For the actual ask portion:

Altaïr would probably be annoyed at Uzui at first because he’s so flashy. They’d probably spar and Altaïr would start to respect him after understanding that, underneath all that ‘flashiness’, Uzui is strong and has conviction (side note: Uzui’s three wives makes me think Makio - Maria, Hinatsuru - Adha and Suma - Kadar XD)

Ezio would think of Sanemi as having skills and potential but he won’t like his attitude. AC2!Ezio would definitely butt heads with Sanemi a lot, especially after he sees how Sanemi acts around his younger brother (since he doesn’t know the whole story) and he’d definitely try to act like a nice big brother to Genya, Brotherhood!Ezio and Revelations!Ezio would not be provoked by Sanemi and act more like an older brother/mentor role that Sanemi doesn’t want at all and thinks is super annoying.

Haganezuka would totally like Ratonhnhaké:ton because Ratonhnhaké:ton would take care of any weapon he receives from Haganezuka. Ratonhnhaké:ton will also be willing to listen to Haganezuka talk about swords for houurrrss. Achilles would have to be the one to smack Haganezuka to get out of the homestead after giving Ratonhnhaké:ton his sword. (Why is Achilles there? Idk, crossover???)

All I can think of is Arno getting adopted by the Kamado family. Tanjuro is quite frail and he’s been sick for a while now so their meeting would probably remind Arno of his late father. But, man, just imagine Arno dancing Hinokami Kagura…

Oh god. Enmu would totally fuck with Jacob using his dreams/nightmares. Like, every pain and weakness Jacob has, Enmu would take advantage of it. Worst of all? Jack the Ripper's actions would definitely haunt Jacob till the day he dies so Enmu using Jack in the attack would really hurt. Enmu wasn’t even a good person as a human but considering Jacob’s luck and bad judge of character? Absolutely won’t be surprised if he invites human!Enmu to the Rooks as a ‘doctor’.

I think Bayek has a good chance of taking out Yahaba. Dude got an actual flaming sword in the main story and I’m sure Reda would have a weapon made of Scarlet Crimson Iron Sand and Scarlet Ore for some reason and, as long as Bayek understood how Yahaba’s blood demon art works, he’d be fine. Bayek took out giant gods (in the Animus), he can take out this demon.

Oh, Aya would not like Daki at all. She might even be reminded of Cleopatra a bit because of her arrogant and dismissive personality which wouldn’t help the situation. They’d definitely fight and… Aya would probably need help on this one. I’m not sure if she ever got into any Isu BS that ended in a boss fight so I can’t be sure how she would handle fighting Daki and her obi attacks. Human!Daki though? Aya would definitely recruit her and her brother to the Hidden Ones if she found them as kids. But if she saw her as her usual cruel self? Yeah, Aya’s not going to like her.

Okay, I don't know if you're still taking F.m.k asks but if you are, your opinion on Lindel from The Ancient Magus Bride, Magus from Disney's Gargoyles and Nahyuta Sahdmadhi from Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice?

I only vaguely know Magus, but it’s been many many years, so I’ll be basing all of these on looks instead.

Once a Hunter always a Hunter part 1:

Only a day since Cayde died, and the news was spreading faster. The Tower was way more silent than usual and that was usually never the case. Cayde left a hole. A hole that couldn't be replaced easily. The people who knew him best, like Ikora, Zavala, any other Hunter, Hawthorne, Petra, Amanda, Shaxx where devastated by him leaving. It took a bigger hit on Lunaria Lindell and Shiro-4.

Luna was the last person Cayde saw before going to join Andal and Tevis. She took matters into her own hands and left, hunting down the Scorn Barrons and their leader, Uldren Sov.

Shiro though... When Lord Saladin told him of the news, the Exo was devastated. He knew Cayde longer than anyone else still alive. Learning that his close friend, mentor, brother, was gone the previous day was heartbreaking.

Saladin put him off duty to let him think this through before returning to his scouting missions, by order of the Vanguard. Many other Hunter scouts did the same. With that Shiro left the Iron Temple and stayed in the Tower. After the funeral, his Ghost recalled the time how Cayde and his Ghost Sundance met.

"Cayde would have wanted us to laugh" it ended.

That was enough to make Shiro smile a bit. Remembering all the good time he spends with the old crew Andal Brask led with Cayde. The former Vanguards helped him get to know how to be a Hunter and well everything else.

During the next few weeks, Shiro would be very silent. Way more then when he's on assassination missions. People would ask if he was ok. He'd only respond "Yeah I'm fine. Really" with an obviously fake smile.

It's only when Luna returns with the Ace of Spades in her hands and the news of Uldren dead, that the Shiro started to feel like his old self again.

A week after she returned he was back in duty but limited to shorter scout missions then he's used to. Luna would sometimes go with him for some company and that helped both of them go through the struggle of losing their mentor.

He was grateful that she now has the Ace in combat instead of that traitor prince. But still, some things where gonna change. Hunters had to give the old Vanguard dare and after the death of both previous ones, it was hard to find someone to get to do it. Each time Zavala and Ikora asked Shiro to help him for this particular situation he'd always answer "Even if I try, the fear of losing another Vanguard, another friend, another brother or sister is there."

Both Vanguards knew how hard this was. There was once a time where there was no Hunter Vanguard for more than two decades. Hunters were wilder than they are nowadays and that used to be a problem for everyone else. There was no rush for it. Ikora knew how long it took for Cayde and Andal to do their dare and they agreed to it without fear. First time led to Andal getting killed by Taniks. Cayde was killed by Uldren yet left a message that whichever Hunter that kills him, gets the dare.

In the meantime of things, when he wasn't on a mission Shiro would take care of it till someone decides to do the dare. He hated it but it was for the best. He took care of Colonel and kept an eye out for Luna and her pranks she pulls with Amanda. Basically, Cayde's job that doesn't involve the Vanguard.

Word about Hunter Legend Cayde-6 being dead spread way wider then anyone would have thought. Knowing this Shiro felt uneasy about it. He felt as if at the right moment something big was about to happen. He wasn't sure if it was good or bad. One thing is for sure, that whatever, or whoever it was. It would be someone familiar to them all.

Like it's not gonna be Prince Peacock or anything am I right?!

Lunch time was a fun time when I was starting out in the business.

On December 15, it will be 51 years since I started my first job as a copywriter in the Motor News department at the Automobile Club of Michigan (AAA). I'll never forget stepping into the office I was assigned and those early days on the 16th floor of the United Artists Theater Building in downtown Detroit:

Nice desk. A phone with different levers for different "lines." And a big ol' Underwood manual typewriter. Also, when I looked out my window I could see a rooming house across the Fisher Freeway in the Cass Corridor with a sign that read, "If you lived here you'd be home now."

On my third day, Copy Service, the Club's internal printer, delivered business cards and a stack of small notepads to my office that said at the top of each sheet, From the Desk of Len Bokuniewicz. I felt so proud I took several home that night to show my Mom and Dad.

During that first week, I was taken out to lunch by one of the owners of FFD, an art studio that provided illustration, photography and type for the ads and sales literature we created. A couple days later, a representative from Ambrose Associates, another art studio, took me to lunch and picked up the tab. When I look back it seems as though my colleagues and I were treated to lunch by our suppliers about three times a week. The owners of the Auto Club's ad agency, the printer of our brochures, a representative of an envelope maker, and reps for companies that produced such things as "Bring 'Em Back Alive" bumper stickers, banners, litter bags and other types of merchandising materials we produced were always taking us out.

Moreover, every Friday, we'd walk across Bagley Avenue to attend the weekly Adcraft Club of Detroit luncheon meetings at the Hilton Hotel--on expense account, of course. And I soon learned that if I wanted tickets to see the Tigers, Lions or Red Wings play, all I had to do was ask one of the reps who called on us. Also, because AAA was a big advertiser on the Tigers flagship radio station, WJR, I got to climb into the broadcast booth perched above the infield at old Tiger Stadium and met legendary broadcaster Ernie Harwell.

It was heady stuff for a blue-collar kid from East Dearborn.

There were so many places we could walk to for lunch in those days: Berman's Chop House, the Gaslight, Victor Lim's, Checker Bar, the Sheik, Trader Vic's, Lefkofsky's Deli, Pontchartrain Wine Cellars, Qwikee Donuts, the Caucus Club, Stouffer's, Greenfield's, Lafayette Coney Island, Lindell AC, the Money Tree, all the restaurants in Greek Town and, on the most special of occasions, the London Chop House.

My personal favorite, however, was the Coach House. Bill, my boss, who was AAA's ad manager as well as Motor News' assistant department head; Stan, his righthand man; Barb, our secretary; and I often went there for burgers and drinks. I'd order the bar's outstanding ground round with melted cheese and grilled onions, accompanied by a couple of bottles of longneck Stroh's.

The bill was $2.30.

During the early '70s, drinking alcohol at lunch time was de rigueur. It was the era of the "three-martini lunch." Our hard-charging manager of the entire Motor News department, a former newspaper guy who headed up all communications (AAA's monthly magazine, publicity, traffic and road reports, etc.) did his share of Beefeater martinis on the rocks with an anchovy olive (before switching allegiance to Boodles Gin).

I never saw him stagger.

In 1980, when I got into the agency side of the business at Ross Roy, I was stunned by how heavily many of the creatives drank at lunch time. In fact, during my second week there, I recall an account guy coming back from Chrysler, our major client, with an emergency assignment, and the creative director phoning Andrew's Bar down the street to bring the team back into the office to brainstorm.

This was in the middle of the afternoon. What I observed--the heavy drinking, coming back to the office, cranking out stuff into the night--was a standard practice at advertising agencies back then.

Ross Roy moved to Bloomfield Hills in 1989; by the mid '90s drinking at lunch time had become considered bad form, not only at ad agencies but throughout the corporate world. I don't recall a specific directive prohibiting it, but "no alcohol" aligned with emerging business practices of the time to document "processes" and produce "efficiencies."

In the early 2000s, while in my mid 50s, I worked at both J. Walter Thompson and W.B. Doner. My creative partner, a talented art director, and I were ultimately fired at both shops as part of an evolving movement to get more work done with fewer people, while cutting payroll. By that time it was not uncommon to eat lunch at one's desk as assignments piled up. Rarely were creatives being taken out to lunch anymore by art studios, photographers, printers etc. It had become a far different world from my early years at AAA when practically everyone from every department (Underwriting, Sales Administration, Emergency Road Service, Domestic Travel, World-Wide Travel, Personnel, etc.) went out to lunch practically every day.

And yet, I'm not sure office workers were any less productive back then because of how our lunch hours were spent. We'd unwind, for sure, and talk about office politics, or how we'd spent the weekend, or the latest losing streaks of our local sports teams. But during my AAA days we'd also debate the communications strategies proposed by our ad agency. And during lunch hours at the Roy, I often picked up important "intelligence" about Chrysler from account people and creatives who'd returned from client meetings. Such inside information found its way into copy I wrote almost every day.

Today, during the Covid era, my four kids, young professionals in their respective fields, work most days at home and take breaks at noon to make their own lunches. Sometimes they use their lunch hours to walk the dog, check Facebook or throw something into the washing machine. It might be convenient, but the absence of daily interaction with humans would be difficult for me.

My kids tell me that they and their colleagues are more productive on the job than ever before. But are they having any fun at work? Doesn't sound as though they have much to me. In fact, most young people I talk to today complain about low company morale and always seem to have their eyes open for the next opportunity.

When I started working at AAA, a company founded in 1916, it had never experienced a company layoff. When I started working at Ross Roy, founded in 1926, it had never had a layoff, either. (That changed at both places in the '90s.) For decades upon decades, in the white-collar world at least, companies were generally loyal to their employees, and employees were generally loyal to their companies.

That all changed as my career evolved. It's arguable whether or not the business got significantly more productive. What's inarguable is this: I had a ball practically every day on the job at both the Automobile Club of Michigan and Ross Roy during my first 25 or 30 years as a creative in advertising. Having fun at lunch time was a big part of it.
