D. Smith was homeless when she started shooting this documentary about the sex industry, and we can sense the fury and rawness of the conditions under which this film was made. Art can sometimes be a savior.

But not for everybody. Koko, one of the main subjects of this movie was murdered soon after filming - the victim of a hate crime. The film is dedicated to her.

AAAAAAAAAAA I can't believe we did it, the webseries entirely made by trans people, Transplant, released the pilot episode and had a full house for a premier showing in Minneapolis. It was amazing to see so many people come out to support trans filmmaking, the reaction we got was amazing.

We poured a lot of energy and tears and blood into this project, 24 amazing and talented trans individuals who have never done something like this really killed it. Please watch the episode and consider donating to help us make more trans art and narratives

Award-winning film about asexuality 'A Matter of Trust'

My short film 'A Matter of Trust' won Best LGBT Film at the Tokyo International Film Festival and Best Short Film at the Mabig Film Festival. It tackles some of the assumptions people make about asexuality, particularly that asexuals are all abuse survivors who are scared of sex.
