draco, that I was considering it… considering him, again.”
“When?” He demands. “Or were you going to wait until my tongue was halfway down your throat? Again.”
“Before, of course! Merlin… What kind of girl do you take me for, Draco?”
“You and I know exactly what kind of girl you are,” Draco retorts and studies you smugly.
His lips seal in a tight line and fire and ice blaze in the depths of his eyes before he spins once more and storms off in a blinding rage. You watch as he strides off prematurely, before hearing you out. He mutters something about how he knew things were too good to be true as he continues down the endless hall. You watch the way his hand clasps the nape of his neck under his long blonde hair and he keeps it there for a good while.
Once you gather your own thoughts, you hurry your strides in an attempt to mirror him, but you struggle to keep up with his head start and longer strides. The perks of being tall, you remind yourself. When you do catch up, he’s almost at the very end of the corridor, a dead end anyways, but you snatch him to a halt by the hood of his robe.
Draco falters and lets out a guttural groan when the sound of a ripping seam cuts through the silence air in response.
“You’ll pay for this, Y/ln!”
You feel prepared now. You’re ready to make your argument, to stand your ground, to explain yourself. You know that you have the right words sorted out and that with Draco cornered, he’ll have to listen.
Until he turns to face you.
His pink lips are pulled into a grimacing tight-lipped frown and an indented line appears down the center of his forehead where his thick brown brows are drawn together. His eyes shift over your features erratically before settling on yours, sharp like a double edged dagger ready to pierce. Two furious, impenetrable walls of frozen silver. Your body frosts over and you shrink where you stand. You struggle to meet his gaze and chew on the inside of your cheek as your mind goes blank.
You can’t think.
You can hardly breathe.
And when Draco opens his mouth, you wonder how you’re still alive when your heartbeat is racing so rapidly that your chest could easily explode.
“Tell me, Y/n,” he seethes.
A violent flame dances behind the walls of ice in his irises as his gaze flickers over the features of your face in frustration. Your lips are reddened and cracked from nibbling at them in nervousness and your nose appears swollen and puffed as if you’re attempting to hold back tears. Draco would usually swallow his pride seeing you in such a state, but he needs answers, so he settles on the wildness behind your dark eyes before continuing.
“Tell me,” he repeats. “When he fucks you, do you think of me?”
Your eyes dart towards his and your cheeks grow unbearably hot. You choke on the words as if you’re the one who dared spout them out. You’ve never experienced Draco this livid. You’d never heard his words become this vulgar, at least not with you, and that makes you all the more nervous. You’d convinced yourself that these nightly escapades meant nothing to him, that you were nothing more than a girl he could use or discard at his own will. He’s Draco Malfoy for heaven’s sake, and he could have any girl he pleased, that had come with the territory of having power and money at your disposal. You’d thought tonight would be the last night when you’d received his owl and that he’d be alright with that fact.
Clearly you’ve never been more wrong in your entire life.
You watch his tongue glide across the smooth plains of his natural pink lips and the fire blazing quietly in the torches overhead reflect a glistening orange on the thin coat of saliva left behind. You fixate on his features, from those shimmering lips up to the bridge of his nose. Your eyes roam up to the very roots of his platinum blonde hair before retracing your gaze and focusing on his eyes once more. They’ve softened a bit, not from the fire in the torches, but from the fire now kindling between you two.
He lets out a scoff as if he’s annoyed by you, as if you’ve been the pain in his arse all along. Before your brain can register the noise that escapes the base of his throat for a second time, he delves into you.
His lips are the first part of his body that comes into contact with yours. They’re warm against yours and so pillowy soft that you can’t bear pulling away. Instead, you bring your arms up to his collarbones and allow your index finger and thumb to mold into the curved base of his long neck. His artery pulse wildly underneath your grasp and your heart warms at the rhythmic expansion. You love the feeling, the palpitating of thick blood quickening through his body, underneath his skin, all livened by your touch.
Draco takes the final step to close your bodies together more comfortably and brings his arms around your waist to mold you into the perfect contours of his slender body.
“I can’t stop,” he mutters against your mouth and drops his lips into the crook of your neck. “I don’t want to stop, Y/n.”
He knows this will ruin you. It does every single time. With his lips against your neck and his words growing more desperate, lower and needier with each breath. You know exactly what he’s playing at. And yet, you allow your head to tilt back for more. More. More. And more. You’ll always need more of this, more of him. You rake a hand through the hairs lying against the nape of his neck. They’re course, yet silky in your gentle grasp and you close your eyes to the ceiling with a sweet smile as it drives him deeper into your flesh.
“Draco,” you purr.
He doesn’t bother responding with words. He only deepens the way he’s been working his lips against your flesh before allowing his burning tongue to trace a long column up the full length.
With this, you know exactly what is going to happen tonight and you take no desire in stopping it, not for Harry’s sake nor anyone else’s. In this very moment, it’s just you, Draco, and your desperate need for each other.
Need is a fickle thing and the need had begun long ago, long before your months of sneaking around to be together. It started when you were with Harry and Draco’s icy eyes would meet yours from across the room. Potions, the Great Hall, Herbology. Hell, even during their Quidditch practices. Somehow his eyes had always found yours in every room, and perhaps, some part buried deep inside of you liked it.
Every single glance had you feeling things Harry never made you feel during your three years of dating. It’s made you feel warm and dizzy as if you were going mad. Yet, nothing truly begun when you’d ended things with Harry. It’d been just before Christmas break. Harry planned to return home for its duration, so you had the comfort of knowing he’d be able to mend himself surrounded by those he loved, family and friends, while you stayed behind.
All your friends had called you mad when they discovered your frequent whereabouts—studying with Draco in the courtyards, his frequent smirks gifted across the dining tables during breakfast or dinner, his need to suddenly partner with you in Potions right after the break. You never truly expected them to understand the hungriness of your yearning for each other, that need for constant contact. Something in Draco’s presence had brought you back to a primal state of being, of craving and desire. Something feral melded in the deepest parts of your core and engraved itself in your very bones when his eyes met yours, but you couldn’t tell your friends that. So, instead of going behind Harry’s back, this is the alternative. This is freedom.
Draco takes a single step back and relishes the way you shiver when he releases a cool breath against the wet trail he’d left behind. He watches you slowly unravel from the ribbon of your high while shuffling out of his robe. Your eyes remain glassy and wide, glazed with lust as you work off his tie and snake it around your own neck before moving in to unbutton his shirt. The shiny black buttons are slick against your fingers as you round them out of each hole. One by one they expose a pinch more of his creamy white skin, so smooth and pale and familiar, and your mouth froths at the sight.
Draco manages to remove his belt from the buckle and unbutton his pressed trousers as you work at the buttons. By the time you’ve finished unhooking the last, his pants pool around his ankles with a soft thud. He backs you against an opening and hoists you up on the ledge of one of the many oversized lattice windows lining the corridor wall. Silver moonlight plays in the sharp grayish hues of his irises and you watch it as he focuses on you. He kneels to work your black stockings off and your stomach knots. He’s become quite the expert in doing this, managing to get the black fabric off and having your skirt and panties out of sight within seconds.
Draco smirks, a cocky smile that reflects his satisfaction after they plop onto the floor with a quiet thud. He drapes your legs over his forearms, hooking his arms underneath your knees, and stares into the void between your bodies. Your brows furrow as you study him. You swear you can sense worry creeping over his features. Perhaps the thought of you going behind Harry’s back has him rattled, or perhaps the idea of getting caught, even though you two never have before.
He relaxes his shoulders and lets out a sigh that would’ve gone unnoticed had you not been watching him. But the worry slips away just as quickly as it’d come, and in a few blinks of your eyes, the only evidence remaining is the gentle twinkle in his eyes when they finds yours again.
Murals of silvery grey fall upon you as the pressure between your thighs rings sharp. You need this just as much as he does. There are no games and the foreplay remains the small tiff you two just had as the aching pleasure of him slipping against you engulfs all your senses. You gasp in relief, eyes lowering at the feeling of his stiff sex gathering your sticky arousal. He teases your bottom lip with his tongue and grazes his chill breath over your warmth.
Draco watches you squirm uncomfortably on the stone ledge. He has to admit that this wasn’t the best place for sex and he hates the idea of your bare ass plastered on the dusty, frigid sandstone bricks, but he couldn’t help himself. He couldn’t wait until one of you found a more respectful place to relieve yourselves. He couldn’t be bothered either when he’d led you to the stacks of the Restricted Section for the first time months ago during Christmas break, nor when he’d taken you in his dorm knowing his friend’s would be asleep in the same room. The list goes on, and yet, he needs you just the same now. He would’ve taken you in the Great Hall if he had to, would have risked everything to have lain you out like his own personal spread to devour whole. That’s how crazy you drive him, that’s how mad you make him feel, and he can’t wait another second. Not even when the idea of betraying Potter in such a way lurks heavily in the back of his mind, even after the whispers, the rumors of you two being back together. It’s the ultimate betrayal, but he cannot stop himself. He has no control over this.
Your mouth parts to let out a moan. As it does, Draco places his palm firmly over it, covering those beautiful lips and muting the sound before slithering between your decadent folds. His teeth sink into his bottom lip to rein in his own pleasure. You feel like a tight hug and he almost loses himself in the feeling. So warm, so comforting, so cruelly wet. Aside from the last fact, he’s sure this is what heaven feels like, what home should feel like, and he knows he can’t let this go. He can’t let this feeling of belonging be stripped away if he finally gets a say in it.
Your head rolls back with the first snap of his hips and you mewl softly. It’s only been two days and you’d magically forgotten how delicious and blissful the first taste of his cock is. You’d forgotten the pleasure in feeling his heat and hardness running deep along your walls and pulling your orgasm closer with each motion. He thrusts in again and your back arches. You watch your breaths fog against the exposed glass panes, weaving their own intricate patterns between ebony lattice, and it takes you back to the first time Draco had claimed your innocence.
On Christmas morning, after breakfast, you’d sent your owl from your dorm window with a letter that contained only two lines:
Restricted Section tonight.
Don’t be late, Malfoy.
Since that magical night in the stacks, you’ve never loved anything more. Every week for a month, you’d sought him out. It’d been pathetic, but you were unable to liberate yourself from the yearning of taking him again. Your need wouldn’t subside, even after you’d taken him. He’d turned you into this feral, insane being, and you found yourself chasing that body to body connection and the slow build up of your pleasure around his length endlessly.
Draco’s pants fill your ears with the sweetest melody as he plows into you, leaving no more room for nostalgia. With each violent rut of his hips, neither of you have the time to recover from the ecstasy prickling in your veins. The heat pooling in your core keeps your mind centered and your gaze focused on him.
“Draco...”
You watch him through heavy, lidded eyes, and your teeth sink into your bottom lip in a teasing grin as you watch his hips burst forward. The rhythmic sound of your skin colliding and his low howling heightens your senses. Suddenly, you’re keenly aware of the little ache unraveling like a ribbon in the pit of your belly, but also the bareness of his chest begging to be touched.
You glide your fingertips up the plain of his stomach, taking in the darkened hairs forming around the edges of his navel. You follow the faint trail up to his lanky chest, taking in the slight bit of muscle around his pecks before continuing up and over his shoulders. You curl yourself around him and trace circles over the bone when he falters closer. Beads of sweat form over the span on his forehead and you watch the way it collects like glistening raindrops against his scalp before trickling down streaks of his swaying platinum hair. You fight every instinct in order to spare him of the sensation of your fingers running throughout his hair and massaging into his scalp. He’d shutter in pleasure if you were to so, and right now, he doesn’t deserve the satisfaction.
Draco’s fingernails burrow into the flesh of your hips and you howl at the feeling, abandoning all prior thoughts. He thrusts forward. Harder. Deeper… Once. Twice. A third time for good measure. Then, again and again while a series of moans pour from your parted mouth.
“Tell me you won’t miss how good I make you feel?” He murmurs. “Isn’t that why you’re here tonight? Because poor little Potter cannot be bothered with pleasing his own woman? He should be treating you like the chosen one. Doesn’t he know you are?”
You bite into your lip again, but this time it’s to keep your mouth shut. You know there’s no use in telling him the truth, that Harry hadn’t as much as lain a finger on you in this way. Not once in all the three years you’d been together. Though, you know he’s wanted to. Draco is the only one that’s ever had you this way, completely defiled you, talked you down, brought you to your lowest and highest all at once.
Your eyes roll again as Draco steadies out his rhythm to catch his breath.
Surely the portraits will spread word in the morning of how they heard students moaning and followed the sound after seeing you and Draco disappear down an unlined corridor moments before. You’ll have to talk to Harry and admit it. That’s one thing you’re certain of. If you don’t, they’ll call you scandalous and Draco would get it worse. Dumbledore may even have to expel you faster than Professor Snape can chastise Malfoy for his lewd, unacceptable actions, in which his father, Lucius, will truly not want to hear about.
“Shit…” he hisses. His eyes snap shut and his lips tremor with his ragged pants. His nose crinkles and the movement of his hips grow erratic once again. With his grip tightening on your flesh, he lets out a low groan. “I’ve almost forgotten how good you feel. I might blow my load inside of you… teach you a lesson.”
“You will not,” you protest, straight faced and using all your strength to not react to the pleasure radiating throughout your body. “Draco, we can’t.”
“Or what? You’ll curse me?”
“Don’t tempt me.”
Draco sneers and leans down until his face is hovering above yours. He allows your ankles to rest against his shoulders, knees parallel to the ceiling. He watches the way you fight every instinct of pleasure, how you keep your eyes on his instead of allowing them to sink back, how you hold his triceps when you want nothing more than to have your hands grasping your aching breasts or to have them wrapped tightly around the base of his throat. He chuckles at the fact that you wish to moan, but your duty to privacy holds steady, keeps you quiet and whimpering instead of letting loose. And he watches in amusement as you slowly unravel with every swift and sharp stroke of his hips. As he does, he begins to realize just how much he actually cares about you.
“Tell him you’re mine,” Draco demands. “Tell me and tonight you’ll tell him so I can spend all day showing you how well I treat my personal possessions.”
“Oh yeah?” You tease. “Is that right, Draco?”
“You’ll find out soon enough.”
You let out a sharp giggle and rope him in closer by the back of his neck, so close that you can take in every breath exhaling from his lungs and pull them into your own. You watch the way the iciness in his eyes melts away and glaze over with something more warm and comforting. And your core ripples at the possibility of something more than lust looming between the both of you.
“Don’t tell me you’re this close already,” he complains, truly embarrassed for you by the look of annoyance in his eyes.
“Mmm… I think I am,” you whimper and grasp the lapels of his crinkled button up to yank him a breath closer. “Fill me up, Draco…”
He scoffs.
He is truly embarrassed for you, but you wish he could see himself panting, slicked with sweat, eyes soft, and looking so sexy whilst buried between your thighs. He’s the portrait of pathetic and you know you should make him beg.
“Beg,” you croak and yank him down until his lips are just above yours.
You throat stings, sore and scratchy from attempting to leave it shut as Draco plowed through your slick folds one thrust at a time.
“You’re insane,” he chuckles and glimpses down at your reddened lips.
“Only for you,” you whisper and swallow a moan as you caress the sharpness of his cheeks. “Make me yours, Draco.”
His lips tug into a sharp smile and he presses his lips against yours hard and hungrily. He’s tired of your games. Perhaps he realized that much sooner than tonight and the thought of losing you had become too unbearable for him.
“Fuck,” he huffs into the sticky air between the both of you before reclaiming your lips.
“Love your cock being buried inside of me, Draco.”
You finally moan against him. After all, you aren’t evil enough to keep edging yourself when you’re both this close. He pulls his mouth away, panting heavily as he plants his palms on either side of you and stiffens.
“Are you finished?”
You nod, knowing exactly what he means. It only confirms that he’s serious now, serious in showing you exactly how he takes care of what’s his.
He glances down at his hardened length, only the tip remains hidden inside of your depths, and the rest gleams in your sticky, sweet arousal. He wants to taste you, but more than anything, he wants to bury his load deep inside of you. He wants it so deep that it doesn’t dare to trickle out. He doesn’t care about the consequences this close to graduation; he only cares about you filled to the brim with a piece of him, no matter what it is.
He thrusts inside and watches the way you swallow him greedily. Then, repeats the action again and again in a rapid rock of his hips. He senses your falling apart—legs trembling against his body, eyes softening to a roll, your arousal warming to slick wetness, scorching hot with each plunge. He takes pride in his string of thrusts, delivering them in a steady rhythm. Though, he wishes to tear you apart, your freed moans keep him from doing so. They guide him and keep him steady like music in his ears.
He grasps your chin and pulls your lazy gaze back to him.
“Keep your eyes right here, darling,” he demands sternly. “I want to see the way they roll when you release.”
With clenched teeth, you attempt to snatch your chin back, but he keeps his grip firm and your maneuver hardly wavers as he picks up speed with a groan and chuckle.
“You thought I’d let you dominate me?” He teases, his chuckle cutting through your moans. “I almost had you convinced. But don’t forget, my love, I’m always in control. No one tells me what to do.”
You whimper as he presses a thumb into your mouth to pacify you before ripping through your depths. His thrusts grow quicker with each second and you have no time to recoup from the pleasure prickling through your veins and pulsating in every corner of your being like liquid fire. Just as your eyes begin to roll, Draco snatches your jaw, showing just how much in control he truly is.
“I wish Potter could see how well you take me,” he pants cockily. “Just imagine if he knew the way I fit inside of you. So perfectly, if I do say so myself. You should see the way your cunt grips around my cock. You should see how wet you are for me. I dare you.”
You hum against his thumb and the vibration ricochets through you in a deep wave as you dare to glimpse between your thighs. You catch sight of his cock, a pulsing red with a vein so thick that it looks as though it hurts, and your arousal coating the surface in a glistening sweetness. Draco watches with you and your head spins.
“It’s been two days since I’ve felt you tightening around me. I can’t wait to feel it again.”
You keep your lips clasped tightly around his thumb. Your mind can hardly think of a quip, let alone find any words to overpower him. You don’t want to. You focus on the way his cock feels slipping in and out of your depths at different lengths, growing unsteady with each sway of his hips. You focus on his silver eyes staring into yours and his mocking grin as you finally come to terms with the fact that you are his. You’ve always been his. He’s just known it much longer than you have.
A bead of sweat drips from the tip of his swapping bangs and plops against your bare stomach. Draco chuckles and slicks his damp hair back with one hand while using his thumb on the other to massage the moisture into your skin. He presses in with a bit more pressure in attempt to feel himself plunging in and out of you. He keeps his thumb pressed firmly against you and steadies himself until he feels the motion underneath it. In and out. In and out, bulging at the center of your tightening core.
“Perhaps one day you’ll write about how well you take me,” he purrs. “And we’ll fill our library with books on our lovemaking.”
“I’m sure such books already exist,” you gasp, recalling all the steamy muggle romances you’d read over the summer.
“Then you’ll read one to me one of these days. Share your findings?”
“I’d rather show you,” you whisper.
He smiles, almost faltering before regaining his composure and finding your hips again.
“Draco?”
“Mhm?”
“Tell me I’m your favorite,” you mutter and buck up against him.
He stops suddenly and his nails dig deep into your pillowy flesh. You feel his cock twitch deep inside of you and you smirk when his eyes land on yours again.
“Being sneaky are we?” He muses and rams into you.
His palm finds your mouth again just before a bloodcurdling moan slips out.
He does it again with a teasing smile.
Then again.
And again.
And again until you’re whimpering and trembling around him. You reach for his forearm, but he denies it and presses into you harder.
Your eyes roll and you grasp the ledge underneath yourself, but it’s too hard. You go for his wrist, the same one allowing his hand to keep you almost silenced. You shiver around him and your thighs go limp against his thrusts. It’s not long after that his pants turn into a sharp hiss and a new heat overwhelms you.
Draco falters on top of you and stares straight into your eyes as he fills you up to the brim with his warm seed. You search his eyes for any form of deceit, but you find none. There never has been, not when it came to you and him.
His hand slowly retreats and you let out a loud inhale, taking in the dusty air of the corridor before slinging your arms around his neck and rushing your lips against his. He tastes of tart apples, salty sweat, and the sticky strawberry taste of your lipgloss. You never knew you needed to taste such a combination, but if it came from him, you’d take it. You’d take it all.
“Y/n,” he mumbles.
“Yes, Draco?”
His eyes focus on yours as if the stars he’d once seen dancing around your face are slowly subsiding and the cloudiness of lust and desire fading.
“You truly are my favorite,” he breathes and runs a hand through your curls before peppering your lips with kisses. “And I plan to keep it that way.”
And somewhere deep in your gut, you have a feeling this won’t be the last time you hear those words, especially since you’d forgotten to confirm cc that it had only been a rumor going around the school, mere whispers. Someone had lied about you dating Harry again, but you don’t mind when the result of it brought Draco crawling back to you.

☆ I had to let you know that I got a crush on you..
draco malfoy has a crush on you…
Draco is extremely arrogant so initially he would try and impress you.
Bragging about his home and the lavish, expensive possessions his parents can afford him. It’s not charming at all, it’s actually quite annoying.
He’d have Crabbe and Goyle help him play it up more. They would sing his praises incessantly anytime they saw you. One time you even let them convince you to go see him at Quidditch practice.
It was a nightmare.
While attempting a very daring feat on his broomstick that involved a midair roll, he fell. Luckily Madam Hooch was supervising and was able to save the poor wizard. Seeing you giggling at his misfortune definitely hurt his pride.
Eventually Blaise snitched, even though by then you’d already pieced it all together.
You decided one day at the end of one of his long bragging sessions to finally tell him you knew.
“and Draco” you say haltingly, before walking off making him turn to face you. “The bragging isn’t going to win me over, I prefer gentleman”
After that something finally clicked for the moron. From then on he was as charming as could be. Taking you out on dates, calling you “princess” and surprisingly treating you like one.
You were actually starting to like him

A blessing or a curse? Sneak Peak
Notes: I've been taking forever to wrote this so I thought I'd give you a sneak peak anon! I hope you like it! I'm so sorry if Luna seems OOC or if flower descriptions are incorrect. I do hope you like what I've gotten so far and if you want me to change anything let me know! :)
Source
The hydrangea flower represents gratitude, honesty, and deep understanding.
