My Thoughts

Another anthology, and another really good time!

After reading the 5th volume of the Heart2Heart anthologies, I really meant to go back and start at the beginning. But somehow I found myself with the newest volume instead.

I really liked that the theme was so random, and that the questions were so broad and unique! Each story was so captivating, I had to take a pause in between to truly process them all on their own.

Just like with volume 5, there were definitely some stories that I liked more than others. Definitely some authors that I felt a bit more of a connection with than others. But I can truly say that there wasn’t one single story I disliked at all. I walked away with a few more authors to check out at a later date, as well!

Sometimes, all we need are really good, happy endings, and fuzzy feelings. This anthology definitely offers that in spades. I cannot wait to explore more of these authors, and the earlier editions of these anthologies.

Really liked the premiere of “Gotham Knights” last night!!! :D Confirmed what a lot of us thought that Turner is a mashup of Dick, Jason, and Tim since they likely can’t use those 3 characters but I like him already too. Stephanie also has some of Barbara in her too and looking forward to seeing more of her with her parents as it’ll be more like what we know from the comics. Like Duela, Harper, Carrie, and Cullen too. Misha’s great already as Harvey and like the Court of Owls being the main villains too. Looking forward to how the rest of the season is. 

“Superman and Lois” had a good premiere too. :) Like the new Jonathan so far but didn’t expect that twist with Lois which was pretty scary.

Commissions are paid for through a donation to any of the Donation Options listed on the dcufans4palestine's Carrd. I will only start work on your commission after I have proof of donation.

Priscilla Lane (Arsenic and Old Lace, Saboteur, The Roaring Twenties)— I see Priscilla Lane in Arsenic and Old Lace every year during my Halloween rewatch, and I always love watching her. She had a rubber-face for comedy, while still looking adorable no matter what funny face she’s making. She seems to have had a slightly fuller mouth than was the thin-lipped vogue at the time, and every time she pouts at her forgetful new husband, she looks so gosh-darn kissable that you understand completely why Cary Grant is so wild to get her on the train to Niagra for crazy honeymoon sex. No wonder this movie nearly got Hayes coded for the newlyweds being too hot for each other.

How it works: Send me a screenshot of a donation you made to any of these charities, and I will write a short (<4k) DC Comics fic based on a prompt/ship of your choosing. You can find samples of my previous DC work here, here, and here.

Fandoms: I'm most familiar with the Super and Bat families, Young Justice '98/Teen Titans '03, and Young Justice Animated.

Ships? Personal squicks include incest and adult/minor ships (no hate, just not my jam), and I'm not comfortable writing NSFW, but beyond that, any ship (romantic or platonic) is fair game!
