Fareham is a large town of 115,000 people and is north of Gosport and sits between the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton on the south coast of England in Hampshire. William The Conquerors reserve army landed here in 1066. Photo taken with my Canon DSLR but I lost the photo data when I downsized it and I don't know how to stop that happening!?

Leadenhall by Roy Llowarch Via Flickr: Redesigned by the Victorians in 1881. Leadenhall Market dates back to the 14th century and is situated in what was the centre of Roman London. Originally a meat, poultry and game market, it is now home to a number of boutique retailers, restaurants, cafes, wine bars and an award-winning pub. Starting as the site of a manor, Leadenhall has survived changes in use, rebuilding, and even the Great Fire to become a popular destination for city residents, visitors and workers.

Rotunda of Mosta by Roy Llowarch Via Flickr: Rotunda of Mosta, The Church of the Assumption of Our Lady or Rotunda of St Marija Assunta. Sometimes called The Mosta Dome is a church in Malta. A miracle happened here during World War 2 when a German 500lb bomb smashed through the roof and into church floor in the middle of 300 worshipers. The bomb did not explode and nobody was killed or seriously injured. Beautiful building. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotunda_of_Mosta

Chinatown London
flickr
Chinatown London by Roy Llowarch Via Flickr: I love the China Town Soho area of London and always enjoy walking around this area of central London. There is so much to see in such a small area and I always meet new people to chat with. The Lotus Garden Chinese restaurant in London's Chinatown is easily my favourite Chinese restaurant anywhere. I really like Chinese people too

HMS Warrior (1860) by Roy Llowarch Via Flickr: A trip over to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard 4th of August 2021. Seen here is HMS Warrior. Warrior and her sister ship HMS Black Prince were the first ocean-going amour plated iron hulled warships in the world. They were built in response to France lunching the first ocean-going ironclad warship, the wooden-hulled Gloire

Wells Cathedral
flickr
Wells Cathedral by Roy Llowarch Via Flickr: Wells Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral in Wells, Somerset, England, dedicated to St Andrew the Apostle and seat of the Bishop of Bath and Wells, whose cathedra it holds as mother church of the Diocese of Bath and Wells. Built in 1176–1450 to replace an earlier church on the site since 705, it is moderately sized for an English cathedral. Its broad west front and large central tower are dominant features. It has been called "unquestionably one of the most beautiful" and "most poetic" of English cathedrals

Key West Sunset by Roy Llowarch Via Flickr: I am not very good at taking sunset photographs but here is one of my better ones that I found in one of my Key West albums stored on my laptop. I took this photo on the 24th of January 2005 from pier out the back of the now closed Atlantic Shores Resort on South Street in Key West. So I was on the Atlantic side of the island looking West to the Gulf of Mexico. I just took the photo without trying to zoom in as the photos I took using zoom are all pretty poor. I was staying at Atlantic Shores hotel for 3 months just resting up and getting very tanned. Photo in small size only as I foolishly downloaded lots of photos to discs!

HMS Warrior (1860)
flickr
HMS Warrior (1860) by Roy Llowarch Via Flickr: HMS Warrior. The last photos to be uploaded from this trip and back using my Canon DSLR. I notice that when downsizing photos the camera details are lost! Anyway I had an enjoyable trip around this beautiful old Ironclad Royal Navy Frigate. Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is well worth a visit. HMS Victory has no top masts at the moment which is sad but she is still a beautiful iconic ship. The Mary Rose and Mary Rose museum are an amazing part of English history. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Warrior_(1860)
