I can understand why people ship Jelsa (because of their frosty connection), but Bunnyfrost will always have my heart! It’s a delicious ship. Also, I think the relationship between Elsa/Anna is much more interesting than Jelsa.

So I recently rewatched Rise of the Guardians for the first time like since it came out and I just need to know why the everliving shit everyone was going on and on about Jelsa for so long when the occa bunny bloke is right fucking there with the best possible relationship arc with Jack

Someone begged for content on the klausper tag and who am I to not oblidge whith a spontaneous post filled with formatting and spelling errors about my Klaus movie smashed the rise of the guardians ideas.

So!

Klaus becomes a spirit, the spirt of Christmas, of wonder and most importantly a guardian. This gives him a new breath of "life" that slowly shapes him into the energetic man he is in ROTG. However he feels a little lost doing it alone and though he recruits little elves he finds they're not great workers and though the yetis are better when they join on he is still lonely in his early years in his every expanding workshop. He is partially re-united with his wife but she dosent often have form as anything but wind and once a little lost white haired spirit boy needs her help she is there less and less.

Klaus only sees his friend once a year as Jesper misses him, as Jesper's life goes on, as Jesper's relationship fizzles out, as he goes on as the postman that none knows reformed a town and helped create Santa Klaus himself. Jesper is well loved by the kids tho and he is always happy to help out with them, play with them, retail them with stories of Klaus. A silent hero. Til the end.

Its snowing, the kids are playing near the edge of a cliff off a path on the way to Klaus' old house. On the way back from visiting the old shack Jesper looks over to see the kids playing he is about to warn them to be careful when one of them pelts a ball into the snowy bank over them, thrown off balance by the throw and slips, beginning to fall over the edge. Jesper dashes forward, his old bones protesting, his hair now more white than brown, but still he moved quick as he ever had and dives after the kid as they fall. He grabs. The kid is in one hand, the ledge is in the other, he is clinging for both their lives. The drift above them that got hit by the ball is starting to slip, it could come down at any second. Jesper has to be quick. He does his best to reassure the kid and tells their friends to help him up and run. With all his strength and a massive risk jesper swings the kid up, the others doing as he instructed and running as fast as they can. Jesper struggles to get up himself but the slippy ledge slows him down a few seconds too long and the snow above comes down. Jesper is knocked off. He falls. His mind thinks a thousand things as he does and the last thing is how he hoped the kids were safe, how he hoped klaus was proud of him.

The wind batters into Klaus' workshop, its her, she's in a panic, through her whispers on the wind she tells him jesper is in trouble, he may meet his end soon. Klaus is immidately up and out, to his sled. He snowballs to the village he left so long ago as fast as he can, flying overhead, looking for his friend. The wind directs him down he lands to find only hand sticking out of the snow. Hes too late. After digging him out he finds jesper had died on impact, his spirit lingers in his body still, soon to be taken, but his body is dead. Klaus cries.

The moon rises.

As soon as Klaus feels the moons rays on him he looks to him and begs. "He still has so much to do! He's too important! He can't go! Not yet!" "He served his purpose in life" "You speak as if he could not do that and more in death!" "You are grieving, you do not need him." "I do! I have been alone and lost without his guidance! I manage but he was always the other half of me! Of the legend of Klaus! Please...let him have more, let him have what he deserves."

"...very well."

Manng agrees on a few conditions. Jesper will be tied to Klaus. Klaus himself, his legend, his workshop. Jesper will have free will to do whatever he likes in those confines. He will not be a guardian, he will be a spirit of Christmas, of presents, of creativity. He will be Klaus'.

The deal is made, Jesper's spirit rises from his body, formed into a new being, not alive and not dead. He is reborn. Jesper stands on the slow.

And immidately feints.

Klaus resolves to take him back to the workshop, hoping his old friend will not be upset and what he did for him.
