Huge win for Arasha fans everywhere. The last meal she ate from her own out of a dish was Tuesday night. I’ve been syringe feeding her the past few days. Not necessarily force feeding her, because all I had to do was syringe some mush into her mouth and then she would willingly swallow it down.
For anyone who doesn’t know, cats really arent made to not eat. They’ll go into liver failure pretty quickly. Had she not been eating from a syringe as well as she did she would have either had to be hospitalized or she would have ended up going into liver failure.
She’s been a lot happier the past 12 hours or so as well as more active. She’ll go back in on Monday for more bloodwork and hopefully that will have improved as well.

still not over the fact ive spent the last couple of years becoming so lethargic and depressed it's become nearly impossible to motivate myself to do anything, including eating- despite this i make a point of going outside everyday bc my body struggles with processing certain vitamins
well yesterday i found out my body has not been processing vitamin d for who knows how long, which is causing my lethargy and lack of appetite and depression, and i am starting a treatment that involves being given a 50x the regular amount dose to get my body back in balance
im both excited and feel so vindicated i knew something was going wrong and im so glad to finally get some treatment
here's hoping i can finally become a functioning human being

Sela Ward and Hugh Laurie in House (2004) The Mistake
S2E8
Chaos ensues after Chase's negligence leads to the death of a female patient. Now, after an inquiry from the hospital board, and a subpoena from the patient's brother, it's up to Stacey to protect Chase's career, as well as House's.
*At the beginning of the episode, Kayla's daughters tell her that Sally Ayersman has been teasing them, to which Kayla responds, "If Sally's mean to you again, I'm just gonna have to key her daddy's new convertible." However, later in the episode, House blackmails a surgeon into doing Kayla's liver transplant. The surgeon is a Dr. Ayersman, whose wife, getting an "anonymous" tip about her husband's cheating, decides to key his new convertible. In House's words, "Enough irony for us all."

Fellow nurblrs! We had a rousing discussion on my unit the other day about what every nursing domain likes to focus on. Like L&D had their special monitoring equipment, accels, decels and such and onc cares about BSAs. What are you obsessed with on your nursing unit?

I'm speaking as someone who had a really bad burnout a handful of years ago. You need to give your brain a break. Usually for adhd folks more asleep helps a ton with the brain fog. Adding stimulants will just have your body draw from an already empty well. If you're having trouble with rest or other forms of self-care doctors can help and so can some of the online resources out there. Supplements are wonderful too. Take care of yourself and good luck. You can do it.
thanks so much you sweet anon <3 creating my prior post actually did prompt me to call my doc about upping the wellbutrin because i'm on a low dose rn and i think i need some more mental stability at the moment. but i think you are right about the exhaustion, which increasing the adderall would probably make worse. im gonna see if the doc also has any input on how to help me sleep better because i think that's also a big factor. thank you angel 💕💕💕💕

I almost forgot to post on here but I spent friday-monday in the hospital with my liver almost failing 😩 so glad I actually went cause I almost didn't & could've died, levels should never be over 61, mine were 4592. I had been puking for an entire week before, couldn't even hold water down, Passing out constantly, felt like I was about to have a seizure almost everyday (I've had them a few times before, possibly connected to my liver issues). Gotta monitor my liver levels until they're back to 61, right now they're at 1522.

My grandpa fell on Saturday and then again on Sunday and now hes in the hospital for that which is how we found out he also apparently has liver cancer and a blood infection and if he doesn't die from the infection he'll die from the cancer and I'm like. What do I do. In 2020 he fell and broke a rib and when they did a CT scan or whatever for that they noticed scarring on his liver and DIDN'T TELL HIM. Then a couple years ago he broke his clavicle and AGAIN they noticed some masses on his liver, but they couldn't see all of it on the scans and again DID NOTHING and like even if there was nothing they could really do for him bc he's old and frail, at least we could've had this time to come to terms with it instead of suddenly it being like hey! Ur grandpa will be dead either in a few weeks or a few months!
