beginners guide to the beatles

made one of these a long time ago but i'm surprised by how short it was. so here we go again. doing it right this time lol.

i believe in astrology bc how does john just happen to be a libra

when john was four he started living with his aunt mimi who acted more as his mother figure

his mother, julia, remarried and would visit him quite a bit.

it was julia who taught john how to play banjo and piano. and she bought his first guitar.

they both had a deep love for music and rock n roll

he never really thought of her as his mother but more as a cool friend i suppose

aunt mimi was more rough on him and did the disciplining

his father was never really present growing up and his uncle passed away when he was young

he thought he was a curse for the men in his family

he had five half siblings. two of them, julia and jacqueline, he was pretty close to. the other three he barely knew.

Review/Reaction of IT Chapter Two

Let’s just start right off the bat and let me just say that Bill Hader better get a fucking award for his performance.

Alright. Here we go y’all. im trying to stay in order with what happened but so much happened in the movie that my brain is just all over the place so excuse me while i try to form words

UNDER THE CUT CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS

• first opening scene is a fucking LOT okay like i sobbed my eyes out and it was just not cool. adrian and his boyfriend? CUTE AF. Him getting brutally beat up and then killed by Pennywise while Don just watches? NOT CUTE AF

• Mike is a precious boy and I love him so. He cares about his friends so much holy shit. they all get mad at him for lying to them tho.But he only did it to protect them. Mike knew some SHIT(tm) our boy is so smart?? I’m glad they kept to his original storyline

• Older Bill gave himself so much shit this film and i just felt so bad. like we know it isnt ur fault okay?? We know you loved your brother, stop putting yourself down. also?? him becoming protective over dean? please stop my aching heart.

• Jessica Chastain owns my whole heart and she can kick my ass anyday. She plays Bev so well and captures young bev’s personality so well. her scene with mrs kersh was very weird. i knew the second she ran naked in the hall i’d be seeing some weird fucking shit okay

• Jay Ryan could kick me and I would personally thank him like?? wow what a man. He immediately recognizes bev when he first sees her and im just?? im happy. so many hidden new kids on the block reference and it had me fucking rolling in my grave

• JAMES FUCKING RANSONE MY DUDE OH LORD okay listen. he gives off young eddie’s panic and chaotic energy so perfectly i felt like i was watching him as an adult, who just never grew up. I think thats what he was going for honestly. He played eddie SO FUCKING WELL

• I’m so sad about stan. THats all you need to know okay. I’ll talk about his letter later on in this. Stan deserved better. that’s all.

• if you are not a fan of vomit you’re not gonna enjoy richie tozier. literally any time something bad happens hes just like ah shit here we go again *vomits* and honestly? that made me laugh. like hes just like oh shit something is happening let.. let me just.. no no its fine guys ill catch up.. EHBWFIJHDFSIJ no okay but bill hader stole the fucking show. his acting was phenomenal and,, again,, i’ll add more onto that later.

• richie scares the shit out of dean. because he thinks hes pennywise. but can you blame him? the kid just. stared at him all creepy and shit. but its so funny. the losers make fun of him bc he doesnt know his own lines from his acts and richies just like “I dont write my own material” and eddies just like “I KNEW IT! I FUCKING KNEW IT” dead. goodbye.

• Young losers were still my favorite part honestly. Eddie kept bouncing that stupid ball in stan’s face in the clubhouse and i was waiting for him to get punched in the face tbh. That didn’t even seem like eddie, that was Jack’s energy bursting through the seams lmfao

• young eddie runs into a fucking box and shrieks and if that isn’t me idk ewhdfiajksjdoi

• THE FUCKING. HAMMOCK. SCENE. okay listen to me. thats gay. hammocks are now gay. gays only. gay interacts only. the bickering between reddie had me in TEARS. eddie kept kicking at his face and just?? casually??? lays on him when richie wont move??

• stan’s fucking shower cap ehfdiujasdiosa and then richie being like “nobodys afraid of spiders stanley okay” and eddie slowly removes his because he cares what richie thinks more than spiders ok

• a flashback from after they defeated IT in the first move with reddie “eddie youve been gone for 24 hours your face is most likely on a milk carton by now” “shut up richie”

• yong Richie has me weak af this whole movie, like always. just getting on Eddie’s case. HE PINES SO HARD OH Y GOD Like wow my sweet boy is so fucking in love ouch. which?? BRINGS ME TO MY NEXT POINT??

• THE ARCADE SCENE?? he checks out the kid standing next to him and tries to get him to hang out more and then the other kid tells him to stop being weird because he’s not gay, too, and then uses the F slur. richie was just so hurt. paul bunyun scene happens after that and hes just like “I just shit my pants” and i cried.

• pennywise screaming “lets play truth or dare, you wouldnt pick truth! you dont want them to know your secret” gave off the same energy as eddie’s leper blowjob scene from the book. same energy. do with that as you will.

• they had some flashbacks that included pennywise and im not sure if this was before or after they had defeated IT in the first movie but i interpreted it as after and if thats the case... hes supposed to be dead. but now thinking back on it, it was probably just more scenes before they put pennywise to rest for 27 years.

• young richie went to the kissing bridge after that and we ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENED THERE. fucking.. r + e :((( although we don’t see him carving the E. but reddie is canon so suck toes antis

• stephen king pretty much being like “I know u and ur endings really do suck” to bill when he comes to buy his bike was so fucking funny. it almost felt like a self insert lmfao. ALSO HIM MAKING BILL PAY 300 BUCKS FOR THE BIKE BC HE KNEW HE COULD AFFORD IT? iconic.

• richie and eddie opening the door to the dog had me laughing. pennywise was just mocking them at that point. they’d be such good dog dads and now im sad

• i was really confused because they added part of stan’s bar mitzvah?? like it wasn’t even the same from the first movie. like they should’ve just put the deleted scene in from ch. 1 and then added that part. thats one of my very few complaints. im slowly hiding them in here.

• henry bowers was kinda irrelevant in this honestly but thank you eddie for stabbing him and richie for killing him for trying to kill mike yall heroes

• BEVS BLOOD SCENE ?? CORRESPONDING WITH BENS BURIED ALIVE SCENE? poetic cinema. 10/10

• the big fight really disappointed me in all honesty. but i think thats because andy said he cut so much from there. i expect it to be better with the director’s cut

• eddie saving richie and then immediately being stabbed by pennywise’s claw? IM DEPRESSED.

• “Rich! rich, i did it! i think i killed him!” Our boy was so happy with himself :(

• eddie’s last words WERE NOT “i fucked your mom”. he was talking to richie and you can hear them talking while the rest are preparing to end pennywise. so im hoping we get that as a deleted scene.

• richie goes back to help finish pennywise but when he goes to check on eddie.. he’s dead. ://// and bev is like “richie, come on, honey.. im sorry” and richie does not want to believe him. he grabs and hugs eddie so tight i swear i could feel that hug from the audience.

• another thing im disappointed in and am sliding in is some of the animations? Like. fucking weird. but okay. luckily i didn’t care too much.

• THE SOB that richie lets out when he holds eddie really hurt my fucking soul jesus christ just kill me

• the losers try cheering him up after and like. thats their friend too but you can just totally tell he’s crying in a different type of grief. THAT WAS HIS FIRST FUCKING LOVE.

• they all remember after and thats really important to me okay

• stan writes letters and its spoken outloud while the other losers get little montages of what theyre doing with their life after the battle. Richie goes back to the kissing bridge and recarves- YES RECARVES AND YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THE E BEFORE HE DOES- he recarves the E and while doing it, stan’s voice says “be proud of who you are” and im fucking cry ibg okay

• in the end, i give this movie a 7/10 rating. although some of the animations were weird and some of the flashbacks had pennywise in it (like hes supposed to be currently dead but ok... maybe nightmares??) the actors were PHENOMENAL and the chemistry between older richie and older eddie made me so happy. my ship is canon. but im still sad about stan and eddies death.

Stargirl 1.10 “Brainwave Jr.” is out now on DCU and I’m here to talk about it.

If you’ll remember from last week, we ended on the cliffhanger of Barbara walking in on Pat, Courtney, & the Staff, and now she’s going to have to learn the whole thing. From Promo it looks like a lot of drama is surrounding that, which is awesome. We can also see Courtney & Henry together in the thumbnail for today, which is probably going to be them having a bit of a spat with the rest of the JSA. I personally love drama episodes, and we know a lot more is happening than just drama, so I’m really excited to see what they have in store for us tonight.

The opening crawl is set to Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, which makes this the second time the song has shown up in the DCU shows (now here, and Hank & Dawn sang it back in Titans season 2). I wonder if someone in charge has a thing for the song or what. But following that up, we get to see Pat & Barbara meet! How cute!! We got the story back in episode 1 but now we get to actually see it. They both get a banana split but there’s only banana so they share it, that’s so fucking cute. The one het coupe I support. And then move into them telling Barbara and Courtney is out here like “oh that’s a broom” like seriously? Really Court? I love how Barbara is taking no shit during this conversation. Barbara “get outta here with that Starman is your dad bullshit” Whitmore, iconic. OH SHIT AND BARBARA FUCKING KICKS PAT OUT OMG! I am living for this omfg.

And now we cut to the King’s and it seems Henry Sr has lost 10ish years of his memory, wild. I’m interested to see what this will do to Henry Sr in the future, and if his forgetting all the current ISA shit will have anything to do with Henry Jr’s character. Also, is it just me, or does it sound like Icicle killed his wife. How many loved ones of allies has Jordan killed? About two scenes later, Henry Sr mentions Jordan by name in his dreams, which really feels like conformation that Jordan did it to me. Then Jordan fucking shows up at the hospital like a bitch! What the hell man, just go die already. And now we see that there’s well over 3,300 of those VHS tapes Henry Sr was making, how obnoxious was that to move? “Merri the girl of 1,000 gimmicks,” was Henry’s mom a superhero??? MERRI’S BROTHER WAS STARMAN!?!? EXCUSE ME?!?!?!?! Hold on, I need a minute. Well, I’d say this is Henry’s motivation to try and work with the JSA.

This little scene with Pat & Mike is really sad. Mike is such a good kid, I love him.

The Staff comes to see Courtney in her room, how cute. And then fucking dips off to the Garage by itself, and is clearly holding a grudge against Jordan, that’s awesome. The Staff is such a fun character. And then it comes to the hospital to fight Jordan & Henry Sr by itself! ICONIC!! Oop, now it’s frozen. Fuck. Anyway, the more Jordan talks, the more he sounds like a crazy Colonizer. And is Henry Jr only cowering from Jordan, or is he also cowering from his dad?

The drama with the Whitmore family continues, Barb wants to move them both out of Blue Valley. And here comes Henry to fill in Courtney on the drama, and showcasing a new ability in the process. And thus kick-starting Henry’s involvement in the JSA and the team’s first real mission, only 10 episodes in!

OMFG shit must be serious, Barbara emailed Sam (who comic fans know is a real piece of shit). And then later, when Jordan and his parents show up, and Barbara records what they say in Norwegian? Amazing. It seems she’s at least going to give Pat & Court the benefit of the doubt after seemingly doing some research on Starman. And further on, Sam has actually emailed her back! Are we gonna meet Sam Kurtis??

I don’t wanna talk to much about this lunch scene because there’s a lot of opinions. Yo & Rick are totally valid in their thoughts and feelings, but also, like, there’s bigger shit to worry about kids.

But which tunnel entrance do we think the kids used? At the school? Do they just keep their uniforms in their lockers?? And it’s Grundy! Soloman Grundy!! OMFG!!! Rick, sweetie, maybe don’t go yelling at the fucking zombie in the secret tunnels under the town? Dragon King is here doing some real weird looking shit to Brainwave. And the Starsquad + Henry Jr is gonna fight all these creepy zombie slaves of DK’s, and once again proving how Court & Yolanda are the most prepared for a fight, they’re th eonly ones we know have some kind of martial arts training. RICK WHY ARE LETTING OUT SOLOMAN GRUNDY?!?! Fucking idiot boy. But man do I love watching Courtney & Yolanda kick ass. Especially followed by the older villains once again proving how big a deal experience is. Oh fuck DK’s face is disgusting. It’s real gross. I do appreciate Henry Jr fighting back against Henry Sr. He, at least, is not cool with the whole supervillain killer thing, which is good. I am once again talking about how cool the CG is for Court’s staff. And Henry Jr is straight up going to sacrifice himself for the Starsquad??? Maybe we don’t hate him. If they can handle his redemption properly, I may be able to support it in the future. As long as this isn’t all of the redemption arc.

WAIT HENRY SR KILLED HIS WIFE?!?! EXCUSE ME?!?!?! And now he’s threatening to kill his own son, real supervillain material. I’m glad Henry Jr is making the right choice though. And to see all of the Starsquad fighting so hard to help him, and Henry really apologizing for what he did to Yolanda. I’m glad it wasn’t a last minute “i love you” because that would be so unearned.

HI DCU STOP KILLING FUCKING KIDS!! I SHOULDN’T HAVE TO SAY THAT!!! AND THAT’S HOW IT ENDS!?!?!? FUCK THAT!!! Okay, but I’m still super in the Joey Lives camp, and we know that Henry Jr is at least decently important in comics, so maybe we’ll get them both back? Idk. I’m a little undecided on whether I want Henry to have survived because this really doesn’t feel like the end of his arc, but more the start. So I want to see that really get addressed. But at the same time, I want death to have consequences (unless it’s one of my loves, obviously, I’m fine with being a hypocrite for that).

I have so many thoughts, I’m really not sure where exactly to begin (beyond what I’ve already been saying), but that’s all things we can address later. Chadwick X Reader

Trigger: Miscarriage

Chadwick pulled up to the local bar in his hometown and sat in the car for a moment to prepare himself. He had been filming Black Panther all week and on his off day he went ahead and drive from Atlanta to South Carolina to see his family and old friends.

Hopping out of the car he stretched as he locked the rental car. He walked into the bar and immediately saw the group of friends waiting on him.

"Ayyye my man Chad. How've you been brother?" His life long friend Troy asked as they embraced one another in a hug. Once everyone had a chance to greet the star they all began to drink and talk.

"So how's filming going man" Jay, a friend he had since grade school spoke up.

"It's goin' man. I can't really say much about it tho" he said with a shrug.

"Ahh they got yo ass with that contract huh?" His loud friend Billy asked making them all laugh.

"Enough about work shit man let's get to talkin' 'bout what I been missin'. I know y'all got some shit to tell me" he asked not wanting to talk about work anymore.

"You remember that girl you claimed was never your lady but you were lying out ya ass? What was her name?" Travis spoke making Chadwick look at him. He knew who he was talking about but was confused as to why you would be the topic of discussion.

"Yeah man I know. She was a cutie. Iron Mike over here was about to throw some blows at me when I tried to holla that one time" Troy said making the group laugh.

"It wasn't like that man, and her name is Alexis." Chad said with a small smile trying to hide his embarrassment.

"Yeah well turns out she's back in town to stay" Travis said wiggling his eyebrows at Chadwick making his stomach do flips at the thought of seeing you again, you still had that affect on him.

"That's what's up" Chadwick said cooly. He couldn't hide his feelings for shit back then but he could mask them just fine now, he'd been practicing for years. And he had done a mighty fine job at it, pretending he was happy and whole when in reality a piece of him was missing and would probably never return.

"So you gone hit her up? I know that she was like your ace or something before she left and everything" Billy said making everyone nod.

"I ain't spoke to her since she left" he stated downing the rest of his beverage and leaning back in his seat.

"Why did she leave anyway?" Someone threw out there making him tense up a little bit. He never really liked to put his business out there even if it was to his closest friends. Not to mention it wasn't any of their business.

"She said it was some family drama or something" he said back hoping they would drop it.

He woke up the next morning to the sun shining in his face. Squinting his eyes he sat up in his old bed and began his morning routine. He shuffled down the stairs of his parents home and smiled at the smell of his mother cooking breakfast.

"Glad to see you could make it to breakfast Chadwick with you coming in all late this morning" she spoke as he kissed her cheek.

"Good morning to you too momma...mornin' daddy" he spoke to his parents as he sat at the small kitchen table. As their children grew older and had their own lives to live they stopped visiting and coming home as much leading them to scale down on furniture until holidays.

His mother sat a plate in front of both him and his father before getting her own to sit with them.

"So you know Alexis is back in town right? I invited her and her family over to supper tonight at 7:30. I need you here at 6:30 to help clean up. Ya hear me?" He mother spoke before digging into her own plate.

"Yes ma'am." He said. He knew better than to complain about her inviting them to dinner. He wasn't for getting an earful today not with the way his head was feeling.

"Mama I'm a grown man if I want to dress comfortable for dinner then I will. I didn't even bring slacks" Chadwick said as he sat on the couch next to his father who dressed the way she had asked.

"Jesus...you're my only child to make things difficult. At least put on jeans don't wear those shorts at my table in front of guests" she said walking back into the kitchen.

Chadwick looked at his father who just shook his head and continued to watch the news. By the time he had changed and came back down the guest had arrived.

"Leroy, Carolyn such a pleasure to see you all again!" Your parents greeted.

"Tim, Hazel it's good to see you all as well. Alexis sweetie it's so good to see you hunny" Chadwick's mother spoke up. You smiled in response before speaking.

"It's good to see you too Mr and Mrs Boseman" you said before sinking back into the background hoping to get this dinner over with. You know why they set up this dinner and hopefully Chadwick did too. You almost stayed home but Mrs. Boseman could throw down and you weren't going to deny your tastebuds of whatever she prepared tonight.

Once your parents greeted Chadwick you all went into the dining room to began eating dinner. So far all Chadwick had done was look at you but not speak thus irritating you more than you already were. After saying prayer (idk if you do or not) the food began to make its way around the table making your mouth water.

Everyone engaged in conversation as you sat back quietly and enjoyed the meal. Of course they had to ask you a question causing all of the eyes in the room to turn to you, even Chad's.

"I asked how you've been sweetie. I haven't seen you since the incident" Mrs.Boseman asked sincerely in a kind voice. This made both you and Chadwick choke on air before glancing at each other. Neither of you had enjoyed this topic. You had lost someone dear to you and Chadwick had lost two people that he loved from the bottom of his heart.

"Uhm, I've been making it Mrs.Boseman. Thank you for asking" you said with a small smile. She gave a small nod and sad smile. You suddenly didn't feel like eating as you excused yourself from the table and out of the front door.

You had began to walk the road back to your parent's home in order to retrieve your car. You were in your own world when you felt a hand grab your shoulder. You instantly knew it was Chadwick from the tingling sensation that ran down your spine like it had when you two had first began to be friends, at the age or 8 which is right around the time that you began to think that people of the opposite sex didn't have cooties after all.

"Now you know better than to walk out here alone minnie" he stated with a small smile hoping to get you to crack your first for the night.

"Chad just let me go so I can get my car" you stated not wanting to talk to him, memories starting to resurface the longer you stood near him.

"Ok Lex damn, at least let me drive you to your car" he said pulling you towards his rental car.

Once he opened and closed your door he slid over the hood in order to get to the driver's side. As he sat in his seat and closed the door you began to laugh at him. He pulled off and smiled at you.

"I missed that laugh Minnie. Been almost 20 years since I heard it" he stated glancing at you before focusing back on the road.

"It has been that long hasn't it?" You spoke up slightly turning to him as he made his way towards your family home. After all these years he still remembered where it was.

"Hell yeah and I've missed you girl" he said grabbing your left hand and caressing it. You smiled at him feeling yourself relax. The remainder of the ride was silent until he pulled up to the house.

"So, you think you'd be up to talk? I haven't had the chance to really have a one on one with you in a while" Chadwick asked.

You didn't feel up to it but you shrugged it off. It was just as much his problem as it was yours so why not? Maybe you'd get some closure from it.

"You wanna do this here or what?" He spoke as he turned to give you all of his attention.

"We can stay here and talk. It really doesn't matter" you shrugged a little nervous.

"Awe ok so let's go to the dock then." He said turning the car on and driving.

Together they sat on a bench in silence. It stayed that way for a while before Chadwick spoke up.

"You know it hurt me a lot when you left right?" He said not looking at you.

"It hurts too much for me to be here and be reminded of what happened" you spoke looking at him.

"I mean that didn't just effect you Minnie. It hurt your family as well as mine. We all were going through something" he said.

"Well everyone has their own way to grieve the dead Chad if I felt that leaving would benefit me why would I stay?" You spat back.

"Well damn it's always about you! Me me me what about how I felt? You weren't the only one to deal with that pain. I carry that shot around in me too y/n!" He spoke as his voice started to raise.

"WELL NOBODY ELSE WAS CARRYING THAT CHILD BUT ME! NOBODY FELT THOSE KICKS, THE MOVEMENT, THE CRAVINGS NONE OF IT! THAT WAS MY CHILD" you yelled not caring about who was around.

" That was my child too! I didn't only lose my baby I lost my lady too. The one I needed the most. You were the only one that felt and understood my pain. And you just up and left" he repeated.

You sighed before speaking " Chad we were both children, two 15 year olds having a baby. It took me months to wrap my head around that. And when...when we lost the baby right before I was set to leave, I felt horrible. It felt like my heart had gotten ripped out of my body and I had to watch it get ripped to shreds."

"And you thought still leaving would make it better" he spoke up softly watching as tears brimmed your eyes.

You sighed trying to compose yourself before breaking down. Your sobs shook your body as you tried to answer.n

"I-I don't know" you managed to get out as he stood there feeling his heart break.

"Can I hold you?" he asked just wanting to comfort you.

You nodded and ran into his open arms. He wrapped his arms around you rubbing your back as he repeatedly kissed your forehead.

"I'm so sorry Minnie. I should've been there for you. Im so sorry you had to go through that without me". You looked up whipping the tears from your eyes and responded

"Im sorry too Mickey, I should have let you be there for me. I should've been there for you too" you used your finger to trace a pattern in his chest.

"Shiiit we both here now if you wanna continue get some more shit off ya chest" he said pulling you to arms length.

"I'd like that"

"if you like it I love it baby. I'll be right back imma get some blankets"

You watched his tall frame jog back to where you stood and set down two blankets. He plopped down with a grunt before summoning you to sit next to him. once you were near him he sat you between his legs kissing your cheek.

"Now lay it on me girl" he spoke opening the pandoras box of emotions you were holding back for so long.

He was still willing to lend you a helping hand, shoulder to cry on, and an ear to vent to. You could always count on him, he would always be a holla away.

5 Seconds of Summer (Australian)

I’ve loved these guys since their first album dropped and seeing them grow into these beautiful young men they are now fills my heart with so much love and pride.

Year I started listening - 2014

First song I listened to - She Looks So Perfect

First 2 albums have pop-punk vibes. 2nd album gets quite personal and has helped me through some shit. 3rd album is different but cool. Very vibey alt-pop stuff. EPs are very underrated.

All Time Low (American)

Whipped from the start. Probably the most unproblematic artist out there. Just a couple of boys who want to play their music and see their fans. Pure™️. On the final Warped Tour.

Year I started listening - 2017

First song I listened to - Dear Maria, Count Me In

All albums up to Don’t Panic are very pop-punk. Future Hearts is pop-punk but there was this idk growth thing and it was just somewhat different to its predecessors. Kind of the record where they grew out of the ‘whiny pop-punk sk8er bois’ and into more alt-rock. Last Young Renegade was very different. Some pop-punk tracks some alt-rock some completely different. Loved it nonetheless. New songs scream Dirty Work and I’m living for it. Dirty Work is also extremely underrated and everyone should listen to it.

Boy Hero (American)

A bit like the love child of Sleeping With Sirens and Panic! At The Disco. Idk how to describe it but it’s hell good.

These guys have a whole bunch of covers. Self titled is pretty good. Also they like anime and they do twitch streams. Lead singer lowkey sounds like Brendon Urie. Got a powerful voice.

First album was deathcore then went to metalcore and got less heavy over time. Lots of people didn’t like the last album but I liked it. It was different but good different. Liked how they decided to play with new sounds. Also makes it easier to cover their songs.

Counterfeit (UK)

British rock band. Also surprise remember the guy who played Jace in the Mortal Instruments movie yeah well he’s the lead singer.

First album was straight up acoustic singer-songwriter stuff. Cute and stuff. Next 2 albums experimented with sound and it was great. There’s at least 1 song on each album that will make you cry. Actually went to his concert for the divide tour and it was great. Very chill.

The Faim (Australian)

Alt-rock with some pop-punk influences in there. Fairly new band and went under the name of Small Town Heroes before the name change. Sounds a bit like Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy and All Time Low.

The EP Summer Is A Curse is out now and boy it is good. Just waiting for the album to be released. They wrote some tracks with Ashton Irwin, Mark Hoppus, Pete Wentz, Josh Dun and John Feldmann and Zack Cervini produced it. I have very high hopes for the album. Entire band has this amazing stage energy which is absolutely mesmerising to watch.

Fall Out Boy (American)

Once again if you have’t heard of them you’ve been living under a rock.

Extremely pop-punk before the hiatus. Went into some cool different stuff after hiatus. Mania was very different than their previous albums and I actually didn’t like it too much at first but I gave it a few more listens and I loved it.

Gang of Youths (Australian)

An Australian indie band. Different to what I usually listen to. Very chill.

Latest albums is amazing. All the albums have a mix of bops and sad songs so you never know what you’re going to be hit with. Great lyrics throughout. Talks about real life issues in a number of the songs, some personal to the band’s life.

Before American Idiot was like underground punk rock songs. After American Idiot got some pop influenced melodies which got them into more mainstream rock. Bops, anger, sadness and overall feelings throughout. Broadway Musical version is extremely slept on and I saw the production and it is a masterpiece. Left me kind of breathless at the end.

Harry Styles (UK)

Super different from his 1D career. Has some old classic rock influences. Bops and sad songs throughout. Powerful voice and has an amazing stage presence. Media portrays him so badly when he’s actually such a wonderful human being.

Ex Panic! member and ex Falling In Reverse member come together to make some cool different music. 2 beans chilling in a band together.

Mayday Parade (American)

This band literally writes the saddest music known to humankind. Also unproblematic and everyone loves them. On the final Warped Tour.

First 3 albums are very pop-punk. Next 2 go into more alt-rock and pop-rock. Last album are a mix of both. It sounds pop-punk but still maintains that level of growth the band has gone through since the start of their career. Be prepared with tissues cause this band will make you cry.

The rapper dude from Linkin Park. Literally the only rap artist I listen to.

Also my music teacher likes them which really surprised me since he’s an old guy that likes to listen to jazz.

Got less heavy over each album. Collide With The Sky is probably my favourite album. Currently writing album 5 which I am extremely excited for. Vic Fuentes’ voice is quite high and but you get used to it. Screams are excellent.

Pronounced as pavements but they decided to not have vowels. Also remember Tyler Posey from Teen Wolf well yeah he’s the lead singer in the band. On the final Warped Tour.

Newest album is very real and super chill. Got some new different sounds in it. First 2 albums are heavy on the singer songwriter genre. Amazing writing and his voice has a somewhat raspy tinge and extremely powerful at the same time.

Excellent songwriting.

The Control Freak, the Narcissist, and the Liar - Part 4

Summary: In which there is arguing and Mikey doesn’t know what to do.

When Raph wakes up, Mikey’s gone.

Raph lifts his head, sitting up straight in the chair he must have fallen asleep in. He takes a look around the lab, hoping that the kid’s still there. No sign of him. Instead, Raph’s left with a slumbering Donnie, an empty cot, and a missing little brother.

Great.

He had to have been really tired not to notice Mikey leave the lab without waking him up. They all got the same ninja training, and Raph is usually pretty good about keeping alert, even while asleep.

Well, that was before. Before he’d started running himself ragged, trying to escape his family and his nightmares and the crushing reality that threatened to encompass him the moment he stopped to take a breath. The only comfort he has now is that at least he’s better at dealing with all of this than Leonardo.

Leo isn’t even accepting that Splinter is dead. To Leo, it’s like their sensei’s just gone on an extended vacation and Leo sits in the dojo, awaiting the day Splinter comes back to instruct him again. Or at least, that’s what Raph figures, the way the guy’s been acting lately.

There’s a soft clang from the kitchen, and Raph knows exactly where Mikey is. He heads towards the sound immediately, leaving Donnie to his slumbering.

“Mike?” Raph calls softly, his voice gentler than it’s ever been in a long time. He walks into the kitchen, but doesn’t see anything resembling a turtle. “Mikey, you in here?”

Mikey’s voice sounds from the other side of the island, out of Raph’s line of vision. “Right here, Raph,” Mikey says, and his voice sounds kind of rough. Exactly like he’d been screaming his lungs out. Huh. He hadn’t believed him last night, but maybe Donnie hadn’t been lying about Mikey getting angry.

Raph leans forward against the island, trying to get a glimpse. Unfortunately, all he sees is a little bit of Mikey’s shell, nothing to give a clue about what’s going on.

“Whatcha doin’ down there?”

“Oh, I spilled some of the milk on the floor,” Mikey tells him, finally popping up with a milk-sodden rag in one hand and a carton in the other. “I was cleaning it up before it dried up and got all sticky. It’s a nightmare to clean once it gets all sticky, and we live in a sewer. Imagine all the rats it would attract.”

Mikey shudders dramatically, and Raph can’t exactly help the upward tilt of his mouth as Mikey rambles. It’s been a long time since the two of them had a something of a civil conversation, and it’s nicer than Raph remembers.

It should probably be concerning that Mikey’s acting so normal after what Raph heard happened last night, but Raph isn’t much better at confronting his demons, so it’s not like he can criticize. If Mikey doesn’t want to talk about it, if he doesn’t want face whatever he’s dealing with, if he wants to be goofy and happy and chatty, then Raph’s not going to stop him.

Mikey puts the milk back on the counter and throws the rag in the sink before he turns to Raph, grinning. “So, you here for breakfast or did you just want to enjoy my company?”

Even as Mikey says it, Raph knows the grin is almost strained, just a bit too tight, like he’s not sure that Raph wants him around.

Which is probably fair considering how much Raph has been avoiding the toxic air of the lair around Leo. Raph’s a lot of things, but he isn’t a liar. It hurts so much to be here, in the sewers, with his family. It hurts so much sometimes it feels like his chest is breaking open and he’s ripping into two. He knows he can get involved in his own feelings, too.

But when his little brother looks at him like he’s not sure whether he’s still welcome, it’s time to put his foot down.

Gently, for once.

So he keeps his expression schooled and shrugs. “Why not both?”

The grin Mikey sends him is blinding. “Cool! Yeah, okay, d’you want pancakes? Bacon? Eggs? No waffles since the waffle iron’s on the fritz, but I can make literally anything else.”

“Eggs an’ bacon are fine, Mikey,” Raph tells him, fighting back the smile that threatens to cross his face as Mikey flits around the kitchen. “Did Donnie take a look at the waffle iron?”

Mikey doesn’t stop moving, doesn’t stop preparing their breakfast, but his response comes about a beat too late, and that’s the only reason Raph knows he asked the wrong question.

“Oh, uh, Don’s busy with the toaster,” Mikey says, his enthusiastic tone deflated. “I haven’t exactly asked him about the iron yet. ‘Sides, he’s got a lot on his plate.”

But he could probably use the distraction, is what Raph doesn’t say, because it really wouldn’t help. Not right now. He wonders, then, how things got so tense between all of them. Where before Raph wouldn’t even care to say what he said, or how he said, and now he’s fighting himself to keep Mikey happy. Once misstep and it was over.

Or maybe not. Hopefully he could salvage this.

“Yeah, he probably does,” Raph says, humming lightly like he’s thinking about something. Mikey perks up at the devious lilt to his voice. “How ‘bout you an’ me give Donnie a hand, huh?”

Mikey laughs, the previous tension gone. “Sounds good, bro. Let’s ask after Don’s got so coffee in his system, though.”

Raph’s grimace isn’t completely for show. “Oh, yeah. Good call.”

Snickering, Mikey turns back to the eggs, and Raph vows to start spending some more time in the lair, especially if this is going to be the result. A happy Mikey makes the world go ‘round.

“-and then Donnie just fainted. Right then and there.”

Raph snorts as he drops his plate into the sink. “Why don’t I believe you?”

Mikey huffs from atop of the island. “It’s true! I swear it is! You can even ask LH, if you really don’t believe me. He was there, too.”

“Donnie does a lot of things around April, but I don’t think fainting is one of them. He’s a nerd in love, not a wuss.”

“It happened! Oh, you know what also happened?” Raph hums, prompting Mikey to continue. “Me and LH were exploring a few of the tunnels this one time, and then there was this crazy-”

Mikey stops mid word, his mouth snapping shut with an audible click as he stares hard at something over Raph’s shoulder. Raph, alarmed, moves his hands to his weapons and twirls around, only to drop his hands a moment later when he realizes who it was.

“Leo,” Raph says, something like distaste in his voice even before he can stop it.

And it is Leo. Their older brother is standing in the doorway, like he isn’t sure whether he wants come in or not. There’s something in his hunched body language that almost makes Raph feels sorry for him. Almost.

But Raph isn’t stupid. He’s had his suspicions about what happened to Mikey last night since before Donnie even told him what happened. The way Mikey had practically curled in on himself, only one of his brothers could do that Mikey. Raph should know. He’s done it plenty of times before on accident.

But the way Mikey closes himself off the moment Leo walks into the room confirms it. Leo did something, or said something, and he hasn’t tried to make amends, hasn’t tried to reach out to Mikey like he used to, like Raph always tries to do whenever he and Mikey are at odds.

It’s something like an unspoken rule in their family, Raph supposes. Never let things like anger settle between them if you can help it, and you usually always can. Even if you’re upset in the moment, don’t let it last. Always reach halfway, and most of the time, the one you hurt will try to reach back.

It’s a rule mostly for Raph, but it’s meant for all of them. Just because Raph gets angry the most didn’t mean that the others didn’t get upset, too. They all fight, but they’re brothers, and they stick together.

Or well, they did. It doesn’t look like Leo even tried.

So Raph huffs a somewhat calming breath, because fighting right in front of Mikey probably isn’t the best thing to do right now, and pulls Mikey down from the island. Mikey doesn’t fight him, but he doesn’t look happy about it, either.

“Where are you guys going?” Leo asks, and Mikey stiffens. But he doesn’t answer Leo, his lips still shut tight, so it looks like Raph’s going to have to take control of this situation.

“I’m staying in the lair for the day,” Raph states plainly as he throws an arm around Mikey’s shoulder, ignoring Mikey’s start of surprise—he doesn’t know if it’s his words or his actions, so he’ll save that talk for later. “So me an’ Mikey decided to do a round of video games and a movie marathon. Ya know. Some bro time, just the two of us.”

If Leo catches the hidden jibe, he doesn’t show it. Raph’s temper is threatening to flare at the lack of reaction his older brother his showing, but he can’t let it get to him. Instead, he steers Mikey to the kitchen door, around Leo, and toward to the pit in the center of the lair.

Mikey doesn’t say anything still, and Raph’s almost fuming at this point, but they’re away from Leo, so that’s a plus.

“So, how ‘bout we see if Don’s awake, yet,” Raph suggests, his tone gentle.

Mikey nods, and Raph doesn’t let his little brother’s silence get to him. Instead, he tugs Mikey closer to him and they start for the lab.

How Leo can do or say something horrible enough to silence Raph’s chatty little brother, Raph doesn’t know. But if he does it again, then Leonardo’s got another thing coming for him.

Not knowing these people very well, my moms main concern is that if this family is crazy ill be stuck there for a whole month with no way to come back. Hello Thank you for entering in my post I've been with Admiral insurance for more than 1 year, which is my 1st car insurance since I've been in England I've been driving for more than 12 years and I've never made a claim before it was a normal and clear day and i was going to work when I had an accident with a girl riding a moped It was a very silly accident, fortunatelly none was injured, and I only had a broken wind-mirrow, which is no more than 50 of damage I had to call Admiral, my insurer, to sort the problem out, I had no other choice Admiral told me I was not covered to go to work since on the policy agreement says: use for social, domestic and pleasure purposes only. And, according to them, to be covered, my policy had to be: use for social and COMMUNITY. So Community for them means, going to work, it is ridiculas but that's what i was told However they said we cover you, you will have to pay 23.74 extra and you will be covered, it was frustrating, a theft, but I let it go... The absurd story didn't even start yet! I gave Admiral all the details which the police had given to me the day of the accident plus some pictures of the scene, which I took before to leave that day Admiral sent an inspector who interwied me at my house. This inspector wrote a statement of 6 PAGES! about my accident, however, I need to say, he did a very good job On the statement states that none was injured and the fault lies with the moped rider, which is also what the police said on the scene. In addtion this inspector suggested to call my insurer again to finally get my car fixed. Admiral told me I will have to pay for the damage myself and, after all their investigation, if they find out it was not my fault, I can ask e refund for the damage, and they added that this investigation can take up to 3 years, so I will have my money back in 3 years! this is because according to them, the moper rider was injured This is absolutely incredible What would you suggest? Hello, I am a nineteen community college student living in North San Diego, California and I live with my parents. I make less that $1,000 a month working part time and going to school full-time. I talked to Jacob a lot the other day, and today we solidified an alliance literally minutes ago. I think Christian, Ruthie, and Conner would work for these roles, since I felt them out and I think I can work with them.
