Here's a seven sentence snippet from chapter 4 of The World's Fair Hotel. Both chapter 4 and 5 are practically finished, but I'll hold off on posting until next weekend. Because Lokius Reverse Bang here we goooo 😁

Chapter 4: In which Mobius is separated from the others, but thankfully has O.B and Casey to guide him over the TemPad. Through the dark. All alone, and injured.

He’d make sure Loki was okay, and they’d find Timely, kill Mudgett, and they’d talk. Every step hurt, every breath felt like a punch to the diaphragm, but the pain meant he was still alive. He’d take on all the pain in the world, one limping step at a time, as long as he found his way back to Loki.

��Left,” said O.B, and Mobius clenched his jaw, and turned in the direction of the flickering flame, only to come face to face with the whites of someone else’s flashing eyes, and the sharp glint of metal arcing down through the air.

“AAAAAARGH!”

O.B and Casey screamed at him as one over the commlink. “The other left! OTHER LEFT! RUN!”

Trigger Warning: Suicide

Oh no I thought of another Lokius fic idea...

What if after a while of Mobius trying to live without Loki he decides to attempt to kill himself to get Loki's attention to see if he'll intervene. Of course Loki is watching, begging him not to do it. But when Mobius doesn't stop he finally snaps, using his magic to intervene and save Mobius, and Mobius finally gets to confront Loki about leaving him.......

Whumptober Day 8: Enemy to caretaker

Yeah, but what if... what if Mobius gets hurt real bad at some point in the season and we get to see Loki taking care of him. Like... trying to wake him up, checking his wounds, carrying him to safety...

And what would that mean for the person that hurt him? You remember how Loki reacted when he saw Moby get pruned last season...

How do you think he would react to seeing Mobius with actual, physical wounds? Maybe close to death?

OTP or brOTP, you know Loki would go feral.

For all that Loki had seen of the multiverse he had held in his bare hands, on certain days the world still somehow felt much too large.

(Or; Even a Post-Tree reality does not come without its fair share of challenges and rough patches. This Loki knows well.

Luckily, he does not have to face them alone.)

✨Love Is Taking A Dagger For You✨

Lokius. Rated M. 5k. Missions gone wrong, whump, rated for violence, rescue, happy ending.

Things aren’t looking good. The two of them are deep in enemy territory hiding behind a dumpster in a narrow alleyway deep in a city on a backwater timeline surrounded on all fronts by Kang’s army. That’s bad enough, but the real problem is there’s no way to leave because their TemPad is on the blink. Loki glances back at Mobius punching in commands to try and make it work but all it’s doing is making more noise, potentially attracting attention.

“We need a place to lay low for a bit,” Loki hisses, peering out to check the alleyway and the main streets beyond. They can’t see any of those infernal emotionless robots, but they can hear the endless trudge of these machines marching through the city, pushing aside everything in their path.

“If I could only get into the operating system, I might be able to…”

“It’s broken,” Loki whispers. “There is no fixing it. At least, not here. We need another plan.”

“We have to try.”

“I know,” they say softer, catching Mobius’ eye. “But only after we’ve found somewhere secure. It’s best we keep this thing safe until we do.”

i can't stop thinking about what if Sylvie had stabbed Loki instead of kissing him

Spoilers for season 2 episode 1

Thinking about Loki running as best he can with a fresh wound.

The time slipping makes it even worse. It stretches it and looks like the ever-branching timeline

He's running around the past and present TVA, leaving a trail of blood wherever and whenever he goes.

By the time he finally does get to Mobius, there's blood all across his torso.

Mobius immediately running to him, taking off his jacket to try and stop the bleeding.

Loki holds on to Mobius as he's led out of the room, trying to express the urgency of He Who Remains and wondering why no one seems to care about it. Then he releases his grip from Mobius' arm and leaves a bloody handprint, thinking for half a moment that he's hurt him.

That's when he looks down and remembers he was stabbed.

Mobius leads him to an infirmary to patch him up.

"She stabbed me, and then she kicked me through a Time Door "

"Well, I would ask who won, but..."

"....it was a draw."

"....you both stabbed each other and kicked each other through Time Doors simultaneously?"

Just

Teaser Thursday! November 14

As promised, here is my post for Teaser Thursday, as I missed WiP Wednesday. Thanks for the tags @elodiah @kcscribbler 😊 Tagging anyone who wants to play, no pressure.

Chapter 4 is from Mobius' POV - in which he's separated from the rest of the group, injured, and something is messing with B-15's TemPad. Good thing he has O.B to guide him out of a dark, dangerous place.

“There,” he whispered to his tech support and finest friends in the whole world. “Okay. I can kind of walk. Grin and bear it, right?”

“The only way is through,” said O.B, and man, did Mobius feel that.

“Okay. So…” He gestured at the air in front of him, much like he’d done outside the hotel. Down the street, out there, in the stinking morning air, safe and sound. “I just walk right out of here?”

“One step at a time.” O.B’s voice took on the steadfast tones of one friend cheering the other on against insurmountable odds. He wasn’t merely the enabler, but the devil on your shoulder, getting you into all kinds of trouble. Or, in this case, out of it.

“When I say ‘right,’ you go right. I say ‘left,’ you go left.”

“Uhuh.” Mobius’ top lip felt cold. “Piece of cake. Slice of pie.”

“And when I say ‘run,’” warned O.B. “You don’t stop until I say so.”

In chapter 5, we move to Loki's POV, and he's... not too successfully coping with the fact Mobius is gone. This chapter may or may not involve Loki time-slipping, with dire consequences...

‘…humans as…not quite as awesome as other life forms, and you’re right. In the large scheme of things, we’re not good for much.’

Mobius’ words echoed back at him from beyond the void of space and time, coupled with his own inflated ego.

“Loki…” B-15 touched his arm. Careful. As if he might sprout spikes at any given second. “Even if he’s in the basement, that isn’t the end. Timely isn’t the only resourceful guy ‘round here.”

Loki nodded, dragging down air into his lungs. He wiped his face using Mobius’ handkerchief; tears or no tears, one look at him and B-15 knew. Her eyes showed no judgement, nor disapproval, but he couldn’t be so certain of Miss Cigrand.

“I’ll call him on the TemPad,” said B-15, getting to her feet.

“Mister Laufeyson?” Emeline hovered closer, clearly unable to take in what had just happened. “... Loki?”

He couldn’t blame her. He felt much the same. He stood, smoothing the front of his outfit, wiping at his cheeks one final time before turning on his heel. “Miss Cigrand. Emeline.” He bowed slightly, Wizard persona firmly in place. “There may well be ghosts walking these halls, but there is something far more sinister at work. Indeed, it lurks behind these very walls.”

I've been physically feeling like shit lately, and writing had taken a backseat for a while. Then I came up with this.

Apparently, I just needed to make someone else miserable (preferably a fictional character) to get some writing accomplished!

So here it is, a little addendum to my Lokius (hard) dubcon fic, so I could torture my beloved Mobius a bit more. Because Loki couldn't have ALL the angst.
