Both of you ended up hurting each other and everything just got out of hand. It wasn't really like this all the time. Usually both of you would just talk it out and come to a conclusion but this was different.

Both of you were having a bad day and just ended up putting it out on each other. You couldn't take the shouting and the fighting anymore. You were so tired you couldn't put up with it anymore. You decided to walk away from him shutting the door behind you and locking yourself in the bedroom.

I did start a wip a while ago about pregnant sex-- i know, but I stopped cus I dont know how to make it not sound weird like I really wanted to touch upon pregnancy hormones a d what it was like being pregnant with Halo compared to what it was like being pregnant with the twins and I started doing a bunch of research about it and what's normal, abnormal, and like the nuances about arousal during pregnancy even from the husbands side of the ordeal and how emotions can really be on high during the second to third trimester

There also another I started kinda on the whim a little bit ago that's like angst/hurt comfort which is more about the complications during the pregnancy w the elder twins and Rio reacting to everything that's happened so much so fast after the birth because the pregnancy w the twins was miserable and not the best experience cus it was a high risk pregnancy mostly in part due to being pregnant with twins especially fraternal twins and it being your first ever pregnancy on top of them being twins, so the birth was not an easy or fast process, I also did a bunch of research on the complications that can happen during birth and the circumstances if one was to die during birth, you definitely do live but I needed to know the extent of how much pain I can put you through, I also searched a bunch of medical terms and recovery processes for after a complicated birth and recovering from surgery, it's pretty much Rio working through his emotions cus yeah he just became a dad but you were also unconscious for a scary amount of hours and did a lot if the post birth bonding without you there next to him, it's a little darker than stuff I usually write but one of the reasons I love my little au so much is I be doing some goddamn research on shit I will never experience(I don't wanna be pregnant ever in my life)

And then there's "Two pairs of twins" I think I started it idk I don't think I did, but it's about the dynamics between the oldests and the youngests, the elder twins and the younger twins, Adephagia and Gulliver watching the toddler Dylan and Eliana pretty much like damn I can't believe we're 16 apart and making a joke about neutering their dad because they cannot fathom the idea of their parents ever having sex but also, I touched on this in Prince and Princess but cus they're getting older they're more distant than they once were, they're still close but they're now burdened with more responsibility and stress because they're the oldest and one of them would one day succeed their father on the throne but because of you and your magic of dear lady vane until one of their manifest ancient magic it's not clear who exactly would be taking the throne. Talking care of their baby sisters is kinda like how they bond, you know? they're just regular siblings and not heirs to a throne, also the girls are really cute, they fight over who looks more like who cus Dylan and Eliana are also fraternal twins💀

Theres also another idea in my head that simply just have not written down but it's been in my noggin since I posted Prince and Princess and it like the other side of that like it takes place on the same day but kinda from Halos perspective like it goes through Halos day while the elder twins are getting fired for their first adult sized royal finery and like it kinda just introduced Halos little crush on Thoma, nothing comes of it cus Thoma is obviously way older and known her since she was born but it's just innocent little schoolgirl crush, you know how it is shes 14 and Thoma is nice to her kinda like how young girls would have a crush on their teacher, Halo helps him out with some of his tasks and stuff, just like how in prince and princess there was a Theo and Atlas cameo, there would be a Genesis w the younger twins cameo, I think that would be cute♡

anon who said she’d read chapter 3 after the enha concert here!!! once again, the chapter was so good!! i was actually impatient and read it before i started getting ready to go to the concert 😭 yn’s gc with giselle and karina had me deadddd. ALSO jay would talk you through it omggggg 😵‍💫😵‍💫

as for the concert it was AMAZING!!! other than having to rush a little bit to get ready, it was the first concert i’ve been too where everything went smoothly for me. we made it early, got inside super fast as soon as doors opened, got merch fast, and we were able to use the restrooms and eat properly in no rush before the show. even getting home was quick and easy (getting home from nct 127 was an actual mess for me so i have a little bit of trauma) 😭 anyways i think the universe anticipated how much i wanted this so it made sure everything went well.

as for the acc concert, I LUV ENHA SO MUCH ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 our view was right in the middle so we were able to focus on the actual stage too rather than just the big screens and jfc they’re so in sync it amazed me. like even other groups are in sync too but enha’s choreo is so hard and the setlist was so physically demanding it was crazy to me that they’re able to make it seem so easy. THEY WERE SO STABLE TOOOO. enha best performers of 4th gen me thinks!! they’ve really proved their talent since they’ve debuted and i’m so proud!!! sunghoon mentioned some of the members were feeling a little sick cause of all the weather changes 🥺🥺🥺 yet they were all so happy and energetic and cute during their ments 🫶🏽🫶🏽 the production value was also crazy, the coffin shaped screens and stage was so creative tbh even if it’s one little detail. lighting and all went crazy too and made things so fun. you can tell money was put into the tour. i may be biased towards them but definitely my favorite kpop concert so far for sure!! just love enha sm 🥰🥰🥰 i only feel the same way for like two other groups, i’m selective af

as for the members omg HYUNG LINE HAD ME DEADDDD, they’re so fine. as a jay girly i already was screeching everytime he showed up. he just has this attractive aura surrounding him 24/7, oooooh i want him so bad 😫😫 BUT JAKE AND HEESEUNG OOOOOOH. jake was my og enha bias and has been my second bias since jongseong took the number one spot, but i think he’s fighting for number 1 again he’s just sooooo fine i was ready to get on my knees for him. everyone was down bad for him oof. heeseung is so sexy when performing jfc his expressions and energy 😍😍. sunghoon’s face card was crazy and he’d just show up on camera and id just be like how are you able to look like that. i almost passed out during that one move in sacrifice where he runs his hand down his body. jungwon is so cute, i’ve always seen him as my son even tho he’s like only a year younger than me 💀 but he was so cute during the ments especially when speaking english 🥹 sunoo is such a pretty man i cannot believe he’s real. ni-ki’s stage presence is so crazy. a true performer. he got so many cheers during the performances, but he deserves it. that’s my son fr and he deserves the world!!! overall they’re amazing performers, every member really shined through at some point and i’m so grateful i got to see them. i’m actually so close to buying a nosebleed ticket for their second show tn and going to just take in the moment without recording or worrying about what i’m wearing and all. i really hope they go to europe soon so you can see them!!! 🫶🏽🫶🏽❤️‍🔥

another thing i kinda wanna rant about. it’s so annoying that kpop concerts have become about interactions and videos. ik that people already say this on twitter so much but it’s so true!!! everyone on the floor was just recording the whole time. i get it to some extent because enha is soooo close to you and i’m v grateful for those super close up videos at every concert. but even enha said they love it when fans dance along. even tho i recorded most of the concert i kept my phone lower and made sure i was also taking in the concert from my own eyes and dancing alone (basically multitasking lmao). even enha was like we love seeing the fans dancing and having fun, but poor boys cannot see that on the floor (which probably are the only fans they can see clearly with all the lights on them). and when pola love came on and they went down into the crowd you’d just see crowds of people running towards each side of the barricades it was crazy to see from the seated sections fr, i was like uhm 😀😀😀 even girls from the seated sections ran down towards the seated section barricade to see them just a little bit closer, i was like girl….🙄🙄 even on twitter people talk about how it’s always the same ppl at send off and they never move for other people to even just greet enha. when i went to ateez in early 2022 they didn’t have an extended stage and tbh at this time the only fanservice done was during encore. the energy was so much diff and everyone was genuinely having so much fun. i guess it leads to more funny moments and feeds the delusion a little with kpop idols being more interactive with fans now but sometimes it seems as if ppl aren’t there for the actual concert aspect but to get their little moment with the idols. still the energy was amazing during a lot of the songs and i’m still so happy ☺️☺️☺️

Ya know after reading the latest update with zenitsu and ayame conversation, marriage came up and i was kinda mildly surprised that ayame and even Tanjirou wouldnt be the type to marry. Granted their pretty young already to be thinking that long term, especially with death being just around the corner with their missions. I guess maybe after everything was over or even in an au where non of this tragedy happend, i would think tanyame would be up for having a big family, like legit 5+ kids 😂 OHHH if they did, what kinda parents do u think they would be like? Parents headcanon??? 🥺

(btw zenitsu, very relatable and we would totally flip a shit over drinks about tanyame, more so tanjirou the little blockhead)

i think that ayame and tanjirou don't have the capacity to think about marriage at the moment. i mean, in canon, tanjirou wasn't even sure if he would live long enough to cure nezuko. his desperation, i feel, is due to that. he doesn't want nezuko to be alone, and he doesn't want her to miss too much.

tanyame have always been a lesson in duty above all else. they have both individually set aside so many of their own dreams by joining the kisatsutai, so naturally, both of them don't think of marriage. this makes me very sad bc yeah, they should be married and have happy families - preferably with each other!

zenitsu has only even known tanjirou and ayame after they became demon slayers. they've both firmly set aside any dreams of a simple life at that point, so he only knows them as the driven, training-obsessed individuals that they are now. even when we go back to early in the fic, when they talked about their ideal types, both ayame and tanjirou spoke about it as if it was already part of a past that isn't theirs anymore. it's kind of a reminder that zenitsu, as much as he can hear a lot of things, doesn't really know their past. After all, he still thinks that they were childhood friends that played together and were always found together, but that never happened. it was only after okutama that they became closer, and after - or during - final selection that they became the tight-knit pair he was introduced to! i like that he forms a lot of misconceptions of their relationship ^^ if u ask me, inosuke probably has a better view of what ayame and tanjirou were and are to each other, because he isn't blinded by zenitsu's ideals!

anyway! that got a lil sad, so tanyame parent headcanons under the cut! (there are so many...)

- i can see ayame as being the laidback parent, the one who is calm in the face of any familial calamity. i mean, we know that she'll be panicking on the inside, but outwardly she will be very calm

- meanwhile, tanjirou is totally the panicky parent. he's the first to react when something happens - be it a baby crying for seemingly no reason, or a child's first fall - and it'd be a big reaction

- their kids wouldn't have any problem talking to their parents about anything, but they definitely have one that they prefer over the other. the eldest kids would feel more comfortable going to tanjirou, while the younger kids would always turn to ayame

- ayame would be the scary parent though. she's the sterner one

- but tanjirou is the one the kids would hate to disappoint

- like ayame would scold them and it'd feel bad, but tanjirou would just smile sadly and they'd feel rotten on the inside

- i can imagine they'd both be on the same page for a lot of things. as demon slayers, they were partners, after all! which means trying to pit kaachan against touchan won't work. at all.

- the kids rarely see them fight seriously; those were usually done behind closed doors so the kids wouldn't see

- look. we all know tanyame would be lovey dovey af. pet names fall from their lips as easily as their names do, to the point where, when the eldest kids were learning to talk, they'd follow their parents and call tanjirou "sunshine" or "darling", or ayame "sweetheart" and "love" instead of kaachan and touchan

- the younger kids would be more embarrassed than their older siblings about how affectionate their parents are, though. i can't imagine tanyame will stop with the pda even when they're married with kids

- anyway tanjirou teaching all his kids hinokami kagura while ayame watches. that is all.

- they're both the fun parents. if tanjirou is too busy to play with the kids, ayame will chase them around and vice versa. they're both super into having play time with the kids! when both parents are free, u know the house is gonna be filled with delighted shrieks

- ayame and tanjirou are both the sole inheritors of family arts, but i think the kids will lean more towards charcoal burning than blacksmithing. they'd be kamados, after all. (don't worry, i won't let the higuchi forge die either 😤)

- if ayame brings out the koto, u know she'll have a captive audience in front of her - children and husband. the image is so cute that i'm in tears 😭 😭 😭

- i also like the idea that the kids get to see their parents' silly side when the whole squad gets together! they get to see their calm kaachan go a lil nuts when zenitsu and inosuke are involved, and touchan becomes even more ungovernable bc i still believe nezuko holds the sole brain cell in the squad

- although they get anxious when inosuke rough houses with ayame for... reasons. to them, kaachan is the more delicate of their parents. again, for reasons. but come on, kids, ur mum is a former hashira

- the girls would definitely inherit ayame's ability to feel embarrassed when embarrassing things happen tho. just imagine the kamado ladies doing full-body cringes when smth embarrassing happens in front of them. for the greater good

- also u know if anyone breaks ayame's babies' hearts, she's gonna calmly bring out her katana and start polishing it while tanjirou has to frantically remind her that arson isn't actually a solution to anything (sanemi and tengen are a terrible influence on ayame)

- dad with a shotgun? no, no, kaachan with a katana. if u can't treat any of the kamados right, ayame will remove ur kneecaps without hesitation

- i bet the kids think tanjirou is the introvert while ayame is the extrovert, until they see their parents in a party situation and realise that ayame is dying inside when all these people talk to her while tanjirou is thriving

- okay there are a lot of hcs already but sometimes ayame and tanjirou will dance around the house with the radio playing in the bg and the kids have all seen it and quietly hope they can do that with their future s/os too

summary: after your late night walk with ki, he wanted to plan something nice with you to show you how much he loves you since he can’t express it much in words!

you re read nikis message.

“something nice.” is what his description was on what you had to wear for this surprise he wouldn’t tell you about.

the weather was nice and sunny, so you took at as your chance to wear your flowery white dress, and a light yellow cardigan just incase, you put your hair up and decorated it nicely with hair gems, as you waited at your apartment for niki to arrive.

and before you knew it, a knock at your door jolted you up, you gasped as your face lit up, running to your door and opened it immediately.

revealed to you was niki with a white tee shirt and light blue jeans, he held a tiny camera in his hands, he smiled as he eyed your outfit. he chuckled softly,

“ah- so pretty..” he mumbled, you giggled“thank you.” you giggled, he grabbed your hand and niki made a motion to go, you nod and closed your door and you two walked out the building.

the bus ride was short, you guys arrived at a very nice looking park, not a lot of people and a lot of field, “whoa! this is so pretty where are we going?” you ask niki, he just raised his eyebrows and held your hand again leading you to your surprise.

before you knew it, you guys were slowly approaching a blanket displayed on the grass underneath a beautiful oak tree, with a basket and two plates, you gasped and ran over to it, quickly settling on the floor to examine everything.

niki smiled and sat across from you, “oh um- inside..” he pointed to the basket, you opened it and saw a bunch of fruits and sweets, as well as a note, you grabbed it and opened it,

you felt your heart melt at the note, you held it to your heart and frowned, “i love it so much. thank you- you didn’t have too.” you giggled,

“jake hyung helped me with..” he points to the paper, you figured, jake probably just wrote whatever niki said in english, the hand writing was too good to be true (SORRY STOP.) but you loved it either way- the words were from niki.

“it’s okay, i love it, youre amazing.” you nod quickly, he flipped his hair to hide any blush from you.

you began to take out the food from the basket, as you two enjoyed the sweets, you noticed niki kept staring at you, so you swallowed the strawberry and furrowed your eyebrows at him, he snapped out of it and quickly looked down.

“is there something on my face?” you ask, he raised his head and replied with a ‘hm?’ and shook his head,

“you’re..” he cleared his throat. “you look- you’re really beautiful.” he poked his cheek with his tongue, and you smiled in relief, “i’m so, happy to.. to be with- no no.. to be HERE with you.” he nod, as his boxy smile made presence proudly at his words (that jake taught him before he left to get you).

you smiled softly at his cuteness, “thank you ki. you’re so sweet.” you flash your smile at him and he quickly looked down to stop himself from smiling like an idiot.

he then grabbed a grape and held it up to your mouth, you accepted but you decided to joke around and slightly bite his finger.

“yah! y/n!” he gasped and you giggled at his reaction, he feel into chuckles as well before quickly grabbing his camera and flashing a photo of you.

making you gasp, “ew no! i probably look horrible! retake retake!” you reach for the camera but he quickly raised his long arms (sigh) so of course you couldn’t reach it.

you stood up but he stood up quicker, arm still raised, “nishimura!” you put your hands on your hips and he raised his eyebrows at the sudden name. he held up his index finger before pulling out his phone.

he typed away something before you heard, “if you want the photo deleted you have to catch me.” you tilt your head before he started off in a sprint running towards the rest of the field.

you gasped, “niki!” you quickly began to run after him, what was up with you always having to chase this boy?

due to niki having longer legs, you were no where close to catching up, you stopped to take a breath, looking up he was out of sight?

“wh- AAH!” you screamed as you felt someone behind you picking you up, you noticed it was niki when you smelt his familiar scent of cologne.

“put me down!” you giggled trying to escape his embrace, mistakenly your foot hit his thigh, making him fall down on the floor with a slight groan, with you still in his arms,

you guys were full of giggles in laughter as you laid beside him on the grass, you turned on your side to face him, and so did he as you two calmed down from your shared laughter.

“i want..” he breathed out, but cut himself off and looked down at the grass under him, “you want what?” you grab his cheek making him look back at you.

“i want to- i have something.” he held up his index finger, sitting up, you followed him as he pulled something out of his back pocket.

it was a mini flat box, “what’s that?” you ask him. he smiled softly, “i really want-ed, to give you this. i had it for.. awhile.” he looked up into your eyes, and you tilt your head.

he slowly opened the box, revealing to you was a pretty diamond looking ring, in the shape of a heart, words above the box you couldn’t read since it was in korean, you gasped softly and your hands flew to your mouth.

“ah let me..” he held the box up to his face, “too good memories.. promises. i confess my- my love to you. this ring will secure it.” he translated the best he could for you. he smiled up to you and took the ring out,

he grabbed your hand from your face and put it up to your ring finger, sliding the ring on, you felt tears swarm up into your eyes, you examined the ring the best you could due to watery eye sight, “ki..” you frown,

his smile immediately dropped when he saw the tears in your eyes, “nono.. what’s..” he grabbed your face, you just smiled at him and sobbed softly before throwing yourself in his arms,

he yelped quietly and caught you into a soft hug, “are you okay?“ he rubbed your back, “i’m okay.. i love it. i love the ring so much niki. i confess my love to you as well, if it wasn’t obvious.” you leaned back now in his lap and looked down at the ring.

he chuckled at your words understanding some, but all he knew was.. you felt the same way.

“it’s so beautiful..” you frowned, “it looks prettier on you..” he says slowly to not mess any words, he then cupped your cheek, and you melted in his touch, he leaned in softly, “is- sorry.. is this okay?” he asked, you nod softly, “yes..” you whispered and he smiled and pressed his lips onto yours,

he was your best friend. but now you could finally call him your lover. you couldn’t be happier with anyone else but him.

you guys let go of the kiss and pressed foreheads, smiling at each other,

“thank you so much. i really do love you so so much. today was absolutely perfect.” you wrapped your arms around his neck,

he wrapped his arms around you, his heart was beating out his chest, you were the love of his life the first day he met you, and confessing to you after a lot of talking with jake, went as perfect as he wanted it, maybe even better. he sighed to relief after getting that off his chest.

and since he didn’t have his phone. he decided to say it straight up this time, cheesy or not.. you were now his girl. he opened his mouth to say something which you never heard come from HIS mouth and not his phone-

“i love you too.”

"you really wore the shirt i got you?" sunghoon's face looked very much like the emoji in the last text he sent. you could feel a smile growing on your lips but you pursed it instead.

"mm. they were too pretty not to wear. how were you able to buy them anyway?"

"hey! that's a little hurtful. i bought them with my own money and my own savings." sunghoon huffed before turning to you and immediately grabbing the bag you were holding, gasping dramatically as he hauled the strap over his own shoulder.

"you always carry around these heavy bags when you film? damn. no wonder you haven't gotten any taller."

you just squinted at him and he knew that was his signal to shut up so when you started walking to your filming venue, he followed straight behind you much like a puppy following its owner.

thankfully, filming was very quick and easy. maybe it was because you still felt some kind of comfort around sunghoon. you were even a little scared he'd find you cringe-y but he was actually very supportive and would gesture you to go on everytime you stammered.

sunghoon wasn't gonna lie— it was tiring to be your cameraman. he doesn't know how your friend did it but he couldn't be more proud to see you be so good at your craft. sitting at the cafe now, you were busy babbling about how you could've done better in some of your shots, how your voice sounded, how it was annoying that you'd get distracted every now and then.

but all sunghoon could focus on is you.

your hair was longer now, you grew just a little bit taller, your voice sounded a bit different and he noticed mannerisms that weren't there before. he was glad you were too immersed because he knows he's giving major heart eyes to you now. but how could he not?

it's been a little bit more than two years of him wanting to meet you again and he's savoring every moment he has with you now.

"hello, earth to sunghoon? you still with me?" you laughed as you swirled your drink. "oh. h-hey. yeah, just.. thinking about the dance performance." he lied through his teeth, looking through the glass window while you smiled.

there was still some tension in the air and you knew both of you were aching to ask the important questions but for now, you were happy and so was sunghoon so you just laughed as he updated you about his life.

"oh god, i can't believe it's already 8.." you muttered as you stared at your phone. "are you going somewhere?" sunghoon asked after finishing his watered down coffee. "no.. i just have to work on a lot of things like e-mails and such. god, heeseung's gonna kill me." you whispered under your breath, but he heard it anyway.

him again. sunghoon knew he had no rights over you now, he accepted that. nothing wrong with admitting that it irritated him though.

he was itching to ask you to stay.

heck, he'd offer to answer those emails for you, edit the video for you even though had no fucking idea how to— but he kept quiet and watched as you hurriedly packed your bags and waved him goodbye.

"bye, bub." he whispered sadly and stood up to go home, kicking pebbles on the way back to his own dorm.

Yami along with a number of Black Bull members were out for a mission and it was taking longer than expected. You talked thru a communication device where it’s mostly just him giving you random updates.

“We followed the wrong trail for the an hour because I let Asta lead and forgot he couldn’t sense magic,”

“It’s raining on this side of the kingdom. How’s the weather there?”

“Babe, I wish I could be there with you instead of these dumbasses,”

These kinds of updates.

He was pretty proactive in keeping in touch with. You teased him that he was probably just bossing the squad members around which he strongly denied.

“When are you coming home?”

“No idea babe,” he sighed on the other end of the line. “I might have underestimated this mission. Old Julius didn’t warn me about the terrains in this area.”

You couldn’t help but worry about Yami. Even though had keen senses and sharp reflexes, he would sometimes act rashly, only relying on ki instead of his brain. The other members reassured you and kept you entertained which toned down your anxiety a bit.

“Hey, you’re quiet today. Everything alright?”

“Yeah i’m just worried about you and the members with you...”

“I’m here to assure you that everything is fine. The Black Bulls are all about surpassing limits right? You should’ve seen how the dumbasses surpassed theirs.”

Talks like this with Yami calm your nerves: him giving a detailed account of what happened that day and you updating on the state of the hideout and a brief rundown of your day.

One night, Yami and his crew finally made it back to the base alive and unscathed. It was already in the wee hours of the night but the hideout was still lively as ever.

“Y/N is already asleep,” Vanessa told Yami.

He nodded and commanded everyone to get some rest.

He entered your shared bedroom, mindful of his footing. He sat on his side of the bed and saw that you were facing his direction. He admired your beauty in this peaceful state. He pushed away stray pieces of hair out of your face and placed a short kiss on your forehead. He didn’t expect you to wake up though.

“Yami?” the twinkle in your eyes when you saw him could not be missed.

“Hey baby, I’m home.” he said softly. “Sorry for waking you up. I always thought you were a heavy sleeper.”

You rubbed your eyes then sat up. “Only when you’re next to me though.”

You crawled to his spot and hugged him.

He frowned. “You having trouble sleeping?”

“A bit yeah. Not really used to the coldness of the bed while you were away,”

“Aw...” he cooed. “You love me that much huh?”

You rolled your eyes. “Shut up,”

He laid down and grabbed you by the waist so you can nestle in his muscular arms.

“Worry no more, Yami is here to protect you from your nightmares.”

“I feel a lot safe now, thanks big guy!” you say rather sarcastically.

He chuckled. “I’m taking a day off tomorrow. It’ll be our day tomorrow. No disturbances from those shitheads.”

You giggled.

“But for now, let’s get some rest. I had to look after 4 dumbasses for a week straight. Do you know how fucking tiring that is?!”

You placed a light kiss on his lips. “Goodnight babe. I love you,”

“You really know how calm your man huh?” he teased but you didn’t react any more as you were slowly being taken over by sleep.

“I love you Y/N. Thank you for always waiting for me.”

Nozel

Work has been pretty heavy for the Silver Eagles for the past few months. This week they were given a particularly big mission, one that may last for a week or maybe even more. You were uneasy with the whole thing since he’s never been away from you for that long.

“It’ll be alright Y/N.” he held your hand. “I’m always careful, you know that. I’ll try to update you from time to time,”

In reality, there were little to no updates. Though every time he managed to talk to you he would always reassure you that everything had been smooth sailing. You had absolute faith in him, after all he’s the captain of one of the best squads in the kingdom (black bulls is the best of the best of course <3). With that, your anxieties slowly disappeared.

After a full week, a Silver Eagle member dropped by the Silva estate to tell you that Nozel and his team were on their way home. You were ecstatic upon hearing the news. You started cleaning the whole house, making sure everything was squeaky clean. You also washed and changed the covers of the bed.

The servants were mortified to see you, the wife of Nozel Silva, working around the house. The tried to convince you to just give them instructions and they’ll do the work for you but you were unstoppable. They eventually gave up.

Come evening, you cooked Nozel’s favorite dish, hoping you and him can eat dinner together. You set the food on the dining table then lounged by the sofa in the living room to wait for him. The servants came to check up on you but you reassured them and let them retire to their beds early.

Nozel arrived later that night, the house was silent and still. Nothing unusual except that the lights in the living room were still on. He came closer and saw you sound asleep on the sofa. You were curled up, one arm dangling on the edge of the sofa. There was an opened book on the floor which meant that you must have fallen asleep while reading. He kneeled to pick up the book then stopped for awhile to caress your cheek. You automatically stirred in your sleep and opened an eye to peek at who touched you. Your smile reached your sleepy eyes when you saw that it was him.

“Oh, you’re finally home.” you sat up and wrapped your arms around him. “I missed you. I’m so glad you’re okay,”

He kissed your cheek then nestled his head on the crook for your neck.

“As long as I keep you in my thoughts, I’ll always get through tough missions like this,”

After a while, he pulled away.

“Why are you on sleeping on the sofa? Is everything okay my love?”

You smiled sheepishly at him. “I was waiting for you, I didn’t think you’d arrive this late.”

He frowned. “You didn’t have to...”

“I wanted to Nozel,” you stood up and held his hand. “Come, I prepared food for us. You can deny it, but I know you haven’t eaten.”

“What? You should’ve eaten on time Y/N. I don’t want to see you get sick because of your poor habits. You know that I—“

You covered his mouth with your hand.

“Like I said, I wanted to. I always eat on time dummy, and besides, some little birdy told me you’re grumpier than usual when I don’t eat with you~”

He was blushing like mad. He cleared his throat and tried to act cool and unbothered.

You led him to the dining area and uncovered the plates on the table one by one. Nozel was surprised to see a full coarse meal of all of his favorites.

“You made these?” he said, carefully assessing the food in front of him.

“Yes. And before you nag, the servants did try to help me but I turned them down,”

“No no it’s not that it’s just.. I appreciate this. Thank you Y/N.” he gazed at you like you held all the stars in the galaxy.

You kissed the top of his head. “I want to do things for you too Nozel. You’ve done so much for me in all the years we’ve been together, let me do the same for you.” you whispered, your lips lingering over his ear.

He doesn’t know how you do it. He’s rarely vocal about his wants and needs but you always seem to read his mind. Nothing can stay hidden from you when it comes to him. It’s simple gestures like this that remind him why he fell in love with you and why he continues to be in love with you.

“I love you,” he whispered, just enough for you to hear.

You smiled warmly. “I know. I love you too Nozel,”

It’s been a few days since Fuegoleon and his team departed for a classified mission yet there was still no word from him and his team.

You were getting agitated each passing minute, pacing around the room even though you were supposed to be resting. You had “minor” injuries from a prior mission, which resulted in you taking a leave from duties against your will.

“I’m putting you on leave, Y/N. That’s final!”

“I only have minor injuries! Aren’t you overreacting a little bit?!”

You tried to keep yourself busy by reading or knitting or painting but your thoughts keep swirling back to Fuego. The servants who came to check up on you once in a while noticed how restless you were getting so they decided to make you a relaxing blend of tea.

“Lady Y/N we know how worried you are. Please drink this tea, it’ll help calm your nerves.”

They placed a large teapot on your bedside table then left the room. True enough you felt more at ease and calm enough to stay still.

The rest of the day went by like a blur. After dinner, you drank one last cup of the tea then went to bed. Fuegoleon was the last thought floating in your mind before sleep finally took over you.

“Y/N I know you’re upset you can’t come with me on this mission but you need rest. I want you to recover completely.”

“Okay, sorry I just wanted to join so I can look after you.”

“I’ll be fine my love. Salamander is here to look after me in your absence.”

“Just... be careful, Fuego. This bed isn’t big enough for two injured people.” you teased

Later in the night, Fuegoleon tiptoed his way into your shared room. He sloppily changed into his pajamas then quietly walked towards the bed. All the exhaustion he felt for days was wiped away in an instant at the sight of you.

He smiled thinking about how lucky he is to come home to you everyday. He traced the features of your face: from your forehead to the tip of your nose. You stirred in your sleep and scrunched your face. Your eyes fluttered open and there he was, right in front of you, safe and alive.

“I didn’t mean to wake you up I— oof!”

You threw your arms around him and held him tight, hot tears streaming down your face.

“I was so worried about you! I thought something had terribly gone wrong with your mission!” you sniffled.

“Hey, hey, it’s okay Y/N. I’m here now,” he whispered while rubbing circles on your back.

He cupped your face with both hands and wiped the tears with his thumbs. He sat on his side of the bed with his back resting on the headboard and wrapped his arms around you.

“I couldn’t keep in touch with everyone because the weather was pretty harsh and for some reason we couldn’t reach anyone’s communication device.”

“I see,” you snuggled closer to him.

“I heard you were quite jittery while I was away.” he said while stroking your hair.

“As everyone else. The Crimson Lions can’t lose you again. I can’t lose you again.”

He tilted your head towards him then kissed you passionately. He wiped the tears that were forming in the corners of your eyes.

“I’ll always come back to you Y/N. I promise.”

William

You had been grumpy ever since William and a small group of Golden Dawn members departed for their mission. You were supposed to be included in this mission but William instantly took you off ever since you found out you were pregnant with his child.

“Come on Will, let me come with you! I’m just a few weeks pregnant, I can manage!”

He sighed. “The answer is still no Y/N. I won’t be putting you in a situation where it can harm you or the baby. I can’t risk it.”

He was right of course. However, William has never had a mission without you. No matter how big or small the task is, you were always there by his side. Which is why your anxiety intensified each passing minute he wasn’t around.

He knew that you would be agitated without him so he promised to contact you at the end of each day.

“I hope you’ve been eating and resting well my love.”

“I’m doing fine Will. Some morning sickness here and there but other than that everything’s peachy.” you pat your stomach. “I hope everything’s alright there too.”

“I’m okay Y/N. You need not worry about me.”

These short talks every night silenced all your worries. His voice was like a lullaby to you.

“I’m really not used to not having you by my side. It feels... weird.”

“I know. This won’t last forever, we’ll see each other soon don’t worry.”

You did errands around the headquarters to pass time. By the end of the day you were exhausted so you decided to sleep early.

William arrived at the base in the wee hours of the night. He went straight into your room and climbed into bed, his own exhaustion taking over. He kissed you forehead and whispered an “i love you” before positioning himself for sleep. You however awakened by his touch.

“You’re home... I— We missed you.” you wrapped your arms around him tightly.

He chuckled. “I missed you too,” he kissed your forehead and placed a hand on your belly. “I’m sorry love I didn’t mean to wake you.”

“It’s okay, I’ve been a light sleeper ever since this pregnancy started.”

He frowned. “Have you been getting enough sleep while I was gone?”

“Yeah but it gets interrupted. I’m asleep all morning though. It’s probably a pregnancy thing.”

He hummed in response.

“I’m going to the doctors for a check up tomorrow. If you’re free, you can come with me.”

“I’m glad I made it just in time for that,” he gently rubbed your belly. “I’ll take a leave to accompany you love.”

You smiled. “The members have been coming up with baby names while you were away,”

He laughed. “Already? My my they’re more excited than we are,”

William started to yawn.

“Get some sleep love, we’ll talk more about this tomorrow.”

As if on command William’s eyes began to close.

“I love you Y/N. You’ll be a great mo..th...er,” he trailed off. You knew he was already asleep.

“I love you too. I’m so lucky to have you.”

Din rests his back against the stack of pillows, his glasses slip down the bridge of his nose. He holds his book in one hand as his other pushes his glasses back to their previous position upon his nose. 

Grogu is staying over at his friend Winta's house. It's the first time their little boy has been away from them. Din shakes his head trying to dislodge the thoughts of how quiet the house is. In his head he knows Grogu is okay, he's only just across the street. Winta's mother, Omera, has their number if there's an emergency or if Grogu gets too scared and wants to come home. But, in his heart, he’s worried for his little boy.

Behind the door that leads to the attached bathroom, the shower water turns off. Din slides the bookmark into his book and places it on the nightstand. He rests his head back against the pillows as the door opens. 

Cobb emerges from the bathroom, holding the towel snug around his hips. His easy-going smile falls softly from his face. Din knows he looks pitiful, like a kicked dog Cobb would say.

"Oh, honey."  Cobb coos, as he makes his way straight to Din. He lets the damp towel go, letting it fall onto the floor, and crawls naked into bed. Why does he have to look so pretty when Din is having a mini-crisis. 

"He's okay." Cobb sits on top of the covers, pulling Din to his chest to hold. Din turns his body toward his husband's warmth, buying his face awkwardly into Cobb’s neck. His glasses dig into the side of his face. 

"I know he is. I'm just trying not to think about the what-ifs." Din sighs as Cobb runs his finger through his curls. 

"Me too. He’s a tough little devil and I’m sure he’s not even worried about his two stressed old dads. Probably over there hopped up on sugar and causin all kinds of trouble."

“He takes after you.” Din mumbles with a smile against Cobb’s skin.

"Well, he's got your looks so we're even." Cobb places a kiss on the top of Din’s head. Din exhales deeply. 

"Feelin' better?"

"Little bit."

"Good, I gotta go put clothes on my ass is freezin." 

“What if you got under the covers with me and I kept you warm?” Din pulls his face from Cobb’s neck.

“Hmm, you’re just tryin to keep me naked.”

“Caught me red-handed.” Din rolls his eyes.

“You’re just lucky I’m the sheriff in town.” 

Din snorts and gives Cobb a little shove. The two of them pull away from each other, Din helps pull down the covers of the bed as Cobb scoots around to slip his long legs underneath. Din takes a few pillows from the stack behind him and drops them on the bedroom floor. He lays his head down on the single pillow and turns the lamp on the nightstand off. 

He turns toward Cobb, who gathers him in his arms to kiss him.

“Hold on, my glasses.” Din chuckles and pulls his frames from his face. Blindly reaching behind him to place them safely on top of his book. He returns to kissing Cobb again. He pulls the blanket up to their shoulders and runs a hand over Cobb’s arm and back. Mostly to warm him up as promised. 

Cobb burrows in closer to him, practically smashing their faces and bodies together. Din nibbles his lip in retaliation, careful baby. Cobb whines and slips a hand under Din’s shirt to rub across Din’s chest, sorry.

Din snakes his hand between them to cup Cobb’s growing hardness that digs into Din’s hip.

“Fuck,” Cobb gasps as Din gives him a little squeeze.

“Hm, not tonight I don’t feel like cleaning all that up. This okay?” Din brushes his nose against Cobb’s.

“Yeah yeah yeah.” Cobb chants quietly as Din starts to stroke him. Din moves his mouth back to Cobb’s, who opens his mouth to kiss him hungrily. Din moans into the kiss as Cobb slips a hand into his boxers.

“Good?” Cobb asks breathlessly.

“Real good, baby.”

The bedroom fills with hushed gasps and moans as the two of them kiss, stroke, and tease each other under the covers in the comfort of their bed. 

“Gettin awfully close sweetheart. You gonna cum with me?” 

“Not yet, but I’ll be right behind you.”

“Love you too.” 

Din kisses Cobb again as he feels him quiver in his grasp. He swallows up all his moans and cries until Cobb finally relaxes. Not once letting go of Din, Cobb starts to fist him in earnest making sure he gets there with him. It hits him like a crashing wave.

He lays there panting for air as Cobb strokes him through the last little pulse of his orgasm. He gives a little huff that Cobb takes as the signal to let go before he gets too tender. Cobb rolls away and reaches over the side of the bed for the towel he had on after his shower. Din watches him wipe his hand off and then his dick before handing Din the clean half to wipe himself off. 

“Do not throw this on the floor. Put it in the laundry basket, please.” Din hands it back with a sigh.

“Honey it's cold outside the covers.”

“Imagine how much nicer it’ll feel when you get back under here with me.” Din yawns and closes his eyes. Cobb mumbles something as Din feels the mattress move as he gets up. He counts to three and the mattress dips as Cobb rushes back under the covers with him. Din reaches out and brings him close, burning his nose into Cobb’s neck.
