#fnaf eclipse #fnaf dca #dca fandom #crab art #traditional art #bright colours #fear factor au #fear factor eclipse #all i need is a pretty househusband to come home to #is that so much to ask?#my headcanon for this AU is that Eclipse just collects frilly aprons #every time y/n comes home he's wearing a different one #i'm both happy and frustrated with this one #happy - because i'm glad i finished it and it looks nice #also i feel accomplished since it's the most ambitious illustration i've done during this exercise to get out of artblock #but also frustrated with some small things #most of it is chalked up to me not planning things head of time #namely the door #that's why the perspective is off and the colours aren't great #for some reason my focus was on the handsome apron-clad robot instead of the door no idea why #also this illustration also taught me a lot about this new lineart style i've been using #it needs more careful planning if it's going to be used as part of a larger illustration #the gradients help suggest some lighting and shading #but if it's going to be used in an illustration with a background then it needs to adjust to the lighting of the background #my previous drawings had simple shapes as a background so it didn't matter as much #but here the open doorway suggests light coming from behind Eclipse #so there are dark parts of the lineart that should be lighter #all in all i need to do more planning #but besides that this was really fun #love how chunky his pants and sleeves came out

...I got a little lost in the weeds thinking about the time between Ming Yi's ascension and his death, and decided that this is my favourite possible scenario (think Lord Vetinari and Leonard de Quirm).

Is Ming Yi a prisoner? technically yes. Does he have any interest in leaving? not in the slightest, he is fed, gets given any of the tools or materials he wants, and gets work on his own projects without any interruptions except for the occasional conversation with He Xuan! it's like the ideal possible retirement after living a VERY busy mortal life!

i finally got around to watching the animated cartoon segment of the star wars holiday special (1978) and its ridiculous but also im obsessed

#star wars #boba fett #luke skywalker #c3po #cw animal abuse #just in case #but yeah only the cartoon. im not advising in any way for you to watch anything else from the christmas special. im not liable for that #i actually rly liked boba fett in this im not gonna lie. his voice acting is kinda good and hes a terrible person #sneaky backstabbing henchman in a v fun way. i love to see him #this was technically his first appearance other than the irl san anselmo parade promo thing #also even though a lot of the animation is super wonky and hilarious a lot of it is also genuinely really cool #i love the part where boba fett’s dino snatches the box luke is holding and its like. beautifully animated munching down the whole thing #the colors and a lot of the backgrounds are rly nice #i did not at all comprehend any of the plot the first time i was just staring like baby sensory video #idk its very silly but fun. i had no idea what was happening. 10/10

There are a few things...I think this happens with a lot of athletes, it's like, 'are you winning? are you losing?' It really kind of then dictates what you're wearing. You know, one time I brought over a fur coat, and he was like, 'not right now. Not right now.'

#loved this whole interview tbh #kyle's background is very interesting. i had no idea he came from the nfl network styling team and then kind of #transitioned from there helping athletes (joe being one of the first guys to work with him)#also love that he immediately was like 'i didn't style joe last night' aka not MY fault hahahaha #and then the fact that he wanted joe to wear a fur coat lmao. i would have loved to see that tbh!!#but joe being like...read the room we are losing i cannot wear a fur coat #which honestly when you think about it explains a lot of his lower key looks last year #they were losing and he wasn't feeling like going all out!#(perhaps we can all stop vilifying kyle over this now? and other things....but that's just my opinion!)#joe burrow #kyle smith
