Well I just found the saddest screenshot of season 5....

I never noticed Macaque on the left.

He's literally surrounded by both his Monkey Mentors in his absolute worst moment.

As much as they fight, they come together for him. I don't care that Mk is in his 20s; compared to Macaque and Wukong, and in their eyes, he's a baby monkey who's traumatized beyond belief.

Like going into a parent's room after a nightmare.

I finally got the chance to watch LMK Season 5 over the weekend!! I have a ton of thoughts about it, but I wanted to redraw this sweet moment between Wukong and Macaque in the final episode, and imagine what we COULD have had if it weren’t interrupted.
