Only Lovers Left Alive is one of my favorite films of all time. When I saw it initially, I watched it with a group of people who absolutely hated it. We went out to eat after watching it in the theater and I found myself defending it so intensely. They argued that there wasn't a plot and that nothing really happens in the movie.

They weren't necessarily wrong. It's a film that runs on exquisite vibes, not a well developed plot line. It's a slice of life vampire story about the meaning of true love through eternity. The cast is to die for and the cinematography and soundtrack are delicious. I have nothing but love for it and I can't imagine feeling any other way.
