A headcanon I didn’t even realize I indulge in a lot is that Wukong has a hard time letting Macaque touch him without him initiating it.

I headcanon that Wukong used to be a REALLY touchy person both with the brotherhood and before. He was always touching someone even if it was small, and LOVED when people would give him physical affection. He was especially like this with Macaque.

Macaque is less affectionate than Wukong. He only likes Wukong and the baby monkies touching him. No one else. He would sneak up on Wukong and hug him and Wukong would love it.

In the current day Wukong has a hard time letting Macaque touch him. At all. He HAS to be the one to initiate it or he’ll freak out silently. Macaque once snuck behind him and hugged him after a bad day and he shook so badly.

On good days Wukong will let Macaque hold his hand (something Macaque loves cause he’s so warm), or will lean on him. A hug if he’s feeling generous and good.

On bad days Macaque is not allowed to be 20 feet near him or he’ll break down.

Extra: Another reason Wukong is so hesitant is because in the back of his mind he’ll think Macaque will hurt him. He hates thinking like that but it’s an irrational fear. Despite what he says, he’s not over Macaque disguising himself and then attacking him plus his friends. He’s not over when Macaque hurt him in season 3 on the ship. While he doesn’t like thinking like that, when Macaque comes at him to quickly, Wukong thinks he’s gonna be hurt.

The birth of MK

finally!!! I finished it Well what I wanted to show is how MK was born. I had that feeling that woman had something to do after watching season 4 (I thought she was guan yin, but someone told me she wasn't, so I don't know who she is) and that Wukong was present at MK's birth. Well I implied that idea that Macaque was also there, because he wanted to take revenge on Wukong but his plans changed when MK was born, he didn't want the little one to go through the same thing as him, and that's why he decides to stay in the mountain to watch over Wukong so he doesn't make the same mistake. But Macaque knows that deep in his heart he wanted to make things right with Wukong but he doesn't want to admit it, maybe they will be able to talk things over instead of fighting, for the sake of little MK.

I will leave it to your imagination what Macaque said to Wukong?
