Nine Percent Scenarios My Brain Thought of based on the pictures My Brother Chose
Quick Note: so, since the first one did so well and I had several a lot of pictures saved on my Pinterest, I decided to let my brother chose which pic I should do a scenario of next XD Also, merry Christmas to those who are celebrating!! And sorry if some of these scenarios are well, not that good
Cai Xukun
CAN I FIRST SAY, WOW!! ONE OF THE FEW PICS I HAVE THAT IS ACTUALLY BRIGHT LOL, OKEY, ONTO THE SCENARIO
So, for this pic of Kun, I imagine that Kun had finally gotten a day off and booked a whole day just with you. Because he didn’t want to get disturb by the press (even though he loves his iKun), he invited you out for a morning sail. He even went as far as planned the whole day himself because he knew how much you would love it and how you were the one that normally do the planning whenever he got a chance to spend the day with you. Kun texted you the location and allowed you to wear any kind of clothing you’d like; even though he went the extra mile to wear a suit (BUT HEY, IT’S A SPECIAL DAY AND WHO’S JUDGING).
“No, don’t worry (Y/N). I didn’t wait that long. You look lovely, as always (proceeds to kiss the side of your temple)”
“Hope you’re fully rested, I have planned the whole day for us *wink wink*”
Chen Linong
OMO SOFT NONGNONG HAS RETURNED!! LOOK HOW SOFT HE IS!! UWU, I THINK IMMA HEAD TO DREAMLAND. EHEM, SCENARIO!!
So, for Nongnong, similarly to Kun, Nongnong finally gotten a day off to spend with you. So, Nongnong texted you, telling you to choose whatever it is you wanted to do which ofc, you were most excited for. You knew Nongnong for his sweet caring side and he would pay attention to every small details. So, to say you were shock when you found Nongnong waiting outside of your place the day of his day off was an understatement. But Nongnong was also shocked as you were because you looked absolutely stunning that Nongnong was just blankly staring at you; even when you were walking up to him.
“I didn’t expect you to come this early”
“Well, I didn’t expect for you to dress up. Not that I’m complaining or anything. You look absolutely stunning”
“Says the person who is wearing a suit today *giggles*”
“Huh? Oh? HAHAHA. C’mon? Ready to go?”
“Of course!!”
*insert Nongnong taking his elbow out for you to grab*
*also insert this author dying*
Fan Chengcheng
First and foremost, not gonna lie, this was one of the difficult ones to think about but I did think of one so here it goes!!
Alright, so for Chengcheng’s one, it may be a bit angsty (which I have never done, so forgive me if it sucks) BUT DO NOT FRET!! I THOUGHT OF A LIL FLUFF AT THE END!! So, I imagine that you and Chengcheng were best of friends. You were friends since junior high up till high school (right before he had to go for idol producer). Even though he seemed quite distant due to the rise of popularity, you were one of the only friends he still kept in contact with. His reasoning is because you weren’t like the other girls in the school who tried to get his attention to either date him or maybe even use his (okie, his sister)’s fame.
He may be a busy man nowadays but you guys still managed to talk; even till this day. Little did you know that there was another reasoning to why he still kept in contact with you, that he would spend just a little time to reply to you even if it is just a simple, “how are you?” or “how have you been doing?”. Because Chengcheng actually had a little crush on you right before he had to leave to compete for idol producer. Unfortunately, when he found out you had been going out with this guy you met at your campus, his hope of you having a crush on him was literally crushed.
To say Chengcheng was disappointed was not really true. Sure, he was broken but he partially blamed it on himself for not being brave enough to tell you how much he cared for you. Because of this, his actions even changed. He would rarely be seen in his happy state and would rarely make jokes. Even mama Ting was concerned for his well-being because he has been a mess ever since he found out. He even talked with you a whole lot less than he used to. Not wanting to reply you for a few days has been a new habit of his.
It wasn’t until one-day that mama Ting told him that he needed to go out and pick some groceries since his fridge was practically empty and he has been instant noodles (too often) for the past 3 months. Despite being lazy (especially, no thanks to the rain), Chengcheng finally pulled in the little will-power he had left and went to get the groceries mama Ting asked for. However, what he didn’t expect was on his way back home, he saw a familiar figure with a hoodie, walking right past him in the rain. Thankfully, he managed to caught a glimpse of the face and he was shock to see it was you.
The cheerful girl he knew back in high school, the one to always nag about his health (aside from his mom and mama Ting) was now walking in the cold rain with just a hoodie to shield herself. Chengcheng had no idea what had gotten to him that he decided to pull you under his very own umbrella.
All the sadness and frustration was washed away and was switched with worry. He asked you what’s wrong yet you didn’t dare to tell him and just let him know that you were fine. MISTAKE! Chengcheng finally stood up for himself and managed to bring you back to his place where mama Ting was waiting for.
After arriving back at his place, mama Ting was nearly going to scold Chengcheng for being so long until he saw you, dripping wet from top to bottom. So, mama Ting just let out a huge sigh and immediately “forcefully” (gently) pushed you to the bathroom, telling you to take a hot steamy shower as he was preparing dinner.
Once you were finally done with your shower and changed your clothes with some of Chengcheng’s clothes (aka big hoodie!!), you came out to both Chengcheng and mama Ting in the kitchen, slightly bickering. Noticing you were finally out, Chengcheng nudged you to come and sit by the countertop as mama Ting poured three bowls of soup with rice.
Though you were not ready to tell anything to Chengcheng, you were more than grateful that he brought you to his home and to Zhengting for cooking. Also for both boys not to pressure you to say anything. Once dinner was over, Zhengting excused himself to head back and told you that you should stay at Chengcheng’s place for a bit and if you wanted to go home, Chengcheng should take you home.
After Zhengting left, Chengcheng let you relax in the living room as he was going to shower. Whilst Chengcheng was showering, you looked around his apartment. Amazed how much he has changed from when you both were still in school. Though, he still made some mess just like back then. However, one little portrait caught your eye. It was an old photo of both you and Chengcheng when you both performed for your school’s talent show and won.
Suddenly, Chengcheng was out of the shower and changed into his pyjamas. He mentioned that that picture was one of the few pictures from his school day that he still kept. He mentioned that it was a precious day and meaningful to him. He then mentioned how he was extremely grateful to have you as his friend even till this day. Chengcheng then suddenly apologised for being a bit MIA the past weeks. He said that something came up and he had been quite busy.
Hearing what Chengcheng said about you made you decide to tell Chengcheng why you were walking through the streets in the rain. You told him that your relationship hasn’t been going well and this morning you found out that you were cheated on. So, you decided to just leave to who knows where fate may bring you. Listening to everything you said, Chengcheng felt even dumber for ignoring you the past few weeks.
Not wanting to hear about your ex, Chengcheng pulled you into a hug whilst you started to sniffle. Stroking your hair gently, Chengcheng finally admitted to you how he ignored you the past weeks because he was heartbroken that you were dating someone else. He then also admitted you that he has been having a crush on you right before he left to compete in idol producer. You then also admitted to him that you also had a slight crush on him but you didn’t think it was possible because it was the Fan Chengcheng here.
“Well, looks like we have a lot of catching up huh? But first, I’d like to find that bastard who hurt you”
WOW, THIS TURNED OUT A WHOLE LOT LONGER THAN I EXPECTED BUT I HOPE YOU LIKE THIS
Justin Huang Minghao
Alright, another slightly difficult scenario to make. Big thanks to my brother for choosing these pics :’) Anyways, I hope this scenario will be alright. Here it goes
For Justin’s scenario, I imagine that both you and Justin were playing in an escape room and the theme of the escape room was in an abandoned building/abandoned club. Both of you were going through it with no problem. Though both of you were scared by some of the npc, Justin had no problem with the situation and was more concerned of your well-being. However, when the situation came and the both of you were separated, Justin wasted no time in finishing his mission and finding you. But as it turns out, it was an ambush from a gang. This pissed Justin even more as he was part of a “gang” himself (*cough* 9% *cough*). When Justin did manage to escape, he found the gang and put a stop to them before they do anything much worse; also finding you and making sure you were alright.
“Never leave my side ever again (Y/N). I don’t give a damn about the rules because your safety is way more important than winning some game (insert Justin grabbing your hand and both of you walking out of the escape room)”
Lin Yanjun
OMO WHY IS IT THAT ALMOST EVERY PHOTOSHOOT YANJUN DOES IS JUST DAMN GOOD?! ALRIGHT, I SHOULD STOP RAMBLING AND GET ONTO THE SCENARIO I PLANNED FOR YANJUN!!
You and Yanjun have been in a secret (not to y’all family and close friends) relationship. At first, Yanjun was worried that the relationship won’t last long because he’s a busy man and rarely shows his emotions well (not to mention that he and the 9% bois are in a gang) . Instead, thanks to you, Yanjun has opened up more, even if it is about something small like his favourite bakery was out of his favourite bread. And now, the both of you are in your first year together. The both of you had promised to clear out your schedule and spend the whole day together. However, little did you know that Yanjun planned to surprise you by visiting you a few days earlier before your first year anniversary.
Yanjun was more than happy to be able to clear out his schedule for the whole week and surprise you. He even planned out the outfits he would wear for the week and gotten you a little present. However, all those happy imagination was instantly crushed the minute Yanjun arrived at your place that he would normally call his second home. The second home Yanjun would come to, always had a warm feeling but this time, he had a bad feeling just by arriving at the front of your door.
When he was about to unlock the door with the key you gave him, it was already somewhat unlocked. Worried that something happened to you, Yanjun instantly kicked the door, not worrying about having to get it fix later on. The sight that Yanjun saw was not a pleasant one as everything was basically upside down.
Without thinking, Yanjun shouted for your name, bashing down any door that was in the way. Unfortunately, the condition he found you was not what he had hoped. At first, there were traces of blood starting from your bedroom and up till the connected bathroom. Worried that someone else may be in there, Yanjun got his favourite gock ready and opened the door slowly, revealing a dead boy on the floor with you hugging yourself right in the corner of your bathroom.
In an instant, Yanjun put his gun back in his coat, kicked the dead body away and hugged you, not caring about the blood that is staining his body and clothing from top to bottom. After cleaning the place and you (because you could care less at the moment that Yanjun was seeing you bare skin, well let’s say you’re wearing a swimsuit to keep it pg), Yanjun helped you got change and carried you to bed, tucking you in ever so gently. Soothing you and not leaving your sight until you have fallen asleep. Once you did fell asleep, Yanjun contacted Nongnong (who just happened to be around the area), asking Nongnong to look after you which Nongnong didn’t question.
It didn’t take Nongnong long to come and at the same time, Yanjun had gotten the location of the people who pissed him that night. Yanjun asked Nongnong to take care of you as he’ll be out and won’t be bake till around dawn which Nongnong asked what was he going to do and Yanjun just answered with “blood for blood” and headed out, bringing his favourite gun.
Once Yanjun had arrived at the enemy’s location, he wasted no time and got to work. Surrounding the entire building with gunpowder, Yanjun moved backwards to the entrance before the building before firing a bullet, getting the attention of the people within the building, who were armed with whatever weapons they had.
The scene was intense up until Yanjun pointed towards the ground, firing this gun towards one of the men’s arm fire and it created an explosion, which is exactly what he wanted. The men who were now surrounded by the fire looked up at Yanjun who was leaning by the wall looking at all the men who were running around, some trying to put out the fire while others were helpless and some were even just staring at Yanjun. Because, they realised that they truly had mess with the wrong person (and gang!!).
“Such a shame that you had to ruin my day. Oh well, since I was partially in a good mood, the police will come soon. You all won’t die. But you better watch out for who you plan to attack next. Who knows that I may appear again”
P.s, again, sorry for being so long but I can’t help it uhuhu
Zhu Zhengting
Right, another slightly difficult photo my brother chose but I am up for the challenge so here we go!!
So, for this scenario, it seemed that mama Ting was either out of a hotel or airport so I figure I’d do a scenario about that. Let’s say mama Ting was hanging around at the hotel which he had just got to from an event. He was just scrolling through his phone and social media whilst waiting for the hot water to heat up so he can shower. However, he suddenly saw an insta story (let’s say it’s an insta story because I hv no idea what China has) of a friend of yours. You did mention to Zhengting that you were going out with your friends to loosen up which he didn’t mind and just reminded you to be careful. However, in your friend’s video (which your friend was slightly drunk and accidentally posted the video) you were by the bar (NOT DRUNK!!) and a guy was trying to hit on you which you clearly was not interested. But the guy was persistent and even touched your arm. This was a big no no to our dear mama Ting. And in an instant, he grabbed his things and went out the door, heading towards the club you were at.
“Who does that man think he is?! (Y/N) was clearly not interested and even pushed him away. The nerve that man has. Can’t even call him a man for that. I’ll show him what a real man is”
Wang Ziyi
Alright, I know I hv been saying this multiple times but I think out of all 9 pictures, this has got to be the hardest one. But here it goes
I think for Ziyi (especially this pic), I feel that something happened to you. Like let’s say you suddenly faint whilst doing your job or you had a slight accident where a car crashed into yours or even something like falling down the stairs and all of course, resulting in you having to be hospitalised. Your loving and caring boyfriend, Ziyi was on his way for an event when he heard the incident and instantly cancelled going to the even, rushing to whichever hospital you were in. After seeing you and was ensured by the nurses/doctors that you only had a minor injury, I feel that Ziyi would go to a quiet area and rethink about what happened and how he felt bad he couldn’t always be with you 24/7.
“Poor (Y/N), if only I can take her with me all the time. Or if only I can clone myself and teleport myself like Naruto”
SORRY FOR THE SLIGHT ANGST
Xiao Gui
Don’t worry, Xiaogui’s one won’t be about angst or yandere-ish kind. Instead, it’ll be slightly similar to the Yanjun scenario I did on the first part.
So, the 9% bois have finally gotten their hands on the opposing enemy who were caught at a bar (shockingly thanks to you because you were part of the 9% gang and you knew about the gang they were after). It was on your day-off and you were letting loose with your best friends who you haven’t been able to hang around with for quite a while when you saw the opposing gang that 9% were trying to catch just waltz into the bar you were in. Immediately, you took a snap and sent it to the group chat you were in. The bois not wasting any time and telling you to keep an eye on them whilst they were on their way.
As you were sipping on your drink whilst paying a close attention, you didn’t notice that one of the men went right next to you, trying to get your attention. You were taken aback when he fake cough and tried to do some pick-up lines which did anything but amuse you (or perhaps because you were used to Yanjun and Justin’s pick-up lines). As if on cue, the 9% bois made their entry and you hurriedly grabbed your friend and was about to leave the scene when some of the men grabbed you and your friend, now turning you to “hostages”.
Unfortunately for them, you knew some self-defense skills whilst being with 9% and managed to grab your friend out of the place. It wasn’t long before the 9% bois also got ahold of the situation and ahold of the men as well. And because you and Xiaogui were the first to hit off well when you met the bois, you both develop some kind of bond; which led him to be pissed when the opposing enemy grab ahold of you.
“Since you like to play around so much. How about we play one of my favourite games? Let’s see how long you can last”
You Zhangjing
Can I first say, wow, You Zhangjing looks so good in this pic. Look at that slight messy hair, his soft gleaming eyes, tinted lips and that suit <3 Alright, onto the final scenario
For this one, I was thinking of a lil drama. Let’s say you had this high school reunion dinner at a fancy restaurant and you were allowed to bring dates. So of course you brought your food loving boyfriend, You Zhangjing. You told Zhangjing about the event and without any doubts, Zhangjing immediately agreed to accompany you and even told you that he would pick you up on the night of the dinner.
Long story short, on the night of the dinner, You Zhangjing kept his promised and picked you up. Once both of you reached at the restaurant, almost everyone in the restaurant (even those who were there as normal clients, not your high school friends) were in awe when they saw both you and Zhangjing came in together, hand in hand. Mainly because you weren’t that popular in high school, you were just an average student with average scores who was lucky enough to got a chance to work with You Zhangjing and eventually became his girlfriend.
Of course you greeted your best friends and their dates, not forgetting to introduce them and Zhangjing. Dinner was also good, the food was amazing, you even reconnect with some of your high school friends. Everything was going well up when You Zhangjing told you that the both of you had to leave early due to an early schedule you both had the next day.
As you were excusing yourself to your friends and their dates, one of the mean girls from back in high school decided to end your wonderful night by “accidentally” poured her drink onto you. At first you were about to shrug it off and just excused yourself to leave. But when she started to comment about how you were just using You Zhangjing’s fame and popularity for yourself, always trying to make everyone pitiful of you, that crossed the line for you.
Sure, the both of you never really hit off well, but you never really held a grudge against her, despite the fake news she spread about you. You knew that after high school, no-one would care about it and even would forget about it; which is why you always held it in. However, now, as an adult who has been through so much to get to where you are, you were finally stepping up not just for yourself but for all of the other people she bullied.
You didn’t talk trash nor did you exaggerate what she had done back in high school because that’s not who you are. Instead, you told her that you actually felt sorry for her because she couldn’t accept the fact that there will always be other people better than she is and that instead of becoming the best version of themselves, she would throw out her tantrum to those who she think are inferior to her. With that, you walked back to your boyfriend who was standing in awe, clapping his hands before taking his elbow out for you to hold.
“I’m so proud of you baobei!! You tell em who’s boss!! Wanna go home and watch some movies whilst we eat ice-cream?”
“You just read my mind Zhangjing”
*insert Zhangjing pecking your cheek* UWU
Hope you like these scenarios, I know some are longer than others and I hope that I would do more longer ones. Anyways, merry Christmas all!!

imagine pocket-sized yanjun trying to peep as you shower. You’ve been so drained from back-to-back classes that you didn’t notice when the little guy snuck in with you.
“Nice singing, Y/N.” His comment making you jump.
Cheeks burning, you find him smirking with his hands covering his eyes.
“LIN. YANJUN.” You instinctively throw your soap bar at him.
“Y/N,” he wails as he falls from the impact. “You really mean to kill me.”
And you don’t have to see him to know what he means by that.

Vacation Ch 7
Miu woke up the next morning with a smile. She gazed up at Xiao Gui who was still asleep. Miu placed a soft kiss on his lips, waking him.
“Baby…” he groaned huskily. Miu smiled softly at him.
“Morning~” she whispered. Xiao Gui smiled at her sleepily. He placed a light kiss on her lips, making her blush.
“What time is it?” He asked.
“About 7am. Go back to sleep Kaikai.” She said. Xiao Gui looked at her.
“You’re not going to?” He asked. Miu shook her head.
“I’m going to do a little bit of yoga before taking a shower. My body has been really sore due to preparations for our comeback.” Miu said. Xiao Gui looked at her with a soft gaze.
“Baby, how about you do yoga a bit later? I wanna get a workout in tonight too. The guys probably wanna join me.” Xiao Gui said. Miu pouted.
“I have a performance tonight.” Miu said. Xiao Gui smiled at her cuteness.
“I’ll give you a massage after your performance. I don’t want you overworking yourself baby.” He said. Miu nodded before sitting up.
“Where are you going?” He whined at the loss of her warmth. Miu smiled at him.
“Im going to take a shower and then I’m going to make breakfast for you guys.” Miu said as she walked toward his closet where a portion of it was filled with her clothes. Xiao Gui looked at her with a soft smile. He loved seeing her in his clothes.
“Baby, wear one of my sweaters and a pair of leggings.” He suggested. Miu nodded and opted for a burgundy hoodie and black leggings. She then went into the bathroom that was inside his room and began to start her morning. Xiao Gui took a look at his phone and decided to get started on his own morning. He choose his other burgundy hoodie and a pair of adidas joggers before going into the bathroom that was in the hallway.
The boys woke up the smell of waffles and fresh fruit. Miu had opted for a western style breakfast since there wasn’t much to work with in the fridge. Xiao Gui helped her prepare the waffle mix and wash the fruit. The boys came out toward the kitchen after doing their morning routines. ZhengTing and Wenjun halted in their tracks when they saw Xiao Gui back hug Miu who was cutting up fruit. Justin and Yanlei looked at each other. Not knowing if they should come out or not. Luckily for them, Xingjie and Yanjun walked down the stairs.
“Oh? It’s our little Xiao Xiao couple.” Yanjun teased. The two looked at him with smiles.
“Hey Xiao Mei.” Xingjie greeted. Miu smiled at him. The boys slowly walked out.
“Hello.” They greeted the girl shyly. Miu smiled at them.
“Hi.” She said with a bright smile.
“Get your own waffles and bacon.” Xiao Gui said as he set a big plate of freshly made waffles on the table. Next to the plate was a plate of bacon. The boys looked at Miu and smiled thankfully.
“Miu, just dump Gui now. Marry me.” Yanjun said as he ate. Xiao Gui looked at him with a glare.
“Go away.” He said, making the boys laugh.
“If only you can confess to Jennie Jiejie like that.” Miu said. Yanjun blushed while Xingjie and Xiao Gui bursted into fits of laughter.
“But I love you~” he teased Xiao Gui who smirked back at him.
“Yes. Say it like that. But to Jennie Jiejie.” Miu said. Yanjun pouted.
“Oh yeah, Miu said she has a performance tonight. Pretty sure the other Guardian members will be there.” Xiao Gui said. As if he had cued it, Miu’s phone started to ring.
“Jiejie~” The girl greeted her sister.
“Hey. We’re gonna have the performance at around 9pm. We have two photoshoots before that. One for the new album and then one based on different concepts. Show in around two hours?” Aria said.
“Okay~” Miu said cheerfully.
“Tell Linkai that the boss wants him to be there for the photoshoot. He says he wants Linkai to be your partner for the photoshoot since you guys are dating. It’s gonna be a cute, couple theme for you two.” Aria said. Miu looked at Xiao Gui.
“Okay. Are you partnered with Jennie Jiejie?” Miu asked.
“Yep, we have a sexy theme. Our unnie line has a fresh, girl next door theme.” Aria said.
“Okay. By the way, Xingjie gege and Yanjun gege are here along with the Fantasy Restaurant cast.” Miu informed.
“Oh. Put me on speaker.” Aria said.
“Done.” Miu said. Aria smirked.
“Lin Yanjun, grow some balls and confess already. Stop being a beta.” Aria said. Yanjun blushed while Xiao Gui and Xingjie laughed.
“Alright I’m out. Deuces.” Aria said before hanging up. Xingjie quietly pulled out his phone and started to text his girlfriend.
“Kaikai~” Miu said as Xiao Gui kissed her cheek.
“Yeah?” He said.
“Boss wants you at the photoshoot later… you’re gonna be my partner… he wants couple pictures.” Miu said shyly. Xiao Gui smiled. He loved the idea of the world knowing that she was his.
“Okay. Can’t wait.” Xiao Gui said as he back hugged her. Xingjie and Yanjun looked at each other. Yanjun wanted to call Jennie his while Xingjie had to find a right time to let the boss know that he was ready. He debuted already. It was time for him to tell the world about him and Aria. The Fantasy restaurant boys looked at each other.
“Um… Miu, can we come and watch your photoshoot?” Jeffrey asked. Miu nodded.
“Of course. But aren’t you guys filming today?” Miu asked. Xiao Gui shook his head.
“They’re giving us a day just to rest.” Xingjie said.
“Really? Hmm, Xingjie gege, you have to come to our shoot then!” Miu said. Xingjie nodded with a laugh.
“Of course.” He said with a smile.
The boys along with Miu were outside of the photoshoot site. Xiao Gui held Miu’s hand as they walked into the building.
“Yah Song Miu!” A girl called out. Miu looked up with a smile.
“Rita Unnie!” Miu said excitedly. It was Rita of the Guardians.
“Ready for your shoot? Ari and Jennie are getting ready for theirs right now. Dude your sister is a bagel girl. Like my lord.” Rita said. Miu looked at her confused.
“Bagel girl?” Miu asked.
“Like her face itself is innocent but like… her body is something else.” Rita said. Miu laughed.
“That’s true. Where are they?” Miu asked.
“C’mon.” Alice said, leading them toward the photoshoot room. Jennie and Aria were getting briefed on the details. Miu ran up to her members.
“Miu~” Mira said with a smile. Aria patted her sister’s head. Jennie smirked when she saw Xiao Gui.
“Ready?” The director asked Jennie and Aria. The two girls nodded.
“Okay can I get Aria first?” The photographer asked. Aria walked over and began to pose. The boys watched in awe. She was in a black leather jacket and black skinny jeans that was ripped. Under her jacket was a cropped white tube top. It showed off her abs along with the right amount of cleavage. Jennie was in a white bodycon dress with pink detailing. Over her dress was a black leather jacket. The two girls were posing next to a black convertible.
“Next outfits please.” The director said. Aria changed into a white cropped tank top along with light blue ripped skinny jeans. Jennie changed into a white bodysuit and light blue booty shorts. This time the girls were posing with a window. Jennie sat on the window sill while Aria stood next to her, back against the wall.
The girls soon changed into more daring outfits. Jennie sported a white night romper that hugged in all the right spots. It was made of lace, showing off her amazing figure. Aria sported a strappy lacy black bra along with matching boyshorts. She wore an unbuttoned, white button up shirt over it. The girls were on a bed, next to each other.
Xingjie met eyes with his girlfriend as she posed. He smirked at her, making her bite her lip at the camera. Yanjun couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Jennie was sexy. He always knew she was, but to see her like this made him go crazy.
The girls ended their portion of the photoshoot steadily.
“Damn our middle line has some nice ass bodies. Like look at Ari, nice ass tits. Jennie got a perfect ass.” Mira teased the two girls.
“You two should be the ones doing the sexy concept. You guys are the older ones. How the hell did it turn into me and Ari?” Jennie said.
“Because Ari’s image is already sexy. And you fit the sexy concept quite well.” Rita said as she touched up her makeup.
“I guess.” Jennie said with a smirk before walking toward the door. It was then that she noticed the boys.
“Oh hi.” She said with a bow. The boys were shy as she was exposed. Jennie looked toward Yanjun with a smirk.
“Hey Junnie~” She said, giving him a hug. Yanjun gulped. He froze upon her touch, making her smirk grow.
“Hey Jennie…” He said. Jennie frowned due to his lack of enthusiasm.
“What’s wrong?” Jennie asked. Yanjun shook his head.
“Nothing… you’re just gorgeous.” He said. Jennie looked at him, skeptical. She said nothing though.
Aria walked over with a smirk. Xingjie welcomes her with open arms. The girl went into her boyfriend’s embrace.
“Too revealing baby.” He whispered, kissing her temple. Aria sighed in content.
“I know. But it’s for a concept. Jennie and I got put into a sexy concept.” Aria said. Xingjie pouted, making the girl laugh. His pout soon turned into a soft smile. He had missed her.
“Huba ge, I’m gonna steal Ari real quick. We need to change into our clothes for the album.” Jennie said. Xingjie released Aria. The two girls quickly walked toward their dressing room.

Hello and welcome to My9Percent! This is my very first scenario on this blog and of course it features my favorite person. I swear it wasn’t meant to be so long but I couldn’t help but to run along with the story line. Please feel free to request, as requests are very, very open right now!
You looked at the brassy door marker and then at the string of numbers in the email. 8817. This looked about right. You took a deep breath and knocked. Even though the agent had been kind enough to give you your pair of the keys, you still felt like it was courtesy to wait for an invitation into your new home.
A few minutes passed and you were about to raise your fist to knock again when the doors opened and a beautiful girl peeked out. Her hair was in slight disarray and she was wearing a long button down. “Oh hey. You must be the new roommate.”
You gave a small smile and held out your hand. “Hi.”
She shook your hand quickly and opened the door wider. “Come on in. Make yourself at home. Your room is upstairs. Yanjun’s room is that away,” and she pointed vaguely down the corridor. Ah. That made more sense. You had thought your roommate would be a guy, given the name but couldn’t help but have your hopes up when you had saw her.
“If you need anything, just call,” she gave a tiny wave and then she was disappearing down the hallway and opening the door at the end of it.
It didn’t really bode well for the future of your co-inhabitance when your roommate had sent his girlfriend out to greet you rather than come out himself but you shrugged it off. You weren’t really here to make friends. You had to focus on your new job, and friends would come in the form of neighbors and coworkers anyway. His was just a convenient place to stay, and at this price, you weren’t about to complain that the main resident of the house didn’t want to make his appearance.
You had thought dinner would definitely be a time to see him, but you were mistaken. Instead, you saw the same girl rummaging through the fridge, her dress shirt riding precariously up her legs. “Everything all good?” she asked as she bit at a carrot stick.
“Yes. Is there a shared bathroom?”
“Oh yeah. It’s by the hallway down your room so it’s convenient. Just so you know, Yanjun likes taking long showers, usually at night, so I’d go earlier.”
“Thanks.”
She shrugged and gave a quick wave again. “See ya.”
You would have spent the rest of the night wondering over this mysterious roommate but you had to prepare for work the next day, and a new environment always made you slightly jittery. When the clock struck ten, you decided you were going to turn off the lights, play some music instead and allow yourself to fall asleep.
The next morning, you smelled coffee as you stepped lightly down the stairs. There was a tall male standing by the counter, watching the drip drop of the coffee machine. He turned to you and you smiled. “Hi.”
“Hello, are you the new move-in?” He had a soft-spoken voice and a megawatt smile. His hand, which he held out to you, was strong and he had a firm grip. “It’s great to meet-”
“Babe!” And before you could even exchange names, he was giving you an apologetic smile and grabbing the steaming mug of morning wakeup call with him. So that was Lin Yanjun. You didn’t dare turn to stare but couldn’t help but grin. It was a shame he was taken.
That was the one and only time you saw him. Taking heed of his girlfriend’s words, you made sure to rush into the showers at six so that any vestige of steam would air out by the time he padded in for his thousand year baths. Despite your curiosity, every time you heard movement downstairs, you resisted the urge to take a peek. It was weird, this hiding from your roommate. But there was something awkward about the fact that he never voluntarily tried to know you and that his girlfriend was always around. In fact, you saw her more than you’ve seen him.
Life became routine as you settled into the home and into your job. One night, you had worked extra hours and were downstairs, nursing a hot cup of tea as you waited for dinner to heat in the microwave. Keys turned in the door and you turned to see a stranger.
He was pulling in a silver suitcase and straightened when he saw you. “Hey,” he smiled and you noticed how deep his dimples were. “I’m Yanjun. Are you the new roomie?”
A thousand alarm bells were ringing in your head. This was Yanjun? “H-hi,” you stammered as you blurted out your name and stayed in your seat. He came forward with his hand outstretched and you couldn’t help but think of the other bright-smile man whom you had greeted a few days earlier.
“Sorry, I was away on a business trip and just got back. I hope Yiwen showed you around?”
Yiwen. That was the girl. You nodded and threw a nervous glance at his closed door. Things were starting to piece together and you desperately wished you were wrong. “It’s a late night. You haven’t eaten yet?” He was still asking you questions but your head was screaming. If things were what you suspected, he wouldn’t be smiling like this any time soon.
“Oh yeah. I worked overtime. Where did you go on your business trip?” You cringed. That was a much too straightforward question to ask someone you barely knew but you needed time. You spoke loudly, hoping the couple inside the room could hear and do something.
Yanjun smiled. “I work with a tech company so this time we went to California.” He stifled a yawn and grinned apologetically. “It’s been a bit of a flight and I do have to go in tomorrow. I’ll talk to you tomorrow, get to know you properly?”
“O-of course.” You watched with a sinking heart as he flashed you another grin and started walking away. You grabbed your bowl from the microwave and walked upstairs, shutting the door so that you wouldn’t hear the drama that could possibly ensue in the next few seconds.
“Are you fucking kidding me?!” And that’s when you knew, as soundproof as the walls had been the last few days, it wasn’t enough to cover someone’s anger and hurt.
“You have to let me explain,” you heard Yiwen cry, but he cut her off. “Really? My best friend?” You winced. It was a bad drama playing in front of you and you wanted nothing more than to not be there. It took a good half hour for the front doors to slam close and seconds later, you heard a glass shattering on the floor.
It wasn’t your place but knowing the pain of betrayal too well, you couldn’t help but feel for your new roommate. You tiptoed down the stairs, peering over the railings to see that he was slumped in his chair with a beer on the table.
The chair made a squeak when you slid in but he didn’t react. Silence fell onto the room, punctuated every few minutes by a loud sniff. The clock on top of the oven clicked minute by minute until finally, Yanjun looked up.
“I’m assuming you knew. You must have met Zhengting.”
“I- I didn’t know who he was. I thought-”
“That he was me?” There wasn’t any anger in his eyes, and if anything his lips quirked into a wry grin. “Figured. You never asked for his name?”
“I only saw him once and he didn’t tell me his name so I just assumed.”
“Must have been quite a shock when you saw me then.”
It amazed you, how calm he was. His eyes were red and his nose was swollen but other than the tear streaks on his cheeks, you would never have guessed what had happened just an hour earlier.
“It’s probably my fault.” His hands began to play with the beer bottle; his fingers twirled it so that it tipped precariously. “It’s been conference after conference the last half year. And you know what they say. Loneliness usually breeds another source of comfort.”
“It shouldn’t be like that,” you murmured. “It should be enough that the other person exists and will be coming back.”
Yanjun shrugged as he flicked the top off the bottle. “That’s what I thought too. But I guess not.” You watched his Adam’s apple move up, down as he chugged half of the beer. “You should sleep. Sorry. This wasn’t how I thought our first meeting would be.”
When you remained seated, it was he who stood up. “You don’t have to feel bad. I should have known. The signs had been there. But you really should sleep. We both have work tomorrow.” Only when you heard his door close did you take in a deep breath and finally allow yourself to go upstairs.
It wasn’t out of sympathy or innate goodness that you wanted to stay with him a little longer. It was because you knew how it felt to have someone betray you with another person you trusted. Your heart ached a little for him but you also knew he would have to go through this by himself, or he would always feel the need to have an emotional crutch. You sighed as you turned over to your side. Maybe it would have been better if you had never met your new roommate.
The next morning, you saw a pile of sheets in the hallway and a pile of clutter. When Yanjun saw you, he asked, “Do you happen to have another set of sheets? She used them all. I couldn’t even sleep in my own bed last night.” He was speaking in a deadpan voice. His words came on too fast and he looked terrible.
“Yeah. You should have asked last night.” When you came back down, he was crouching by the wall and you walked past him to put the sheets in place. You fluffed out his comforter and reached to his dresser for his cologne to spray down everything so all that was left was his scent.
Yanjun was standing in the doorway, watching you with crossed arms. “Why did you do that?”
“You’re going to need to have some serious self-care the next few days. I won’t interfere too much but I’ll do what I can.”
The cold exterior that came up every time he was trying to control his emotions slipped a little. “Thanks. I do appreciate it.”
“What do you usually have for breakfast? It’s seven. You should eat something before work.”
“I’m fine,” he started but you glared at him. “Okay. Eggs, and bread, with butter, and I like orange juice too I guess.”
You couldn’t help but laugh out loud. “You said you didn’t want, and when you did open your mouth, you have such a tall order.” But you were joking because even though you’ve only known each other for less than a day, your heart went out to him.
When you came home, it was pouring. You saw Yiwen standing outside the door. She was pounding and shouting Yanjun’s name. Before she could see you, you quickly turned the corner and stayed behind a tree. You shivered as the water soaked you through.
Suddenly, the downpour stopped. You looked up and saw an umbrella over your head. Yanjun’s eyebrows were furrowed as you stared at you. “Why are you just standing here? Come on, let’s head home.” He steered you gently by the elbows. Try as you did to dig your heels into the ground, he still managed to get you to walk towards home.
You had expected him to pause, or to react when he saw the girl still pounding on your door but he walked on determinedly. His arm went to your shoulders and you felt a twinge of discomfort. “Excuse me,” he mumbled as he forcibly pushed her out and unlocked the door.
“Yanjun, please, can we talk?” But he was already shutting the door firmly in her face.
“It’s pouring outside,” you murmured.
“So? I didn’t ask her to stand out there.”
There was a coldness in his voice but you knew from the way his jaw clenched that the punishment was as much for him as for her.
“You should talk it out. Find an ending.” It was already past your boundaries but the words fumbled from your mouth anyway. He turned to stare at you furiously until he deflated.
“Is there really anything to talk about?”
“Of course.” You moved to walk up the stairs. “At least give yourself the chance to say goodbye.”
You didn’t need to look to know that he opened the door and talked to her. You didn’t go down the rest of the night.
The next week passed much like your first five days did; there was no visible sign of your roommate anywhere. It was only in the residual steam of the showers and the empty mug in the sink. For the most part, he was out of the house by the time you woke up and then inside when you came back. You didn’t know if this was coincidence or if he were deliberately avoiding you.
To your surprise, you came home one day to find a meal on the table and Yanjun sitting there. “Hi, care to join me?”
You placed your bag down on the sofa before making your way to the dining table. “I haven’t exactly been the best roomie, and I still haven’t properly thanked you for taking care of me before.”
The gesture was sweet. “You really don’t need to thank me. All I did was give you your space.”
“Yeah, and make me breakfast, make sure that my dishes were cleaned, as well as kept food in the fridge.” He raised a brow. “So this is thank you.” You smiled and picked up your chopsticks.
Dinner with Yanjun became routine. Sometimes you cooked, sometimes he did, and other times one of you would bring something home. You understood. There was a void in his life and he had to fill it somehow. It didn’t bother you because you realized how much you enjoyed his company. The more you learned about Yanjun, the more you realized how fascinating he was.
He had hopes and dreams but was also realistic enough to pursue them with a limit. He was well-read and liked to tell jokes, puns so cryptic you sometimes had to stop, stare and think for a while before you smiled. He would ask you questions that forced you to reveal more of yourself than you wanted but you found that you didn’t mind. Coming so far away from home was to leave part of your past behind, and in this roommate, you had found someone you wanted to keep in your future.
But even when you found yourself falling slowly for him, you allowed it to happen at a leisurely pace. It wouldn’t do to open your heart too quickly to someone who had just had his closed. So you didn’t let it rush to your head. Instead, you just wanted him to be well.
It was a Saturday night when you realized how dangerous this feeling was. There was a knock on your door and for the first time in three months, Yanjun appeared in your doorway. He was looking this way and that, every which way but at you. “Hi.”
At your greeting, he finally looked up and gestured with his hands. “I don’t usually do this, and I hate doing this, but there’s a party at work. And she would be there. I was wondering if you…”
“Could go with you?” The invitation wasn’t as exciting as you had expected it to be.
Yanjun looked almost ashamed. “Yeah.”
“Sure, why not? I don’t think it would succeed at making her jealous though.”
His eyes widened. “That’s not why I wanted you to go.” You gave him a deadpan look. In the past three months, you had gotten close enough to understand each other’s thoughts without words. “At least, that’s not why I would choose you of all people to go.”
You didn’t want to think too much on his words. You had already decided you would go for him; it was only your on-sided feelings that made things complicated. “It’s alright. How long do I have to get ready?”
“The party isn’t until nine. You have time, and we can always go late.” He lingered at the door and you gave him a small smile.
“Yes?”
“Oh. I should probably leave you to change and stuff. Don’t worry about wearing anything too fancy. I want you to be comfortable.” You nodded and couldn’t help but feel your heart flutter when you saw him awkwardly shuffle away.
There was nothing in your closet remotely “sexy” or eye-opening. That wasn’t quite your style. Instead, you opted for a simple black halter dress and twisted your hair into a low knot. Yanjun was tall so you decided to hell with comfort. You were going to wear your four inch heels.
He was rolling up his sleeves to his elbows when you appeared in the stairway. Almost magically, Yanjun looked up and you saw his eyes widen. His gaze traveled from your face to your dress and then back to your face before he finally saw your shoes. Immediately, his elbow was out and ready for you to hold when you came down to the landing.
Even though flirting did not come naturally, you couldn’t help but tease him. “So, how do I look, roomie?”
He cleared his throat and you realized then that you had never seen him flustered. “Beautiful. You look absolutely stunning.”
You blushed and tried to draw away but he tightened his hold. “Come on. You’re wearing such high heels. Let me take you to the car.”
The party was at a restaurant and there were people milling about. Most of the employees had friendly expressions when he introduced you but some looked uncomfortable. It was clear soon enough why. Yiwen was sitting at a table with Zhengting trying to pry the glass from her hand.
“Will you stop drinking already? There’s no sense in getting drunk and upset when we were the ones who messed up.”
Yanjun’s entire body stiffened. Despite working at the same company, he hadn’t seen Zhengting since the night of the incident. And now, to see the two of them at once have been still too much despite all his preparation. You hovered near him, not willing to gather attention to yourself but also wanting to be by his side.
You saw him take a deep breath and then his hand was out and reaching towards yours. You allowed him to wrap his fingers around your palm. He tugged you forward as you passed by the pair and into the crowd in the middle of the room.
The music was playing and there was soft music. Yanjun didn’t let you go. “Do you mind dancing with me?”
You nodded, even though your heart was telling you that this was bad for your feelings, and that he really just needed to use you as a shield. He pulled you a little closer into his space and you could smell the sweet scent of his cologne. From the corner of your eye, you saw Yiwen glaring at you. If Yanjun could tell, then you supposed he had succeeded.
He had been gone for too long. You wandered to where someone had vaguely pointed out the bathrooms were but paused when you heard angry voices.
“If you think bringing along the new roommate would make me jealous, you’re crazy. I know you would never touch someone like that.”
“One, I have no intention of making you jealous. And two, that “someone” is actually a person I care a lot about.”
She scoffed and you saw her shadow step closer. “Yanjun, don’t think I don’t know you. I know your type, and it’s definitely not her. And even if you are sleeping with her, you and I both know it’s just to spite me.”
Those were all petty words. It was natural she would be saying them. But that didn’t stop them from hurting you a little. Each sharp syllable scratched at your heart. They moved and you saw Yanjun catch your eye. Immediately, you turned to go. This was enough. You had done your job.
You missed the panicked expression on his face. “Wait! Let go of me,” and it was Yanjun running after you. He caught your wrist and overcame you, leading you to his car. You struggled, trying to get out of his grasp but he held on firmly. “Let me take you home first.”
The ride was utterly silent and you took the time to collect your dignity. It was important to remain calm, to pretend like your reaction wasn’t out of hurt. You waited patiently for him to unlock the door and tried to step past him to go upstairs when his hand caught your shoulder and he spun you to face him. It was all so movie-like but the pain you were feeling was much too real.
“I didn’t bring you to make her jealous.” He didn’t give you a chance to speak or to refute. “I brought you because you gave me strength. I brought you because there was nobody else I wanted next to me when I confronted her. I did it because I do like you and I wanted to start bringing you out into my life.” His hands didn’t leave you but rather than the tight grip on your shoulder, they fell to your elbows. “I hope you don’t mind.”
Goosebumps rose on your skin and you stared at him, not saying a word. His touch was both soothing and also nerve-wracking. “Do you mean it?”
Relief replaced the anxious look in his eyes. “Yes. I do. I do really like you and I should have found a more romantic way to say it but this is the best way I could; by letting you stand by me.” He bit his lip and you couldn’t help but smile.
“Lin Yanjun, you owe me then.”
“Then date me and allow me to make it up to you.”

Big Bro || Lin Yanjun
Title: Big Bro Pairing: Reader x Yanjun Genre: OlderBrother!AU + slice of life) Word Count: 1483 words Summary: You and your older brother may not always get along, but you know that he’ll always have your back. Warning: mentions of cheating
A/N: This is the first time I’ve ever written a sibling au, so this is exciting! I would love to have Yanjun as an older brother tbh. Happy reading!
oof can you imagine yanjun as your older brother tho
i can only imagine he’d be two things
a blessing
and a headache lmao
onward to the fic
you and yanjun shared the typical sibling relationship
which means constant fighting and teasing from both parties
the two of you can’t go a day without being at each other’s neck tbh
1 like = 1 prayer for your poor parents who have to go through their kids bs everyday
normal occurrences usually go like this
“yanjun don’t eat the food that’s in the fridge”
“oh, you mean the three slices of pizza on the top shelf? too late lmao”
“lin yanjun istg i will eND YOU”
or
“yo bro i need $20″
“get lost, loser. why would i give you my hard earned money?”
“oh, ig that’s fine. in that case, you wouldn’t mind if i told mom about how it was you who knocked over her favorite vase but blamed it on the cat instead, right?”
“...”
“slide in an extra $10 and i also wont tell her that it ocurred the same night you snuck out to zhangjing’s party”
“i hate you”
also let’s not forget
“LIN YANJUN GTFO OF THE SHOWER! IT’S BEEN TWO HOURS AND I HAVE TO PEE”
ofc things weren’t always so bad
usually when hell freezes over
for example
yanjun and you had this sort of ritual where he drives you both to the nearest fast food place at two in the morning once a week
it was your way of bonding with each other and what better way to bond than over food?
yanjun was also your own personal chauffeur and drove you around his fancy motorcycle whenever you needed to get places
this idiot named his motorcycle angle angel
in return, you often helped sneak him into the house whenever he was out longer than he was supposed to
you joked that he was going through his rebellious phase
except that it occurred 24/7 365 days a year
one time he tried to climb in through your bedroom window at 4 in the morning
you almost dialed 911 on him bc you thought he was an intruder
ffs yanjun wyd
in short, you both had your moments where you actually got along for once
unfortunately, this was not one of those times
you angrily stormed into your older brother’s room, slamming his door open as it hit the wall with a loud bang
“what the hell is your problem? can’t you knock?” yanjun glared, removing his headphones off his head
“cough it up,” you demanded, holding out your hand impatiently
“what are you even talking about?”
“my watch! the expensive silver one that dad gave me for my birthday”
“look (y/n), sorry to burst your bubble but i don’t have your watch”
you raised your voice in anger, “stop lying! i know you stole it from me after i saw you eyeing it the other day”
annoyed with the accusation, yanjun’s glare intensified and his voice yelled back even louder, “i didn’t steal anything, idiot! maybe if you learn to be more responsible, you’ll stop losing things!”
you groaned in frustration, flipping him the finger and stomping out of his room. you didn’t have time for this.
after the fight, you were running late for your date with your partner who you’ve been seeing recently
when you arrived at the restaurant, you were shocked to see your partner in the arms of another person. you watched as the two of them exchange kisses with their arms wrapped around each other
*insert ‘oh hell no’ vine here*
you marched your way over to them, picked up a glass of water and splashed it all over your partner’s face
they were obviously a v thirsty mofo
the entire restaurant went silent bc oh shiiiiiit
somebody call worldstarhiphop
“you cheater! you make me absolutely sick. we’re over. i deserve a lot better than your sorry ass” you scowled
yaaaas you go king/queen
the entire restaurant literally broke out into applause and whistles for you
wow where can i get that kind of support
even with the cheers, you were understandably still really pissed
huffing, you walked over to the nearest bus station down the street
you cursed when you realized you had just missed your bus back home and the next one wouldn’t be for another hour
rummaging in your bag for your phone, your fingers grazed against something cool
pulling it out, you realized it was your silver watch that you had accused yanjun of stealing earlier that day
a wave of guilt washed over you
not only did you get cheated on but you felt like the world’s shittiest little sibling ever
scrolling through the contacts on your phone, your thumb hovered over yanjun’s contact name
you debated whether or not you should call him to give you a ride. both of your parents were at work and you knew he was still most likely at home at this time
but would he even pick up your call?
after a few seconds of hesitance, you settled for texting him instead
you: they cheated on me. please take me home.
honestly you didn’t expect him to text you back since he usually needed time to cool down after fighting. you mentally prepared your self for the long walk home.
to your surprise, yanjun immediately texted you back
the adopted sibling 🙄 : stay where you are. i’m coming to get you.
after texting him the details of your location, it didn’t take long for him to show up on his noble steed motorcycle. offering you a small smirk, you returning it with a small smile. he tossed you the spare helmet and you strapped it on before hopping on behind him
the two of your drove in silence but not necessarily an awkward silence. it was more so yanjun not wanting to force you to say anything until you were ready. you were also trying to wrap your mind around how hectic this day was.
“yanjun? are you still mad at me?” you asked when he stopped at a red light
“mad at you? nah. i’m over it. your ex? i’m going to kill them” he replied
you smacked his shoulder, rolling your eyes with a snort as he pretended to wince in pain “if you end up in jail, can i keep all of your things?”
“wow i go through the lengths of getting revenge on your ex for you and all you care about is keeping my things? i’m no star student but i’m pretty sure that’s not how it works”
you grinned, “in my world it does”
once he started driving again, you started to notice you both were going in the wrong direction
“hey, i know i’m not the best at directions but i’m pretty sure we just missed the turn to our house”
“that’s bc we aren’t going home. we’re gonna go to our favorite diner so you can eat your weight in food”
“i do not-- ok you know what, you got me there”
“thought so”
being the awesome older brother he was, he let you order whatever you wanted on the menu and even paid for it all. he saw you were still a little down, so he even tried to make you laugh by telling you more of his lame jokes
which honestly made you want to cry more than your break up bc his jokes were so bad
when will he ever learn tbh
“i’m sorry for accusing you of stealing my watch earlier today. you’re right, i should be more responsible with my things,” you apologized sheepishly, poking at your ice cream sundae
“don’t worry about it, kid, it happens. you’re definitely more responsible than i am. that’s for sure,” he chuckled, leaning forward to steal a scoop of your sundae
“woah buddy, hands off! you have your own!”
“yours looks better than mine!”
“we literally have the same order!”
and so you both went back to being the bickering pair of siblings we all know and love
the next time you saw your ex, you saw them freaking out from their car being towed away
was your eyes deceiving you or did you see slashed tires?
when you went to question yanjun about it, he acted as if he had no idea what you were talking about
“bro, what did you do to my ex’s car?”
“nothing you can prove”
yes you’re big brother was hella annoying
and yes he did drive you absolutely nuts
but you knew that at the end of the day
you knew that you both loved each other
you would always be there for him
and yanjun would always be there for you
fin
i dont have any brothers irl
but if i did
i wouldn’t mind him being yanjun tbh

Mauka & Makai Chapter 6
In which life was what happened while everyone was busy making other plans – and life didn’t need to be gentle to anyone.
Pairing: Yanjun? x OC || uni!au
Genre: Angst. A whole lot of it. Also, not a genre, but Li Mei and Zhengting are friendship goals.
Chapter 5 | Chapter 7 | Masterlist
Chapter 6 – “You do know you’re an idiot, right?”
It was two in the morning when I let myself fall back into the cushions of the sofa, handing Yanjun a glass of water. I was tired as fuck, and I would need to get up at six to get ready for university. But here I was, studying Yanjun’s face instead.
Sad look in his eyes, said eyes still rimmed red, looking just as tired as I felt, the corner if his lips tugged downwards as he thanked me before taking a sip, his skin was pale, almost sickly pale, and considering his normally sun kissed skin, it was alarming.
“Yanjun,” I leaned forward, trying very hard to keep my eyes open, “what happened to you? Why weren’t you answering my texts? I was so worried about you and did show up but… The way you look only makes me more worried.” I droopily blinked a few times, hoping it would keep me awake. I felt like I would fall asleep any second. Yanjun yawned when I had to yawn, and a small groan escaped his lips before his gaze fell back onto my face. “Can I stay over… for tonight?” he didn’t answer my question but instead posed his own, tiredly. There was hope in his eyes, but also hurt and sadness. Where did the latter two come from? “You really don’t want to tell me what happened, do you?” I questioned instead.
Intently looking at him, I was hoping that something in his eyes would give it away, that it would tell me why he looked the way he did. But Yanjun just stared at me for a few moments that seemed too long. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have come,” he abruptly got up and headed for the door. In my state, I needed a moment longer to process this, but the second I did, I jumped up from the sofa and ran to the front door. There, I saw him putting his shoes back on and grabbed his arm, roughly turning him to me. “You do know you’re an idiot, right?” I inquired with hurt evident in my voice. Yanjun’s eyes widened.
I took a deep breath. “You just vanish into thin air, don’t answer me at all, make me worried about you, aren’t even at home, don’t give me a single sign of life, let me keep wondering if you’re okay, show up at my doorstep at midnight looking completely broken, cry into my arms for almost two hours, don’t want to tell me what’s wrong, making me only more worried, I let you stay even at two in the morning even though I have to get up at six, just to keep you company because I care about you, and you still think I wouldn’t let you stay over? Just how much of a fucking idiot are you, Lin Yanjun?” I wasn’t sure if it was the worry of the past few days, or if it was because of how tired I was, but tears threatened to spill by the time I was done with my small rant. While I was trying to keep myself from crying, Yanjun just stared at me in disbelief and possibly shock, too. I took a deep breath, and that was when the man seemingly came back to his senses.
He stepped forward and embraced me again, using his hand to lean my head against his chest. I strongly grabbed onto his shirt, burying my face into the exposed skin right below his throat. “I am sorry for worrying you,” his voice was silent. His skin was warm. It was comfortably warm, calming me in some weird way. I took another breath and there was silence for a moment. I could feel him lift his head, possibly looking forward into the apartment somewhere. “I am sorry. You have so many other things on your mind, someone else to take care of.” It was then that I realized that he was looking towards Kun’s room. “But I still made you worried about me. I am sorry, Li Mei.” He lowered his head again, burying his face into my hair, taking a deep breath himself. “You’re right. I’m an idiot.” My grip on his shirt only got stronger, and I bit my tongue. “Yes, you are,” I mumbled into his skin, eliciting a small dark chuckle from him. I felt the vibration of it with my nose brushing against his throat.
“I’ll try not to be as much of an idiot from now on, okay?” Now it was me who chuckled. A moment of peaceful silence passed between us. There was nothing else but Yanjun holding me in his arms for a moment, me feeling his warm skin on my face and taking in his scent as I closed my eyes, reveling in this moment, trying to cherish it. I wanted to freeze time, just for a little while. This was perfect right now. I wished we could’ve stayed like that. “Will you go to uni tomorrow?” I asked. I had to ask, because I didn’t have a definite answer to this question by just thinking about it. Especially considering his state right now. Was he? Would he? Yanjun didn’t answer for a few seconds. Just when I thought he wouldn’t answer at all was when he spoke.
“I will.”
“Then let’s go to bed. We’ll have to get up in a few hours- and you won’t be able to shower for hours on end. Just a heads up,” I said as I broke the contact between us, taking a step back. Yanjun only smiled down at me with a small nod. I went to my room to look for a pair of clothes that might fit him, but I needed to get some of Kun’s in the end.
Four hours of sleep left.
Let’s see how dead the two of us were going to be in the morning.
Yanjun definitely wasn’t an early bird.
Neither was I.
I wanted to smash my alarm clock against the wall the moment it rung, and bury myself under my blanket. Like a zombie, still half asleep, I went to wake up the sad boy and took a quick shower, Yanjun showering right after me. While the two of us were sitting at the table in mutually wanted silence during breakfast, Kun woke up. I wished I had my phone ready the second he had laid eyes on Yanjun. His face was truly priceless. Kun came into the living room rubbing his eyes, and stopped short once he saw the two of us with grim and tired faces, confusion crossing his features.
“Um… good morning?” he threw into the round that was responded with a mumbling from the two of us as he sat down at the table with a yawn. “It’s been a while, Yanjun,” he smiled at the older one, who put all his effort into smiling back. Reaching out, Yanjun patted Kun’s head. “Good to see you again, kid.” While the black haired resumed with his breakfast, Kun glanced at me when he was sure Yanjun wouldn’t notice. I shot him a look that was sure to tell him that I would tell him later. Kun seemed to satisfied with that and went back to talking. I normally wasn’t a morning person since I needed a while to really wake up and have some energy, but Yanjun was truly the kind of person who just had a black cloud above his head and a “don’t talk to me” vibe in the morning.
He was worse than me. He hated it when people tried chatting him up in the morning, though I could see him seriously trying with Kun. It kind of warmed my heart, because I could see that he cared about the younger boy and didn’t want to be mean to him, so I just watched them during their conversation until Yanjun and I had to leave for university.
“So… are you going to go to uni like usually or just today?” I looked at him as I tried to keep up with his step. He was going a little fast. Faster than usually. It was like he wanted to escape – probably because he thought I was expecting him to spill all the beans, but if he didn’t want to, I wasn’t going to push him to do so. It also took him a while until he replied, like he needed to choose his words carefully, “Yeah… like usually. Last week was just… you know… special. I couldn’t really go. Got permission to be away.” He furrowed his brows, looking sternly ahead. I kept Zhangjing’s word in the back of my mind. He is sick. It sure as hell didn’t sound like it right now, but if he didn’t want me to, it was none of my business, so I also had no right to snoop around and squeeze it out of Zhangjing. I would still try one last time for Yanjun to explain it to me. This would be the last time I asked.
“And also the reason why you suddenly turned up at my doorstep.”
But he didn’t even spare me a glance.
Instead, he just sighed, hanging his head for a second before looking ahead again. This time, his gaze looked a little colder than before. “Let’s not talk about it. In fact, let’s forget last week ever happened.” I stared at him. I didn’t know what my face looked like but I could guess that it somewhat resembled his, with the scowling and everything. He really didn’t want me to know. I guess I would have to accept that. Even though we had known each other for quite a long time already, I guess trust wasn’t there completely. Would it ever be? “I can live with that. As long as it’s nothing bad that will influence you in a negative way… You know where to find me if you need me.” And with that, we parted ways and went to our separate faculties on campus.
His goodbye was short and very Yanjun-like, but I felt a certain distance from it. I felt a certain distance in his tone.
Maybe I shouldn’t bother or text him anymore at all today and just… let him be. It was what he had always preferred. Being left alone. Sometimes that solved things for him by itself; by just giving him enough time to think, to be by himself. Hopefully this was alike to those kind of situations. Well, I guess it would be. With that thought in mind, I went to my first lecture of the day, but I felt weird. My gut was telling me that it might not exactly be just that. There might be more. But this could also just be my mind playing a trick on me, my anxious mind too occupied and confused. Or was it really what my gut was telling me? I sighed as I walked into the room, looking for Zhengting’s familiar face. Free your mind, Li Mei, for you have a long day ahead and need to concentrate. We can over-analyze this later.
“Let’s meet up for dinner,” was the first thing Ting said to me as I sat down. “Good morning to you, too, Ting,” I gave him the side-eye. “Good morning, Mei,” he chuckled as he bore his elbow into my side when I flopped my bag onto the floor. With a hiss, I slapped him arm, and when I looked up, he had a big grin on his face. Oh, how much I wanted to erase that stupid grin off his face right then, right there. On a side note, he was acting weird today. Was everyone going to be out of character today? It weirded me out.
“So you up for it?”
“For what?”
“Dinner.”
“Oh that… sure. But why?”
“My parent’s project has been received way better than we had expected and our stocks have been rising immensely, so they wanted to have dinner tonight. I wanted to invite you and Kunkun.”
“Oh. Wow, congratulations.”
“So…?”
“Sure. It sounds really nice. Kun would probably be very happy to see your parents again, too. I’ll see how he is feeling once I come back home. He was pretty lively in the morning, but who knows how long that is going to last.”
Ting gave me a sobered smile, like he was slowly coming down from his high of the happy news from his parents. Reaching out, he ran his hand through my hair, but only once. “Sure. See how he feels. You know that I know very well that it doesn’t work out if he’s not feeling well. You won’t need to explain it to me. Actually… you never need to. I know about the situation, so just message me if you guys can come or not. Dinner will probably be at around 8. My parents aren’t completely sure yet where we’ll be going out to eat at.” Ting rolled his eyes and I suppressed a laugh as the professor walked in.
That wasn’t something new.
Some things never changed and would never change.
Hopefully.

NSFW A to Z - Lin Yanjun (Idol Producer)
I looked up his age to make sure he’s legal and like LMAO I didn’t realize he was 22 oops
—
A= Aftercare (What they’re like after sex)
Is asking if you’re okay, if it was too rough/soft, if you need anything specifically. He probably doesn’t want to get out of bed and shower and change into clothes so most of the time he’ll grab a wet washcloth and clean up but cuddle immediately after
B = Body part (Their favourite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
He loves his dimples duh but he loves your legs
C = Cum (Anything to do with cum basically… I’m a disgusting person)
Will cum on your back or your stomach mostly if he can’t cum inside you. He doesn’t ever want to cum on your face because he thinks it’s disrespectful
D = Dirty Secret (Pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)
Likes mutual masturbation but is lowkey a little scared to ask how you feel about it or if you’re willing to do it
E = Experience (How experienced are they? Do they know what they’re doing?)
Relatively experienced imo, 2 serious partners and maybe a few one night stands. I think this boy would know what he was doing but be super shy about it lol
F = Favourite Position (This goes without saying. Will probably include a visual)
Loves when you ride him because he can still have a level of control but damn you look good on him that
G = Goofy (Are they more serious in the moment, or humorous, etc)
Yanjun is a silly ass guy with some striking visuals so this is really hard for me. I think it would just depend, if he was feeling particularly happy and playful than it’ll definitely be more humorous but if it’s angry or romantic sex he’ll be serious
H = Hair (How well groomed are they, does the carpet match the drapes, etc.)
This could really go either way for me omg, so I think he trims it so it doesn’t get crazy but he’s not bare at all
I = Intimacy (How are they during the moment, romantic aspect…)
Not too romantic imo, I think he’d be in the middle and keep it romantic and but really cheesy and mushy
J = Jack Off (Masturbation headcanon)
This boy actually really likes masturbating whether you’re around to help or not so I think he does it fairly often probably at least once to twice a day
K = Kink (One or more of their kinks)
BODY WORSHIP, light choking (giving), daddy/master/sir, dom/sub relationship, spanking, orgasm denial
L = Location (Favourite places to do the do)
Loves fucking you on the couch or dinner table which may be odd but the position and angles he can get make you scream
M = Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going)
Loves when you wearing stockings and short skirts, when you playfully flirt with his friends just to get him jealous, wearing his shirt/hoodie and panties around the house
N = NO (Something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)
He wouldn’t like gagging or being gagged, humiliation, or being 100% submissive
O = Oral (Preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc)
BOYYY loves blowjobs but eating you out is so goddamn fun. He goes 50/50 bc either way it’s a give and take so y’all return the favor for the other
P = Pace (Are they fast and rough? Slow and sensual? etc.)
I think he’d be fast and rough for the most part, he likes just slamming into you and bruising your hips and seeing you limp helps his already huge ego (hell you enjoy it too so no worries lol)
Q = Quickie (Their opinions on quickies rather than proper sex, how often, etc.)
Quickies are pretty bomb in his opinion, the thrill of going against time gets him riled up, he makes it his goal to get you off as quickly as possible
R = Risk (Are they game to experiment, do they take risks, etc.)
As previously mentioned, getting caught during a quickie would be so much fun for him. He’d love the risk of touching you under a table too, in front of his or your parents, your friends, his coworkers, whoever.
S = Stamina (How many rounds can they go for, how long do they last…)
2-3 rounds definitely, he has really amazing stamina so he wears himself and you out
T = Toy (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)
Probably doesn’t have any toys other than like a pair of handcuffs (to use on him or you) but would be open to what you have/want to try.
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)
Y’all have seen how mischievous this kid is, he’d tease you until you were quivering underneath him just begging and mewling for him to take you
V = Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make)
Girl he is vocal as HELL, dirty talk, loud ass moans and groans, growling by your ear, you name it he does it
W = Wild Card (Get a random headcanon for the character of your choice)
Eye contact is really important to him, he always wants to see your eyes when you’re blowing him or he’s eating you out. Same goes for fucking too, I can just hear him saying “look at me baby girl” fuCK
X = X-Ray (Let’s see what’s going on in those pants)
A solid 6.5 inches (wishful thinking? maybe lol)
Y = Yearning (How high is their sex drive?)
He’s a young boy so it’s pretty high all the time but he has enough self control to not make it awkward or forceful
Z = ZZZ (… how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)
This boy will knock the fuck out afterwards I’m sorry lol he really isn’t one for all the sappy pillowtalk and he’s just really tired

Stuck || Xiao Gui
Title: Stuck Pairing: Reader x Xiao Gui Genre: EnemiestoLovers!AU + College!AU + fluff Word Count: 2397 Summary: During a game of truth or dare, you find yourself stuck in a closet with the person you hate the most: Xiao Gui. Warnings: Mentions of alcohol and claustrophobia
A/N: My first Xiao Gui fic! It’s taken me way too long to write for him. I love this little bub so much. Please continue to shower him with love and affection, ty. The request originally only asked to be an enemies to lovers au, but I put my own spin on it and made it into a college au as well (which I’m modeling after American standards bc that’s all I know lol). This is also the longest fic I’ve ever written so far on the blog, so definitely putting it all under the cut. Happy reading!
“Come on, (y/n)! Live a little!” your friend Zhou Rui begged you through the phone.
You were casually chilling in your dorm room hoping to finally get some relaxation time after a long day of classes. While you did manage to catch an hour or so to nap, your plans for peace were thrown away the moment your best friend Zhou Rui called you in order to convince you to go to this college party being held by one of his friends later tonight.
“You already know I’m not much of a party person,” you whined.
“It’s still better than whatever you choose to spend your Friday nights. You’re always cooped up in your room!”
“There’s nothing wrong with binge watching my favorite drama!”
You can virtually imagine him rolling his eyes at you. “It’s college, kid. You can afford to give up one Friday to have some fun. I’ll be there with you the entire time,” he reasoned.
Knowing how persistent he could be, you sighed in defeat. You guessed he was right. This week was packed with assignments, so you barely had any time for any kind of enjoyment. Maybe a party would be good for you.
“I don’t have anything to wear,” you grumbled.
“Good thing you have me as your best friend in the entire world,” he sung, hanging up the phone shortly after.
As soon as you ended the call, there was a knock on your door. Rolling out of your bed, you opened the door to find none other than Zhou Rui standing there with a triumphant grin. He casually waltzed into your room and straight to your closet in order to cultivate an outfit for you.
“I’m pretty sure I can come up with something that doesn’t make you look like a bum.”
“Wow, rude. Best friend in the entire world, my ass.”
“It’s all love, kid.”
In little to no time, Zhou Rui easily managed to match a couple of your clothing items to make a bomb outfit. Not that you had any doubt that he would. The male was a fashion model for a reason.
After the both of you were ready, the two of your trekked over to whatever fraternity house the party was being held. It was slightly difficult to figure out which house it was considering all of the fraternities were hosting parties to kick start the weekend. Thankfully, Zhou Rui is pretty smart so the two of you made it to the party within good time.
As you watched Zhou Rui bro hug the host of the party (a popular senior named Qin Fen who was graduating this year), you scanned around the crowded room to see if you could spot any other familiar faces. In the middle of the mass of dancing bodies, you saw Cai Xukun who you shared your 10 am class with. Not too far from him was Wang Ziyi who was DJing the music for the party. Near the alcohol table, you recognized the one chugging a beer keg as Lin Yanjun (oh god, you prayed for his liver). In the corner of the room, you spotted your good friend Zhu Xingjie and his friend Zhou Yanchen.
And that’s when you spotted the devil incarnate himself.
Wang Linkai. Better known as Xiao Gui.
He was standing behind Xingjie and Yanchen so you barely noticed he was there. Feeling eyes on him, he turned to look in your direction. The two of you made heated eye contact as you glared at each other. Then, Xiao Gui proceeded to mockingly blow you a giant kiss, smacking his lips obnoxiously loud. With a look of disgust, you pretended to catch his ‘kiss’ and overexaggeratedly smacked it on your ass, causing Xingjie and Yanchen to snicker at Xiao Gui who glared harder from the burn you gave him.
You rolled your eyes and made your way through the crowd to try and find your best friend. You spotted him chatting with his friend Qin Zimo, a classmate you’ve met a few times who you remembered as being quite sweet, so you were surprised to see him at a party like this. Apologizing to Zimo, you dragged Zhou Rui away.
“Rui! You didn’t tell me that he’d be here!” you huffed angrily.
“Tell you who would be here?” he asked in confusion.
You nudged your head sharply to the left. Zhou Rui followed the direction until he saw where Xiao Gui and his friends were standing. He groaned loudly.
“Seriously? Xiao Gui?” he looked at you unimpressed.
“Duh, who else?”
He shook his head and responded, “I didn’t know he’d be here. Just ignore him.”
“How can I ignore him when he’s over there just... just...”
“Just what?”
“Breathing!”
The male deadpanned. “You sound ridiculous, you know that? What’s the deal between you two anyway? The two of you hate each other’s guts for seemingly no reason.”
You crossed your arms over your chest, a frown pulling at your lips. “He’s the one that started it. The little prick is always finding ways to mess around with me and get on my nerves. He’s a huge jerk and I won’t stand for it,” you spat.
Zhou Rui gave you a thoughtful look and reasoned, “Why don’t you give the guy a chance? From what I heard from Xingjie, he’s actually not a bad person, so I’m not sure why he acts that way around you. I’m not saying you two have to be buddy-buddy or anything, but it would be nice to have you guys not try and kill each other every time you both are in the same room.”
“Me and Xiao Gui? Getting along?” you asked in pure disbelief. “Like that would ever happen. Not in a million years.”
At this point, Zhou Rui looked defeated, knowing that he wouldn’t be able to get through your stubborn self. Throwing an arm around you, he began leading you away to the other room. “Let’s go, grumpy cat. I think a game of truth or dare can make you feel better.”
The game was already in progress but no one seemed to care that you joined in midway. A few rounds in, you did feel slightly better as you laughed at all of the absurd things people were dared to do. Some guy had to call a Chinese take out place and ask if they served sushi. Another guy had to brag on weibo about how much his “milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard.” One girl was dared to depict a human life through interpretive dance (she was also very drunk, so it was an entire mess).
Much to your displeasure, you noticed Xiao Gui and his crew join in the game. Luckily, he sat all the way across from where you did. You tried your best to ignore the feeling of his eyes on you. Eventually, it was your turn to play and the asker coincidentally was Zhou Rui.
“Truth or dare, (y/n)?”
You debated in your mind for a bit before replying bravely, “Dare.”
However, you regretted your choice the moment you saw the shit-eating grin that appeared on his face.
“I dare you to be locked in a closet with Xiao Gui for the remainder of the game.”
The entire room erupted into cheers and wolf whistles at his words. Your mouth dropped open in disbelief, immediately looking towards Xiao Gui who looked a mixture between smug and pissed off.
Vowing to get revenge on Zhou Rui later, you mentally cursed at him before stomping your way into the nearby closet that was held open, not even waiting for Xiao Gui to follow you. A minute later, the male joined you in the closet. Without a second to waste, the closet door was slammed shut along with the tiny ‘click’ signalling that you were officially locked in with your worst enemy.
Fumbling around in the dark, you hovered your hands in the air near the walls to try and see if you could find a light switch. Unfortunately, the light switch was outside of the room. Stepping to the side, you bumped into a hard chest and stumbled back a little before being caught with an arm around your waist to steady you.
“Easy there, tiger. You want to be all over me that badly?”“ Xiao Gui questioned teasingly.
“Piss off,” you snapped.
You were quick to step away from him, his arm falling to rest by his side. Carefully, you slowly backed up to a wall and slid down to the floor tiredly. You heard shuffling and guessed that Xiao Gui had done the same across from you.
“I can’t believe I’m locked in here with you,” you grumbled to yourself.
You heard him scoff, “Last time I checked you’re the main reason we’re in this shit to begin with.”
“Trust me. The last thing I would ever want to do is be stuck with you. Now shut up.”
“You were the one who started talking to me first, idiot.”
“Then, stop talking to me. This’ll go by a lot faster if we pretended like we aren’t sharing the same air.”
It was silent after that except for the sounds of drunk cheering and muted music being muffled through the thick closet door. There was light breathing coming from across from you. Looks like Xiao Gui decided to utilize his time by taking a nap. Aside from that, everything in the closet was pitch black, You couldn’t see anything at all. Neither of you had your phones (Zhou Rui made sure to take them from both of you), so you didn’t know how much time was passing and you had no idea when the game would end.
You sat there quietly as you tried to distract the uneasiness that began to rise in your stomach. As far as you knew, you didn’t really have a fear of tight spaces. But there was something about not being able to see or move much that started to negatively affect you. Gripping your hands into fists, you pulled your knees up into a fetal position.
“Xiao Gui...?” you called out quietly. Seeing that he was asleep, he didn’t hear you at all. Mustering up your courage, you called out to him louder.
“Xiao Gui!”
The said male groaned in annoyance from being awakened. “First, you tell me to stop talking to you. Then, you proceed to wake me up to talk. What the hell do you want?” he complained.
“Do you think they’ll let us out soon?” you asked softly.
“How am I supposed to know? I’m just as clueless as you are,” he answered before continuing with a mocking tone, “Why? Is little (y/n) scared of the dark?”
“...”
“...(Y/n)?”
You refused to answer him. To tell the truth, you were indeed afraid but you didn’t want to admit it to him. He wouldn’t let you hear the end of it and you don’t need that kind of torment right now. As the silence grew louder, so did the sound of your heart beating in your ears. Your body was shaking at this point.
You almost screamed in fear when you felt movement next to you, only for you to realize midway that it was Xiao Gui who was now sitting beside you. He proceeded to wrap his left arm around you and pull you tightly to his side. This was the closest you had ever been to him. He smelled of clean linen with a hint of citrus. It was a calming scent that put you slightly more at ease along with the comfort of feeling something warm around you.
“What are you doing?” you meekly said, not used to this kind of behavior coming from Xiao Gui of all people.
“It’s obvious that you’re afraid. I’m not going to sit around in silence and watch you have an entire breakdown,” he said.
His voice was surprisingly soothing and low, as if he was avoiding trying to scare you any further. You felt the presence of his hand linger in front of your face for a little before gently pressing it your cheek and wiping away a stray tear from your eye. You hadn’t realized you were crying.
You turned your head in his direction and wondered out loud, “But why? You don’t even like me.”
“I actually like you a lot.”
To say you were shocked was an understatement. Your worst enemy likes you? As in actually having feelings for you?
“That doesn’t make any sense. Why are you always acting as if you hate my guts?” you questioned.
The darkness of the closet disguised the longing look in Xiao Gui’s eyes. “That’s a good question. I didn’t mean to be like this. When I first realized I liked you, I was completely confused as to how to deal with these feelings. I’ve never liked someone like this before. I panicked, so my reaction was to act like a jerk in order to get your attention. Unfortunately, that plan backfired on me.”
“No shit, Sherlock.”
He chuckled sadly, “Yeah, I deserved that one. When we get out of here, you can go back to ignoring me. I won’t bother you anymore now that I know you practically despise me.”
You didn’t realize it yourself but your body had subconsciously leaned on Xiao Gui’s shoulder the entire time he was talking. There was something about the gentle way that he held you and was talking to you that made you feel comfortable and most importantly... safe. In his arms, you felt safe.
“You know... you could have just came up and talked to me. I would have given you a chance,” you stated matter-of-factly.
He seemed to think this over before replying, “Well... I’m talking to you now. Is that offer still available?”
You hummed in response, “Take me on a few dates and we’ll see from there.”
The sound of the door unlocking reached your ears, followed by the blinding colors of fluorescent lights as the door opened. There were more wolf whistles and cheering from behind Zhou Rui, who stood at the door with an I-told-you-so face. Rolling your eyes, you stood up and exited the closet with Xiao Gui’s arm slung over your shoulder. You had a feeling you’d be stuck with him for much longer than you think.

Vacation CH 4
Xiao Gui walked out to the living room. The boys were out there already, waiting for him.
“You have a girlfriend.” ZhengTing said. Xiao Gui nodded.
“How long?” Justin asked.
“Two and half years.” Xiao Gui said.
“And you didn’t tell us?” Wenjun said. Xiao Gui sighed.
“It’s not that easy. We kept it a secret for so long because of our bosses. I wasn’t allowed to tell anyone about my relationship with her until we were both debuted. Only my brothers knew because they were there for the beginning. The boss of Qiyi knew about it because I was honest about it before going on the show. He didn’t want me to say anything about it either. I was honestly gonna keep it from you guys until Nine Percent disbanded.” Xiao Gui said.
“You couldn’t trust us?” Justin asked. Xiao Gui sighed.
“I wanted to. I really did. If it was only my career, I would’ve told you guys. But it’s Miu’s too. I can’t tell anyone about our relationship if she doesn’t consent to it. I never got the chance to ask her about it because our time together is limited. She’s always traveling back and forth between China and Korea because of me. I would get maybe three days with her at most every three months or so. Then she would have to go back to promotions in Korea. It’s hard to see her. I don’t want to risk getting into an argument with her over this. Our time is already limited, I don’t want to spend my time with her arguing instead of giving her the love and care that she needs.” Xiao Gui said. The boys looked at Xiao Gui in a new light. He wasn’t that immature kid that they knew. Not when it came to her.
“Is that why you always have your phone on you?” Justin asked. Xiao Gui nodded.
“She’s always on my mind. If she texts me, I want to respond to her. If she calls me, I want to utilize that time and tell her that I love her and that I miss her. Filming Idol Producer was hard for me. I felt bad, for neglecting her for months. But she told me to follow my dreams. I pushed myself because of her. I wanted to make her proud of me.” Xiao Gui said. Jeffrey had an epiphany. During Idol Producer, he had seen Xiao Gui cry while Xingjie comforted him. He had no idea why he was crying. But the Gramarie boys wouldn’t let anyone into the room.
“Xiao Gui, why did you cry during Idol Producer that time?” Jeffrey asked. Xiao Gui looked at him.
“You saw?” Xiao Gui asked.
“Yeah. But Yanchen wouldn’t let me into the room.” Jeffrey said. Xiao Gui sighed.
“That day, I practice the entire day. I came back to the dorm at around 2am. When I got online, I saw that Ari sent me and Jie ge thirty messages each. Miu passed out during one of her photoshoots and was admitted to the hospital. Miu has always been weak when it came to her immune system. She was physically weak. She would faint randomly and be dizzy because she would overwork her body. I was worried for her. I was scared of losing her. It took her two days to wake up after passing out that time. I was miserable. I felt useless and helpless. I wanted to give up on Idol Producer and just fly to Korea and take care of her.” Xiao Gui said, remembering that day.
“But?” Justin asked. Xiao Gui smiled lightly.
“But Aria scolded me. I’m thankful she did. She reminded me of my promise to Miu. Miu and I made a promise. That no matter what had happen, neither of us can give up on our dreams again. I told Jie ge before, if I had the chance to debut, I will seize that chance. Miu was my motivation. Aria convinced me to stay that day. I would’ve booked a flight to Korea immediately. But she said she would personally kick me out of Korea if I showed up in front of her. She said she would take care of Miu. I trusted her. It’s Aria. Miu’s older sister and my best friend. So I stayed.” Xiao Gui said. ZhengTing looked at Justin.
“Wait let me get this straight, you’re dating Song Miu. The younger sister of Wang Riley and Song Aria.” Yanlei said. Xiao Gui nodded.
“How?” Yanlei asked.
“I mean, I met her while she was studying abroad. I fell in love with her because well, it’s hard not to. She’s this sweet and innocent girl who was extremely optimistic. She knew exactly how to make me happy even while I was sad. My parents loved her too. My mom would call her on the phone more than she called me sometimes. Then the Guardians members were scouted by Gramarie. They became the models of Gramarie before transferring over to BigHit in Korea. I’m surprised you don’t know them. Jennie was under Banana Ent for some time before going to Gramarie. Yanjun talks about her all the time. He calls her his muse.” Xiao Gui said.
“Wait you mean to tell me than Yanjun knows The Jennie? The leader? Of the Guardians?” Wenjun was about to faint. Xiao Gui nodded.
“They’re really close. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jennie told me she was dating him. Like they talk often. Almost as much as me and Miu.” Xiao Gui said. The members were in shock.
“Tell me, who else knows the Guardians?” ZhengTing asked.
“Gramarie obviously knows them. Xingjie ge and Aria are dating. They’ve been dating for three years. All of Banana ent knows Jennie and Ari. Let’s see, oh how do you guys not know Jennie and Ari? They were both scouted by Yuehua. Jennie even modeled for you guys.” Xiao Gui asked.
“Yeah but we never talked to her. She was god tier man.” Justin said.
“That’s true. They’re all god tier. Uh let’s see though, Yu Mingjun knows Mira Jiejie. They’re actually friends because of Guanlin from Cube ent. Alice Jiejie knows Xukun and Ziyi surprisingly. I have no idea how. I just know that they’re friends. And Linong knows Miu because of me. He’s my roommate so he obviously sees me texting her. He thinks we’re friends though. Either way, they get along quite well as expected. Ari doesn’t know anyone besides Gramarie since she literally hates people.” Xiao Gui said.
“How the heck do you people know the Guardians? Like can I know them too?” Yanlei said. Xiao Gui pulled out his phone.
Baobei, did you guys reach the hotel?
Yeah~ we just got into our rooms.
Are your members there?
Yes. Jiejie said Sup and Jennie Jiejie said Hi.
Wanna go on call? They’re complaining about how they don’t know anyone but you guys know some of the IP guys.
Sure~
“Behave okay. I’m about to call her since she just got to her hotel.” Xiao Gui said, calling his girlfriend.
Baobei
Kaikai~
Alright are Jennie and Ari there?
Yes~ Jennie unnie! Jiejie~
What do you want Gui? In the middle of something here.
Yeah, texting your lover boy.
I’m going to fight you.
Please put me out of my misery
Guys, you guys are on speaker. Say hi to my friends.
Shoot. Hi! Thank you for being Gui’s friend. I know he sucks.
Hey! Never mind what did I expect… Ari? Say something?
Sorry, using her as a pillow right now.
Haha. That’s fine.
“You guys wanted to meet them. Say something?” Xiao Gui said to the boys.
Hello, I’m Dong Yanlei. I’m a huge fan of you guys.
Ah, the dude that had like ten days of training.
You guys watched IP?
Who said that?
Oh sorry, my name is Justin.
Oh that one kid that was on Produce 101 before. And yes to answer your question, we watched IP.
Then who did you guys vote for?
Lin Yanjun. I stopped after episode ten. His fuckboy self started to show too much.
Yeah right.
Shut up Ari. Anyways, Miu obviously voted for Xiao Gui. Ari voted for Xingjie. Who the hell did Mira unnie vote for? And Alice unnie?
Alice unnie voted for Cai Xukun and Wang Ziyi. Mira unnie voted for Jeffrey and Nongnong.
Oh yeah… anyways Xiao Gui, talk to Miu. Ari and I are gonna work on a new song. I suddenly have inspiration.
Hello?
Baobei. Jeffrey here is a big fan of yours. Can you say something to him?
Jeffrey gege, Thank you for being my fan! You did a really good job covering my song with Yanjun gege. Hopefully you guys got closer. And if there’s a chance, I hope to collaborate with you. You have a really nice voice!
Jeffrey was in shock.
Babe you put him in shock.
Miu Jiejie! I love you! Xiao Gui was confused. For two reasons. The first one was why was Justin calling Miu by Jiejie. And the other one was that he wanted to kill the kid but at the same time Miu doesn’t care who loves her.
Who said that?
Justin! I love you!
Thank you?
“Justin, you’re older than her.” Jeffrey said as his shock disappeared.
“Eh? Really?” Justin asked. ZhengTing nodded.
“She was born in December of 2002. You’re almost a full year older than her.” Xiao Gui said.
Umm would it be okay if I just talked to Kaikai? Alone? I really miss him.
It’s okay! It is really okay. Have fun. This is ZhengTing by the way. Huge fan of the Guardians.
Ahh, ZhengTing gege right? Kaikai told me that you’re my sister’s fan. Jiejie!
Thanks for being my fan. I think you’re a really good dancer.
ZhengTing sat back down in shock. Xiao Gui laughed and went back to his room.
Baby~ Kaikai misses you.
I miss you too.
Baobei, I’ll be home next month for a couple days.
Really? I am too! Jennie Jiejie is filming a drama right now and Jiejie is composing for BTS. So the rest of us have photoshoots in China. Our album is gonna be released near my birthday~
Wanna visit me? My parents miss their daughter.
Aww does that mean you don’t miss me? How mean.
Babe, I miss you more than anything. I just want you here.
Yay~ I missed you too!
Baobei, you had a long day. You have to sleep early now. I don’t want you to overexert yourself. Did you eat something?
Yes~ Jiejies made me eat.
Good. Now can you sleep?
I’m gonna shower first. Then I’ll sleep.
Okay. Text me when you finish. I wanna wish my baby a goodnight.
So soft~I love you~ I’ll text you when I’m done?
Okay. I love you baby. Goodbye.
Xiao Gui hung up with a smile. He missed her more than ever.
Double Update!
