okay so, i had a thought. WHAT IF the kingdom our babies were in was attacked, so like people were raiding the villages, SO mr konig has to fight people off and is like 'oh wait, the pretty nun lady' and he like runs off to help her escape the monastery and he goes absolutely crazy on the way

also he fights with a mace + his bare hands

and hes like bam bam bam and then he gets to her and is like soo so so gentle. im cryng

The contrast!! The blood staining his hands and clothing versus the gentle way he approaches our dear nun, like she's a frightened animal and he worries that his appearance alone may scare her off. But that would never happen. She's the one taking the church steps two at a time to reach him before pushing herself into his arms because "i was so worried." Clutching a rosary in her hand that she refused to let go of ever since she heard that they sent him away to defend the villages. Blood staining her habit but she welcomes the feeling because that means he's here, he's safe and his large hands envelope her like a welcome home. To so many he looks like the devil, but she gazes up at him and says that God has answered her prayers for his safe return. That notion alone is enough to shake his very foundation, nearly falling to his knees before her at the kindness she has shone him. "You prayed for me?" "Every waking moment."
