What do you think of Tv show Percabeth? Cuz I know you hate Percabeth in the books(and for valid reasons as well), but I also know that a lot of people dismiss Black women as love interests for non-Black/white male leads(and a lot of racist Percabeth shippers may decide that they don’t like the TV show version because of this, because Percy could NEVER love a Black girl!!!). And I don’t want that to happen.

Oh they decided that the second Leah got casted LMAO,they were the almost the only ones harassing her and they're hating on the show for strawman reasons now.They made snowbunny Percabeth and even snowbunny Perachel jokes so we all know why.Also show Percabeth is decent but Annabeth should date Piper this time to make Percy her disposable white boy love interest

something about annabeth being booksmart and intelligent and knowledgeable because she’s been at this demigod shit since she was in her crib and percy being street smart and disillusioned with the people of the world because he’s a new york raised bullied guy who has way too much fight in him is so perfect and balanced. like annabeth fills percy in on all the obscure greek myths and asinine traditions and finer details about gods and percy butts in when they’re traveling on quests, annabeth exploring a world for the first time that he is all too familiar with, helping with things that annabeth can’t know about because she’s only ever dreamed of leaving camp for five years and counting. they’re exactly what the other needs.

PERCY JACKSON FANS HEAR ME OUT!

It’s season 3 of the PJO show AKA The Titans Curse. Percy (Walker) is sitting in front of Aphordite Goddess of Love and Beauty who just so happens to look like an older version of his best friend Annabeth (Leah) totally unrelated we’re sure.

Then he blinks and the beautiful woman in front of him changes….now she has brown hair and blue eyes she smiles, its Alexandria Daddario movie Annabeth. Just a split second cameo and then she’s gone.

Now a different woman is sitting in front of Percy, a woman with blonde hair and hazel eyes Kristen Stokes Lightning Thief Musical Annabeth. She shifts and changes again.

The final and last woman we see before Percy has curly blonde hair, tanned skin, and stormy grey eyes it’s book Annabeth.

Percy doesn’t realise it but we do. The Goddess of love shows him every version of the girl he loves from every universe he loves her in. It’s beautiful, it’s cinema, it needs to happen.

ppl mad at percy for the “thought we could never be friends” line but from his perspective it’s actually so valid 😭 like annabeth’s been on his ass since he got at camp. “you drool when you sleep” was the first thing she said to him and then she straight up used him in capture the flag and pushed him into the water with no warning. this little guy has been burnt over and over from his school experiences and is clearly so wary of putting his faith and trust in people. besides, i think he also hadn’t realised that annabeth and him could actually relate to each other and get along well. this is just the beginning you guys. and tbh, the fact that percy and annabeth are so at odds with each other in the start is what makes their eventual falling for each other so poignant.
