Being larger than the tallest mountains, goddesses generally don't interact with ponies on an individual basis. When they do, it is a terrifying honor; one that will alter the course of your life forever. Listen to the Sun speaking into your mind, and pray you are still the same pony when she is done.

I present to you Luna Mikey ! From my apocalyptic AU Butterfly Effect !

This has been a little side project that i have been wanting to draw for so long !!!

Whenever i would see others draw peepaw apocalyptic Mikey, they would usually associate his magic with butterflies, materializing them for Casey or just in general

I wanted to play with that concept and make my own ! So yeah ! Born from love and in 2hours with AJR Inertia blasting on loop, this sketch and now full blown mystic warrior was born !

I have a whole story i would love to make, i already have the ending fully ready in my head.

When I was making this design i didn’t initially think about a specific butterfly, but when I drew the dread tails and it made me think of the Luna moth ! So I got curious and did some research, and HOLY SHIT i have never been so happy with results in my life !

YOU CANNOT TELL ME THAT THIS DOESN’T JUST SCREAM MIKEY !! it’s so perfect ! It fits so perfectly ! I swear I’m not crazy !!! It’s just AH ! It JUST.MAKES.SENSE !

As the months passed by, you realized summers without Peter were the hardest. When you’d go to the arcade, you’d see him there, spending time with his daughter. You’d see his eyes scan over the room. You watched his dead, brown irises fall onto your face, your body, for a small, virtually microscopic second before darting away again.You were essentially watching him fade away. You don’t really recall the reason you two parted ways, it was all very hazy, but you definitely broke it off.

Currently, you were sprawled out in bed, your eyes scanning unobservantly over the seemingly-jumbled and made up words on the page. That was, until you heard music from outside your window. Puzzled, you stood up, wandering over to your window. There he was.

Peter stood on the grass below, the evening summer sunset shining down against his silhouette. He held a boombox on one shoulder, ‘Baby Come Back’ by Player blasting from the speakers. On the other shoulder, he held his daughter, Luna, who looked fed up with the situation, but it was clear she was holding back a few giggles from slipping through her lips.

Peter swayed his hips, lip-syncing along dramatically with the song. As the song ended, Peter set down Luna and the boombox, pulling out a piece of notebook paper. You cock your head with an intrigued expression, watching as his eyes scan quickly over the paper. He crumples up the paper, throwing it behind him.

“Look, I want ‘ya back, okay?! C’mon! I dunno why ‘ya broke it off in the first place, but ‘m sorry for whatever i did to ‘ya! I really miss laying in bed with ‘ya…” Peter called, hands cupped around his mouth so the sound would travel. You sigh softly, looking between him and Luna.

“Luna misses ‘ya, i miss ‘ya! A girl needs her step-mommy and i a guy needs his smokin’ hot babe!” He called desperately. You look down at him, your eyebrows furrowing in sympathy as you rest your chin in your hand.

“Fine!” You call, smirking as his eyes widen. You could practically sense the incredulity radiating off of him like a solar flare.

“ ‘Yer serious?!” He called back. You nod, watching him zip from the front lawn, up to your room. You felt him pick you up bridal style before zipping back out to the front lawn, all happening in under a minute.

“Peter!” You squeal, a smile plastered on your face as he continued to hold you bridal style, your legs draped over one of arms, his other arm supporting your back. Peter leans down, locking your lips with his, panting softly as he pecks celebratory kisses to your lips. Luna looks on with disgusting, her nose scrunching in distaste. “yuck..”
