Since Maxxx refuses to talk to anyone but death (with exceptions), I like to think that the major sees Maxxx ignoring him as a challenge and talks to him for hours until he got some sort of reaction. I can see them becoming friends later on.

Due to these interactions the thanagers have also spoken to each other. they aren’t exactly friends like their sorrows, but they don’t hate each other either.

Insanity hit me a while back and I designed some MLP versions of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul characters with my friend. I thought about these too hard. The characters are (from left to right): Gus, Max, Mike, Hank, Walter, Heisenberg, Mr. Lambert, Flynn, Lydia, Kim, Andrea. The first one is a screenshot redraw of the legendary scene. I will probably design more of these in the future.

laying in bed with my dumb cat thinking about how walter white’s man vs self conflict is easily the most fascinating part of breaking bad to me because he’s the only character i know of in any media besides MAYBE naked snake that is not only the hero AND the villain but also the antihero as well. Like his arc sees him filling all three of these roles and it’s amazing writing not to mention bryan cranston absolutely kills it like no one else. no one is doing ego death quite like walter white… as hard as i may try i will never do him justice and i have accepted this

Lydia stares at the email she’s written and, taking a deep and shaky breath, promptly sends it. It’s risky, perhaps, to approach Skyler in any way after the nature of their interactions in the past, but something within Lydia leaves her longing to connect. To someone, anyone who can understand what it’s like to have survived through Walter White’s terror. Being a survivor of that, and a survivor of ricin poisoning specifically, is rather isolating.

Maybe it’s foolish to do so, and maybe Lydia will regret it even just minutes later, but for now, it’s out in the open.

Heisenberg was a limited Netflix Original Series that ran for six episodes. Directed and produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, the series dramatized the famous case of drug kingpin Walter White, also known as Heisenberg, played in-show by Affleck. The series draws partial inspiration from the memoirs published by White’s widow, Skyler Lambert, along with court testimony from White’s partner, Jesse Pinkman.

The miniseries follows White as he uses his experience as a chemist to cook crystal meth after he is diagnosed with lung cancer, and subsequently becomes embroiled in situations beyond his control. Along for the ride are his partner, former student Jesse Pinkman (Timothee Chalamet) and unethical lawyer Saul Goodman (Steve Carrell). His wife, Skyler (Gillian Anderson) struggles to maintain control over their home while her husband unknowingly climbs the ladder of success in the drug world.

The series was praised for its cinematography, its faithfulness to both accounts of the events, and its ability to balance the emotional core of the story with humorous and satirical elements. 

Although Pinkman declined on multiple occasions to comment on the series, Lambert has been quite open about her involvement with the show and its subject matter. “I wanted to make sure they weren’t glamorizing what he did,” Lambert told Oprah in a 2013 interview. “I knew that if somebody was going to be making a movie about this they were going to do it right. I wouldn’t have let this project happen if i knew it wouldn’t be respectful.” Lambert worked closely with both Gillian Anderson and Ben Affleck in order to help them portray her and her husband.
