notes//cw :: named after and inspired by 'room for you' by grentperez + lyn lapid,, im so projecting onto the reader like they are literally me,, fic follows you from elementary -> junior high -> high school -> university (just in little snippets, nothing too long!!),, the school system in this is some kind of japanese school system mixed with the american school system,, kinda hurt/comfort(?) im not even sure if this qualifies actually,, fluffy end <3

a playground. it's filled to the brim with little kids, hanging from the monkey bars and sliding headfirst down the slide. yet here you are, sitting on the sidelines, cross-legged on the sidewalk as you twirl a piece of sidewalk chalk in your little hands. you're alone- till you're not. the sound of quick, loud steps, followed by a final huff, draws you out of your distracted state. the smallest gust of wind blows your hair away from your face as someone drops to the ground to sit next to you.

"heya, i'm tooru. why're you all alone? whatcha doing?" his eyes dart all over your face excitedly. it doesn't seem like he minds the fact that you didn't answer his questions. he finally glances down at the sidewalk below him and is absolutely fascinated with your chalk drawings. he looks at both you and your drawings with childlike wonder. you can't help but wonder why he came up to you, but you're glad that he did.

that was 14 years ago.

a full cafeteria sits in front of you, tables shoved full with kids. it's loud and overstimulating to be there, especially when you have nowhere to be sitting. junior high students rowdily chatter as they mow through their lunches and head outside to play. it's almost as if you're watching a movie play out in front of you as people keep moving about the cafeteria- until you hear a voice call out for you, pulling you out of your daze.

"hey!! over here!" tooru calls out, waving you over to his lunch table. he has a wide grin on his face as he beckons you over. when you get over to the table, he casually slings an arm over your shoulder and pulls you to sit down at the table with him and his friends. maybe junior high wasn't going to be so bad, after all. now you had a friend group, no?

"you fit right in!" tooru comments, nudging you as he laughs. truth be told, it's relieving to hear him say that. you could get used to this.

that was 7 years ago.

aoba johsai's gym. tooru's first high school volleyball match is going on right in front of you. it's amazing, the way that his serves spin across the net with such force. he plays with such agility and honed skill, and it leaves you in awe. the game wraps up quickly- practically in the blink of an eye. when he runs off of the court, you're the first person he comes up to. he jogs to you happily, beaming with excitement.

"how'd i do? did you see all my serves??" he asks, looking at you expectantly. he's very proud of how the game went.

"you did great!" you reply back, just as excited as he is. 

after the gym is cleaned up, you accompany the team to a nearby restaurant for a celebratory dinner. it's a walk, with the silence being filled by tooru and hajime's endless banter. this is comfortable. everything feels right, in this moment. as you walk in silence, listening in on hajime and oikawa's latest disagreement, you can't help but reflect on what you saw at the game. tooru was already playing so well. was it wrong to feel like you were getting left behind? to fear that he would leave you behind sooner or later? 

that was 5 years ago.

seijoh's auditorium. it's now filled with rows of students, ranging from 1st to 3rd years. it's your- it's all of the 3rd years' ending credits. it's all happening too fast. as you hear your name called out, it echos and rings through the auditorium. you automatically fall out of the line of students, and you receive your diploma, bowing to the principal and thanking him. then, you quickly head back to your spot in line. this was really it. it was weird, but it didn't make you feel any certain way. that was, until you heard the principal call out another name.

"oikawa tooru." you pause. all of a sudden, your heart ached. it was truly sinking in, how momentous of an occasion this was, whether it was for better or for worse. as tooru made his way to the front of the auditorium, you found your eyes gravitated to him as he walked. he glanced towards you and flashed a brief smile. he walked up to the principal, receiving his diploma with a bow and a "thank you." this was actually happening. it wasn't something incomprehensible that you would always be working towards. you had truly completed high school, and that was it. you could feel your heart twisting in your chest as he walked back to his spot in line, waving his diploma at you for a moment and grinning. you muster a smile back to him. 

you get a bad feeling about this. what if this is it? what if you never see each other again after this? of course, tooru isn't some mindreader, though. he has no idea you're feeling that way- he's completely clueless. you're probably just getting into your head about it, though. of course you guys would see one another, again. after all, the two of you had plans to go to the same university, anyway.

that was 3 years ago.

a phone is being held in front of your face. argentina national team, it says on the screen. is this some kind of joke? what about all the plans you had made with him? he's definitely joking... but his face betrays that idea. he looks dead serious about this, but at the sane time, he looks so excited. that means you have to be happy for them, no matter how much you feel like going home to process the grief you're now going through.

"oh, wow..." you manage to choke out. "argentina." where even is that? it's sure as hell not close. 

"yeah!" he says excitedly. "isn't that cool?" it's like he's forgotten about all the plans the two of you had made. how disappointing.

you nod slightly, mustering up a happy reply. it sounds forced. "yeah, it's super cool! when are you leaving, then?"

"umm... in a week! and we can stay in touch for sure! i'll message you as soon as i land, and then we can call at night!" he says, shutting off his phone and pocketing it as he looks at you, his ever-excited face still apparent. you need to match his energy- you wouldn't want to ruin the excitement of this moment for him, of course.

"totally!" you reply, smiling back at him. you're excited for him, but admittedly, you felt a little worried over being left behind. what would happen from here?

that was 1 year ago.

after tooru left for argentina, he stayed true to his promise. he texted you once he landed, and he called you every night- for a while at least. then the calls started coming less...

and less...

and less...

and less...

till they altogether stopped.

it only took 2 months for the calls to stop coming. not to mention, when you'd try to call, he'd answer, but he would only say he's busy and would talk to you later. you would be lying if you said you didn't get what could have caused it, though. for one thing, he's now committed to a national level volleyball team. the two of you are also 12 hours apart, time wise. it really does make sense why the calls stopped, but you just can't wrap your head around it. the two of you have been friends since 1st grade, so how could your relationship be falling apart so easily?

you missed him- you missed talking to him, too.

that was 10 months ago.

now, you sit in your university dorm, watching the computer screen in front of you as it plays a live volleyball game: argentina vs. japan. there were a couple familiar faces- amongst them, of course, being tooru. it felt weird, seeing him like this. it was like you had never known each other, seeing the game from here.

you wonder how he is. he was so enamored with the idea of being a part of a national team. he truly put in an effort to become as good as he is now. you miss him.  you resent him for leaving you behind. hopefully, he's okay, though. you still care about him.

the volleyball game comes to a close after long struggle, with japan coming out on top. hours pass as you sit in your dorm room, wasting time with multiple activities. the day feels so slow.

bzzt—

your phone rings, but quickly stops. you pick up your phone and check where the call was from. it was from tooru, and it was followed by a text that read, "oops sorry." you text back a "you're fine dw" and then put down your phone with a sigh, only for your phone to buzz again. tooru texts you again, asking how you are. 

soon enough, a conversation starts as the two of you continue to text back and forth. tooru calls you, explaining, "i figured if we were gonna continue talking... we should just call, right?" he pauses for a moment. "ah- and i'm sorry.. for not talking to you for a while. i don't have any excuse... i just stopped."

your heart twists in your chest. "...it's fine, don't worry. i get it. you're busy." you reply, picking at the sides of your phone case. it hurt to know he didn't even have a reason to stop talking to you,

"no... seriously. i'm sorry." tooru continues, "it won't happen again. i've missed you a lot."

"i missed you too," you reply simply. "i just wish you were still here, y'know? ...i saw your game against japan. you guys did really good. your serves have improved since high school, tooru," you add, feeling slightly better.

"yeah, i've been missing sendai, seriously." he sighs. "and why the hell did you not tell me they tore down the old house?" he groans. "our precious meet up spot..."

you laugh softly. "i figured it would only make you upset. but hey, we can make a new meet up spot. that old house was so school days," you reply, a joking lilt in your voice.

"yeah, you're right," he replies, laughing. "sorry, i won't have time to meet up this time, though. i'll make time next time i'm here visiting, promise."

you smile slightly, still picking at the sides of your phone case. "alright, that sounds good."

"and... hey," he says, his voice softer.

"hm?" 

"you know i'll always make time for you, right? there's always room for you," he says, your name following. it rolls off his tongue effortlessly. you've always adored the way he says your name. it felt comforting.

his words make you freeze up for a moment as you process what he just told you. "...thanks, tooru. i hope you know i will too. there's always room for you," you echo, a smile gracing your features as you realize- maybe your relationship didn't fall apart at all. after all, the relationships that have stood the test of time are usually the strongest, no? distance is just another obstacle for the two of you to overcome together.

while you two may not be fortunate enough to live near one another, neither of you will let physical distance be the reason your relationship fails. the two of you will always have room for each other inside of your hearts.

I was just gonna reblog the original "hey look I am toe-to-toe with this tiny ass stage" post I made, but I have a Mother Token face reveal + marriage proposal video to share with you all below the cut 👇

So some good news first, my ears are fine. Zeal & Ardor got a little loud near the end but, I had no ringing or tinnitus and no noticeable hearing loss. I had watched some videos of Zeal & Ardor and Gaerea on the East Coast from earlier on this tour, and the videos seemed fucking loud 🤷‍♀️ Not complaining, it was still great.

Backing up a few hours: my original plan was to get to the venue around 2-2:30 pm. I started getting ready around 1 pm, thinking that should give me enough time (venue was a 4 minute walk from my hotel). Turns out faking a '90s-style blow-out with a flat iron takes 3 times longer than just straightening your hair 🤷‍♀️ Who would have guessed? Anyway, after that and makeup and having a mini crisis about my outfit, I ended up going to the venue around 4 pm; 2 hours before doors. I must have PTSD from Sleep Token or something because I was expecting a full line but I ended up being #9.

Two Sleep Token girlies got in line behind me, but I was too shy to try talking to them really until later on. One of them, plus about three or four people in front of me, had a VIP meet/greet with Gaerea. About an hour before doors, a rep for that band came out and collected the people with those tickets and got shirt sizes and all that and I figured "okay, cool, he's gonna bring them into the venue an hour early." NOPE. Senhor Vocalist just fuckin waltzes out two minutes later to meet everyone. Like, I can't explain it because I haven't seen his face before but I recognized him instantly by his shoulders (then later by his tattoos). I made really fucking awkward eye contact with him and then decided the only safe place to look was the railing outside the venue. Anyway he greeted everyone really quick, then walked back inside for a minute, came back with the guitarist, and then the rest of the band joined them after another moment. Then the band just walked off with the VIPers and those fans didn't come back until doors already opened.

After the ID/ticket check, we lined up on the opposite side of the venue and I ended up at #5 in line (after letting the remaining Sleep Token girlie cut me, since she went in to use the restroom). They let us in right at 6 pm and I was the second one to the stage, standing right next to the first guy in line at center stage, which was literally only 2 feet tall btw. I had looked up photos of the venue online and it's literally worse (or better depending on personal perspective) in person.

The first band, Zetra, played us about an hour's worth of Mortiis music between doors and their set, which quite literally is DnD dungeon music. 10/10 do recommend, very vibes, much atmosphere. The duo themselves were amazing, and I realized after the fact that Sleep Token's manager plus Lyns (Espera) follow them so 👀

Halfway through Zetra's set, I realized the guy next to me was taking photos, so I worked up the courage to film two of their songs. I felt super awkward about it because I was three feet away from the guitarist. Afterward, he came out in a jumpsuit after the set to help break down, but was still in full corpse paint and had his hair stuffed into a baseball cap. He chatted with the front row a tiny bit as he worked and he’s super nice and funny 🥹

Right before Gaerea went on, a girl with a media badge squeezed in between me and the other guy at center stage for the first two songs. I'm still trying to find her social media because she got tons of great shots and some footage. Meanwhile, me on the other hand, got three and a half chaotic videos that consist mostly of Senhor Vocalist's groin 😭 Like, ISTG Senhor, I'm not trying to film your crotch, its just that I cannot hold my phone any higher (would literally be shoved in his face) or lower (I wouldn't be able to see my phone screen) 😭😭 About 75% of the time this happened I would panic and film the guitarists and bassist or the drummer. Aaand then the video below happened 🤩

I guess we are legally married now 🤷‍♀️ idk I don't make the rules. Anyway, hi, that's me, making major heart eyes for like 3 frames. You can also see the Sleep Token girlies right behind me. Even though I was in the front row (I keep wanting to say barricade but there was no barricade lol) it got really hot between Gaerea and Zeal & Ardor. Like I was regretting wearing a turtleneck sweater (Yeah that was my panic outfit, black turtleneck + 90’s hair + ripped skinny jeans + platform oxford shoes because I am insane). It didn't cool down either, half the guys around me plus Zeal & Ardor were drenched in sweat halfway through. Didn't affect their stage presence at all though; Manuel is actually very smiley/giggly and it made everything a million times better. Actually, the fake setlist gives you a pretty good idea of the vibes:

Things I noticed:

Hyde is in his mind scape fit and it looks like there’s Fire behind him; is he going to burn up in the mind scape?

Or while Jekyll is falling Deeper and Deeper into the mind scape Hyde is going to end up switching places with him, a last desperate messure to avoid the cops, or does he see how much the people in the Society need Jekyll.

I feel like something is going to happen to Hyde; he looks disheveled and there has to be a reason why Sage chose The mind scape outfit instead of his normal one.

Also the string? Is this representative of his connection to Jekyll? If so, why does he have the string but Jekyll doesn’t, is it for a seperation from Jekyll?

Hyde always has to be connected to Jekyll, he can never be separated from him because he stems from Jekyll. Which is why he has the string unwrapping from his wrist as he (possibly) dies

But Jekyll has lived Without Hyde as a separate entity, maybe Hyde has always been apart of him but that Part was always suppressed which is why he may look so happy. He feels finally free from that part of him after all of this time.

I dont think the Picnic is going to be a literal picnic in the story, but I think it represents a bit of peace and connection.

Also the name; Until the Horror goes

Is the Horror Hyde or the situation. I’d argue that its the situation because holy shit Hyde is not a horror right now he is a lost man right now.

Syl and Kaladin beautiful moments in WaT

I wanted to write this post to add some positivity about syladin here, as it makes me sad that the tag is full of antis, negative comments, and insults towards that ship so it seems shippers can't enjoy anything. BUT there are so many beautiful Syl and Kaladin moments in WaT, so sweet, funny, and wholesome, that I couldn't help but end up shipping them because of them and I wanted to highlight them here! Of course, you can see these moments as friendly platonic ones too; personally the way I prefer to describe them is not friends or lover, but soulmates, but hey this is a shipping post so we're here to enjoy! Oh, and if you're also a fan of Syl as character, I wrote a post about her as well! you can read it here. ^^

Kaladin and Syl's dance scene. It's been talked about a lot already, and rightly so, it's beautiful! A genuine moment where Kaladin and Syl are finally completely happy and carefree, where Kaladin finally allows himself to enjoy life, music, and each other's company. That "I deserve to be happy" from Kaladin warmed my heart. And both smiling at the end.

Kaladin remembering the time Syl defended him from the deathspren in WoK, remembering her as “A beautiful woman” fighting with a sword.

Kaladin thinking that Syl looks like his ex-girlfriend Lyn when she puts her hair up, and also remembering his ex-girlfriend Tarah right before dancing with Syl just to compare now he feels much better about dancing with someone without feeling ashamed of not knowing how to dance correctly (*most of the times Kaladin remembered Tarah in WoR and OB was when he was around Shallan thinking romantically about her. What a coincidence~)

Syl and Kaladin healing together and learning to live for themselves and not just for others, talking about it in a sincere and healthy way. In general growing up during their journey. She becoming more independent, her own person, and confident. Kaladin feeling happier, confident, being nicer and moving away from dark thoughts. The two of them healing together, understanding each other more than anyone else and supporting each other on their journeys

This scene where Syl helps Szeth and Kaladin congratulates and praises her telling her that she's brilliant and amazing: (ch 72)

All the moments when Syl holds Kal's hand and rests her head on his shoulder.

When Kaladin is playing the flute and Syl is lying on the grass next to him, both of them looking up at the stars. Enjoying the view, the music and her company. And she praising his song.

The moments where she tenderly and mischievously teases him, like a certain chull joke in the library and Syl asking him “Do you want to see it?” while he refuses and thinks about how he would blush seeing her naked.

Kaladin wondering what Syl is thinking when he sees her mischievous look and smile and telling her that he's curious about the excited way she always sees the world and makes him wonder what's interesting about even the smallest details.

Kaladin smiling when he sees Syl's smile and describing it as “a smile made of pure light”

Kaladin immediately trusting Syl when she warns him that Szeth is in danger and her thinking how good she feels when Kaladin trusts her so completely and without hesitation.

Syl as Kaladin's scribe and reading for him, as is usually the role of alethi wives with their husbands. And also being scribe and writing a diary because she enjoys writing and reading for herself, which is very healthy.

Kaladin thinking and almost shyly saying that Syl is perfect and her accepting and loving his flaws:

Syl touching Kaladin's face when his eyes turn dark brown again, both creating the Honor spear together and going together to a meadow in the mental dream in Braize when the heralds disappear from Roshar.

Syl being named Queen of the sprens and StormMother, and Kaladin being named King of the heralds and now turned into a cognitive shadow. Which makes them both now equal in positions, both immortal and also more similar in body and soul.

And finally, about the ship in general: they're the "grumpy x sunshine", "soulmates" and "friend to lovers" tropes. Which is very cute.

Lyney gives you special passes, to let you backstage (or even onstage) whenever you want

Lyney always makes sure to always know your seat number, this way he always knows where to look

Lyney teaches you signals. “If I do this trick, it’s me asking you if I did alright okay darling?” He says it’s for “feedback” but in reality he just loves your praise (and praise in general)

The moment the show is over, he’ll be real cringe and dedicate the show to his family AND “to my lover, y/n!”

He meets you backstage, and gives you a rose after every show.

You help him pack up and leave with him together.

“Stay still Lyn…”

You muttered as you were helping your boyfriend get ready for his show. He chuckled and cupped your cheek as you tried to apply eyeliner to him.

You were currently in his dressing room, sitting on his lap in front of the vanity table.

“You’re so beautiful mon Cher… even more so up close…”

He whispers, causing your cheeks to grow quite a deep shade of red.

You say trying to ignore what he said as he closed his eyes, to help you while you help him with his makeup.

You said as you got a different brush to lightly put some blush on his cheeks.

“Smile”

You said, to help you put on his blush easier.

Lyney smiled, keeping eye contact with you.

“Do you want to see a magic trick?”

“You have an hour and thirty minutes to show me later love…”

“But I want to show you…”

He frowned, he was being more affectionate than usual today because he had been busy with missions and wasn’t able to see you.

“When I’m done with your makeup okay?”

You muttered, putting away the brush.

“Fine…”

He said, wrapping his arms around your waist as he pulled you closer on his lap.

“I’m putting glitter on you okay?”

You asked, your cheeks slightly red while you carefully placed some glitter on his eyelid

Once you finished, Lyney kept his eyes closed and pressed a small kiss to your lips.

“Sorry mon Cher, couldn’t wait”

He chuckled, before moving some hair out the side of his bang so you could help draw the teardrop on.

“Youre so cute like this…”

He said as he tucked stray hair in your face away.

The moment you finished drawing the teardrop, Freminet called from outside the dressing room.

“Shows starting in 5…”

He muttered.

“Alright what was the trick you wanted to show me?”

“Mmm never mind, I’ll just show you after the show so you have something to look forward to…”

He placed his chin on your shoulder, before hugging you tightly

“Lets just stay like this, I love you.”

Slow Dancing

the night was cold and crisp as the wind blew across your face. you scrunched up and slightly shivered at the sudden change in temperature, taking hold of your skirt so it wouldn’t billow up into the wind.

a hand pulled you into a body and you looked over to Lyney, giving you a sweet smile in return, “look, they’ve started their dance again!”

he pointed down to the two dancing mekas, spinning and dancing with cold precision. the two machines glided across the pristine floor, the gentleman spinning the fair maiden around him, then took her hand and the two began to glide across the dance floor in a simple yet captivating way.

you were always enchanted with these machines, how they emitted such a cold energy, but danced with such romanticism despite being metal instruments themselves, “they’re so graceful..”

Lyney looked at you as you leaned forward toward the machines, then slinked into your view. he took your left hand, pulled your waist toward him slight and look a step forward.

“will you do me the pleasure of a dance, ma chérie?” he asked.

you squeezed his hand and let him spin you around, taking steps forward, to the side and back before spinning you once more. you grinned, soon beginning to giggle as you did your best to mimic the machines, feeling Lyney’s naturally warm body begin to warm yours from the cold.

“you’re an amazing dancer, love!” he praised with glee

you scoffed and rolled your eyes playfully, “i’m just following you, Lyn.”

Lyney twirled you around him and pulled you close to him, letting your bottom lip touched his before he spoke.

“you are perfect, Y/N, everything you do is perfect; even dancing, no matter how clumsy you may think.” he said, sifting his hand through your locs, letting you dip back and pulling you into a soft kiss.

I was on a stroll through the city and thinking about Sleep Token, as you do, and realised I need them on a red carpet ASAP in formal wear. Hear me out:

Vessel is wearing a suit, but no shirt underneath since he doesn't know what a shirt is. He's just wearing the jacket and trousers with upper chest/collarbone area exposed with either some golden runes painted there or just minimal jewellery

ii is very classic in a three piece suit because dude is sophisticated

We all know iii would absolutely slay a red carpet because they have an impeccable sense of fashion and it's gonna be something extravagant (let's be real we all want to see iii in a dress or skirt but I'm happy with whatever)

ivy will also go classic with all black shirt, trousers and jacket because he's allergic to colour. Maybe some rings or golden accents. But he's worn a nice jacket on stage and looked stunning as always so I know he'd look amazing and his look would be something the ivy girls, gays and theys would not survive (okay, we wouldn't survive any of the bands outfits)

They'd obviously still wear masks and everyone apart from iii would have to figure out what to do with their hair and how to cover it but that's a problem for later

Espera will obviously also be there because how could they not. They are goddesses and would slay a red carpet

Mattie would look stunning in a midnight blue gown

Lyns maybe in softer cottage core vibes

Because I’m not tired and my brain is going a million miles a minute because Tim f-ing Minear decided to drop some more stills.

Season 6 ending with Buck in a relationship and Eddie asking Marisol out for coffee. Obviously with three cruise ship episodes, there might not be a time jump for 7x01. However I think Tim is editing 7x01 and hence some of the stills. And he said they just cracked the seal on 7x04 so these stills are definitely not from that.

I theorized Marisol wouldn’t be around long. Some people think so (I do however love the idea of her playing a stalker. It would be amazing. We did call Jonah from day 1) but I don’t.

It’s a basic reset for new viewers.

We do know everyone recovered by the end of season 6, so this could tie into that.

My angsty AF theory is that Buck doesn’t know why he’s flailing with Eddie going out with Marisol. He’s been very involved with Natalia at the end of season 6 and therefore could think “I might need to take a step back from the Diazes.”

Buck hasn’t really dealt with the trauma of dying, of his coma dream and thinks if someone came back, then maybe he should date them. And he’s probably feels Eddie slipping away if he’s spending time with Marisol and Buck dives into the relationship with Natalia.

In this still, it seems like they are still in sync at work. Probably putting out a fire and rescuing someone. This feels like the conversation in Jinx about Eddie running into Ana. They are bumping shoulders so they could be talking about relationships.

Somewhere between this still and these stills below, something happens. That something makes Eddie work out hard enough to sweat which we have only seen maybe three times. Once when Buck was being a brat, another during the fighting and again when he’s on the treadmill after transferring. But for the most point, he only does this when he’s anxious or mad about something to do with Buck.

My angsty AF theory is that Buck really stepped back on their friendship and him being there for Chris. Eddie is still affected by the lightning strike and suddenly Buck isn’t there anymore. Whether it’s to give Eddie time to date or to spend more time with Natalia, Eddie is going through it.

He saw a life without Buck and he knows it sucks but he doesn’t know how to properly say that to Buck. And we have the puppy eyes where Buck asks if everything ok with Marisol and maybe just maybe getting a hint that something is off with him and Eddie.

These stills are reminiscent of Buck’s speech about Ana and Eddie’s lack of feelings and panic attacks about her. Except maybe this time, Buck starts to realize there might be more to this.

Obviously Eddie is getting advice from Bobby but the last time he asked advice in this type of setting, it set him on the path towards Ana. Maybe this time Bobby’s advice is a little more direct.

Then we come to this still with Buck and Chris.

This is not an usual still between this two. This speaks of tension and Chris maybe mad about something. And Buck looks like he’s trying to explain something. (Lyn��s color theory works well with this). Maybe he tries to explain why he hasn’t been around and tries to apologize for not being there.

It also relates back to Chris almost losing Buck. This kid has been through a lot but Buck has been a constant figure in his life for years now and Buck promised he would always be there.

So if it seems like Buck broke the promise and Chris is possibly taking it out on Eddie and Eddie is at a loss, then Buck finally gets it through his head that he doesn’t have to step back.

And he tries to talk to Chris about why he wasn’t around.

Obviously they all need to just talk to each other. Especially about the shooting, the will and the lightning strike.

Lastly we have this still. (I’m on Team Buck here)

Maybe before the Chris and Buck still or after, Eddie finally caves and tries to let Buck know he is wanted and can come around whenever.

This should grab is also reminiscent of Eddie telling Buck there is no one he trusts more with Chris. It echoes the same exact feeling of “You are my family no matter what. You’re part of Christopher’s family no matter what.”

Despite the redemption of shitty parents in season 6, I hope Tim really gives us the found family feels we fell in love with. More so with the Buckley-Diaz family and how much Eddie has invited Buck into his and his son’s life from basically day 1. (Ok like day 7 but I digress).

I don’t think Buck is gonna allow Christopher to be injured physically. I think it’s going to play out in emotionally injured way because he would accidentally do that again.

And for the love of God, go to therapy.

The concept of the FL ending in a narrative and trying to fight it as it fights back is my jam, Li Yitong is ridiculously underrated and I am glad it looks like she’s getting her time in the limelight and LYN has never been in a drama where I didn’t love him.
