I took a nap and had the trippiest(?) but amazing (and saddest????) dream ever about a reddie AU

So Eddie uses tumblr. He decides queue a post 100 years from now, even though he’ll be dead, even though tumblr may not exist anymore

But he does anyway

The post talks about his friends and his interests and what was fun during his time and all sorts of things like that

Somehow tumblr does still exist then.

Richie has a blog and comes across eddies queue post. He reads it and understands that Eddie is long gone but somehow finds himself intrigued with him and follows Eddie anyway, looking through his blog, liking all of his selfies. He realizes they have so much in common and he’s... sad that he’s 100 years too late.

He falls in love with someone he can never have.

But, a new kid comes to school and sits next to Richie, introducing himself as Eddie. He does a double take and nearly has a heart attack because he looks exactly like the guy from the blog???? (Reincarnation is that YOU???)

Richie thinks maybe he doesn’t have to pine so hard after all.

I love how I've been driving in my little clown car, mutuals and all, headed towards a Bobby is Jesus reveal, and this episode Buck went to confession and got a whole damn earthquake as a sign, Athena isn't selling their house, Hen didn't take the offer for captain, and it was literally centered on people from previous episodes returning, so this clown car isn't a clown car it's a full on Bugatti competing in the Grand Prix and we're speeding straight towards that sexy ass finish line faster than the speed of light.

In 2024 (or 2025 I don’t fuckin know) when Welcome To Derry gets released on HBO, the fandom is gonna come alive again. I know this, we all know this.
