Two horses have been caught, others are still on the loose in central London. I am working on it. They were last spotted at Victoria Station or Whitechappel. The horses are panicked, so if you are in the area better seek shelter and do not try to stop the horses, they could easily injure you.

“Have courage, dear heart, for there is nothing to be afraid of”
“The kingdom of God is within you” and in images rarely seen in the Western media, members of the Iraqi Christian community marked Palm Sunday.
Just last month, Al Jazeera reported how Christians celebrated the Divine Liturgy in Deir Mar Mikhael (Monastery of Saint Michael) in Mosul, for the first time in more than 20 years!
The residents of Mosul have lived with insecurity since the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003. In June 2014, the city was taken by IS, which held it till July 2017.
As one resident told Al-Jazeera; “After 2003, as Christians, we used to stay at home for long periods and deliberately not go to churches and monasteries because of the bad security conditions and threats to Christians.”
When ISIL controlled Mosul, many churches and monasteries were destroyed and many are still damaged, but are undergoing reconstruction and are being assisted by fellow Christians through organisations like Aid to the Church in Need.

UK farmers to protest against “tractor tax”
Police and organisers of a mass protest by angry farmers have been forced to move the event to Westminster because Trafalgar Square is not large enough to accommodate the number of people planning to take part.
The protest, due to take place on November 19, is expected to exceed the 5,000 to 10,000 people originally announced by Farming Forum.
The gathering of people from farming communities across the country is in response to Chancellor Rachel Reeves’ controversial decision to introduce a 20 per cent inheritance tax on farmland worth more than £1m for the first time since 1992.
Critics have warned that the new tax will lead to the destruction of family farms, which make up around two-thirds of the UK’s agricultural base. The issue was further fuelled after leading Labour MP John McTernan said the country does not need family farms.
The National Farmers Union (NFU) had planned a small protest of 1,800 people, but given the strength of feeling over the issue, the Farmers Forum organised a much larger protest in nearby Whitehall on the same day.
Organisers say the march will be led by farm children on toy tractors, “symbolising the impact of the devastating Budget on the future of farming and the countryside.”
Protesters are expected to be joined by celebrities, including Jeremy Clarkson, and politicians who will make speeches outside Downing Street. They will also be addressed by NFU president Tom Bradshaw, who has been highly critical of the government’s announcement.
The protest movement is back on
In March, farmers staged protests in central London against cheap agricultural imports, bringing more than 150 pieces of farm machinery to the site.
Through their protests, the farmers expressed their dissatisfaction with the low prices of agricultural products imported into the country, which prevents local entrepreneurs from doing business.
On Wednesday, France’s leading agrarian unions said they were resuming the protest movement. The first stage of the demonstrations will take place on November 18-19. Farmers demand that the French authorities abandon trade deals unfavourable for their own production – in particular, the Mercosur free trade agreement under discussion and the suspension of customs duties on food with Ukraine.

Ex-Southend teacher Jonathan Ullmer stripped of MBE
A disgraced former Southend teacher has been stripped of his MBE four years after he was handed a lifetime ban from teaching in England over accusations he engaged in sexual activity with a boy.
Jonathan Ullmer, who taught at Cecil Jones High School in Southend between 1989 and 2002, was banned from all classrooms in England in 2019 after an education conduct panel ruled he engaged in historic sexual activity with, and in front of, a male pupil.
Ullmer, 62, denied the claims and there have been no criminal charges since. However, the professional conduct panel ruled, on the balance of probabilities, he did engage in the acts and his conduct was sexually motivated.
Now, four years later, Ullmer has been stripped of his MBE by King Charles III, which he received from Prince William in 2014 for his services to education.
He is named among a list of people stripped of their honours, published by the Cabinet Office, which gave the reason for Ullmer's forfeiture as professional disbarment.
Mr Ullmer told the Echo: "I am saddened by these singular false allegations made against me and strongly refute them. I remain grateful to the many staff students and friends who continue to stand with me."
Specific details of what Ullmer did have not been included to protect the identity of the alleged victim.
After the conduct panel, Alan Meyrick, on behalf of the education secretary, stated: “I have concluded that a prohibition order is as the panel say, 'not only proportionate and appropriate, but essential' and in the public interest in order to achieve the intended aims of a prohibition order.”
He concluded at the time: “Ullmer is prohibited from teaching indefinitely and cannot teach in any school, sixth form college, relevant youth accommodation or children’s home in England. Furthermore, in view of the seriousness of the allegations, I have decided that Jonathan Ullmer shall not be entitled to apply for restoration of his eligibility to teach.”

The recent general election results in Britain saw a bumper victory for the Labor Party and a crushing defeat for Rishi Sunak's Conservative Party. After about 14 years, the Labor Party has come to power in Britain. However, a few days after the election results, riots broke out in the northern city of Leeds, England.

Doctor who had 'sexually motivated' and 'inappropriate relationship' with patient given warning
A tribunal found his fitness to practice is not impaired
A tribunal has given a warning to a doctor who was proven to have had a 'sexually motivated' and 'inappropriate relationship' with a patient he treated while working at The Park Hospital in Arnold.
Dr Hisham Maksoud was given a warning that will sit on his registration, but the tribunal found his fitness to practice has not been impaired because of his misconduct.
Patient A, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was admitted to The Park Hospital in Sherwood Lodge Drive in Arnold during March and April 2008.
It was proven that Dr Maksoud held Patient A's hand on one or more occasion when he visited her, inappropriately set up a personal email account so they could communicate and on one occasion tried to kiss Patient A in the car park of the Lakeside Hotel.
Following the allegations being proven or unproven by the tribunal, it then decided if Dr Maksoud's fitness to practice was impaired or not.
Dr Maksoud provided a supplementary statement on November 4, which included thoughts in relation to the actions which led to the allegations, along with a focus on righting wrongs.
He also gave evidence ahead of the determination.
The written determination into his fitness to practice said: "Dr Maksoud repeatedly expressed his regret and remorse in relation to conducting an unprofessional relationship with Patient A, and further recognised he had engaged in a seriously unprofessional personal relationship with a vulnerable patient.
"He stated he 'grossly regretted' his conduct, and he had let down not only himself, but his family, patients and colleagues.
"The tribunal concluded that Dr Maksoud's conduct fell seriously short of the standards of conduct to be expected of a doctor and therefore amounted to misconduct.
"The tribunal took note of the fact that 13 years have elapsed since the incident took place and was of the view that this episode was an isolated incident in Dr Maksoud's career."
The tribunal then decided if Dr Maksoud should receive a warning or not.
The written determination for that said: "The conduct was assessed as the required standard of a practicing doctor and a significant departure from Good Medical Practice (2006 edition).
"This conduct does not meet the standards required of a doctor. It risks bringing the profession into disrepute and it must not be repeated.
"While this failing in itself is not so serious as to require any restriction on your registration, it is necessary in response to issue this formal warning."
A spokesperson for BMI Healthcare, which runs services at The Park Hospital, said: "We expect the highest possible standards from the clinicians that practice at our hospitals.
"Dr Maksoud no longer practices with us."

UK ruling sheds renewed light on justice for the Yazidi’s
youtube
The UK has now formally acknowledged that genocide was committed against the Yazidi people in 2014. The UK ruling follows Germany, who found a Daesh fighter guilty of acts of genocide and crimes against humanity.
"We have made the historic acknowledgement that acts of genocide were committed against the Yazidi people. This determination only strengthens our commitment to ensuring that they receive the compensation owed to them and are able to access meaningful justice."
In 2015, the AMAR Foundation launched 'Escaping Darkness' - the first specialized mental health service for Yazidi women. This 2015 video also demonstrates AMAR's efforts within Iraq’s displacement camps, for those Yazidis who were brutally displaced by IS.
For more information on the AMAR Foundation’s work with Iraq’s Yazidi community, please contact AMAR on 0207 799 2217. You can also direct any questions to @AMARLondon on Twitter or make a donation here.
