Remus really needed to study. Rationally, he knew he had revised all that could be revised for the O.W.L. mock exams, but he had figured re-revising every single subject once more couldn’t hurt. So he had sat down at one of the small tables by the windows in the Gryffindor Common Room and had drawn the curtain making the place a small alcove to keep out the activity in the room. But people still kept interrupting him.

“Hey Moony, Pads thinks you already know everything,” James poked his head through the curtain.

Remus just nodded, not convinced.

“Moony, I’ll challenge Pads to a game of chess to distract him,” Peter drew the curtain back just a little.

“Cheers, Pete.”

“Moony, can you come tell Pads dogs don’t die if they chew on the pieces of a magical chess set?”

“… what,” Remus stared at James, then rolled his eyes. “Tell him yourself, Prongs, I’m busy.”

“I just wanted to tell you not to worry for me, I’ve blackmailed Pads into buying me a new set,” Peter grinned from between the curtains.

“Remus, do you have a muffliato cast on these curtains?” Lily poked her head through. “Because I don’t get how you’re able to work with your boyfriend moaning out loud he’s been abandoned out there.”

“Force of habit.”

“I honestly don’t get how you two can be together,” Mary almost appeared behind him. “He’s not even able to read in silence right now.”

“He usually has his mouth full in the important moments.”

Mary swatted him on the arm and disappeared.

“I’ll try to take him away now,” James smiled in his Quidditch gear. “Happy studying I guess?”

“Cheers, Prongs.”

“Just so you know, your boyfriend isn’t even coming to Quidditch practice,” Marlene’s broom almost knocked him on the head. “And you’re short a babysitter since James’s already on the pitch.”

“Thanks, Marls.”

“Are you sure you don’t want to come with me to the Library?” Lily sighed. “I bet he’s about to sing along to the whole Queen discography in a minute.”

Remus only shook his head over the vinyl playing loudly from behind the curtain.

“Sorry Moony, but I have a date with that cute Hufflepuff girl now… I hope he’ll behave.”

“Surely not. Have fun, Pete.”

“Do you need me to put a full body-bind curse on him?”

“No need, Mary,” Remus sighed. “I’ll deal with him.”

He drew the curtain back to the sight of Sirius dancing by the vinyl player in the middle of the common room, exasperated looks from the other students washing over him.

“Pads!” he called.

Sirius whirled around immediately. Remus moved his wand and silenced the player.

“Here. Now,” he said.

Seconds later Sirius was by his side on the cushioned bench and Remus drew the curtain close again.

“Now, will you keep quiet and let me study?”

“Moony, come on, you know all this already…” Sirius placed a hand on his boyfriend’s thigh.

“No. Stay.”

Sirius sighed and lay down on the bench, his head in Remus’s lap. Remus passed a hand through his boyfriend’s hair, his eyes reverting back to his History of Magic notes.

“Merlin, Pads, you’re so dramatic,” he rolled his eyes with a corner smile.

Imagine; yk how that Alcine guy was saying they go into the universe? What if before that; they notice Lucifer and Alastor looking at the camera (the butterfly) and when they fall they are aware of them being sentient??? Like dude I wonder how the watcher (I feel like if reader became an overlord that’s what they would be called) would react; would they answer questions?? Maybe blackmail??? So many questions….

There are two options depending on how reader feels about them being sentient in the first place. One is that they do go to the hotel due to it technically being the safest place for them, and they're maybe fascinated with the sentient thing or just generally aren't negative about it, but there's also the other option where reader would try to hide away from the two (since we're speaking of the timeline where only Al and Luci are self-aware) while trying to find a way to get back to the real world.

But going with them going to the hotel, I don't think that blackmailing would be the best idea. Reader only knows things about them that were shown in the show and the things that were said on the internet, so there's not that much to blackmail them with in the first place. Even if reader did try, this would be the time when Al was still pretty negative about them (or very slowly going to the more neutral zone) and Luci was barely on the neutral grounds, so trying to blackmail them wouldn't be the brightest idea 😭

So many questions and I have the answers, but anyway, two options again depending on reader's character! They would either answer the questions to the best of their ability (which while still isn't too much, reader would be more sure in their answers and probably have answers to some questions that unaware!reader wouldn't have) or withhold the answers for a sort of a deal. The deal being something like 'You help me get back to where I came from and I give answers'.

Reader becoming an overlord in that situation (Yes, the name would be 'The Watcher' or something very similar) depends on how long they would stay (or if they can even go back). In here, if reader went there, they would have a way of going back, and wouldn't even want to become an overlord since they want to go back home as soon as possible.

Is it true that there's no animosity between you and... you know, you know who. You never talk about her in any way. I guess I'm curious. You guys seemed like really close friends and then just weren't friends at all. And there was some stuff she said that seemed very targeted at you...

I don't know if she feels any animosity toward me or not any more. Our mutual friends have said she doesn't and I take them on their word in that regard, assuming that if they have an answer for me it's because they're aware how she feels. I wouldn't know and it's not my place to put words in her mouth.

I haven't spoken to her/about her in a long time and the only time she even crosses my mind is when people bring her up to me. As for me feeling any animosity? I'll admit my feelings on her these days are complicated and way too nuance-core for people who aren't my friends to hear about but I wouldn't call them animosity in any way. I inherently want people my friends care about to live well because I care about my friends, and anyone my friends care about by proxy and I still share friends with her. I would never wish ill on people my friends care about so animosity doesn't fit into that by definition. I'd say I'm hurt more than anything and even then I've worked through a lot of it with trusted friends who have helped me deal with my emotions in a healthy way.

(Besides, my own life struggles keep me from even being able to invest time into animosity. I have to expend that energy loving my family, doing my best to support them during our struggles. And I've never been a hateful person it isn't in me. I would rather play 'Hot To Go' by Chappell Roan and teach my dad how to do the hand gestures to help him strengthen his muscles again than focus on hating anyone...)

I try not to think about her because it hurts. I often think that people forget that I'm a real person outside of her sphere, and that I wouldn't want to talk about what happened because I truly did consider her a friend for a long time. And when someone I consider a friend appears to not regard me with care any more suddenly and I don't even have closure on that... well... it hurts... A lot. Of course I never talk about it.

And I'm not stupid, I have seen some stuff she's said that I've gathered was about me. I remind myself that she has a right to vent in her own spaces and I truly mean that... it's just a shame that her own spaces have people who then have taken these things to me to show me (after all, I wouldn't have even seen these things myself if not for third-party anons going 'this u?') saying it is my own fault because I was a terribly cruel friend or my own fault for not listening to warnings about her when I had the chance and that makes me a stupid gullible bitch. You lot haven't seen some of the awful shit about me from some of her more ravenous fans and haters I've seen over the years that I've had to let roll off my back in the fear it would bring backlash - not even to me, to her. I don't want to be the cause of any hatred going to anyone.

Also I'm just not going to ever talk about the details of our fallen friendship or our fallen relationship. That's private. She might be a public person to some extent but I never was, even if I do gain some measure of small fandom for my work one day I'm just private about personal matters especially raw ones. I almost deleted this ask entirely but Idk I never stated that it bothers me when people talk to me about her from my own mouth, so I guess that's what this ramble is.

If you send me anything about Lily Orchard it will not be addressed. I am not a part of her life not even through our mutual friends. I do not know or care what's going on with her public/personal life. I haven't kept up. I will never keep up. Don't treat me as an extension of the situation because I am not in the situation. In the most plainly stated sense of the word: Leave me the Hell alone. (...pretty please.)

All I've wanted this entire time was to be left alone to process everything in a healthy, peaceful way. I'm workin' on it.

Genji is a total gym rat but not obnoxious at all - he's just super active. He and Fuchsia will work out together sometimes 🏋️

I have some inspired thoughts on the 3Vees and Reader, so I can send them later if you want. No real mention of them becoming aware or having break downs cos I like your takes better.

The line I use with Sera talking about God/Readers 'blessing' was 'bestowed on to us knowledge and awareness that may seem too vast to comprehended' so yeah I was leaning towards them kinda being aware but not fully. I wonder if it's ignorance or denial at that point, how close can they get to the truth without realising it. Can't wait to see that break down, I wonder if that would make them realise that Reader isn't God's sibling or if that would actually have the opposite effect and reinforce that idea.

But for now, I'll just leave a goofy little scenario of Charile coming back from Heaven after hearing the Angel's call Reader God's sibling:

Hi, I know I'm over a week late and all, but I couldn't leave it be cause this subject is really a sensitive matter to me for tragic personal reasons. I want to say that the reason you don't remember James ever "continuously asking Lily out; sexually harassing Lily; always asking her out and not taking no for an answer" is not because it's been a while since you read the books and forgot, no, it's simply because is DOESN'T HAPPEN IN THE BOOKS! PERIOD! It's not CANON and it boils my blood to no end when people make shit like this up and make such grave accusations when anyone owns the books and can check on their own that this did NOT happen in them! I dare anyone to bring forth any passage from the books that says any of that! The more they insist that this is canon, the angrier and more offended and hurt I get! I'm endlessly sorry about anyone's personal experience with such crimes (if I wasn't clear enough, I'm unfortunately familiar with them, too) but that does not change simple facts of what happened in the books, what IS and what is NOT canon and it's not an excuse to spread lies so insistently and passionately. Either this is willfully spreading lies or, and I will give benefit of the doubt, it's just people confusing canon with fanon after being in fandom and reading fanfics too much, in which case I would suggest rereading the books and brushing up with the canon knowledge, before spreading such harmful and hurtful rhetoric :/

hi, thank you for this ask and i’m sorry for what you’ve had to go through as well. yeah, i haven’t heard anyone contradict what i said in that post so i assume it was just something the fandom made up. i’m sure ace just confused fanon with canon— no victim would purposefully be spreading lies like that even if they did hate james because they would know how serious sexual abuse is having gone through it themselves. plus i’ve seen them complain about the same things with what some marauders fans say about snape, so i’m sure they didn’t do it on purpose and their intentions were good. but i won’t put it past other people in the hp fandom/snapedom to use it as a bandwagon to continue shitting on james without doing their due diligence and checking if something as serious as that is true or not.

i do agree that people need to be more focused on what is canon and what isn’t, especially with the harry potter fandom since its so large and very removed from a lot of its content, and especially if they are in the snapedom and the marauders fandom, because both fandoms seem to get the most carried away with their characters in my personal experience. i’ve seen people throw around creepy allegations at many characters and it really hurts and annoys me too, even if those characters are considered nasty. it’s one thing to say something like “[x] canonly likes porridge” (who cares in this instance) or “[x] is canonly gay” (annoying and probably ignorant but also whatever), and then say “[x] canonly sexually harrassed [y]” (….helllo??? cant speak for everyone but its definitely offensive to me lol). sometimes concentrated sub-fandoms may be a little like echo chambers so its good to brush up then and again on certain things. its good to interrogate people’s opinions and challenge them. you dont have to comment or reblog (i know i don’t…. usually 🧍‍♀️) but it can keep you from falling into repeating things that just confuse (or worse, hurt) people more.

Hello hello! Minthy and Kalius become the Absolute, then they *call drops* on that illithid throne after Kalius proposes (they're practically engaged 7th time prior with all the rings on Minthara's fingers). After that they begin their conquest of Menzoberranzan and get Kalius' cambion wings back from Mizora (Kalius made a deal with Mizora a long time ago: trading her cambion powers and wings so the person she loved the most no longer had to suffer from terminal illness' pain).

Then things happen and Kalius reincarnates into Lily, The Dark Urge.
