I feel like so many problems people have with tv at the moment could be solved if we just went back to the good ole days of 20 episodes a season that’s just sixty percent filler and character development. Give the people what they want- less condensed story and more meaningless shenanigans

that last sentence is so powerful considering everything that's going on
including recent events in which french senators are currently trying to pass a bill to criminalize critiqueing the state of israel/ speaking up against zionism: "those who insult the state of israel would face two years imprisonment and a fine of EUR 75,000 "
imagine making it illegal to speak up against a state that has bombed civilians with white phosphorus
imagine making it illegal to speak up against a state that is carrying out collective punishment against the entire population in Gaza, as we speak
this might soon be the world we live in

neil gaiman and RTD are absolute legends for being the showrunners of 2 mainstream shows funded by large production companies in the year 2023, and proceeding to make the most queer positive episodes ever seen by man
meanwhile david tennant is just vibrating with joy because he gets more opportunities to wear his one-thousand-and-twenty-four pride pins

[Link] (They are a wonderful artist definitely check them out)
I saw this on twitter this morning and it reminded of just how many great ideas and concepts were floating around in the early stages of the Loki series.
This is very in character for Loki. He probably would not have thought twice about something like slavery especially on a place like Midgard before the events of Thor 1 but let's put ourselves in his shoes for a moment.
This is a Loki that’s just been ripped out of his timeline, stripped of his clothes, put into different collar, and tossed into the unknown.
He has also just been info dumped his entire life story by some guy, Mobius, who really believes in him for some reason. Of course the first thing he's going to do is kill the slave owner.
And the neck snap!

this happened 7 years ago, the people were only trying to help a girl who was bleeding from a shot wound.
Watch the video yourself, you can see the people who gathered were not posing as a threat, they were only concerned about the girl. Yet an officer felt it necessary to harass a man in a wheelchair?
There is no neutrality. There is nothing complex about it once you open your eyes and realise the people of palestine have been dealing with an oppressive force for years

if i got a nickel for seeing a ship end with a chatacter who leaves to do something greater/fulfilling their purpose and help more ppl, but at the expense of leaving the love of their life alone and letting them lose their previous purpose...I'd get two nickels. which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
