Sela Ward聽and聽Hugh Laurie聽in聽House (2004) The Mistake
S2E8
Chaos ensues after Chase's negligence leads to the death of a female patient. Now, after an inquiry from the hospital board, and a subpoena from the patient's brother, it's up to Stacey to protect Chase's career, as well as House's.
*At the beginning of the episode, Kayla's daughters tell her that Sally Ayersman has been teasing them, to which Kayla responds, "If Sally's mean to you again, I'm just gonna have to key her daddy's new convertible." However, later in the episode, House blackmails a surgeon into doing Kayla's liver transplant. The surgeon is a Dr. Ayersman, whose wife, getting an "anonymous" tip about her husband's cheating, decides to key his new convertible. In House's words, "Enough irony for us all."

Hey everyone !! please read
I am breaking my tumblr hiatus to bring attention to something really important to my family. A family friend is in need of a kidney transplant, and Lebanon is facing its worst economic crisis and their hospitals aren't the most affordable either..
It is costing 11,000USD / 17,000 AUD for a kidney transplant
Any help is appreciated, any amount, even a reblog. I really hope this post reaches some kind souls and makes a difference to Hussein's life.
Thank youu <3

//21 years of fighting trying and living//
(Yesterday) I celebrated my 21 years of living with a transplant organ and after 3 whole years I can say.
I'm happy to be alive.
I'm happy to not have killed myself and yesterday it showed, today it shows- tomorrow each day it shows.
It's been a long fight not only those years but the entire run down.
I've been born with a genetic defect to my gallbladder- causing my liver to fail.
The doctors didn't even gave me 2 months and I still made it- I'm here in a bus.
Driving to work- as a 23 year old young adult.
It's weird and yet good- I made it.
So a toast to a set of 21 more years full of life.

This is my cousin. She's currently waiting for a liver transplant due to liver infection. She was previously in a medically-induced coma because she was in septic shock.
If you can, could you please donate to the GoFundMe account set up by her sister to assist with both the transplant and postoperative medical costs. It doesn't have to be a lot. If you can't then words of encouragement would be fine
Normally, I don't ask people for money, but I can't lose my cousin. She's like a sister to me. I will post a link below. Thank you for your time.

How Much Does Liver Transplant Costs in India?
The liver is our body's second-largest organ. It aids digestion by breaking down all of the nutrients in food and can withstand a lot of stress and abuse, but it can only go so far before getting into a stage of severe liver disease or cirrhosis. In recent times, the increase in demand for liver transplants has increased. If you are on this page, then you might be thinking of getting a liver transfer. Here we have discussed the procedure of getting a liver transfer along with liver transplant costs in India and many more.
What is a liver transplant?
A liver transplant is a procedure in which a diseased or unhealthy liver is replaced with one from a living or deceased donor. When a person has ESLD (End-Stage Liver Disease), a liver transplant is a last resort effort to save a dying patient's life. continue reading

Long post alert 馃毃
Some of you that have been following me a while might remember that I practically vanished for the 2 years surrounding my liver transplant. Initially it was the stress of being in active organ failure and preparation for such a major surgery. Then my post op course did not go as expected at all and was extremely complicated. The main reason I was absent for so long after though was due to my appearance, mainly my hair. You are given so much information about what can and will happen to you when facing Transplant but one of the things they don鈥檛 tell you is that you might loose your hair. 锟糤omen, especially myself, hold a lot of identity in their hair, so when a majority of mine fell out or broke off I was devastated. It wasn鈥檛 until last spring I would even leave my house without my hair covered, last summer when I felt more comfortable in photos and last fall when I gave up on the length I had left and cut it to hide the breakage. Finally over the spring it began to fully grow back and by the end of summer I was feeling like myself again. I even decided I WANTED to cut it again recently. I just want to take a moment to appreciate how healthy and long my hair has gotten again and how happy I am to have this piece of me back.

Hey all of my one followers.
If I'm being honest I'm just writing this to you so that I have plausible deniability in my mind if you read it.
But, in 2019 I had decided to die. I wasn't going to kill myself but I was just going to die. It takes a lot to stay alive and a lot of discipline and whatnot and I decided to not do it anymore. Around that time I met a bunch of new people and they made being alive worthwhile and I got married and a bunch of stuff. But the thing is I never actually decided to live. Bonus news. My health was deteriorating. It was deteriorating weirdly and in a manner that made no medical sense.
And then COVID happened and I got ojt of the military and I moved and we adopted some kids and I started having seizures and then I got arrested and then I started getting tired and then my liver failed and then my kidney failed and then I was in a waking coma where my brain didn't record anything but I was there. And then the medical personnel told me I was gonna die, sweet.
Then they told me that I was gonna die because I was an alcoholic (assumption based on my veteran status). And I didn't deserve to live and that was when I decided that they had me fucked up. But I never actually decided to live. But they weren't gonna fucking kill me because they had me confused with some other person. So I got the organs and healed and ahit and I'm fully fucking healthy and some stuff has happened over the past 4 days that reminded me that I never actually decided that I wanted to live.
And I still can't. I don't have anything to prove to anyone anymore and I don't know where people get motivation from. I'm not going to harm myself. It's just an incredibly difficult time and I don't knownwhat I'm to do about it.
