Netflix's feelgood investigative sitcom set in a retirement home mines some heartwarming humour about aging, families, and mortality. Loosely inspired by the Chilean documentary The Mole Agent about an elderly man going undercover to uncover possible crimes in a nursing home, Ted Danson stars as a widower in desperate need of direction and a hobby who quickly thrives in the new environment under the novelty of being a "spy" trying to solve a mystery. It's a heartfelt depiction that shines a light on the sentimental struggles of seniors at the end of the lives.

Lilah: That was my favorite day of shooting...They gave us a note, and we just went so far into that passive-aggressiveness. It got very broad. We were just really playing at that point. It was so fun.

Stephanie: Those characters are very very similar to each other: can read people, can understand the way the world works - have very different views about it...They really connect on that (workaholism) and understand the loneliness there as well...Almost like they are a match in toughness.
