The grading of Autistics also says that some of us can be successful, we are "almost normal" therefore we should be included and accepted. We are to be celebrated. Many times throughout the day, I feel like I have to jump. I get huge balls of energy trapped inside and the best way to let them out is to jump. I think since jumping is like a whole-body activity, I can get quick bursts out... When it is socially appropriate for an adult woman to just jump around, which means very few places actually. I don't want to suppress the feeling. It makes it stronger. I think it is similar to holding a spring: the more you force it down, when it does come up, it springs back faster and harder. When I can't move my body how it feels is necessary, I usually do other things but they are not as satisfying and I don't feel like that particular energy burst has been "completed". Well, I am sure there are other ways I haven't thought of to control/manange this feeling. Anybody else deal with that in a better way than me just waiting to get home and doing it? I know I need more exercise, which I will get in a week or so now that it's warm and soccer season starts back. .
